✓ Good Chill GameI've been playing this game to satisfy my Animal Crossing urges until I can get a new 3DS and I also love Last Day of Works' games. There's a lot to do in a day for a free game and it's easy to get in-game money. And your villagers don't die from starvation if you ignore them for days like in Virtual Family. My only beef is that there are never any new faces once you max out the town beauty. It would be neat if the villagers aged and died or "retired" or simply moved away so someone new could move in and you'd get to see fresh faces. I also wish the men in this game were less...lumpy and that all the villagers didn't talk so stupidly, or at least more variety; I just want to actually LIKE my neighbors 😆. Also if the clothing actually looked good so I would want to collect them. But that's all just looks. The gameplay and how relaxing this game is is great..Version: 0.7.14
✓ Loved it! Has so much potentialSuch a cute, clean little game. Has a few glitches but great graphics and story line. Has so much potential to move forward. This is something that me and my 11 yr old can play together, with absolutely NO violence, sexual or adult content, drug usage, magic/witchcraft or spells! No profanity, bullying or adult relationships. It’s actually a very clean cute and enjoyable little game. Which is probably why they have never finished it or updated it! ✓ It’s sad to see such a potential game stopped developingI played the game many years ago, by that time I found this game extremely engaging. You can explore in the map catch bugs and mine orbs, or farm and plant beautiful decorations for your town. There are NPCs in stores who have personality, you can choose your main character, customize your own housings. It is absolutely a potential game by the time it was developed, it even reminds me of the popular game ‘Animal Crossing’ by Nintendo (suspecting they probably played this game before). Unfortunately the developers kind of given up on this game and stopped adding features, it will definitely be a popular game to play even on nowadays if they keep updating, on game mode, NPC, Customize system, 3D models, Maps e.t.c. I would definitely recommend this game, and I will definitely keep playing if there could be updates, or a Virtual Town 2. ✓ Honest 5 starsI’ve always enjoyed pretty much every game that you guys have made, you ace unique life simulation games mixed with some challenge while still making them a relaxing experience and this game is no exception. This is probably my favorite game you have made, I love literally everything about it. I love the way it looks, I love the way it plays, I love the puzzles and little daily challenges as well as cleaning up the town and making it more beautiful. And you never disappoint with the collecting, I love collecting the bugs and minerals and seeing what hybrid plants I can make. Unlocking new areas is also very rewarding, some might complain of the waiting time to construct areas but the time makes it more exciting for me. The sound design is also very nice, the ambience adds to this being one of the most relaxing games that I’ve played from you. I’d recommend it to anyone that likes life simulation games. Honestly I wouldn’t be opposed to actually living in this little town! 👍🏻 Also I’m not sure if you did this on purpose or if it is a coincidence, but where I lived it was raining all day and it also rained in the game. Today where I live it snowed and when I opened the game it was snowing for my tiny town too! If you did program this I love it, it’s so cool!.Version: 0.7.14
✓ Pretty goodI’ve played this game on and off for a few years. I don’t see very much of a difference each time. I will say that it isn’t as buggy as it once was and everything runs a lot smoother. However, it seems like the duties went down to only three to two times a day. I remember I would get tasks frequently. Without them, I feel like there isn’t really anything to do in the game, especially because a lot of the tasks are timed, so you have to wait a few days for this thing to finish and what not. Plus it can be annoying to make money in the game without the tasks. The tools break within a few uses, which means you’re spending hundreds on the tools. I do believe this is a fun game though. But it most definitely could use some improvement. Especially with the townsfolk! 🤎.Version: 0.7.14
✓ Soooo addictive!I am usually on this game every hour.... honestly, you kind of have to be bc you have to check on your citizens. The game is in real time. I love games where you have to interact with other characters and choose what you want to say. The only thing I’d really like for you guys to “change/fix” is I’d like there to be a little more dialogue. The characters say the same exact thing. They are actually really rude and dismissing of the mayors no matter how high their love bar gets for you. I think it gets kind of lonely for the mayor/me bc I feel like I’m making the town look nice and planting the food and they aren’t appreciative. Also I think more businesses should open up, like the town should expand some. I could go on and on about how I love this game.... ✓ Amazing gameThis game is so much fun! There is so much to do to keep you busy. I love games like this. Yes, the game is a bit older so the graphics are bit outdated but that doesn’t stop me from playing. In fact it’s great that the graphics aren’t to crazy so it makes the game run very smooth. And adopting the kids is always fun. I actually just redownloaded the game because I used to play it all the time when I was younger on my tablet and I got so much nostalgia thinking about it so I redownloaded it and I am obsessed again. ✓ The story?(Contains spoilers)I had this game on my old iPad a couple of years ago, and got it on my new phone. I enjoyed playing it the first time, and many of my childhood memories are tied to your games. I played this game for about a month and rebuilt all of the buildings and got the note from the circle and took it to the museum and all, but nothing happened after that. I went through some old ldw forums and sites, and apparently the story was supposed to continue in an update. The last info I got from those forums were from 2016 and I don’t know if that update came or not. I know it’s been years since anyone played this game, but foes anyone know if the story is complete or not? Any information, if really old, is welcome..Version: 0.7.14
✓ Thoughts on abandoned gameI have played this game many times over the years and was never disappointed and enjoyed the content. But as a person who has seen gaming on phones grow I think sadly I know why it was abandoned. In short, it’s completely free. It’s rare these days to see a game like this free with no ads or micro-transactions. This app may not even be free if released today. 99% of the time the app cost money, has in app purchases, or pop-up ads. Sometimes it can have all of those things. Somewhere a line was crossed and money became more important than the enjoyment of the people playing it. At least that’s how most feel..Version: 0.7.14

