✓ Lost the sound !This game is BRILLIANT. It takes some getting used to at first, but it is so addictive. However, I inexplicably lost the sound. I rebooted, re- installed but still no sound. I emailed Rummikub for advice but they have ignored my comments. The sound is essential for knowing it is your turn, so that you are able to work on your own set of tiles without worrying what other players are doing. Shame, this has spoiled my enjoyment of what is otherwise, a superb game.Version: 4.3.33
✓ Good game if you remember it is an APPReading reviews and I am confused. Do people really think playing an APP game is going to be the same as with people? First I have been playing this APP on and off since it’s inception. It is way better!! I did like being able to opt for different times, only 30 sec can be tough but makes the game different, more exciting. Also I prefer the computer taking over for lost players. I don’t notice it playing better, sometimes I lose sometimes I win. I just like playing. Yes, it steals coins sometimes, yes it glitches, yes it only lets me play 500 cost sometimes, yes there are ads.... hello it is FREE. Running out of money? let it run ads and you will have plenty... I usually win enough that I have plenty to play a few games each day. If someone starts poking for me to play fast, I can ignore them, because it is an APP. ✓ Mostly goodThe top row of the game board and bottom row of game board is difficult to manipulate. Often on iPhone it will instead minimise app (when you are just trying to pick a tile from top row) OR it will pause your play and warn you for trying to set tiles back on rack (when you are just trying to move a tile to bottom row). This is frustrating as it takes up precious amounts of your 30 second time allowance and can lose you the game - Everything is undone and you get a tile instead. Maybe it would work better on an iPad. Otherwise good..Version: 4.2.74
✓ Screen narrower pleaseHi. Love the game. When I’m on my iphone11 and using the game in its horizontal way I go to move tiles and it also means I can keep dropping out of the game cause the line is within the diameters of the game and then I’m in my home screen. It takes a delay to get back in but my timer still going. Any chance to make a board frame slightly Wider so the pull down menu line isn’t within the game area? Hope that makes sense..Version: 4.2.74

✓ Great game but has some glitches!Great game but timer to free coins freezes quite often. Have the force close the app to reset it. One of he more frustrating issues is when there are a lot of tiles in the board and you try and drop a tiles from the very top of the board. On Apple devices, this is the exact same control to drag down the notifications, therefore, automatically pausing, then it has to reconnect back into the game and all while your timer is ticking away. Very hard not to get frustrated at this when it happen a few times in a row. Just enough to get under your skin..Version: 4.3.28
✓ Love the game, not the players!This is a perfect game! Great graphics, you can play with different people, with the computer or with friends. I just love it. But people are ruining it! There should be a penalty for holding the jokers, like you need to use after 3 rounds or you can’t play. Or if you bought pieces over 6 times and are able to make a move, you should. ✓ Love itDuring the Covid-19 restrictions Rummikub has helped me pass some time by playing with friends or against the computer I had a few teething problem when I first started, but, with the help I got from the support team everything was soon sorted out. The support response was always speedy too, thank you for that ! My only problem at the moment is that a couple of times the game freezes, forcing me to leave the game and so losing my entry fee On the whole it’s a terrific app.Version: 4.2.74
✓ Great fun - with a few glitchesI love this game and I think it’s a great app. Agree that the bots are annoying and far too good, but I’m not sure how else they could cope with players leaving. I’ve only paid for coins once and think that £2 is pretty good value! A few glitches though: coins are not always added when you reach a threshold - it freezes up and that’s it. However, if you contact the makers, they’re very responsive and do add the coins. My only other grumble is the number of double tiles I get: often four or five pairs which is annoying..Version: 4.3.28
✓ Love it on the wholeGreat game, totally addicted, nice layout, sounds etc. They new joker rules took some getting used to but I quite like it now I understand it. Easy to collect more coins by watching 5s ads, not sure why others complain about having to spend money. Dev has to make money some how!! The bots are too fast though, need to play more like real humans. The 30s game seems to have more bots, 60s game often has just humans which is better. I’d like a longer turn option, like 3 minutes, for anyone who wants to play in the more traditional way, especially on family mode (which I’ve not tried so maybe I can??). I’d also like it if any pieces you’ve placed that work stay on the board even if you’ve not finished and other pieces are returned. Like if I add a 4 to a 123, then after that try to manipulate but can’t manage it, everything gets put back how it was but the 4 remains on the board. I’d be more willing to ‘mess around’ with the pieces if I knew I wasn’t going to lose what I’d already done. I’ve not tried playing friends, will update when I do..Version: 4.2.33

