✓ Not for everyoneIt's ok, and I use it to draw sketches rather that actual colouring, but the only problems are that it deletes your progress if you exit, and resets everything you've done if you don't immediately post it. It's also really glitchy, and lags, which ruin my strokes. Also, the fact that people can steal or 'repaint' your art is just unfair, I mean, I made an art price that took me hours to complete, 2 likes, then some repaint artist, (a person who repaints other peoples artworks instead of making their own art) reappoints my artwork, and they get 103 likes. How is that fair? Honestly it would be better for everyone if the 'repaint' feature was removed, and there were a lot more bug fixes..Version: 5.4.2

✓ It could be betterThis app is fun and good to do quietly, I do have to say the music is annoying and I’m glad u can turn it of. It would be better if u didn’t have to pay for some/most of the pictures and colours (or at least the good ones). It would be good if you were able to choose which one is your favourite ( in the challenges) by scrolling down to see all of them (not just choose one out of 2 at a time) like you do to see what others have done. It would be better if we could take a picture then colour it. This app is pretty good but can be better and these are just some improvements that would be nice to see in the next update..Version: 3.2.1

✓ Always crashes when adding FXI use an iPad with iOS 9. After finishing a colouring, when I select different effects, after a while the effects stop displaying correctly, and then after I keep clicking different effects, the whole app will suddenly gets stuck with the effect stuck loading and the bottom of the screen will have a flickering white box. This happens EVERY TIME and it's so annoying. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app but it still happens. It's a shame because otherwise I would have definitely given this app 5 stars. The colouring is very easy to do, there are such a wide variety of pictures to colour, and it's great that you frequently get new pictures added which are free to colour. I just wish I could add effects to a colouring without the app crashing all the time..Version: 2.1.3
✓ Old player who logged in latelyI started playing color therapy about 2 or 3 years ago and it was great as I progressed, seeing features unlock and getting more fun out of the app. Over a year ago I stopped playing for a break and just came back to the app to find how many features had been taken away and I’m very disappointed. Free players are no longer able to colour freely and have to use templates. I was looking forward to re-downloading this but I’m not happy at how much has gone. ✓ Loved it???Great app I would spend hours and hours coloring in great masterpieces but there are not a lot of great things as well. Once I was making something and finished and clicked the done button to post it then it froze I tried opening something else but then I realized it froze my whole phone!!!! When it unfroze it restarted the app and I looked and saw that it freaking undone all my work and didn’t even save it!!!! The very first time I got this app I realized you have to pay to get pictures that have stars and not just once you have to pay it monthly or weekly. But I like that you can color according on how you wanna color it but they should be more careful about where they place things because when your color a finger might slip and you press the button for the drag color so when you hopelessly drag you finger not realizing what happened the color you chose is half way across the coloring page. And earlier when I was talking about having to pay it’s not just the pictures it’s the colors to so if you do not want to pay you are stuck with limited colors and every time you accidentally move to a starred color it pops up that you should buy it. So if you made it this far do not download this app it may be great and everything but when you get mad because it did something stupid don’t act like I did not tell you it wouldn’t happen..Version: 4.4.1

✓ Very glitchyThis app is good, but it is SO GLITCHY. I have this app on my iPad and phone. When I got it on my iPad, there were no problems or glitches until about a year after I downloaded it. It was so glitchy that it pretty much kicked me off the app and bought me to my home screen. But it wasn’t just the app glitching. When I swiped the home screen, that was glitchy too! I didn’t think much of it, and I blamed it on my iPad getting old. Other apps on my iPad were glitchy too, but not as glitchy as Color Therapy. I recently got a phone, (my phone is a WEEK old) and the same thing is happening! But before I got this app on my phone, my phone was fine! I really don’t want to delete this app, because apart from the glitching it’s really good! But I might have to if the glitches get worse. Please help!.Version: 4.7.1

✓ Great but…This app is fun, but so much is wrong with it. First of all, the admin have WAY too much power and go on banning sprees. You can get banned for talking about mental health issues, violence (some people use this as a fanfic platform), etc. The worst part is that they don’t tell you why you got banned in the first place! They don’t tell you the rules on what you can or can’t post either. Second, it’s biased to the VIP users. 