✓ Don’t botherThe game itself is fantastic but there are multiple downfalls: * got to Year 56 in sandbox mode with auto saved turned on, yet the game closed itself. Upon relaunching, it had not saved. So much time wasted. * the object limit is an absolute joke. You get such a large area, but can barely fill 25% of it. * the range of flat rides in the game are minimal The game is very good, but honestly with the game not being updated anymore, and these issues unlikely to be resolved, don’t bother downloading. Better off using a PC and spending money on Planet Coaster - a much better and more reliable game than this joke..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Be WearyI have had a lot of fun with this port over the years, but it can be quite unpredictable. I just lost the save of a park that I worked on for a week, and I didn’t do anything to cause it; I just opened the app and it was gone. I don’t know why it happened, and it’s really one of the few issues I’ve had with the game (which is weird, because parks I made several years ago were still saved, yet this one just disappeared). Other than that it works well enough, and if you enjoy the premise it’s worth a shot; just be careful..Version: 1.0.4
✓ One of the better RCT games available on mobile but…TL:DR, save your money and maybe get RCT classic Let me just preface this by saying, this is probably much more faithful to the better days of the RCT series than the awful ones developed specifically for mobile, (like RCT touch, 4 mobile and god forbid, RCT story) but if it was up to me, I’d pay a few dollars extra to get RCT classic instead. This one just doesn’t really do it for me. It’s an older mobile port and that shows. It’s locked in 16:9 or maybe 4:3 (haven’t played it on iPad yet), but that means on any iPhone newer than the iPhone X, that you get these awful sidebars because of the aspect ratio difference. The controls on this port also feel confusing. I couldn’t figure out how to place more than one queue line without getting stuck and needing to back out of at least one menu. The object movement controls feel clunky and the camera controls are a bit odd. Additionally, if you really want to play RCT3 specifically, you can get RCT3 complete on steam or even Nintendo switch and that will be a much better option than this..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Love it but object limit is a killer!Spent ages building a couple of "amazing" rides, started getting my park looking great and then hit the "object limit." I'd only used about ¼ of the play area as well! Disappointing, but I guess there's a reason, as it was beginning to lag anyway. ✓ Screen fittingI’ve had this game for many years and I have gone to play the game it’s absolutely brilliant but as time has gone by unfortunately the game screen looks small now as I have the 11 pro max and would like it if the game covered my whole screen and not just some of the screen.Version: 1.0.4
✓ A fun, but now outdated and unnecessary portFor an earlier iOS port, it’s not too bad. The graphics remain the same for the most part, the performance is decent, and the gameplay is largely intact. However, unfortunately it’s now a version of the game I no longer recommend buying because 1. RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is way better when it comes to optimization and features, and 2. there’s now a better RCT3 port with RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition on the Nintendo Switch. Not only does that one control better and perform better than the original release, but it also has the “Soaked!” and “Wild!” expansions included, unlike the iOS version which has none of that implemented to begin with. Make no mistake though, this is a good port for its time, but nowadays, it’s easy to skip over unless you want to get as many versions of RCT1, 2 and 3 as possible. It is often times cheaper than the Complete Edition though, so if you want to try this to get a feel for the full experience, then by all means go ahead, but just keep in mind that the Complete Edition is a far superior experience. I do recommend getting this if you’re a diehard fan of RCT3 though, and if you want to have another device to play it on..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Hmm.. could be betterI paid for this game for it to be said that it's exactly same as the computer. 3 rides and some decoration on sandbox to be told limit is near.. I have made 8 parks cos limit is about a 10th of the space given.. why so much space if only a small amount is allowed to be built?! Come on bring an update out for us to use all the space like the computer, specially if your charging a 4.99 when the game on steam for laptop is 3.79. gets me really quite frustrated as 3 rides is aloud of crap for the space you get.. 5* if more room is added.. park looks empty. ✓ Wish there was more....To ATARI and rct fans...I wish I could do more then place rides. I WISH the wild and soaked expansion packs were included. It gets boring fast. To those who haven't downloaded it yet....you get everything that the basic rct3 computer version has but you cant make scenarios (u get the sandbox and career "mode".), no saving coasters and they barely give you enough. You can make them but cant use them again. And you cant move them if u need run out of space u have to delete and start over. Can't save buildings you make either. Cant make peep groups, see below. TO ATARI: please fix the fact that we arent able to raise the que