✓ Love it!I really enjoy the game but do have a couple of niggles... 1. Why can’t I search for a friend and play them directly without going through Facebook? I don’t like using Facebook for this sort of thing. 2. Why can’t I choose how many coins I want to gamble with on each game? I never know how much is going to be taken until I select to play now. Then if I leave the game before it’s starts, the coins are still taken. Sometimes it’s 100, sometimes it’s 500 but most of the time it’s 1000 which limits the number of games I can play if I don’t have a lot of coins. ✓ Please fix the top row of tilesI love this game. The one problem is that, if you’re choosing a tile from the top row, it is too close to the top of the phone screen—- so the phone ‘top menu’ drags down, and the game has to reconnect. This takes away valuable seconds when it’s your turn. This happens to me multiple times a game and has prevented me from winning many times, when I could have won that very turn! Very frustrating. EDIT: another complaint. It took me a while to realize that when people kamikaze and make manipulations for their whole turn, that’s the computer. ✓ Tiles move erratically at times.I really enjoy Rummikub but it’s hard to play with just me and my husband. I was happy to find the app! My only negative about the game is that the pieces jump automatically when you place a tile, which most of the time is very helpful, but when the game is getting towards the end and there are a lot of tiles on the board, they jump in ways I’m not intending. It’s usually impossible to get them back where you want them or where they started in the short amount of time allowed. I have lost more than one game this way. It’s a really bad problem on my phone but is still a problem on the iPad. If I click the reset it resets the whole turn and I just need the last move corrected..Version: 4.2.74

The only thing that is tempting me to delete it is- I only play custom games, 30 seconds is not enough time for me. But as soon as someone leaves, the computer takes over and changes the whole board and usually goes out 1-2 turns. Maybe we could just disqualify that person and throw the tiles back in or something. It pretty much disregards the “win stats” as you advertise since you’re not playing a human. It’s pretty much every time someone leaves the game, the whole game is over anyways. I did see someone else mention the set up for iPhone. It’s kind of a pain when you try to move tiles closer to your board, it says you’re trying to put them back on your board and if you click to high it pulls down notifications and has to reload. ✓ Loving it!I have loved this game for years, played a different Rummikub app few years ago but gave up on it as it was shocking. This one is great! Frustrating to play on a small screen like my iPhone as the notifications slide down too easy making me need to reconnect and not be able to make enough moves in the timeframe however I am lucky enough to be able to play it easier on my iPad with bigger screen. If this can somehow be managed that would be amazing for those who play on phones! A few recommendations to the creators- if there were an ability to chat live to players in private games only that would be excellent! ✓ Increased connectivity issuesI loved playing this game but lately it has too many connectivity issues from the game end (not my internet end). I have tried various times of day but the problem persists. Shame. They still manage to serve up ads though. Fun game. I turn off Chat because some players can be rude and have no patience. The timer can be annoying - if you laid down several tiles and just missed the timing out when laying the last tile, the game gives you all the tiles back - not just that last one. ✓ I love this game! Except 2 things…1: There’s not enough time to leave a game before it starts without losing tokens. I don’t like joining games with a 500 token fee! I try to leave as fast as possible, but I still lose tokens often. I see two options: 1. Increase the time to join to allow people enough time to leave once they see the join fee, or 2: give people the option before joining. For example, after clicking Play Now we could have the option of joining a 100 token fee game, a 500 token fee, or whatever other fee levels are available at the moment. 2: Having ALL the tiles removed from the board if even one tile is out of place. Only invalid tiles should be returned. It’s maddening playing a bunch of tiles, trying to place the last tile only for it to not go into place for some reason (the play mechanics aren’t perfect for tile placement), having the timer run out, and then ALL the pieces being returned despite the one tile out of place being from my hand and could easily be returned to my hand while leaving a valid board. 3: This doesn’t affect my enjoyment of the game, but I would like to have more time increments when making a custom game. Increments in 5s, 10s, or even 15s would be preferable to 30s..Version: 4.6.8