75% of the DTPs are vip users, and don’t get me wrong, they deserve it, but usually there are only two or three regular users who get it. The only free templates regular users can use are the daily ones that are only available for one day and the ones that are always free but those aren’t very fun. Finally, the membership is super overpriced. $15 a month comes out to $180 a year or about 50 cents a day. So if you want to actually be able to use the app, have fun paying enough to buy a week’s groceries for 3 people! This app is a cash grab. Usually on apps with a super expensive membership, there are no ads, right? Not with ColorTherapy! Ads. All. The. Time. ColorTherapy, if you want to keep you stop losing users, stop banning people for no reason. I don’t want one of your stupid auto replies, I want you to read this. Take it to heart. ✓ Colour Therapy : My ReviewWell, I typed up ‘Colouring’ in the search bar, and I chose to download Colour ‘Therapy’. After reading the positively glowing reviews, I decided to give it a try. It is great, the colouring palette is perfect, and there is a wide selection of free pictures, which you don’t often find in other colouring apps. However, I coloured a picture, and wanted to publish it. After signing up, I checked my e-mail to verify, but there was no email. I double-checked the spelling, it was correct. I waited some time for the e-mail, but I never received it. It is a valid e-mail, I use it often, but it didn’t work for ‘Colour Therapy’. I don’t know why, but I will continue to use ‘Colour Therapy’, although I cannot publish, because it has a great variety of pictures and colours..Version: 2.1.2
✓ Why is coloring how I like cost money?Now, I had this app about a year ago, and I was a pretty popular creator. But I deleted it because I didn’t really use it that often anymore. But, I wanted to get back into it, and boy, it changed. I was to broke to get VIP and was happy I could color MY OWN art with out it being someone else’s work. And I was happy doing that. But now they expect me to PAY to color something the way I like it? This app used to be a fun, cool, app where I could post what I love and be happy I did t have to worry about a monthly bill. ✓ Getting Slightly ImpatientI love this app, it’s nice to listen to calm music and color, but there are barely any pictures to color After a week or so of FINALLY making progress and getting most of the pictures in the CLASSIC book for free, you decided to go back to your selfish ways and refrain me from being able to color other pictures that aren’t worth me spending money on just to get your membership. I am getting a little cross, we should be able to color ALL the CLASSIC pictures, (and again I capitalize classic) for free. I hope you are able to actually read my complaint and give me a good reason for why you think we should pay for stuff that are literally classic, they are basic pictures that you won’t let us color. Which makes NO sense. I hope you don’t respond to me, with that mediocre auto response you do with everyone else and tell me you liked my feedback when I know you didn’t even freaking read it. ✓ 60$ a year? They are taking more then what they deserveThis is for people considering subscribing! I know the creators will ignore this and even if they did read it nothing would change so this is for you. I loved this app and I was subscribed for about a year but I had to unsubscribe for bills. And after unsubscribing I could no longer use tools besides paint bucket for challenges. I can do a limited amount of pics and tools that are not challenges but it’s basically useless to compete in challenges now when the only thing I can use is a stinking paint bucket. I felt like I was just thrown away. I’d rather pay once for a full experience instead of paying so much and then when I unsubscribe all of what I paid for doesn’t even matter because I won’t be able to use it anymore. An app like this isn’t worth $60 EVERY year. Because once you can’t pay that every year, they don’t care about you and all of what you paid for will be gone. I can buy new Xbox games for $60 once and get a full experience over and over again. All these phone apps are the same. ✓ Colour Therapy ratingI would say this is good! You can relax all day lying down colouring and don’t even need to use a simple pen! You can pay to be a VIP, you can just be famous and not a VIP. I’m not a VIP but I will say it’s a bit boring because I would say that if you are not a VIP the only colourings you can do is the not brilliant free drawings and the new a day but if you didn’t play like a year ago and last year they sent a good drawing out only if you are a VIP you could do it! Please change the VIP If you are a VIP you can colour every drawing and use every single pen whereas if your not VIP then you can hardly colour something good and you only get 3 pens out of like 12 (which is- normal pen, air pen and fill). So boring. I would not recommend this app if you don’t want to be a VIP because it’s expensive! I hope this was helpful! ✓ Good but…It’s a good app that offers a soothing and fun experience, it serves its purpose on being calming whilst offering a large variety of art to color. Unfortunately, this app freezes and lags whilst coloring/publishing art. It causes an awkward and irritating pause to what could’ve been a calming moment, and has resulted in many artist leaving the app. I can’t recommend the app on that basis, the constant bugs take away from the soothing experience that this app claims to offer, I’d recommend finding an alternative..Version: 5.4.2
