Poorly designedShould display the company routes, instead asks you to enter where to go (to the office… please just show all company routes). When you try to search for them you come up empty with a vague message - buses might have departed for the day. I get that but why not pre-configure all routes and then show to the user what the times are for those routes, capacity and availability. Like any public transportation works. This shouldn’t behave like a route planner and if that’s the goal of this app my company might have chosen the wrong app for the purpose. Might update once our busses resume and this app displays more than blank pages..Version: 71

Drivers Great - Dispatch not so MuchThe drivers always make the best effort, working long hours to get people to work on time and assure a clean interior. The dispatch on the other hand has on several occasions now shown an inability in basic time and route management. We have had people going to ‘building A’ put into different vehicles, while being put into vehicles that make them late AND are going to ‘building C’ in the opposite direction. While simultaneously taking another rider to ‘building A’ on time, who didn’t need to be at that building, but ‘building B’ which was much closer to ‘building C’! Which also made the rider going to ‘building C’ late, because that car went to ‘building A’ first. Not to mention, they tried to tell that driver to go to ‘building D’ before dropping off their previous rider at ‘building C’..Version: 93

Hey Google: stop using TripShot for GBusesSearch results highlight the most convoluted possible routes. Hey y’all, if there are buses that go directly from my bus stop to my destination, I want to know about those. I don’t really care that I also have the option to walk 15 minutes to another stop, then take three separate buses to get to my destination. (I am not exaggerating - this is the top result of my search.) I also don’t want a result for every bus stop on a given line within a mile radius. I picked a stop. That’s the one I want to board at. Also, if a route involves walking to stop, it isn’t clear if the start time is when I start walking, or when I get on the bus. I honestly cannot find this information. In other words, this app spectacularly fails to deliver the most basic functionality. Doesn’t help that two buses never materialized and I ended up standing outside for 45 minutes, but even if that part isn’t TripShot’s fault, I still give the app 1 star. Another reviewer described this app as a constant uphill battle. I couldn’t have said it better. Can we ditch TripShot and use Transit instead?.Version: 82

Very confusingI just want the app to show me the next favorite route departing from the stop closest to me. Or to quickly select one of the favorite routes/times. This needs to happen immediately when I launch the app. Instead it seems to require a lot of clicking and navigating every time. It’s quite hard to explain but the app never does what I want and is always quite a hassle to make it show me the route I need..Version: 54.1

Room for improvement99% of the time there are only two routes I care about. Getting to work and coming back. Yet to see the times of those two routes requires 3 slow taps, even though I’ve already favorited it. It wouldn’t be hard to learn (or for me to set) which route I care about in the morning vs afternoon and make getting to the schedule 1 click. There is a “My Trips” section, but it is blank and there is no guidance on how to record my trip. I wish there was a Watch app so I could see how far away my bus was, but that would require the app to actually know which bus I care about, which it doesn’t. Worst UI updateButtons at the bottom are gone. It is very frustrating to use this app. There is a very small windows of time where the bus arrives at a stop and we board the bus. There is no time for switching to the new pay panel and then search for near by busses. Now I have to tap thrice to do anything in this app. Do you want to see where the bus is on the maps— press three or four times to get into the screen. When you are in hurry, it becomes frustrating to do so many number of user interactions. Please have a goal of making it even easier to get into different panels..Version: 1.40

Used to be my go toUsed to use this over the app my company provides, but the recent update that moved how you change the date pushed me away. Before, it was a couple tolerable but annoying steps to check schedules on Sunday for Monday. Now it’s a few more steps and not worth it..Version: 1.29

Would be great if it works as it shouldHelpful but only goes so far. Notifications are not particularly reliable. It'll notify once if the shuttle is running late but does not notify during any subsequent/further delays. So, unless, you're actively tracking the shuttle/bus on the map, you may have to wait for an excess of 20 minutes at the stop..Version: 1.30.1

Worst UX design of any transit appNon-intuitive design leaves the stranding passenger not knowing how to properly schedule a bus to pickup their family. Standing here trying to figure it out myself as 5 other families have no idea how to use the app, followed by being yelled at by a driver if one person is successful…. The UX director for this app needs to be fired along with the Product Manager and/or VP that approved the design..Version: 72

MehI work at Tesla and only use it to see when the shuttle will arrive, but what it needs is a way to contact the drivers directly, in case something is left on the bus, or to see if anything went wrong so I can call my supervisor and tell him why I’ll be late.... if I could get help with this, 5 star..Version: 1.34

