✓ Editor’s choice!! Really?Well, the game is repetitive!! I have played tons of game with the same mechanism. Does this game has anything original? I don’t think so, i have played tons of games like that and got bored and quit the other games quickly. Nothing here to get attention unless if you are fan of transformers and you just want to play a transformers game. Beside that old repetitive game with different graphics. ✓ Game is now GarbageThis game used to be incredible but now it is a S**T show. For over a month the game has endlessly crashed for most players, and KABAM hasn't fixed it. It is frustrating to play. ✓ It was fun at first....When I first started, this game was really enjoyable. The graphics were great, new content/bots were added on a regular basis, and there was a point to playing. About a month ago, Kabam announced that they weren’t releasing any new bots moving forward and were giving players a “chance” to get old bots again. Their newest update (which only changed the Kabam logo, not game features) causes all game modes to crash on the iPhone 6 and older. The game has become completely unplayable. Kabam is simply “looking into it” with no real evidence of progress. They make so much money with Marvel: Contest of Champions that they’re overlooking the rest of their mobile gaming community. This isn’t the first app of theirs that has gotten screwed over and dumped in this manner. The game itself before the most recent and unnecessary “update” would have gotten five stars from me, but Kabam gets a 1 for their lack of communication or effort to fix issues with this game. ✓ Superb Yet LackingHonestly, if I rated this game solely on gameplay and features then I'd give it 5/5. That's not even taking into account the nostalgia. Sadly, there are many things which has caused me to be hesitant with awarding this game a higher rating. Chief amongst them is the absurd pricing for energon and the ridiculously low amount of gold which one is able to farm as opposed to the amount required for most upgrades. The game's design is truly beautiful and I don't mind paying to purchase certain aspects. However, it feels as if my nostalgia is being preyed upon and, while I do enjoy playing this game far too much at this point in time, I don't think I'll ever be able to purchase any of the in-game currencies when the current prices for them are simply ridiculous..Version: 4.1.0
✓ Thundercracker event is unbalancedThunkercracker event is unbalanced, I don’t understand the logic of having to fight 5 star bots that are above a level of 6,000 just to get a 3-star Thundercracker. That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Also, why would they give these bots such broken abilities that don’t belong to their specific characters, like unblockable ranged attacks or Soundwave inflicting shock on you from every range attack he hits you with. I get it, the level of the bots you go up against increase as you progress further into the challenge, which makes sense, but up to 6,000 is just too high and takes the fun out of the challenge. If you could just reduce the levels of these bots you go up against and take away some of the broken abilities, it would really make the challenge more enjoyable and worth my time. ✓ Needs more botsNeeds more bots. It also needs all of the skins, like the animated original series, the live action, and others for ALL the bots instead of a few. ✓ Y’all just get better and better but.It’s a phenomenal game I’ll give you that mcoc is still my main kabam game to head to for of course I’ve been with y’all since that game. This one is getting better too. But I’m only nitpicking at a few things like; the amount of people can join an alliance. Is there any way you can pick it up to 30 like witch mcoc. The alliance I’m in are vets but we weren’t all able to join due to the small amount of positions of 18 people in an alliance. The other thing is if you have an iPhone I believe the game starts to fade in and out of character models. All you can see are its silhouette of the characters your using during matches . And how it sometimes gets so worse the whole games screen turns black anyway you can fix these two main problems. ✓ What’s wrong with loading for battles?Sometimes, when it’s loading to the fight battle, The page will stay loading but I can hear in the background that it has already loaded. I can hear the AI Character fighting me and vice-versa if I press on the screen too. I’m fighting blind and can’t see anything at all. The loading page remains like that and doesn’t change at all. I have to restart the game all over again but I lose out on health or the character if defeated during the match which I fought blindly. Please fix this issue otherwise it’s so annoying to restart it again and I’ll lose out on energy which means less battles for me. I lose out whichever way either by playing blindly or quitting and restarting with loss energy for that match. I should get something in return for that faulty problem. ✓ Game is decent but Kabam Staff rips you offI’ve been playing since it first came out. The constant issue with the game is connectivity yet kabam blames us for device or network. I’ve played from home, hotspots, stores WiFi and its all the same on 2-3 different devices. Every now spotlight, there is 100% lag in the first few days, when it matter because of the alliance events. Next is i rarely had issues with rewards until recently. They helped out with a mod issue by giving me a 1 star mod even tho i had standard mods which could’ve resolved the issue. Now i explore story and did not receive 5 star bot crystal. Kabam says I received crystal but are counting my 5 star crystal shards which adds what i already had. So basically its ok to help with common items but when it comes to rare items, they don’t want to help. They give me the run around and each person after 5 different staff replied state something different about timing of exploring the story, and when i supposedly received the crystal. They need to work on their customer service if they want to keep everyone around..Version: 8.4.3
✓ Ok gameThe game play is interesting, albeit repetitive. What let's this game down the most is it's heavy drain on battery life and data. You can't play too long and not be connected to charge, which makes quests difficult. With the data, as it draws so much you can't play of long periods with out it getting laggy. ✓ I can't choose my own botsWhy can't I choose my own bots to fight with when I'm doing a mission or any other fight? It always recommends me what bot to use. But I can't choose my own. It's frustrating Coz it makes me lose all the time. What's the problem here? I go to pick a bot but it won't let me use it. It gives me the recommended bot, which most of the times is the wrong one to use. I'm not getting anywhere, and all my friends have the same problem... ✓ Better But Problems.The last update before the Prime suspect was okay but it didn't really solve the crashing, I mean it stopped crashing before battles and at the end it would crash in the arenas so my bot had aready defeated the opponent without getting an unfair penalty of being K.Oed when a crash happens in the middle of a battle but now it just got worse again. I don't know if this is a problem with running on Fios which it used to work fine until the next bot spotlight mission after Skyfire (Jetfire), or my iPhone 6 plus isn't compatible which it says it is. I know you don't read reviews or atleast respond to them anymore since you're all focused on MCOC to actually fix your Game. I sent Crash reports many but yet the update never says fixed older generation IPhone problems all I can basically do is open crystals, do away missions or chat on Global and the game still crashes randomly..Version: 8.2.1

