✓ Nice app but a bug needs fixingApp has a nice interface however in NZ the tabular data shows yesterday’s tides and it changes to the correct day after lunchtime. I’m guessing the day changes at UTC 0000 whereas it should change at 0000 local. This is especially annoying on watch where there is no indicator in that you looking at the wrong day..Version: 1.5
✓ InaccurateGrumph. Just paid $7 for this and it’s terrible. Defaults to yesterday’s tide which is wrong anyway. Today’s also wrong by an hour and 2 minutes. Doesn’t have my local beach when others do. Got it so I could have tides on apple watch and it does display on watch just with all the same incorrect data..Version: 1.5

✓ Questioning AccuracyI am calling into question the accuracy of this app. Something didn’t make sense so I went to the BOM website and checked the official tide table (for Stony Point - Westernport), compared it to this app for the same day, and found that app was over an hour out. Not good. Visually, this is a nice app with data presented in useful ways. But I think most people would value accuracy over it’s visual appeal - after all, that is why you look at tides..Version: 1.8

✓ Tide ProI wanted an app to give me accurate tide information on my Apple Watch. The display options on Tide Pro on the iPhone are great, so I chose to upgrade to get same display on my Apple Watch. All was fine until I needed to install Apple Pay on my watch, which requires the watch to have a passcode for security. Now the Tide Pro doesn’t work, displaying a never ending ‘data loading’ message. I have sought help from author, and have had no response. Very disappointing. I always try to use 3 tide prediction sauces when navigating and while cross referencing the Tides PRO app, I found it is very accurate. Where you really need detailed tidal data for sailing, like Poole Entrance, and Poole Harbour there is only Bournemouth and that does not have the double tide situation Poole has. It doesn’t allow for a widget feature, something it could easily do and you cannot do long term tide prognosis without cellphone service, something pretty rare in far away places from the shore if you’re boating.