Of course you don’t win every time but there is always the chance to win and the practice, whether against bots or real players, helps you improve. You get free coins every day and as you start to improve can win more. ✓ SuggestionsFun to play. However, I hate it when I accidentally swipe up or down, which brings me out of the game and shows a pop-up that says ‘resuming the game’ when I return. The reconnection takes so long that when I come back, either my turn is already over or I’m out of the game because there have been two rounds of the game while I was reconnecting. Here are some things to suggest: 1) please fix the above mentioned reconnection issues, 2) move the board tiles a little bit up so they don’t overlap with the bar in the bottom for iphone users, and 3) make some empty space at the top so players are not at risk of bringing the notifications bar when they try to make a move with a tile located at the top.Version: 4.4.17
✓ Fun but not perfectGreat game, seems to pretty accurately recreate the experience of playing Rummikub. I agree with a lot of the things mentioned in other reviews... sometimes it does seem unrealistically and disproportionately difficult to win, but I guess that could just be random. The ads can be annoying but hey, it IS free. Biggest problem though — and the entire reason I’m writing this review — is the bottom of the tile rack is too close to the iPhone swipe area. Every time it interrupts my timed turn, it feels incredibly unfair, and trying to be extra careful to avoid it happening is a waste of precious time. There has to be some way around this. Please figure out a way to not have the rack so close to that area so when I try to swipe tiles, I can do it with confidence that I’m not going to exit the game and mess up my turn. How they figure out what it is or if I get anything additional when the fee is high. When I started it was alway 100. But after I played for awhile and accumulated coins, sometimes it would be 500 and occasionally 1000. But usually still 100. And if. It’s 500 for a couple games it seems to drop to 100. But once in awhile it then goes back to 500. I’ve never played twice the same day if the fee is 1000 so don’t know if it stays that high for the second game or not. ✓ Stimulate your mind!!The beauty of this app is that unlike the physical game, you get the chance to throw caution to the wind and try different melds & strategies. And if they don’t work, just hit the undo button and try something else! I bumped up my practice sessions to allow 2 full minutes to play my tiles, and only wish you could increase it to 3 minutes or more. I also wish there was a way to slow down the laying of your opponents’ tiles during practice sessions, and maybe even see your opponents’ tiles, for better learning opportunities, even if it meant you would forgo any points being earned. Lastly, it would be great if the practice games had a “hint” option or maybe a “coach” mode so you could see if you have a viable move to make or not, something as simple as highlighting a playable tile. As you might guess, I’m using this app to make myself a better player when I play the physical game using tiles. One small complaint is that I’ve experienced an advertisement that I couldn’t close so I’ve had to force close the app. But overall, great app!.Version: 4.4.17
✓ Love this game - sound help?I absolutely love this game, and I don't mind the ads because they're short and the game is worth the money of the ad revenue. However recently I've noticed that the ads somehow kill the sound of the app right before the next game. I'm a sensory person and need the sound to play or I lose track of time and my turns, and every time that the sound dies I end up having to leave the game because I can't cope, and I lose the coins for entry. ✓ Good game - customer support is fantasticI love playing Rummikub with friends and I was very excited when I found this app. Because I like playing on my own time I choose the Practice game, which is against the computer rather than against live people. That way if I have to leave in the middle of a game or get interrupted I can close it and reopen it at my convenience. To play any game you need coins. I initially bought coins for $2.99, but even in the Practice mode you can earn more coins by watching videos or winning so many points. I don’t feel that I will need to purchase coins again. Twice when something didn’t work quite right I contacted Customer Support and both times got an immediate response and they quickly resolved the issue. Sometimes the game seems to lock up (where it’s stuck on one of the players), but I usually exit the game and come back in and it gets resolved. This game is very close to the real thing, although when I play with friends we have stricter rules..Version: 4.2.74

