✓ Worst lightning app around…This app is highly inaccurate. It puts lightning strikes where there hasn’t been any. It will alert you saying there’s lightning 30km away when it’s actually 80km away and not even approaching your location! I own a very sensitive lightning detector which alerts me of any lightning near me and it can alert me when this app doesn’t. I’ve also seen lightning and yet this app hasn’t seen it at all. The bolts on the map seem to be only a rough estimate, and I mean VERY rough! 1 star rating. There’s far better apps out there. ✓ Lack of options is a bummerThis app is quite useful, only problem, is distance is hard-set to KM and I am in America, so have no practice with the metric system. Would really be helpful if you could add a feature to toggle between km and miles. Also, it would be helpful to be able search for and add multiple locations to receive updates about. ✓ An Amateur Radio No BrainerLove this app, as a ham radio operator it is nice to know when there is lightning in the area so I can disconnect my antennas. Plus it is handy to know we're the static crashes are coming from. I am unable to enter, or delete any location. ✓ Almost greatAlmost everything works as advertised except the "add your location" part. I can't put my town in, because it isn't i the database, and even using my phone position, it has dropped my 15 miles away in a different state. the graphics and update rate look like exactly like what I was hoping for, but it can't warn me about lightning within 5 miles if it thinks I am 15 miles away from where I really am. Oh, and though it won't look up an actual address, it will let you put in a town name. Just the name. ✓ PotentialThis app has potential but needs some attention. When zoomed out to give a wide view, rain clouds (if appropriate) show up. Zoom in to a specific region and the clouds disappear. Zoom out again and .... no clouds! Exit the app and go back in .... no clouds. Force close the app or power cycle the iPhone and .... clouds reappear on the zoomed out screen.