Update makes the experience worseThis app used to provide good utility. It opened to the Trip Planner screen with my defaults populated. Now it’s an additional tap away. Even worse, the cold start time is noticeably slower as a result of showing the map first. Extra tap and longer wait before I’m able to tap. Objectively worse. Don’t trust the delay alertsI keep getting alerts that my bus is delayed, only to later get a “catching up” note that my bus will be on time. It’s a good thing I’ve learned not to listen to the delays and leave my house later - otherwise, I’d be constantly missing my bus..Version: 1.42

Delayed tripsWe are unable to schedule the ride, and the ride arrival is getting delayed frequently, and the delay time is from 20mins to 40mins, and the drivers are cancelling it without any reason. Especially driver named Akhil, he is not arriving by time and cancelling the rides at last minute without any proper reason. As an international student in Saint Louis, it’s very difficult for us to travel at night times, and after the heavy 8hrs shift of on campus jobs, we are getting tired and the slu rides are getting delayed or cancelled, it’s very frustrating..Version: 93

First off would love to thank this poorly managed app for taking over the apps beforehand.You guys have made a simple ticket system into a mess of an app where it took 20-30 minutes to find out how it even works. Got wrong informationI use The Grid and the app pointed the use bus on Route B and when I got to the bus the driver pointed out that I should be on a Route A bus. Kinda pointless to have the app if I need to get the correct information from the drivers..Version: 1.41

Absolutely ridiculousTook 20 mins just to figure out how to properly use the app. Buses show up when they want, 20-40 mins after requested time. Sometimes cannot even get a bus leaving you wondering if a driver will let you on. I’m not sure what was so wrong with the previous system but this new one is a complete joke. ART needs to go back to routine routes and schedules for tourists. Forcing passengers to stand out in the rain or heat without being able to schedule a ride is outrageous..Version: 76

Poorly DesignedThe shuttles usually end up arriving 10-15 minutes later than when they tell you they are going to arrive, some inputs don’t save and you have to remember to input them every time you use the app, the don’t show you the routes, you just see the buses moving in random directions on the map. Should be free with how poor it is..Version: 73

Where is the real time status?I found my route and all it shows is the schedule. it should show a map with the bus location. I have accidentally stumbled upon the real-time status feature once or twice but I honestly cant find it now. It seems like a no brainer to show it on the same page as the route. Also, there needs to be a favorites section. I don't want to run a search every time I want to see the status of my shuttle..Version: 1.48

Too hard to get to the favorite stops screenUpdate: taking off another star for the new offensively purple icon. My company has an internal app I can use on my work phone, and I like having this one on my personal phone. Unfortunately, updates have made this app much harder to use. I take the same route every day, and it used to be quick and easy to see the upcoming shuttles at my stop. Now I have to tap around to try to get back to the favorites under the trip planner screen. Horrible at its main job.I have missed my bus soooooo many times because believe it or not you cannot see the schedule from specific stop. It always shows you all busses to all nearby stops making things confusing and hard to plan. Annoyed with inefficient routingMy company uses tripshot for shuttle service to commute to work. The evening shuttle route to go back home is very inefficient. Even if no one is getting down at a particuler stop, it takes everyone on the shuttle to that stop. This makes no sense as everyone on the shuttle ends up wasting time. In our case its adds delay of about 30mins. Its a bummer to work for a tech company and relying on such poor navigation to commute to work. I have brought this to the notice of commute team and the explanation received from Tripshot is that for the ETA to be correct the shuttle needs to go to every single stop on the route even if no one is getting down. Who cares about ETA if everyone is reaching home 30mins late. Hope tripshot can correct this. Another area in which tripshot can improve its suggest routes based on ridership data. The route should be optimized for stops where more riders are getting down..Version: 93

One of the most badly designed apps everIt provides incredibly convoluted interfaces which don't ever seem to do what they were designed for..Version: 54.1

No thought put into experienceIt’s unfortunate that such a useful service requires such a frustrating and poorly designed experience. I consider my self a tech savvy person and it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to actually call a ride. There are no obvious calls to action and you have to dig through multiple menus to find anything. Bummer..Version: 70

New icon, same crappy experienceTripshot has one of the most unintuitive user experiences I’ve had to put up with. Every action is an uphill battle and takes several taps to achieve. Now they have a new icon and silly me thought “they finally hired a UX designer”. Lol nope. Even the new icon is crappy if you look closely; it’s super low quality. Sign Up not happeningSince when is @gmail.com not a valid email extension? I keep trying to sign up and it keeps telling me my email is invalid, so. . . screw this app. I’ll sign up with an app that works..Version: 93

Will not load my passThis app is absolute trash. I have had issues loading my pass literally every day I’ve used the app. I’ve almost not been able to make it home because the app will not load my pass. Requiring Bluetooth AND an internet connection to find the correct bus and load a pass is absurd. I have a monthly pass and should be able to access it any time anywhere regardless of Bluetooth or internet connection..Version: 50