path. As soon as I touch the que path the "raise" and "lower"goes away. I have to make the exit path then switch to que path. When using the delete option I can't move the screen to delete more somewhere else in the park. ✓ BugsOverall great game to put this on an iPhone is nothing short of amazing. I remember when no one I know could run this on their PC. Now it's in my hands and it runs amazingly. There are a lot of bugs though most are minor and you wouldn't really notice them. However to big ones are track running into a boundary or object brings up a message of "You cannot place the track there" then nothing you cannot tap on anything, essentially crashing the game. The second path editor paths don't always connect to where they are intended especially with slopes. I would also like to mention that doing a ride with multiple stations doesn't always yelled the player to place the appropriate amount of entrances and exits. It took a fare amount of manipulation to get the game to recognize I was missing the eliments..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Really wish they would update: DO NOT BUY2020: “This is a great port of a classic game. Only problem is it’s running a version from over 3 years ago and doesn’t support the wider aspect ratio of the newer iPhones. Really hoping my favorite Tycoon game of all time gets some love soon!” Edit: After almost another 2 years, there is no hope for this port anymore, and honestly, should be removed from the store if they aren’t going to support it any longer. Just not worth any money at this point, 5 years later. If they just updated it to fill the screen and added the DLC, even if we have to pay extra for it, this would be a fantastic version to play on the go. ✓ Worth the $$If you’re looking to bring back that nostalgic feeling of coming home from school & hoping on your PC to play RCT3: Expansion Pack then this is definitely the game for you . Full game for a reasonable price. $20+ game now less than $5 ofcourse it doesn’t include expansion but its a phone version so im ok w that. HOWEVER, as good as it is here are the few flaws: you can’t buy more land in the career mode which makes it extremely difficult to succeed in the objectives. Also, the most talked about “park limit” that exists even in sandbox mode (headache) & finally I just wish frontier would update the game who knows what Flaws they could find within just curating different levels it could even bring back the whole RCT3 franchise and just do mobile gaming. ✓ Could be betterIt's amazing it's so easy and good but there is some issues that is that it doesn’t have the same coasters as the pc version and you can’t get the water park with it it would be a huge improvement if they upgraded it just seems like they have give up and after a while it gets boring if I would of noticed this I wouldn’t waste my money on it and you shouldn’t it’s expensive and boring so I would probably pay around£1.50 not four pounds and a lot of good features have been taken off it like you can’t enclose the raft coasters and you have to unlock different versions of the ride I would give this a five star if it had all of these features back and the waterpark version and all of the rides from pc because I can’t afford a computer so I wouldn’t really recommend buying this game and I am very disappointed as it was so good before it was perfect and now it’s rubbish so creators please fix this so it’s better because it semis like you have given up on this game 😕.Version: 1.0.4

✓ Mostly goodFirst thing I want to say is don’t get me wrong I really like RCT3. Let me tell you my thoughts. This game is mostly good (as I say in the title) it has good tycoon graphics, and it’s fun to play. But also, this game has this weird feature I like to call “disabling building things and ruining all your fun” basically for about 5-10 times a message pops up saying that you are getting close to the park limit, by the way they say this in sandbox mode which means it not a sandbox. After it had enough saying your getting close to the limit of this park, it finally says “park full building has been disabled”. I definitely think PC/mac version is better. ✓ Object limit!😤😤😤Such a great game and very similar to the pc version, yet lacks the safari and water park expansions, but is still great to play, the sandbox feature being a highlight. However, being imaginatively capped due to the object limit is tedious and I fail to understand why it is there, the pc version allows you to build without restrictions, where as here once the limit is reached building is prohibited, a real downer which discredits the game massively. From looking at older comments I see how this has been an issue since the games release on the App Store and is still an annoyance to this day, please please fix it!!!.Version: 1.0.4

