✓ Great game but too expensiveIt is great fun designing rooms and seeing the finished result. However just like most of the other reviews this game is too expensive. To buy one pot plant that you can only use 4 times is 1100 diamonds and as you only get 500 diamonds a day and most rooms require 2 plants you can see how you can go through the money quickly. I understand it is about making money but I think that there needs to be more opportunities within the game to earn diamonds. Also re voting I get very annoyed when a boys room wins when it is full of pink and flowers. I believe voting should be based on the criteria not just on how the room looks. ✓ Too many bugs latelyI have a new IPad Pro and expected the game to work flawlessly. However, whenever the game posts scores, it freezes, and as others have said, I need to reload the game, which sometimes results in losing progress if I am designing a room. I have learned to work around this. I realize that there is an immense amount of data, and having played this for years, I have collected a lot of furniture, etc, which may be a part of the problem. But it does seem to happen at specific times of day, which is no coincidence. Also, does anyone else think some of the descriptions of the rooms/areas to be decorated are going too far? One of the latest ones, which is a transition party for a daughter who is transitioning apparently from one sex to another, is too much for me, and I feel uncomfortable playing the game because it conflicts with my values and beliefs. I do not understand why that information is necessary for a design game. I love this game, but do not appreciate being indoctrinated or preached to, which seems like a slap in the face to players of the game who believe as I do. I know that is not the intention, but I would hope the game designers realize not everyone is on the same page on every issue. Changing your algorithm so many times that it screws up your loyal players. Explain to me how the designers who spend money and score highly keep going up against and voting for 3 star designs? ✗ Could be betterThis game could be so much more enjoyable. The rooms you are supposed to decorate have certain things like wall colour, curtains, light fixtures and other things already in the rooms. The game designers choose these to have a very particular look, so only a very small number of all the different furniture on offer will go well in that room. So basically, they give you a new room, that none of your existing furniture will go in, then they release a small collection of new stuff, that WILL work in the room, but you have to buy it all. This means that a) if you want to get a high score, you must always be buying new items from the small selection they put on sale that actually GO with that room. B) you are very limited creatively, instead of designing a room using your own creativity, you are instead just putting in the items that the game developers have already chosen to go in that room. There’s very little scope to use your own taste, style or creativity. The game isn’t that fun. The people who get the high scores are the ones who have followed the cues from the game developers, used the same predictable furnishings on offer, and presumably used in app purchases so they can buy all the new and best furniture, released especially to go in the new rooms.
