✓ Sneaky automatic subscription modelThe app quality is perfectly fine given its limited scope . It did the job I required of it: blurring put a few photos. However the app will automatically convert your purchase from a free to a full £9.99 subscription without your direct authorisation and irrespective of whether or it you have deleted the app. If you do download this , be sure to immediately go to your subscription management page and cancel the automatic premium subscription . I had to jump through hoops to get my refund . Read the T&C’s carefully ladies and gents. Some of these devs are out to exploit you..Version: 1.25.1

✓ Used to be goodSo I’ve used this app for good while, it used to be good until yet again another set of developers get greedy and try to force customers into “subscription” base payment. Really, you want customers to pay a subscription for a simple app that blurs photos. Pathetic. I order to try and get customers to upgrade they put long, I mean loooonnnnnggggggg adverts on and disable the “x” button so you can’t get rid of the add. I will be deleting this app now. ✓ How to edit invisible photos??This app is atrocious. When you load an image, it flickers in and out of view before going blank. For most of the ones I started with, it would disappear unless I touched the image, which would then blur parts that I didn’t want blurred. If you try to zoom in or out, the image would flash (holy epilepsy trigger?!) like a strobe and only rains visible for the first edit you make before disappearing again. This ish ain’t worth the obnoxious ads it requires. Go elsewhere. (Used on iPhone 12 mini with up-to-date iOS).Version: 2.6.0

✓ I used to love this app, but...This recent decision to make the app a subscription-based service is beyond ridiculous. Who in their right mind would willingly agree to pay an annual fee just to use a few mediocre blurring tools? I get that $12 isn’t a WHOLE lot of money, but c’mon...seriously?! No one is hurting THAT bad to blur their photos! What makes this even more insulting is that they gutted 90% of the content that was PREVIOUSLY FREE with little to no warning beforehand. ✓ I don’t know what changed!I used to use this app to blur sensitive information from my Instagram photos and it would do so seamlessly. Very beautifully, and it was as if the writing was not there. Today, I tried using the same feature and now it’s not giving the same effect. It’s the equivalent to just blotting out the information with a brush tool. Too opaque and distracting. Even after playing with the features, and different strengths, the slightly see through option would still show the writing underneath… what is the point of this?.Version: 2.8.0
✓ Price wasn’t advertised$10/period to use app, self renewing. A good app on the app store costs $3.99 FIXED one-time fee. With this, you pay like 100X more what any app should be worth here. ✓ A little disappointedI enjoy using this app. But every time I open the app it comes up with an ad, then right after the ad it says come but the premium. Also, when I first got this app I thought it would be select a photo, tap the bits you want blurred, and it would do it for you. In the app you have to like zoom close to the photo to go close to the edges and colour it in. Mabey that’s just me who didn’t relies but beware of that. I like that there are different customs and blurs. I was a little disappointed though when I found out there weren’t many at all to use because to be able to use them you have to buy the premium..Version: 1.25.1
✓ No auto background blurringMany blur apps require manually brushing over the background to blur it, doing so will inevitably smudge the edge of the subject, and it’s very time consuming. This app is no exception. There shall be 2 viable solutions: (1) auto detect foreground and blur the background, (2) overlap a shape over the subject, typically a circle, an ellipse, or rectangle, then blur whatever is outside the shape. I hope the developer could make improvement..Version: 2.7.0
✓ Works fine. Overpriced.This will give you a good variety of blur effects. Due to these being reliable and effective, three stars. IMO it would be fair priced as a one time fee. ✓ Robbed me of £10I downloaded this app just to see what it was like and deleted it within the day . I’ve ended up being charged £9.99 of which I don’t even have the app or ever intend to use it ! ✓ What a disappointmentThis app used to be so handy for adding quick blurs to images, in various styles. It was free, had ads every now and then, and an ad-removal option for a small price. Now it's like every other utility app out there. Free, but anything beyond the minimum is locked behind a ridiculously overpriced subscription model. £9.99 per year? What changed to require this? The app survived just fine as it was with no subscription. This is pure greed, especially since you only get 3 blur types in the free version, whereas you could get all of them before. ✓ Works - but confusingThe first time I opened a picture to edit, it took me to a crop screen. Only after I chose to crop did it take me to the screen where I could choose to blur. Also, that initial screen didn't look nice. I prefer the Blur Background app by Joowong(?). The interface looks nicer and it starts you off straight at blurring. More intuitive..Version: 1.14.0
✓ Does the job...Pretty hard to handle though. I find it hard layering the blurs and the representation of the softening brush tool is really hard to use. I'd buy that app otherwise..Version: 1.14.0