✓ It’s a shameThis could be a really great game. It has great graphics, the fight mechanics are superb, and the attention to detail is awesome. However.... the game causes several issues with all iPhones. Overheating, the game is so graphic intensive that the main chip set and the graphics processor generate a lot of heat. This cascades into making the battery really hot, which of course causes the battery to rapidly drain out. What this translates to the game will vary depending on what model of iPhone you have. If you have an iPhone 6s, the game will run somewhat smoothly with occasional gameplay freezing. However, the battery will go from 100% to 20% in about 45 minutes. If you have an iPhone X, the game will have a lot of graphic glitches after 15 minutes of play. The battery drain isn’t as bad, but it isn’t good either, 100% to 20% in 90 minutes. If the game developer would explain what the issue is and what steps they were taking to fix the issue, this review wouldn’t be up. However, Kabam refuses to say what the issue is and has gone so far as to say it’s a hardware issue. Sorry devs, but the issue isn’t with Apple’s flagship smartphone. It’s with your software and you know it. It really is a great game, but the graphic and overheating issues have to be fixed and soon..Version: 6.3.2
✓ Don't waste your Money!!!!Unless you are prepared to spend a ton of money and take a gamble on getting the bots that you can never seem to get, I'd say stay away. I have invested so much time and money into this game and all I have to show for it is one level four bot that I can't rank up because of how long it takes to collect everything. Without spending money, this game would take months to achieve anything significant as you play through levels and then wait for new updates. I almost feel ripped off and I want my money back! On the other hand, I almost feel the need to keep playing because of my investment, time and money wise. After a while, these missions seem unwinnable and have no clear victory or goals in site. Side note: Advertisement claims OG megaton to face Michael Bay's Prime. ✓ Fun game, yet overheating issues.I have been playing this game for over a year and yes it’s pretty fun. The combat is engaging and fluid and with the addition with chips, every month I can acquire the newest bot. For over a year I have been trying to ignore bringing this up, but now I just can’t hold back, this game has overheating issues. Ever since I started playing this game will just heat up my device like crazy. It wasn’t that big of a deal back then, but now every match I do the game overheats and takes my back to the IPad home screen. This getting ridiculous, and I have no reason to quit cause the game is fun but if this keeps going on I may think about it. You can’t advance if you don’t pay for rare items to make your bots more competitive. You are always end up chasing new rewards and the time you have to spend getting them is simply ridiculous. It is not worth it to my mind. I keep an eye on the new rewards once in a while and if you don’t play you loose the rewards you gained or the daily ones. It’s unfortunate the game is dictated by money. It is one of the biggest games in revenue and i can see why. The other big issue is the lag...it makes it unplayable and you end up getting destroyed, just very frustrating. ✓ What’s going on???Ok for some reason, the game likes to kick me out of the app right as I’m either upgrading a bot or about to start a fight. I don’t know if it’s my phone or some crappy update but it seems that every time I start a fight whether it be in arenas, raids, etc, I’m kicked out of the app. If I’m kicked out in the middle of an arenas fight, I lose that round, if it’s a raid, I lose more and more time to finish, and if it’s during alliance or regular missions, the health of the bot I use almost always loses health even though the fight never even begins. Which is unfair because the cpu you go against doesn’t even lose health. And the glitch before any of this happened, I was only able to use melee attacks because the blasters never moved for me. All in all I gradually losing my motivation for playing this game in the first place..Version: 8.0