✓ Great game but still needs workI always play in custom mode - 4 players, 30 seconds. There are a number of irritating things that need sorting. 1. Connectivity. Quite often, you start a game and it freezes. Or a series of numbers appear over the active player. Generally these can be resolved by leaving the app and returning which forces it to reconnect. Sometimes the daily free coins aren’t added. 2. The shouty messages. There’s really no need 3. Players try to meld on the first lay. Sometimes, they try this several times over several goes. The game needs to be fixed so they can’t do this (along with a message saying why) rather than this message appearing when they try to end their turn. This is really frustrating 4. A message warning players that they are about to be thrown out for not making a move on 2 consecutive turns 5. Slow down the robots that replace players who have been booted out. No real player stands much of a chance against super fast AI. 6. Why is the official rule disallowing the joker on the first lay not used?.Version: 4.2.44
✓ Some design issuesIt’s a fun game with the classic graphics so I gave it 4. but I don’t know why it doesn’t let you decide how much to bet. Sometimes you have a lot of coins and it bets the minimum. Other times you maybe don’t feel you want to risk half your coins on a big bet and it does it anyway. Second problem is that on iPad the emoticons your opponents make cover up the top of the screen so they maybe are trying to hurry you but it makes it harder to finish if they block the tiles repeatedly. Unless it’s meant to let you do that as a strategy to mess someone up from seeing the screen. ✓ Great appI’m always on the lookout for new (to me) games. If you like rummy or gin, this is a great game to get into! It’s the same run/set series but on steroids. Very fun and will get you competitive. Highly suggest doing several practice games before starting with real players. Set up your own game settings for longer periods for you to lay down your hand because it will go quick! I’ve seen some complaints about connectivity but I’ve not ever had an issue, I use it on my phone and have even played while riding around town. I also don’t recommend doing that though because I feel like I need to concentrate on the game when I play due to the pace of the game! Lol. Overall great fun strategic game play! ✓ Fun game, easy to use appIt seems like many of the issues in earlier 1-star reviews have been resolved. I paid the 3.99 to have an ad free experience and it makes it more enjoyable, but you don’t need to purchase that to enjoy this app. I don’t like how many moves the computer players make per turn in practice mode, but I can often avoid them destroying me if I reduce to 2 or 3 player mode and then turn my turn time limit to infinite. I rarely have connectivity issues and I have only seen a few issues with online play but none that have affected the turnout of the game. ✓ Brilliant - except for screen interruptions - and needs new challengesBest Rummi game available - BUT... screen/game interruptions: if you get notifications on the screen - or app switching is accidentally triggered when you are moving your tiles - then the games is held up and you essentially loose your turn.. infuriating at times needs new challenge: now that I’ve levelled up and have heaps of coins I want something to use them on- what’s the point of have 20 million coin?!! ✓ One of my favourite gamesI’m not sure about that negative review. I haven’t found it rigged at all. I don’t see how it can be. I love it and prefer it to the table version and play it everyday. As long as you remember to collect your rewards, it’s free. Adverts are a pain and aimed at younger people, but it’s not the end of the world. The only downside is the rudeness of some players. Only issue is that the tiles on the bottom row can’t be dragged up without triggering the Apple app swipe function, which means each time it disconnects from the game. ✓ AddictedI started playing this because my friend and I get together for board game day and she suggested Rummikub. I had no clue how to play this game, so I downloaded the App to practice and also paid for some coins. I wanted to learn the game quickly and didn’t realize at first that I could earn more than the daily amount. Anyway, I love playing it and once my husband saw that, downloaded and now it is his go to game also. There has been a couple of glitches (which might be from playing on 2 iPads and an iPhone?). I lost a lot of coins and contacted support. Within a few hours both times, the coins were added back. ✓ When playing against AIA great game but you can really tell when you’re playing the robots. I understand that people can drop out of a game or there’s a need to send in a bot to fill the spaces but it’s unfair. ✓ My only suggestionVery cool