✓ Not HappyFirstly I paid to have extra colours and pictures but the app is not worth it now the updates have happened. I feel the developers think that the number of people are the top of the list. Those that pay are not considered as the challenges in this app is done on a voting basis and the amount of children on an adult colouring app vote for pictures that don’t follow the rules of the challenge therefore the wrong colouring gets into the best top 100 and those that do follow the challenges don’t get anywhere. I have learnt so much and enjoyed the app so much but if you download this don’t pay for anything extra as it’s not worth it. I will be cancelling my subscription and will be looking for something else that values its users and not about numbers and money because that’s what it has come down to. ✓ Great but restrictiveI had this app a while ago and downloaded again recently, I found that the app is now very restrictive if you're not willing to pay quite a large amount of money for a yearly subscription. You don't even get access to half of the colours (I remember that you could do certain challenges like post 5 pics to Facebook and get a free palette) and the number of free prints have been cut in half. I loved this app and I still love the social aspect but I'm very disappointed that I feel like purchases are a necessity to fully enjoy this app 😭 (developer response is very disappointing, they obviously don't really care that they are pushing purchases on people).Version: 2.0.4

✓ Thanks for ruining my lifeI used to love CT. In fact my one year anniversary of getting it is coming up but now that probably won’t happen. The app blamed a user who hasn’t been on for 9 months. They said that that person banned me. When really it was the user ColorTherapy. I can now no longer do anything. Heck I can’t even post. The reason they banned me was because I write stories. For some reason ColorTherapy hates people doing something that could give them a great future! I now HATE ColorTherapy. If the AppStore or ColorTherapy reads this (or both) please fix this because a lot of great users will be leaving due to the fact that they can no longer write. We as the users have a right! Your banning those that write stories when when you first added “invite to repaint” I was invited to repaint something with a naked person. But did you care? No! Because that person is a V.I.P so you don’t want to get rid of them because then you would lose your money! You made a post about being happy when you can’t let your users be happy. I’m only 10 years old why would I ever making a story that’s inappropriate?! I’m writing down things that I’m probably going to turn into actual books. ColorTherapy was my life. ✓ No longer fun😢This is no longer the app to which I originally subscribed, and which I enjoyed immensely for a long, long time. Honestly, I was addicted, and really enjoyed coloring the first-class pictures it offered and the ease of navigation. I enjoyed the interaction with the other subscribers and loved the contests. Then it began to change. It was no longer the relaxing, coloring app that it started out to be. I was gone for about a week and when I returned, the app had been totally revamped and I began to have trouble navigating the site. Instead of a relaxing coloring app, it became very stressful just to find tools. While I did enjoy the tutorials in the beginning, and followed them faithfully, they later began to take on a different dimension, some of which were not to the least of my interest. The contests became more complex, and instead of simply submitting our pictures, we were supposed to vote for the works of others. In other words, I was now becoming not only stressed, but feeling bored with my options. I have never written an app review before, but I feel as if the developers need to know that they have quickly turned this long-running “relaxing” app into a stress inducing app that only can be fun and relaxing for a professional artist. ✓ Used to love it.I’m a teenager that suffers from extreme depression and anxiety. i used to play this game all the time because it calmed me and kept me happy. i used to recommend it to all my friends. they used to give you a bunch of free pages to color, and then you could use tokens to unlock purchasable pages. if you didn’t have enough tokens (10 tokens each page) you could buy more or watch 30 sec ads. you’d get 10 tokens for each ad you watched. i deleted the app for a few months because i ran out of storage space. i just downloaded it once again, and i’m extremely disappointed in all of it. first of all, they only give you like 50 free pages. which seems like a lot.. but they go so fast and they are all very similar pages. secondly, they give you 50 free tokens and that’s it; which means you only can unlock 5 pages. if you run out of tokens, there’s no longer an ad option. you either have to keep coloring the same free pages over and over, or you have to pay for a subscription package. you get three options; • $60 / year • $9.99 / month • 7 day free trial then $5.99 / week these prices are completely ridiculous and expensive. i don’t know about you, but i can’t afford those prices. not a lot of people can. which means a lot of people no longer have an outlet for their anxiety. When I go onto colour therapy their is a great layout and it’s easy to find things but when you click on a picture it only gives you the option to repaint someone else’s design unless you have vip! This really annoys me as their are so many cute pictures that I want to colour in. ALSO the fact that you need vip to unlock basically all the tools except for four, because what if I want to draw hair and I don’t know how to so I decide to go on the tool section when I’m colouring and look for the tool that lets you draw hair with one stroke of the pen, and yet again it’s VIP! ✓ This app is alrightI think this app is alright because I like the creativity with the paintings that people have and it’s a very unproblematic but I don’t like the fact that you have to have a subscription if you want to be able to color some of the painting and I don’t like the fact that you have to pay money there are some kids in the app that would like to be able to color every painting they can but they can’t because they can’t pay which I think is very unfair I downloaded this app so it can help me calm down with stress the only thing that it did was give me more stress because I would like to be able to color every painting I can for free but I can’t because I don’t have