✓ Lag is absurdOnce your park gets big enough, it becomes unplayable. I tried multiple time, deleted and redownloaded the app, made sure it was the only thing running, but still it lags violently. I noticed it kicks in once your park is big enough and you play for about 3 minutes and your phone heats up. ✓ Done with the Flaws2 stars for at least giving me a bit of nostalgia. The poor rating is mostly due to the flaws that ive encountered thus far. Albeit its only been a few... but i havent really been playing that long. I mean what are the odds that ill encounter most of this game’s flaws within the 2 hours of gameplay? Ill bet those odds are pretty low, ill also venture to bet that this game is riddled with them. Speculation, of course, but i’m not willing to invest more time to find out if im right or wrong. I’m already dissatisfied and feel like i need my money back. Just for reference, the things that ive found thus far: •River Rapids Coaster... you can make an incline, but after that youre not given the option to plateau. So you go up, but you could never come down... thus preventing you from completing a track. •Water Coaster... might as well be a steel mini coaster because the “water” features of this coaster are not an option. There were some other flaws i found when creating paths, but i stopped caring after that. This game is shoddy and im done. ✓ Keeps crashing ******AVOID******This is a joke, 3rd time my park has been completely wiped and replaced by an old saved file, no matter how many times I select the auto save button. There's no option to save in game either. Won't be building another park or buying anymore games if you can't get the basics right. The fact that you can't take your saved data with you either from device to device is rubbish. Loads my game centre account. May have been worth giving Atari my money and brought the in app purchases for add ons. At least you can then take your park on multiple devices. So far I need my iPad Pro, iPhone 7 and old Skool gen 2 ipad. Can't carry my iPad Pro around all the time, that's just stupid..Version: 1.0.4

✓ It's fun but pathing is infuriating!It's generally a great port as that game has been unchanged, no micro transactions, solid graphics etc. There are 2 major issues however, which can be quite frustrating. Firstly and most importantly, the pathing (i.e. creating paths) is awful. If the ground is uneven or elevated it just doesn't work half the time and can be really fiddly to fix. If you have a part-finished path that is mid-air or underground, good luck finishing that as unlike with rollercoasters, you can't select the end piece and automatically continue building from there. Instead, you have to try to line up a new piece exactly next to it at exactly the right height which again is so fiddly to do with touch controls. This is a bigger issue than you might think as any park that's not built on a flat sandbox will require you to build paths in this way and you'll spend more time fiddling with them than building fun coasters. Secondly, lag. Smaller parks are ok but once you get up to 600+ people with terrain, scenery and verticality of paths and rides it can become quite slow and unresponsive. Somewhat to be expected though so is forgivable. Overall, fix the pathing and this could be 4 or even 5 stars..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Need to add a guest limiterThe game is great it is just like the pc version and riding the rides is really smooth and not laggy but the guests are a real issue when you get above 600 guests it gets slow and if you get higher than 650 guests the game is unusable it becomes very laggy and is very hard to build rollercoasters and ride them as the experience is very choppy because of the lag caused by the guests so until the developers add a guest limiter to either the main settings or the Park management I will not give them 4 or five stars.Version: 1.0.4

✓ Love the Game But "Park Full"I love the game, used it years ago and was so excited to come across this however' the "Sandbox" mode is not a "Sandbox" mode. I can't even get 1/4 of the park done and it states "Park Full" and I can no longer build anything. If there are limits then don't have all the space to build in available and tell people what they are. I have tried twice with the same result. I read water falls can cause issues if there are too many, second time I did not have any and all I could get done was 3 transport rides, 1 coaster, and 3-4 thrill rides and I could not do anything further. Beyond disappointed with Atari and this mobile product. Would be awesome if it could be fixed.....Version: 1.0.4
✓ Saving multiple Sanboxes doesn't work properlyThis game is supposed to allow creation of 3 seperate sandboxes (3 save slots). On my iPad Air, you can create them, but try keeping them. If you create a new sandbox with a different park name, shortly afterwards any in other save slots will be lost, because it overwrites them with saves of the current park. Regardless of wether you have auto saved ticked or not in the park options it still does it. It should keep each sandbox confined to the same slave slot that it was created, and stop increment save files..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Buggy as soon as I purchase itHonestly the classic version is way better. I just purchased this thinking it would be an awesome game but as soon as I start playing it I noticed a ton of bad things. Most of the buttons do not even work which make it hard to navigate through the game. Buttons like deleting a path or even just pausing the game are totally frozen. While I do not see any crashing, I do see a ton of other bugs. I noticed this game is hardly ever updated like only once a year which is not a good look. Makes me wonder if the developers even listen to their customers. Also I would love to buy the expansion packs so please make this option available down the road. ✓ NostalgiaI love having this on mobile I loved this growing up and definitely put a lot of time into the game. However, it needs a lot of patching. Select rides don’t have properly finishing tracks and capabilities. One of the water rides can’t go back down after going up, some of the rides that have enclosed tubes / track extras won’t work when you build them. It needs a lot of optimization. There’s a lot that has been overlooked for this app version. It’s great having it so I really hope it gets support and updates ☺️.Version: 1.0.4