app. My girlfriend and I play together and I’ve come to really like this game. We have the classic board game as well, and of course I’m when it’s just the two of us, it doesn’t matter either way. During the app, my only suggestion, when we hit Play Now and start a random game with whoever, I can not decide how much I want to play for coin wise. If i pay 1.99 for 10k coins, I don’t want to play for 1000 coins per game. If coins are involved, and I pay for them, I should be able to decide how much I want to play for. ✓ Frustrating gameI love playing this board game, the App however is totally frustrating! Apart from the fact that it gets disconnected often and you lose your turn waiting to re connect, but it is totally rigged! ✓ Good game, shame about the emojisI love this game and it’s fun to play with other people, friends or just random people online. The only thing I don’t like is the stupid ‘please make a move’ and snoring/ angry emojis that people can do as you are playing, with accompanying irritating sounds. You get 30 seconds to make a move which isn’t that long and having people interrupt your concentration with a snoring sound just isn’t necessary. ✓ App crashes if people leave gameI love this game I’m not sure why people are complaining. I have had the app for over a year and never paid a penny for coins. I know everybody has a level but maybe there should be an option to select if you are a beginner. Example, I play level 17 currently on my phone but am a level 4 on the iPad. I’m not sure what people mean by robots? I don’t think I’ve ever played a robot. If people win it’s because they have experience. Also, app crashes or game reloads if a player leaves the game. I personally like the emojis, they are there for when players take forever to make a move. Or think that by waiting two turns at the start of the game they will win. ✓ Rummi playerI love playing cards / rummi. This is a rummi game with tiles. It’s addictive and a great exercise for your brain. ✓ Amazing appThis app is amazing instead of all of the faf of getting the board game out this is much quicker. Every night my family and I play it. However some bugs occur when in a game like it might say someone has a million seconds left or if your opponent collects a tile it might say that they haven’t and it just stays on their go. ✓ Great game when it plays realisticallyThis game is a lot of fun and I really get into it when I feel like it is being fair and realistic. However, there are times that the game feels quite “rigged” against individual players and it stops being fun at times. The first issue is the seemingly regular occurrence of drawing out to 25 to 30 tiles before being able to play. Understand that it can happen in real life, but it seems to happen too regularly here. The second issue is the computer player takeover, where the automated players are able to play rapidly and win from large numbers of tiles (just lost a game with less than 5 tiles and computer player had 17). ✓ Great, but…Great game overall, however… for Apple devices, dragging on the top or the bottom of the screen can trigger Apple menus, which disconnects you from the game and by the time you reconnect, you miss your turn. This is frustrating when you’re moving lots of tiles from the bottom of your screen and then become disconnected. Reconnecting also takes a long time, and sometimes doesn’t work at all. Lastly, I’ve noticed receiving a FaceTime call (and cancelling the call to keep playing) freezes the game entirely. I’m on an iPhone 13 Pro Max. ✓ Brilliant game, but….I love this game and pretty much play it every day against my girlfriend. We’ve both become pretty excellent and generally win against any bot and most humans. You don’t have to buy coins. You can literally win millions of them just by being good. When we are not playing each other we play single player games on 60 seconds per turn. 30 secs is too short to play properly. All in all this game is excellent. The only rubbish thing is the amount of players at the top levels of the game who have a strategy of hoarding all of their tiles until the very end - not putting a single tile down until there are three tiles left. ✓ Connection issuesFirstly I love this as a board game and working away from home means I can still play. However the connectivity issues are very disappointing. Not only, the same connection issues were identified by other feed back in October last year with no apparent improvement. It has become increasing frustrating when all you want is some time out. For a popular game I think you should improve the server. The issues are not at this end. Then randomly the coins collected disappear with playing a game. I mean what’s with that? ✓ IPhone XR problemsI have played this board game for years and really enjoying playing the online version with my friends online around the works. But I have so many problems picking tiles up from the top row of the board as it constantly tries to disconnect from the game and then takes another 5 seconds to reconnect again.
