FODMAP Friendly for Negative User Reviews

Not what I expectedI got this app looking for a user friendly food guide. There’s too many steps to even access the food items to check if they’re low FODMAP! I won’t be using this app. Very disappointed.Version: 3.5

Ok for finding certified foods I guessThe amount of foods that are inconsistent with the Monash app really make me wish that I didn’t spend good money, and Monash promote this!?? Well maybe not the app but the site at least. The very first source cited was Sue Shepherd, who is a self proclaimed leader in low fodmapping and releases books every year with updated information. She is guaranteed to rake in the cash as her books are obsolete annually. I was reading a cookbook my mum has from 10 years ago and was horrified at the ingredients used. I wonder which version these people are using?.Version: 3.7

Wish I had scrolled down to see the reviewPrevious reviewer is correct. This information isn’t organized in a functionally useful manner. There isn’t even a list of recommended foods. You have to individually click on certain foods to see the fodmap rating. Waste of $2 and my time. Very disappointing..Version: 3.5

Not helpfulThe Monash app is much more helpful, and the FODMAP A to Z app is much more helpful for free. This app just gives a pass/fail rating which is especially unhelpful given the nuance of portion size making all the difference in defining what is a high or low FODMAP. I was taken in by the advertising. I should’ve read the ratings and reviews before buying it..Version: 3.11

I want my money backThere isn't any content!.Version: 3.4

FODMAP “friendly”This is not even an app. It’s an AD.Version: 3.7

Incomplete appThere are no foods listed under the food list... Kind of the main reason I purchased the app. I hope it gets fixed or I want my money back. Very disappointed :(.Version: 1.5

UndecidedFood list is set up really well, moderately good amount of foods included, more need to be added. Provides general information, doesn't go into much detail. Inconsistent with results, eg can't eat rye but Alpine Rye sourdough bead is listed as a good fodmap food???.Version: 1.4

Not worth it!Not worth the money- not a very comprehensive list of food!!.Version: 3.11

TeacherNot a single feature of this app works on my iPhone. I will be deleting it. Do not purchase this!.Version: 3.4

Don't rely just on the appThe app is ok if you're starting out on the FODMAP diet but I have been on the diet for a year and have found I am intolerant to a lot of the low FODMAP items that are shown as green in the app so will be sticking to the booklets provided by my registered Dietician and my own experience. There were also some conflicts with the app approved food list and UK approved list. This app will be useful as and when new products are tested and approved and I can then try them to see if they are ok for me..Version: 1.0

Seems to be brokenUsers, find another fodmap app. Monash is worth the $ but the other free one on IOS is also okay. Typing into the search on this app sometimes automatically gets you no results before you even finish spelling a word. And you have to know EXACTLY how the food is listed for it to even come up in the search. These developers need to try harder..Version: 7.2

FodmapNo stars Does not work on iPhone 4.Version: 1.0

Don’t buyWas great in the beginning for a month or two and then it stopped working completely.Version: 7.2

DisappointingNot helpful for those who want to cook their own meals. Nothing more than a short list of processed foods. Disappointing..Version: 3.5

MisleadingNot an app for USA.Version: 2.0

Awkward to useDoesn't rotate to landscape format on iPads, which severely restricts its value as in many cases page contents are difficult to read on the smaller iPhone screen. Links to dietitian websites take me to advertisements for sports apparel in some cases and, on the screen that seems locked in portrait format present only half the width of web pages that are obviously designed for a horizontal screen. There might well be some useful information hidden away somewhere, but as it is such an awkward and iPad-unfriendly app I can't be bothered hunting for it. Needs redesigning by someone who understands the need for full iPad compatibility in a horizontal as well as vertical format..Version: 3.3

Don’t waste your moneyNot useful at all. Want a refund!.Version: 3.5

Could be moreIt's a beginners app and there's not much to know on getting used to basic FODMAP information. This app does not have recipes but does advertise products FODMAP friendly. I like the links to dietitians. But after about 30 minutes of navigating I was over it.Version: 1.0

Useless...Worst £1.99 I've spent. Very limited and hardly any foods listed. Don't waste your money..Version: 3.2

Not User FriendlyI don’t understand this app. It’s difficult to navigate, most of the time I can’t see arrows at all or often the food item list is just whack to navigate. You have good info just do better with the visual side please..Version: 7.1

Food lists not helpfulAlmost everything I entered into the food lists wasn’t listed..Version: 7.4

RubbishThey asked for my email then the app quit and wouldn’t reopen. Just wanted my details, not very happy.Version: 7.2

Disappointing - So Little ThereThis was a disappointing app. It is like a brochure with too little information. Nothing interactive. There is so little there - you can find more with a quick search on the web. Would return if I could..Version: 1.0

Requires email registrationBefore you can see anything, it requires an email address. I refuse.Version: 7.2

No recipesBought to look at recipes and found none 😢.Version: 3.11

RubbishCan I have a refund please. Waste of money..Version: 3.11

A good startIt would be better if there was a search function for foods, and if there was a summary symbol at a higher level of which foods in each category are high and low FODMAP. It takes too much drilling down for me to want to use it on a regular basis. Also, not all of the FODMAP accredited products are listed, such as the Naturis breads..Version: 1.2

Too much workLots of clicks to get around. My thumb got tired... nice data to show which elements of each food contribute to the problem.Version: 7.4
