I’ve had to subscribe to alternate apps to continue adding spice and variety to my videos. I’d somehow like to stick around longer and strongly recommend adding new templates on a regular basis. The response to the Ripl posts has been overwhelming and being able to track the posts via the analytics feature is of great use to identify what does and does not work when creating posts. There are a few things I would like to see included which would make this app even better : - The ability to favourite the available designs. - The ability to save designs for reuse at a later date. I know this is possible by downloading previous posts but a simple saved list would be much more convenient. - The ability to time effects. At certain times it would be good to be able to leave a slide on slightly longer to give the viewer time to read it before the next transition occurs. I’ve struggled with trying to add text, separate media and finish projects. That needs to be fixed. Second, the audio selections. Jazz music that really isn’t jazz at all. I manage several different social media pages for several companies and the scheduled/automated posting makes things easier too! However, I am encountering a couple of glitches, particularly related to engagement tracking/goals and instagram posting/notifications. My engagements are not updating regularly and are ‘off’ (not tracking at all or showing lower numbers than they should be). I’d love to see the actual formulas Ripl uses for this to give me more insight! Additionally, although I have all notifications enabled, I’m not getting reminders to post on Instagram, and sometimes when I do get a notification, Ripl won’t open the Instagram app to post, so I’m left doing it the long way round. ✓ Can't log outHere is the deal: I love the product. Issue 1: It's creepy and bothersome that you can't log out. I secure everything else for our businesses with 2fa, etc. However, I have to keep Facebook logged in through my Ripl. I don't really like that. There are so many security breaches as of lately, that I changed all my passwords. But, I would really prefer a way to log out. Issue 2: Unless you're really tech savvy like my partner, it isn't instinctual to have to delete an app and reinstall it to log into a different profile. Even after I did that to log into his business account, my business wouldn't let me sync it to his account. It gave a message that I was logged into my FB on my browser. After I logged out on my browser, it still had the same message: it was incorrect. Actually, I needed to manually disconnect my FB account for my business to add my business to his account. It didn't say that though, and it was definitely confusing me. So, security and user interface can both still be improved. ✓ Loved it but then it changedWe loved the app and used it frequently. We even paid the subscription fee to delete the Riple logo. Then one day we were told our subscription was no longer valid. By this time the fees had changed so it appears that they want us to renew with the new fees. This seems a bit silly as we already paid and should be grandfathered in with the original subscription. Be ware that they may at any time cancel your subscription and expect you to renew with the current fees. I have tried contacting them but have not received a response. I would rate the app 5 stars, it is easy to use and allows you to create impressive animated videos in a short amount of time. It’s too bad the creators are displaying unethical behavior. If you don't mind their logo appearing on your marketing material and being limited to a small library of options then try it for free I’m sure you will like! I love the customization aspect and being that I am in the home decor business, nothing draws attention like being able to show loads of pictures of your product. ✓ Needs Better OrganizationOverall I like the app, makes creating on the fly "video" content easy. My one big complaint is there's no organization to the app, drafts, scheduled, and posted files are all mixed together. It would be nice to have them separated out so I can see if I missed a day in a campaign I'm running. Instead I had to scroll through every creation whether posted or not to find out, I in fact did miss a day in the campaign. Would be nice to be able to add short 60 sec video clips as well as pictures. This length keeps it inline with Instagram guidelines. The $9.99 per month is a bit steep considering the limitations. If it did everything that Buffer and the other management tools did it would be worth it. For now I'll remain subscribed until the current social media campaigns end.