money like that and money doesn’t just fall from tress I can’t just go outside to a tree and ask for a 100 dollar bill or a 500 dollar bill. Having just re-downloaded this app I was shocked to find that now to get everything I have to subscribe, having already paid for the app!!!! So now I get next to no pictures to colour or palettes to use, where before I had access to them all without subscribing. I refuse to go on paying again and again for something I’ve already paid for once, that is absolutely crazy to me!!!! ✓ Annoying ad in VIPI love your app and bought VIP but I still get one ad when I leave your app while coloring and then come back (its for one of your other apps) its really annoying because I like listening to my own music when coloring but this ad stops my music from playing then when I go back to my music app (youtube music) and press play then come back to the color therapy app The add pops up again causing my music to stop again and it’s an endless circle causing me not to be able to listen to music from another app on the same device. Since I’m paying for VIP this should be fixed. I can’t be the only one this happens to… l'd give you 5 stars if it was fixed. I'd be happy to send a video of the issue..Version: 5.4.3
✓ It’s GreatIt’s overall an awesome app; awesome community, awesome layout. I especially love the ability to have line-free templates, making it easier for Freehand artists. However, I have a few problems. 1) since the new update, scrolling through comments has been REALLY difficult. Like, so difficult that it was stressing me out. 2) again, since the new update, pressing the return button while editing a post has for some reason been disabled. So it’s now really difficult to edit posts. I know the app is supposed to be stress-free, and this is really really frustrating. I personally would find it really helpful if the Return button would be re-added, not only when editing posts, but also when posting them. 3) CT seems to get confused. I was banned once for doing a Recommendations post, that simply mentioned that “this certain book/movie contains violence and bad language.” And while I understand that I didn’t think that through, and probably should have been more careful, I do NOT think it was worth banning me for. 4) Freehand artists should be judged equally to the normal artists in challenges. The system seems a bit biased. Again, overall...an absolutely outstanding app...I’d highly recommend. Most inappropriate content gets deleted, so your children (if that’s why you are reading the reviews) are totally safe. There is an awesome, supportive and kind community. Perfect for pretty much any age range. But PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the Return button XD.Version: 5.0
✓ Pretty Amazing but have to PayI love this app, it’s a really great space to colour and de-stress. There is a wide variety of images to colour, with the option to choose your own or repaint someone else’s. There are daily challenges, for example #mintturquoisepink; so you would colour a picture in those colours and it would be voted on by the community. They are constantly adding amazing updates that all drastically improve some element of the game. However, there are a limited number of pictures you can use your own colours for, others you have to use someone else’s design. I would definitely give 5 stars if they made all (or at least more!) pictures free to colour. I find myself doing challenges simply so I can colour something originally. Now I do understand that you do have to be making money in some way, but the most BIGGEST disadvantage ( in my opinion) is how many things are free! The number of things you have to pay for is UNBELIEVABLE!!! First of all is the pictures you have to pay for all the pictures except for one section of pictures which has only about 15 or 16 of them that I'm not very interested in. Second of all is the colours there are about 17/18 sections of colours and less than half of them is free! And finally the tools -airbrush,pen,glitter,ect- most of them as well aren't even free. last time I had this app was about 3 years and lots of things were free but now?!!! that is why I rated it 2 stars ⭐️⭐️ anyway hope you enjoy this app! When you made it so you had to pay for A LOT of the pictures instead of just paying for deluxe my respect for the game went down. ✓ Almost... but BEWARE!I mostly enjoy this app. It has great coloring tools and palettes and I love the different effects you can add to your artwork. The challenges are inspiring and fun. There are a ton of great images to color and many choices about colors and tools that make it easier to experiment and be creative. However, this app is nearly completely ruined by the fact that you are advertised to about Atlantic Records artists. They create coloring pages and challenges to get you to color and spread these images of these new artists. This is what keeps me from making a subscription purchase of this app. In fact, if it continues, I will be deleting the app as it is no longer fun and therapeutic when I am being so blatantly manipulated and advertised to. I think I could tolerate it if they didn't turn the AR coloring pages into a challenge encouraging everyone to color them and spread them around. ✓ Going downhill fastIt has some. Sry good features like being able to communicate with other users and get inspiration from others works of art. I’ve learnt a lot since I first started. BUT they have made some very poor decisions lately with there challenge choice, templates and lowering the age so we now have children using it who don’t understand what challenges are all about. Colortherapy are not being honest with the updates as everyone’s system keeps crashing and they keep blaming Apple when it is they who are being dishonest. Their communication