✓ Battles don’t loadSometimes certain battles don’t load up. Mostly when I’m against cyclonus or jetfire, the game freezes on the loading screen but I can hear the battle still playing out and all I can hear is the opposing bot defeating my bots while I’m unable to do anything behind the frozen screen. This basically makes it impossible to go through a lane with cyclonus or jetfire and you have to activate auto pilot before the match starts and just hope your bot wins then reopen the game. Please look into this bug as it’s game breaking especially during raids or special missions.Version: 8.6.0

✓ Honestly about to delete the gameI’ve been playing this game since it launched and I’ve had a great time with it. Now, it’s just becoming a frustrating and money hungry cause. Little to no resources are given when you complete arenas, objectives or spotlight missions. As for the spotlight missions, it’s all just to get you to spend more money on energon. Like seriously Kabam? How is it I run through an entire expert story with nothing but skill, then get to the final path and NONE of my bots even get to land a single blow before they get basically one shotted and knocked out. I’m not gonna keep pouring money into this game. At this point skill doesn’t even matter. Half the time I swipe to dodge or backstep it either doesn’t register at all, or it registers too late and I get unfairly penalized for something that wasn’t even my fault. So unless you have money and a crap ton of Energon to keep pouring into the game, prepare for one hell of a frustrating time. ✓ Not worth the frustrationThe game crashes VERY often. When playing areas (fighting against other player in an AI mode) the game has been crashing 6-10 times per hour. When this happens you sometimes will loose a fight and a reward streak through no fault of your own. In group missions, when the game crashes you will lose 50% of your health and the opening is restored to 100%. Kabam has repeatedly ignored player comments about this in Discord. They are trying to host a fun game, but they appear unable to fix the crashes, which have been ongoing for well over a month now. Kabam pretty much ignores player feedback in Discord. They have killed other games (like Star Wars Uprising) through mismanagement. It almost feels like they are in the process of killing another game. Don’t bother playing unless you like frustration. The graphics are cool and the gameplay can be fun, but only when it works and Kabam shows players they are valued not just a source of revenue..Version: 8.5.1

I quit playing after a couple months but came back because of Covid 19. But since returning I’ve noticed a number of little changes that remove a lot of the monotony. ✓ GreedyI really like this game, been playing since day one. It’s the only game on my phone and I’m on it all the time. The reason for my 1 star review is that Kabam is losing their minds. In the beginning everything was going awesome and it was well balanced and everyone was having a good time. Then the updates came and along with the updates came problems. As they tried to fix the problems more problems came. It’s like they pushed untested updates. Then comes the major update that EVERYONE hates, it’s when they drastically reduce the output of gold, the most valuable resource in the game because you need it for everything. They say play arenas to get it but you get at most 15k gold from a days work compared to 50k-90k a day from before. So if you get around 10k of gold a day and a bot cost 50k to upgrade, that’s 5 days for one bot. New players good luck, us veterans are just sitting on ore, which is also used for upgrading bots. Yeah we could sell it but we just lose all that we worked for and have gold with no ore. You need gold and ore to upgrade. So we have a problematic game with little to no resources for advancement, this was a stupid move that was made and it pleases no one..Version: 7.2.0

✓ The Lag😡🤬Ok I like the fighting mechanic, the graphics for a mobile game is great, great volume of bots.....overall it CAN be fun.......those elements alone is the only reason why I don’t put a one star rate.......but what really irritates me about this game is the lagging......I thought maybe it was cell connection or internet....but I have really high speed internet......the game will run smooth....then bam it turns into stop motion animation with .25 to sometimes .5 second delays from lag......it’s never going to get fixed because KABAM doesn’t seem to work or maintain this game enough to keep the game smooth......I am not the only one with this issue....there is a whole community that talks about it......the longest i have ever played without lag surprisingly was about 4-6 weeks.....I’ve had this game since day 1.....of course I do play “contest of champions” more....and naturally that is KABAM’s flag ship game.....Forged to Fight just takes the back seat......so try it out, try to enjoy it but just beware the game does not run that smooth and it becomes frustrating......it is almost geared for forced to pay or don’t complete 🤬🤬🤬.Version: 8.1.3

