✓ Most Understandable Bible I Have Read !!I love this Bible and how easy it is to understand. I love how it has helped me to understand the Bible and truly brings it to life. I love how the audio explains what she is reading and how I can follow reading as she reads it out loud. I also love that you can make notes and how it comes with 5 highlighters to highlight the scriptures that really jump out at you. ✓ Bible AppI really like this one. I have had several and this is the best so far. The one problem I have is she miss pronounced words. Or things that are supposed to be 7 1/2 she says 71/2 because there is no space between the 7 and the one. It would be nice to have celebrity readers reading people who are very good at reading and use their voices. People who have done auto books and narrative things like that. That would be a wonderful idea. Something to break up the monotony of the same voice all the time. It makes me sleepy. I don’t want to be sleeping. I want to be learning! I was literally about to snatch my hair out from the roots if I had to spend another day trying to translate or decipher through the ridiculously, outdated words / word arrangements in the KJV Bible Apps. As I compare this to the others, I would have to say that it's my 2nd favorite, right after the "Bible Gateway" app. My only complaint is that while reading the Bible in this app, I don't think you can simply "click" on the book title on top of the page to switch books (like moving from the book of Genesis to the book of Luke). You have to click on the menu button, then on "table of contents," and then scroll through to find what you're looking for. It's not a "huge" deal. It just makes it hard to keep up with pastors that move from verse to verse at the speed of crack. I personally like to set the font to Baskerville, in dark mode, with the "page turning" mode on. One con of reading NLT is some people say the ESV is more accurate to the original text but if NLT is easier to follow start with it. ✓ Small error in text format causes speaking to runI found a small error in text formatting when a SPACE is missing at the end of sentences; - if there is no SPACE at the end of a sentence, following the period that denotes the end of that sentence, the speech synthesizer does not pause to end a sentence. The speech just keeps talking, skipping the pause to mark the end of sentence, and just speaks the next words in the next sentence-running together and making little sense. The app is excellent, the simplified modern english translation is very clear and understandable, making the Bible much easier to read and listen to. The speech is a very nice touch and a great aid to those that would prefer to listen. Great job! Thank-you! ( I hope you can add a space after the periods at the end of all sentences so the speech synthesizer will pause when it should. There aren’t many missing spaces but you can’t miss them during speech.).Version: 5.1
✓ Wonderful appI’ve been using this app for several months now and I absolutely love it. It’s easy to use with my morning bible study. As I am getting older it helps a great deal that the font size can be increased. The audio option is a dream! I can have the Bible read to me as I am completing other tasks during the day. ✓ New living bibleI love this translation for many reasons one reason is that it is easy to understand but it is not for dumb people meaning it is not a kids version it just give the right amount of tweaking to make it good for kids but still for real and very educational. Another reason I love this translation is that it does not leave out any information as many bibles do. ✓ Wonderful NLT bible appThis app is a wonderful on the go version of the NLT bible. My only complaints are that you can not copy more than one verse at a time (or at least I haven't been able to figure it out), or highlight multiple verses at one time. As I like to share or save multiple verses at once it gets cumbersome to try and achieve this with this app. Other than that this app is golden!.Version: 4.5