about changes problems and updates are very poor. Unless they SORT THESE ISSUES OUT I will not be renewing my subscription. People have already demanded refunds and left. So. ✓ You banned me?Hey I’d just like to say thank you for taking the time to read my review! So I have played this game before and I did really like it, but then I was randomly banned? I did nothing, nothing at all! I personally think your banning system makes it too easy to ban someone for no reason at all, you can just ban people for without warning! And maybe if you could change it to writing down and telling you the reason for requesting a block that could help. And I know if you respond you’ll just say “Please contact our support” which is all good and fine except I can’t contact your support and honestly think if I can contact you from here than we can settle it here. ✓ Let me clarify my star rating...RESPONSE-I’m directing my comment towards the creator(s) of the app-the ones who decide what images are provided and what images are used for contests-I don’t need nor want to color images about socially divisive issues! There are sooo many other images that could be created/available for us to color without bringing all of that in. Please leave these charged issues out and make the change asap-You can do better for the many that use this app and be a calm in the chaos! I come to this app to Relax-to escape from the craziness and chaos of the world, and often that’s exactly what happens-I color and relax and for a little while get yo focus on something that usually relieves some anxiety and stress-BUT...please leave all of the political and socially divisive issues off of the app and at the very least, out of the contests/competitions!!! I don’t want to get on the app thinking I’m going to have my own little bit of “color therapy” as the app is named, only to be bombarded by issues that cause myself and many others stress, anxiety, worry, panic, etc. The app is perfectly fine without what seems to be an ever increasing amount of, for lack of a better word, propaganda. ✓ Disturbing music!So I was about to finish off a drawing I had been doing for a few days when I heard some groaning. It sounded strait out of a zombie movie! I took my headphones off and the sound went away, and as soon as I put them back on the music came back! The exact sounds where something like aplastic bottle with beads inside of it. Something about it was jut...off! The other thing I heard was the zombie groaning. I am actually scared to go back in because I checked my settings and my my jukebox was muted... I can’t draw anything good with background music and since I’m on iPad, I have to have a smaller music tab, so I have that disturbing music playing in the background. Please check this to make sure nothing bad is happening. I actually thought about deleting the game just because of this, and if I do happen to hear the music again that is what I will have to do! I am not lying about this, but please fix this if it is a just a glitch or something bad..Version: 4.2.2
✓ DeletedI had this app but it wasn’t very nice. I went into fantasy but it wasn’t fantasy. The fairies were dark and not very nice,no unicorns nothing you could call fantasy. Also when i opened the game it went to an add then once it was opened it had given you the start of the app instead of you being able to pick the colour you want to use and when you finished the colour it starts the next colour instead of you being able to. Lastly like a lot of others are saying about stolen pictures, Ihave insured this so many times that I have deleted this app.Version: 5.4.3
✓ My sayingHay I am one of the many people who play this game and it is the best game ever! I love everything about and am not a vip but enjoy every moment Whalen I play it. There are usually no problems which it except when there is no internet but that is definitely not the games falt . I have shown this game to many of my friends and family and we now all play it. But what I do not like is that there is no picture to draw really. Mine are lol locked because I am not vip and I have done most part pictures except fo the ones I do not like. And the free ones that come every day some don’t like and if I do they become locked after a day. But I do enjoy the A’s for that I give it 4 stars..Version: 4.4
✓ Great tools but horrible picturesI have been using ColorTherapy for about 4 years. It was great in the beginning but has gone terribly downhill. Their challenges are repeated over & over & over again, and the new pictures released to color are the same thing repeatedly as well. Do not use, or purchase this app, if you want to color anything other than people. Every challenge is based around fashion, or makeup, outfits, footwear, jewelry, nails, different odd colored skin, fairy and mermaids, odd eye colors, jackets, sunglasses, different colored hair, hats, and the list goes on & on. Also parents beware of all the questionable pictures and just posts of written words that can be offensive. ColorTherapy’s monitoring is lackluster at best and there are no ramifications if a user is expelled. They just create another account, even stating that they do so, and are allowed to continue. The app states it’s an “Adult Coloring Book” which couldn’t be further from the truth. Over the last year the app has had so many issues with crashing & freezing and has yet to be fixed. When I did try to contact support I received an automated response which really shows how much they care. The reason for 2 stars is that for premium subscribers the tools are great. ColorTherapy has the competition beat in that arena. However, which I do realize, some users only want to color other people. If that is the case then this app is for you… and you don’t mind all the freezing & crashing!.Version: 5.4.2
