LEGAL ISSUES SUPPORTED

Traffic tickets and traffic misdemeanors is OTR’s bread and butter. But with a national network of over 1,000 partner attorneys, the OTR platform handles all types of cases on a daily basis:

- Traffic tickets (speeding, cell phone, HOV violations, stop sign, red light, etc.)
- Traffic misdemeanors (Racing, suspended license, negligent driving, reckless driving, etc.)
- DUI / DWI
- Marijuana possession
- Drug paraphernalia
- Public intoxication
- Public indecency
- Prostitution
- You get the idea…

OTR and its partner attorneys have also handled some fun ones: Driving a tractor down the wrong side of the highway and driving butt naked.

WHY YOU NEED OFF THE RECORD

— Best Value —
Legal fees to fight a traffic ticket vary greatly. At OTR, our lawyers charge a low flat fee with no hidden costs.

— Smart Match —
This is our magic ingredient. We don’t just match you with any random attorney. Our proprietary Smart Match approach analyzes past data and trends to match you with the traffic attorney most likely to win your case.

— Experienced —
We work only with the most successful, highly rated traffic attorneys in each city.

TO FIGHT OR NOT TO FIGHT

— Money —
On average, a single speeding ticket will cause your insurance premiums to increase by $30/month for three years. That's a total of $1,080! It gets worse if you have multiple tickets or if you’re a young driver. Contesting your ticket is the financially responsible thing to do. And since OTR gives you a full refund if your case is lost, you have nothing to lose.

— Jobs —
More and more jobs require you to have a clean driving record. Don’t let a tarnished driving record limit your opportunities. Always fight your tickets!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

— Will my ticket be contested by an actual, licensed lawyer? —
Yes! You will work directly with a real, experienced, licensed lawyer in your local area.

— How much does it cost? —
Download this app and get an instant quote. Your quote will depend on a number of factors (i.e. state and county where you received the ticket, violations you were charged with, the type of license you hold, etc.).

— How does my lawyer get paid? —
Our partner attorneys set their own fees, so the instant quote you see is the lawyer’s actual fee. Once you book a case, the fee you pay goes directly to your lawyer. You will not have to pay your lawyer any additional funds.

Off The Record: Ticket Lawyer Pros

Amazing resource for people who don’t have time to fight ticketsI was told about this app by some friends after I got my first ticket in 6 years. I knew I couldn’t defer it but didn’t want to risk fighting it by myself. I was also moving and going on vacation all within a month and had no free time to do anything. So I uploaded my ticket and a traffic attorney got back to me very quickly. I didn’t have to do anything but upload the ticket, then tell my attorney what option I wanted through the court. I ended up getting a 15 MPH over ticket dropped to a non-moving violation. Doesn’t affect my insurance or my job! Most of the negative reviews on here are people who think they can just upload the ticket and be done, or people with extraneous tickets/circumstances who wouldn’t be able to get out of the ticket anyways. As long as it’s a reasonable ticket, the attorneys through this app can help!.KillerKeetonVersion: 5.0.4

Happy customerOff the Record is a fantastic app that I highly recommend for anyone who needs legal assistance. The app is incredibly user-friendly and makes it easy to connect with experienced attorneys in a variety of legal fields. One of the best features of Off the Record is its simplicity. The app is straightforward to navigate, and it only takes a few minutes to create an account and submit your case details. Once you've submitted your information, the app matches you with attorneys who specialize in your specific legal issue. I was impressed with the quality of attorneys that Off the Record connected me with. Each attorney I spoke with was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely interested in helping me with my case. They took the time to listen to my concerns and provided me with valuable advice and guidance. Another great aspect of Off the Record is its affordability. The app offers a free initial consultation with an attorney, which is a fantastic opportunity to discuss your case and determine if you want to proceed further. If you decide to hire an attorney through Off the Record, the app offers competitive pricing and flexible payment options. Overall, Off the Record is an excellent app for anyone in need of legal assistance. It's user-friendly, connects you with experienced attorneys, and offers affordable pricing. I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in need of legal advice or representation..Sabby2283Version: 21.0.6

Off The Record: Ticket Lawyer Cons

I was optimistic...I was very optimistic about using this app. It sounded like a great option, and I saw so many great reviews about it on here. They also show the 92% favorable outcome statistic on the app. I used this app to fight my ticket, (I paid about 150) banking on the guarantee that if they couldn’t help me out I would get a refund. However I just got word on my ticket, and basically the attorney showed up, saw the officer was there, and then entered a plea of no contest. (He didn’t fight the ticket at all). I asked for a refund, but was told that since they had “secured” traffic school for me, that I was ineligible. They didn’t secure traffic school for me, that was already an option to start with for my ticket! So in their book I’m part of that 92% favorable outcome, even though they didn’t make my situation any better. To me that’s not a favorable outcome. I called their customer service, but the dude on the phone just hid behind their money back guarantee details that say if they get traffic school for you then you are ineligible for a refund. The guy was worthless on the phone. So I’d say unless you want someone to just show up to court in the hopes that the cop doesn’t show, don’t waste your money on this service..WagonlifeVersion: 5.0.4

If I could give less than zero stars I would. The attorney never communicated with me. I have never felt more in the dark in my entire life. Not only that, when I finally got a hold of the attorney by calling their office she told me it was an arraignment hearing then later I got an email saying I lost. I have wound up paying way more for the lawyer retainer and the ticket with the traffic school then I would have paid had I not used this app. The lack of communication I received, the fact that I shoveled out more money for an attorney, the ticket and for traffic school, I would give this app negative stars if I could. Don’t say congrats on getting my ticket points reduced to zero is a moot point when the traffic school absolves the point. This app and attorney did me no favors, cost me way more then the little help it was worth, and I had no communication through the site, with the attorney, or a way to contact the app for help. I had to go on google to find the attorney and badger them for answers that turned out to be false. Don’t be fooled, read the fine print, I doubt you’ll ever get your money back from that money back guarantee. You'll also probably never hear from your lawyer. Don’t waste your time there, go somewhere else..Musikfrek824Version: 3.1.1