✓ Nostalgic fun but lacking some featuresOverall it is a great port, but I miss the peer groups, firework shows, the ability to choose music for each ride, and the other little things that make up the original game, including the VIP guests. I just completed the Box Office theme park in career mode and was looking forward to Cami O.'s visit and was disappointed when she didn't come! Also, I am having an issue when I try to go back from a menu by touching the blue arrow in the left and it won't respond to my touch... ✓ Amazing but has issuesThis game has an amazing concept and brings out the creativity and imagination in all of us. I can customize rides, shops, and many more to my heart’s content. I would love to rate this game 4 stars, even 5! However, there are a bunch of issues. One is that this game will delete some of your theme parks in Sandbox Mode every time you save a new park. I have created a very nice park that my family really enjoys but after I made a new theme park, it deleted the park and duplicated the new park. This is very annoying and irritating because I worked very hard on the park. Another issue is the “Park Full” thing in the game. I don’t know if it’s based on the “peeps” or the park’s attractions but it is very frustrating as it disables building. When I leave the game and come back it still says “Park Full”. Lastly I feel like this game needs an update on the themes and paths. Making queue lines are annoying when it connects to the entrance and it breaks apart. I can’t even raise the paths when I need it. Also when I try to put trash cans, lights, etc. on elevated paths it will block me from doing so. ✓ Could be great.....Would be great as there is no shortage of things to do or items to place....however the object limit on sandbox mode is really irritating....I bought the game for the sandbox mode (to just be able to play unlimited and with unlimited funds....however I can't even build a quarter of the differently themed areas of my park that I'd started enjoying, before my object limit was up. So I was left with miles of green park left to build on yet couldn't place any more items. Why can't I build as much as I like and use the whole field instead of a tiny piece? After all, I paid for the game. Seems silly to have such a brilliant amount of rides/ shops/ decorations/ stalls etc and yet only be able to build a handful of each. ✓ No iCloud supportMy phone crashed and had to restore my phone entirely, and as a result I lost my game data because it doesn’t have iCloud. Hours and days of work gone. Also, when you save a new park in sandbox mode it overwrites some of your other parks which is awful if you work hard on one park and gets deleted. I’m just really upset to be honest. :( Old review:THANK YOU FOR THIS GAME. I used to play it as a kid all the time and I absolutely am in love with it. But we would love to see the wild and soaked expansion packs. I'm really missing all the animals in the game. Adding the expansion packs would make the rating to a 5 star, easily. Last night I made a really good park and pressed exit which usually saves the game and this morning I opened the app looked for the park and to my annoyance it had gone. I thought at first that maybe I had not saved it but it was happening to all of my parks. ✓ Object limit!!Great game i agree with what others say, it runs just ok but does get laggy as the park gets bigger, (iphone 6) Then just as things get interesting and your parks starting to look good u get a warning for object limit, which is really disappointing, i had used about a quarter of the area given to us and thats it, All that space i can't use! Also no custom scenarios what u can use a sandbox but without unlimited money, Sandbox is boring and no point to it with earning money.Version: 1.0.4

✓ Don’t waste your moneyLiterally terrible. In sandbox mode it automatically deletes my previous parks if I create a new park. I can’t have more than 2 parks in sandbox mode without it doing this. ✓ Great game… remove object limit.Was really getting into this game until I realised I couldn’t finish building my park, in face I barely started building my park and there’s an object limit. ✓ A few things fixed = AMAZING GAME! Now, it’s mediocre.I used to love this game. I would play it all the time. Until I found out about Planet Coaster. After I found out about Planet Coaster, I looked back at this game and really saw that it had many things to fix. Just a second ago, I was building an awesome coaster until I was just about finished and the end track was barely even touching the station. I went back and lowered it, but it was still not connecting! Even auto-correct couldn’t complete it! I was so frustrated! I worked on this coaster for such a long time! It was going to be the greatest coaster at the park. Though this doesn’t happen often, it’s a real pain in the neck. This isn’t a terrible problem, but I think that this game is a little out dated. There are a lot of modern coaster models, like RMC Raptor, RMC Hybrid, B and M Giga, etc. that aren’t in the game! If they did a little update to fix these two little things, I would give this a 4.7 stars. (Five on actual App Store since you can’t do decimals.).Version: 1.0.4
