✓ Great concept, needs improvements thoughI like the concept and designs but here’s my feedback. It freezes when I try use my own music, your support email doesn’t allow you to hit a send button so I can’t reach out for help..Version: 4.0.18
✓ Great potential but room for improvementsWhen I downloaded this app, I was so impressed that I immediately subscribed to the 7 day free trial. By doing this, I was able to access more fonts and layouts which was great. Unfortunately, once I saved my file to camera roll and proceeded to upload it to instagram, I realised the resolution quality was poor. Due to this, I decided to cancel my subscription and wait until the developer improves the resolution quality. I use Canva for all of my insta posts, and if they're able to offer high resolution images, you should too. I look forward to the updates!.Version: 2.2.1
✓ Stopped working???Recently the function that allowed me to share my WordPress posts to Instagram stopped. When I click “create from post” (I think), it goes right to the Pro settings and tells me I need Pro. I really only need Ripl to share on Instagram. My Wordpress connects to all my other accounts without issue. Sorry to say that if this inconveniences isn’t fixed, I’ve no use for Ripl..Version: 4.0.2

✓ Quality going downhillI have been using Ripl for about 2 years. The price is going up and the quality of the basic service is going downhill. For a year, I have not been able to see the fonts available in the working screen and have to guess where to tap to access the list. ✓ It’s okayIt’s been two months now that I’ve used this app. The app is great for quick ideas. However, their designs need to be more modern and for the amount of money paid monthly, a new design comes out only about once a month. After a while of using this app, the designs are almost all similar. You’ll find the same design but different variations. I love the “what to post” ideas but found that they don’t really apply for what you need. Also, they will suggest the same ideas after a while. The tracking feature needs improvement as Instagram’s Insights feature will give you a lot more detailed information of tracking than Ripl will. Will only try this app for maybe a few more weeks but not sure it is worth the $10 a month if you are using this in the long run for your group or business, especially if there aren’t some major changes to keep up with the times..Version: 2.2.36

✓ Don’t download it!This app looks all well and good but giving strangers access to ALL your accounts, your friends and private information is always risky. It ask promotion to basically take over my Twitter! To have access to follow and unfollow people. ✓ More editing optionsI love this app for what is worth. The few issues that I have are not to many designs, not being able to edit text freely, for example sizing text individually or even being able to use two type of text. Not being able to edit the preset text for example the Black Friday intro for the red and black design. Multi selecting photos would be great as well. As of right now you can only select one image at a time. Also being able to choose a cover photo. I notice while downloading to Instagram the image covers were not consistent. Due to branding it would be great to be able to select a cover page. Other than this I do enjoy the app but for a monthly premium subscription for this app I would like to edit as much as possible. ✓ Poor customer serviceI have been using this app for business for awhile and whenever I need assistance ( in my 50’s) you cannot get immediate answers and solutions. It waste time and money! You cannot call a human, only emails which take a long time to go back and forth with emails . Needs improvement! They just did an update and I could not make a video for weeks! I had to cancel my subscription and update and figure it all out on my own. And I pay for this aggravation, not good business. Must be run by youngsters who don’t know what good customer service means. Anyway I figured it out I can make a video again, till the next time they update and offer little support..Version: 4.0.2
✓ APP FALLS SHORTLove your app BUT there is ONE MAJOR SHORTFALL. Unfortunately you can not create a videoclip from a desktop. The cost for apps used to be clearly defined, now it seems to be done in a scam fashion. You don’t discover cost until after you downloaded the app, and possibly accidentally subscribed to a costly relationship. The federal trade commission ( FTC) use to fine businesses $10,000 for each incidence of such “ bait and Switch“ tactics. I wish they would again. You end up to add your credit card just to log in but you will end up being charged $159.99 plus tax for one year membership without your consent! ✓ Mehhh, it’s just ok.This is a great idea for a subscription app, it just doesn’t completely function. My videos don’t post correctly... meaning not how I design them. Commonly missing wording that I had saved. Sometimes the embellishments aren’t where I placed them when they post either. There is also no search bar, so if you’re looking for let’s say Christmas type ideas to post you have to scroll through all the ideas or sometimes you can get a category selection to come up, but not always. There music selection is also getting old fast 🤣. However I am just impressed there is even music to add to your video, so that isn’t as much of a concern. ✓ Could be epic app with work.I’ve been using this a little over a year from my new bar and restaurant. Lately it’s been not uploading correctly and omitting the sound for not putting the words on the slides and I don’t find this until after my ad is launched for two days is very disappointing It is easy to put together campaigns however. Wish they would update them sounds and music and label the assets better so we can find themes to specific ad campaigns. For example I’m doing a Hofbrau ad now. For example sometimes I like a template & after selecting it I realize the text from the intro picture shows on every other pic. If u delete the text from the other pics it deletes the text on the opening picture. This is a video creation tool yet you can’t customize it that well. You also can’t change font or font color from picture to picture. Although I appreciate the continuity sometimes a picture in your video needs a different color or text font then the rest of the video pictures. I basically use the same template so all my videos are exactly the same & nothing unique. Since it’s not very customizable the monthly cost is high for the quality of product receiving. I usually have to use another picture editing app to get the picture how I want it so I don’t have to use Ripl’s fonts. Don’t they test their apps? Don’t they check from the user side what works and doesn’t? The misleading part is they show all those images but don’t tell you they aren’t currently available. ✓ Nice app, glitchy post though!Well thought out and put together interface, pretty solid. Hefty price, but would probably be worth it for an in depth social campaign. I used text and photo animations I had created and saved to my phone as an instagram story, and they were all glitchy. They showed the final text overlay for a fraction of a second before the animation started, and then jumped back to the blank photo with the animation of the text overlay coming back in. Will be a home run for the right campaigns whenever this bug is fixed!.Version: 3.0.11

Every business does not use as many posts as others nor do they use the same features. That would be a business choice of each customer. ✓ Won’t Let Me Cancel ProI purchased the pro subscription a few years ago. Early 2018 I no longer needed the app and went to cancel. The subscription page told me to click the subscription I needed to cancel, so I did. Then the screen told me if I wanted to resubscribe, to click the subscription again. I left it at that, thinking I had successfully unsubscribes. Tonight, I happened to look at my subscriptions settings on iPhone, and to my dismay it told me I was still subscribed to Ripl!! I tried click to cancel but it only gave me the option of committing to get another year of Ripl. I literally have no options to cancel my $80 subscription. I looked at my bank statement and sure enough, I was charged last May. The app keeps telling me I will be charged again THIS May as well. ✓ Video could be way betterWhen I choose a few of my photos, create a video out of them with Ripl, maybe add one of their tunes, quality of the photos are completely lost. Don’t know why this happens but I feel like bad video quality is not acceptable nowadays and really hurts my brand. Also the text/banners used are also not crisp when uploaded, like they appear to be when you are choosing them. The last gripe I have is that I will pick the order of the photos for the video, for example pic 1, then 2, then pic 3. When it uploads to Instagram, Pic 2 is showing as the preview photo. Pic 2 also shows very briefly before continuing with the original order of photos that were picked for the video..Version: 3.1.8

Editing doesn’t offer many options. You can only edit the items already there, can’t add text or images, or even additional slides. Once I finally decided on one that was good enough for what I needed, I tried to save. The saved video is different than the one that plays in the app, so frustrating after all my work. After a post is saved, you have to make a duplicate to make an changes, instead of being able to just edit. Again, frustrating.
