Stash: Investing made easy Pros

A good habit of saving.I started Stash about four months ago. I didn’t deposit anything for the first month and kinda just researched the app a little bit. The first thing i love about Stash is that it’s super user friendly. It’s easy for me to navigate and it’s beautifully built. The second thing i like about it, is that you can go at your own pace, whatever that may be. This app is meant for INVESTING which means “stashing” your money away and forgetting about it. Me personally, I’ve always tried to set money back in my savings and checking account and it just seemed like nothing ever grows. With stash, I’m able to put back an amount that is comfortable for me. They have a feature called auto-stash and i turned that on. I set my limit at $10 a week, noticed it was super easy and wasn’t losing any sleep over it, so i moved it up to $30. I did $30 for a few weeks and got excited so i bumped it up to $60 a week. For me, this is the perfect flow right now. It’s been three months of consistent saving, NO withdraws, and i purchased some ETF’s and Stocks in a few companies and my stash account just hit $1,000 with $104 being a return. This is a great way for you to save a little bit of money, and letting it grow over time. I give it 5 stars for my experience. I may leave another review when i hit 5k!! 😛.MaissssasVersion: 2.8.3

Reasonable supportI have no issues that needs attention as of date except that if only i may suggest that they come up with a live support team that can maybe look into our portfolio and suggest whether a divesification is needed or there is a need to do some restructuring for too many stocks, sort of a financial adviser, in order for us to be well guided in stock trading or investing. Most of us here are beginners and learning without the right guidance is not reallly learning, you know what i mean …. Its like we keep investing without knowing its stability. In addition to this, since i also have a cash app, and also invested therein and i have noticed a feature they have which shows information on the stock with the corresponding percentage of the amount you gained or lost, thereby it is informing me whether or not i should go on with the stock or let go of it, this is very efficient feature since your time maintaining the stock wont be put into waste since you have the option to predict based on the current earnings or loss you have. Should Stash include this it will be very efficient to within the app..Davao boyVersion: 3.0.92

Stash: Investing made easy Cons

Took the monthly subscription out but nothing else...I set up my Stash account about 9-10 months ago & selected a few businesses to invest in every two weeks totaling $20 every two weeks but they never took anything out of my account for the investments only their subscription fee every month which is ridiculous?! Every few weeks I would check to make sure it was set up correctly & the companies I selected to invest in were there & showed biweekly on Friday’s? However nothing EVER came out for those NOT ONCE!? I eventually forgot about this app until I checked my bank account Stash was tied to & saw that their still taking the monthly subscription out every month but nothing for my investments??? I finally went into the app & FAQS to locate how to cancel subscription which you have to do online only? Cannot cancel through the app itself which is also ridiculous & if you still have the app installed & using your phone when logging into the website it automatically redirects you to the mobile app so I had to uninstall the app then go back to the website & search for the cancellation. FAQS is also useless as it tells you to go to “Manage Account” & there was no “Manage Account”? I found it but not where FAQS said 🙄😤😤 I personally do not recommend this app at all!!.Stylez79Version: 3.0.12

Buyer BewareA friend of mine sent this to me and it looked interesting. I signed up using an account that only receives a small portion of my pay (basically my “pocket money” account) and I’m so glad that I did because no matter how many times I check every setting I can find in the app and set them all to withdraw “bi-weekly on Friday’s”, I continue to have withdrawals *every* Friday, and as of today I can add a Monday to the list too — I’m also lucky that I decided to set each withdrawal at only $20 (for each of 3 different Stash “accounts”) while I test it out, I couldn’t imagine if they were taking out larger sums left and right against my will. I keep taking screenshots of one of the settings which I’ve repeatedly set to “bi-weekly”, because every week after I notice another unwanted withdrawal the setting will be magically switched back to “weekly”... On top of all of this, the app has been telling me that my “stash debit card” is ready to activate for about a month now, but there has been no sign of it in the mail. I have been at this address for over 5 years, my wife receives items she orders online about 2-4 times per week, and I’ve never had an issue with receiving mail or anything else here at all until this circus of a situation came along. As soon as I can figure out how to recover whatever they will let me recover from this mess, I am out!.MattsatbatVersion: 2.9.40
