OverchargedI was promised a price and they didn’t honour it. They didn’t communicate that the billing would change. I was charged $507 for 1 month use of their software that I cannot afford. I’ll switch over to HouseCall Pro because the equivalent with them is only $175. Texting my customer should be standard in all subscriptions like HouseCall Pro includes..Version: 5.67.0

Great online software, terrible appWe are really loving what Jobber has to offer with the website format. That being said, the app rarely works and we often to have call or screenshot things to send to our crew. Also, most customers aren’t getting invoiced once job is closed (even though that option is chosen). It doesn’t show up on our reports as an unpaid balance because the invoice never went through. It just sits there until we catch it. I had a customer who hadn’t been successfully invoiced in three weeks but we thought invoices were going through. We didn’t even catch it because he didn’t have a balance show up. Overall, app stinks and often just shows a solid white screen..Version: 4.4.0

Needs to be updated properlySince the revamp of the interface I’ve had nothing but problems with the app loading the old interface rather than the newly updated one. Have to close the app MULTIPLE times just for it to work. Not the biggest deal as the app is still functional but more of a nuisance as I have to close and re-open it constantly..Version: 5.15.0

No notificationsNew team member and jobs get assigned to me but you don’t send notifications so I don’t know I have been assigned a job. I freelance for different companies so I need to know so I can schedule them in my diary. Useless..Version: 5.25.0

LimitedAlthough there are some great things about Jobber the limitations of it is surprising they haven’t included it. In the app there is no way to view job request or clients unless searching for them, such a big shortfall.Version: 4.4.0

Jobber website better than the appI really like Jobber, but as far as the iPhone app goes, I can’t give it more than three stars. The reason being, the most important thing I use the app for is to be able to take phone calls on the go, do scheduling, etc. I wish it had a better calendar view, I don’t like that you pretty much have to manually click on every date to see when there are availabilities. I also wish it had a notes section. I find myself writing my notes from phone calls out on paper, then adding them to jobber later or when I get home, which kind of defeats the purpose of having an app. Please make the app geared toward management as well! Update: I’ve lowered my review to two stars after months of using this. It has potential, but it is not user friendly and is really making my job harder. The guys can’t figure out how to use it in the field even though we’ve showed them over and over again, and it’s next to impossible to accomplish anything as a manager for billing in the app. And if I want to schedule a visit for an existing job, why can’t I do it from the calendar? Why do I have to click on ten different things just to accomplish one task? This app needs streamlined and simplified. It also needs the option to do progress invoicing. Not a “deposit”, but actual progress invoicing for when each draw is completed. I will be looking for a different alternative for my scheduling needs..Version: 4.93.0

Lots of issues on appVery frustrating using this app on my iPad. Continues to freeze when I would input pricing on a line item (did this 3 times in a row) so I deleted the app and re-downloaded it. Now I can’t type my email/password in. It’s like my Bluetooth keyboard doesn’t work but when I open up a web browser it works totally fine. I have also found some buttons on the app don’t work when using the touchscreen.. I pretty much avoid using the app and go directly through a web browser to log into Jobber which I definitely should not have to. Hopefully this app gets fixed..Version: 5.13.0

Just use the web browser version.This app is bad. I am decently happy with Jobber in general for my business. However there is far less functionality in the app compared to using a web browser. Also, something keeps happening where in the app I will be stuck on a page, with no way to navigate away from it, and the only solution is to fully delete the app and reinstall it. Bring back the earlier version (Pre Oct 2022)Jobber, I have been a loyal customer to your app for many years, but for some crazy reason you decided to update the 'Job' & 'Visit' view/layout on your lastest update of the iPhone App. (Why reinvent the wheel?!) My team, including myself, have no clue anymore how to find important details to complete jobs, the new relocated 'notes' is hard to read and assign to other areas of the client profile, and overall eveything has now come too clicky! I have some clients with over 30 proeprties and I now have to scroll though all 30 to find the one I need! Overcharging customersStay far away!! This business is nothing but scam. Once they have your credit card they will charged you twice based on USD and once you ask for refund they will refund you based on your country's currency exchange rate. MisleadingIn order to try this app out, you need to create an account. Once you have done this, there is no way to delete an account. Also, this is most definitely NOT free, and it looks as though the subscription is a monthly one which would make this a very expensive solution to small start-ups or small businesses. App dumped very quickly as there are better and cheaper solutions available without the email harvesting element..Version: 4.33

Don’t do it!!This was the absolute worst business decision we could have possibly made using this app and syncing it with Quickbooks. The app automated somehow a TON of duplicate invalid invoices but with their own invoice numbers so QuickBooks didn’t catch it. The mess that the app created in our QuickBooks account was enough that it nearly put us under. Every customer account we had was upset and refusing to pay us for services rendered at all due to this phantom billing which made our business look unethical. We were barely able to keep our employees paid and business afloat by taking out a business loan to float the $64k that wasn’t being paid to us due to this issue. Not only that, but because we are a small business and dont have the time to sit behind the computer every day for weeks to research and fix the issues it created we lost more money not being able to be out in the field working. The app was supposed to free us up and help cut down on paper work and that is the exact opposite of what it did.Version: 3.88

Poorly Prpgrammed Platform That's Always ChangingA very Poorly Prpgrammed and Managed Platform That's Always Changing from one week to the next. Things startee off fine six months ago. However, when this faux CRM (cause it's not a CRM sustem as falsely advertised) is faced with dynamic or challenging client accounting issues or system bugs, you begin to discover that this is nothing more than an overrated and overpriced invoicing platform. They call themselves making"improvements" by stealing their clients intellectual property/ideas and making updates constantly, so much so one cannot keep up with all the tweaking and tampering. The platform and programming isn't remotely intuitive and the team has zero common sense. Ad some point we found ourselves working for Jobber though paying a monthly subscription; spending so much time on the phone with the trying to resolve their constant failures and lack of CRM functionality. The accounting and Financial reporting feature is a farce - programmers with absolutely NO UNDERSTANDING OF BASIC BOOKKEEPING or business processes..Version: 5.23.0