✓ Great!Love the game as a general way to pass time, but wish it was a little more diverse in characters: ie, Transformers prime characters, Transformers: The last knight characters. I also find it a little hard to get actual new bots, as I often just get mods, and not even new ones. This irritates me a lot as Soundwave is my favourite character and I was one ‘click’ off getting him in a crystal but instead got Jetfire :(.Version: 8.4.3
✓ This game used to be funI’ve been playing since day 1. There’s bugs that have been known for a couple of years now and they haven’t been fixed. For instance, when you swipe a certain direction it doesn’t always go in that direction. I’ve been hit with a combo and even KO’d from this issue. Spinning crystals is consistent. I had my wife open crystals for me one time and what it looked like it was about to land on slid at the last second, but it usually doesn’t slid at that point and it’s most times pretty good. My wife noticed it and asked why I play a game that cheats. In the last year I’ve noticed my projectiles don’t always hit my opponent when they’re right in front of me. Other times I’ve gotten hit by opponents projectiles and I’m not even in line with where they’re firing. They’ve recently improved the AI skills and since that change I’ve noticed that there’s a hesitation between my combo and my special which wasn’t there before. Kabam in their lack of effort to fix different issues has caused a lot of good players quit the game. I’m almost at that point. And as for the bots, what you see is all there’ll ever be. ✓ Transformers themed slot machineBasically a slot machine game that you pump actual real world dollars into without any real world possibility of winning. Energon Cubes are the name of the game. Every repetitive game mode steers you towards one goal: buy more energon. Cool new masteries system! Oh wait, if you want to use the skill points you just earned by ranking up you have to spend premium currency for an icon that unlocks the skill. If it was a buy once game that you actually progressed by EARNING or time invested it would absolutely be a 4 star game. I regret spending a dollar (let alone $70 I'm embarrassed to admit) on the "chance" to spin a wheel and get infinite duplicates. Graphics and bot design are phenomenal. The game is absolutely repetitive but you forget because it's so cool to play. However it dawns on you that your nostalgia is being preyed upon. How bad do you want to break up the monotony by playing with Grimlock or Starscream? $5 doesn't even get you ONE PULL. I'm not kidding. ✓ Plagued with bugsAs much as I enjoy this game when it works, I can’t recommend it in its present state. It seems like they’ve never quite gotten the hang of the latest version of iOS. A problem which seems specific to iOS users is a stubborn loading screen. Sometimes, you can hear a battle happening, but only see the loading screen instead of the fight you’re supposed to be a part of. Even though you can’t see what’s going on, your Transformer responds when you tap and swipe the screen, so at least you’re not completely helpless. In general, updates may or may not fix well-known issues, and often introduce new problems. For example, a new bug that just showed up in he latest update is an occasional inability to scroll, which is especially fun when you’re trying to do something like manage your inventory. If something you want is off screen, you may need to restart the game in order to get to it. Yay! The loading screen bug has been around for over a month. It should have been fixed by now, but hasn’t, which is why I’m finally writing this review. If you’re looking for an entertaining game, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a frustrating experience, this is the app for you!.Version: 4.0.1

✓ Good game, that’s so greedyThis is a fun game once you figure out all of its nuances. It can be hard to get into because of all the different currencies that are available for use and purchase. That seems almost deliberate by the developer who is trying to squeeze out money from the player at almost every turn. I’ve been playing mobile games for almost 10 years now and I have never came across some more greedy franchise then the Transformers games. It’s a shame because it’s clearly playing off of the nostalgia of their long time fans. After you get past all the greed it’s a pretty decent game. Good graphics, a good filing system for mobile game, and a lot to do makes it a lot of fun to play daily. Also the game needs to be optimize for iOS 11, game runs terrible on the iPad Pro and has issues on the new iPhone 8..Version: 3.1.0
✓ Characters and modesIt’s a great game with a great roster of characters, but there are some issues in the previously mentioned roster. There’s also a new mode I want to address. Characters: we’ve got 2 TLK characters, but only one AOE character. Personally I think you should change this by adding AOE lockdown. I also think you should add TFP cliffjumper, smokescreen, ratchet, arcee, soundwave, shockwave, and predaking. I wanted to do 4 autobots and 4 decepticons, but I figured that would be to much. And for the icing on the cake, you should add TFA bulkhead, prowl, ratchet, thundercracker, Skywarp, and wasp. Now, as for the mode I mentioned earlier, I think you should add a PVP 1v1 quick match. Yeah it’s pretty simple, but I think every fighting game needs this mode, yet this fighting game lacks that, which is quite saddening and makes the game feel really underwhelming..Version: 5.2.0