You Should Have Known Not Good App For FieldYou knew I was going to use Jobber in the field as an owner/operator. Only when I cancelled (after struggling with it for three months wasting $500) didI realize ALL the problems; and the rep who helped me cancel said she KNEW it wasn’t the best on the app/phone version. It froze SO MANY times, even after uninstalling/reinstalling. Nearly everything I did with it was very cumbersome. I’m back using Google Calendar and Quickbooks. Im so happy Jobber and I have broken up forever. PREVIOUS REVIEW BEFORE REALIZING HOW INEFFECTIVE IT WAS FOR BEING IN THE FIELD: It’s everything in one place. No more Google Calendar, going back & forth between apps/software, having to enter client information twice. Now my business has a new system making everything easier & much more efficient, with options, customizations, REAL PEOPLE CONTACT SUPPORT - by phone & live chat. Good price, fantastic training calls with Lindsay (smart, knowledgeable, helpful staff member). Getting Jobber is really the best decision I’ve made in a while for my business. Couple of suggestionsAs an employee using this app for a cleaning company, it would be VERY useful to get notifications if I’m scheduled for a new job or if one I’m scheduled for is cancelled or changed!! Currently I can’t find that or doesn’t seem to be an option and it’s frustrating if something gets switched in my schedule last minute. Also it would be nice if there could be an option for a weekly and monthly view of all jobs scheduled! Otherwise seems to be a great app!.Version: 4.65.0

Lacks on easy features- If an employee wants to input expenses or timing on a existing work order he can’t. Even if he has all privileges on his sign in. - On the quick menu just released even if you are already on that cliente you still have to search for the client at the end (this doesn’t happen on the site). -If a supervisor signs in (with total privilege) he only can view his own tasks at a time, when he should be able to have an option to see everyone together if needed. (As it is on the site) - Very important!!! The app does not send notifications about visits or tasks to the phone like any other app. Only sends to email, which is nor very practical. The software itself is very good but need A LOT of improvements..Version: 3.38

Love the UI/UXBut completely missing basic features in the UK. No SMS reminders. No Stripe integration. And it would massively benefit from being integrated with GoCardless too. Quickbooks syncingIt would be great if we could upload expenses straight into Quickbooks. This would save us a ton of data entry being done twice. Once for Jobber and then again with Quickbooks..Version: 5.29.0

Great with a grain of saltGot the lite version assuming I would have schedule feature just like free trial as well as the optional feature when writing quotes for clients. They do state that it does not come with schedule after looking around. My fault but for over $30 a month I’d expect to have at least some of the basics that I need. My advice for small business would be to save your money and manage with paper and pen or find another cheaper app. If you got the money I’d say this app would do it’s just fine.Version: 5.74.0

Good when it worksI use this to show my boss what I’ve done in the day via uploading notes and picture. It’s a pain to upload photos, if you leave the page, it just pauses the upload and when you go back to the page the uploads just hang. So I’m rushing around all day and often I have to stare at my screen before it uploads a photo.Version: 4.40.0

App crashed in the middle of writing a quoteOverall good, but can get WAY better The app crashed while I was in the middle of writing a extensive quote. The quote didn’t get saved and I worked about 10 minutes on creating it before it just crashed. Super inconvenient. I’m using an iPhone 13 pro with the latest OS and the latest app And OS updates automatically installed. Also, massive feature requests: 1. Make it so that you can enter timesheets post work. You should be able to record time worked on a project at any time, not just clock in and clock out. Ridiculous that this feature doesnt exist on mobile. 2. Add service items to your timesheets, just like Tsheets. 3. Be able to attach photos to timesheets 4. Add a “work notes “section to quote line items. This would be way better than one note section for the entire quote. 5. Add formatting options to line items. Markdown is easy enough and can be easily and quickly implemented. Jobber is really nice to work with, really well laid out, and is almost there, just needs some finishing touches. For the cost these features should be there..Version: 4.88.0

Netcode is useless, wipes what you just wrote for trying to upload photos before saving.If you like typing out your entire job description and then uploading your photos, to only discover that the cell service is no good I tell ya, you will lose everything you just wrote down. You gotta stop after every sentence almost and hit save just to make sure your details are actually logged by this MSN-esq quality of software. Jobber will wipe everything you typed out because it cannot accept uploads very well in poor service coverage areas, period. Its so frustrating that I am going to demand every other day that my boss switches to ServiceTitan. At least they understand the value of a technicians time when it comes to uploading photos and taking notes. Fix this and I may stop complaining. Actually do some netcode features. Get with the times. Update: April 29th; it is still embarrassingly horrible trying to upload anything on this program if you have waning cell phones coverage say you’re in a metropolis and you do service calls all over the place, this app is not for you go use service titan these guys cannot handle their code when it comes to net code. I could develop film for my boss faster than jobber will let me upload anything to their files with less than 4 bars of LTE service..Version: 4.80.0

Pushy/harassmentI downloaded the app for 1 hour and received 3 calls, a voicemail, and a long text from their sales rep. Send 1 message max and leave your users alone..Version: 4.58.0

PaymentThey have a really bad system with payments transferring. I talk with different support teams. They gave me different answers. They can’t solve my problem. It’s been a month, they hold my payment. I have not get any answer so far. Really bad experience..Version: 5.51.0