✓ Virtual Town Cinema still no projectionist.How can I fix this on iPad Air? Already wrote ldw. Nothing in machines as can’t view movie. Is there a quest I missed? It always worked on my last iPad. Also, suggest important things...1) a pause game button and 2) stackable inventory of same item with ability to choose how many you want to sell. ie: inventory has one slot with 10 caterpillars but you only want to sell 4 leaving 6 for townies. Just saying this as last iPad was playing and some things are “seasonal” but townie wanted an out of season item. It would be nice to have a log out of Facebook option as well. ✓ Wonderful Game, I Love it! Fun for ANY AGE.I'm a great fan of Last Day of Work Games (LDW): I adored the whole series of Virtual Villagers and also both different versions of Virtual Families. I am enjoying Virtual Town as well though I have only played it for a week so far -- right now a bridge is being built over the river for access to land development in the northern area. There is a dreamlike quality to LDW games as the soothing background music is close to a reverie and the graphics are an artistic and pretty version of real life... avoiding the gritty reality of war games, zombie attacks etc. (though the latter may not be real yet where you live, lol.) This pleasant game focuses on small town development in a fun easygoing manner with simple tasks and help from townspeople. The in-game purchases are reasonably priced for me and not greedy-guts-grabbing like in many apps. Also, there are short tasks where you can earn money. For me, my favourite parts are the artistic activities like decorating your home and yard, improving the public botanical garden, creating hybrid flowers, enriching the museum (which has interesting learning there too), dressing your avatar (who can be a male or female mayor) and beautifying the surroundings. There is adoption of a child if desired and simple interaction with other citizens. The game would be further enhanced if one's main character could enjoy times with a particular girlfriend or boyfriend but that may come in an update. Please note that this game moves at a relaxing, gentle pace but to my thinking, that is part of its delightful charm. FIVE stars *****.Version: 0.7.14

I really like the small details in it, like the fully functional town clock. the cinema to watch other game trailers, instead of shoving them in your face like other games. ✓ Loving it so far!This is such a cute game! However, i've only just started out and it seems like theres not a lot to do in this game. I find myself constantly just wandering around looking for bugs that arent even there because theres nothing else to do. As most people have said, this company doesnt seem to update their apps, but i figured i would try to give suggestions anyway. It would be sooo awesome if you could get married and have your own kids instead of adopting all the time. ✓ Bugs?Absolutely LOVE the game. It gets pretty addicting after a while. One thing that seems to keep happening is that if I exit the app and switch to something real quick (I.e responding to a text real quick and then reentering the game without closing the window) it sometimes gets glitchy. Like I’ll have my mayor walking somewhere and it just gets somewhat laggy. Nothing major to the point where I can’t play, but it does get slightly irritating. Also people keep talking about how you can go to the cinema and watch movies (ads) and obtain prizes by doing so, but every time I attempt to “see a movie” it always says something about the projectionist not being ready yet? ✓ LDW always rocksI own and have played several of the Last Day of Work games and have never been disappointed. I did definitely prefer the old way of doing things - I personally hate the "In-App Purchase" model but that seems to be the way everyone is doing things these days. I am new at this one, having just downloaded it today, and after a few hours of play it seems to be living up to their usual standards. One thing I love about LDW games is that -for me, at least- they almost never crash, the company generally stays on top of their updates. Any time I am looking for a "new" game to play, I always search them first. The game is fantastic, the graphics are better than any other, and it is highly addictive. The one thing I may change on this game is to make the town not be that bad overnight. ✓ Pretty goodI really like this game. It's fun but only until you finish the parts there are to the quest thing. Once you finish the parts of the quest, you're pretty much just cutting grass, planting food, and getting stuff for the town's people. As you get further into the game it starts to be more like, time Consuming too. There is more stuff you need to get for your villagers, and the food runs out faster. I feel like the grass grows a bit too quickly and literally everywhere. It takes like 30-40 minutes to cut down all the grass, pick up all the trash, dig up then bury the holes, do the daily job things like pulling out weeds, making sure there's enough food, and finding out what all the people need. I guess that's kind of every game though. I'd suggest this game to anybody who has a lot of free time. I had to delete it though, because I didn't have time to keep up with it so it was just taking up space on my phone..Version: 0.7.14

✓ Great, glitchy, best game everWhenever I got this game it was great. I love how you can adopt a child, but I wish you could adopt more than 1. Also, I like how the mayor gets older as her child grows, but why don't the towns folk get old. The towns folk should also have kids too, that way the mayor child would have someone to play with. Yesterday whenever I was playing this game, I got enough percent for another person to move in. It showed a man and said he was moving in and cut me of the app. Then when I got back on the app, it was like he hadn't moved in. A min later, another new person moved in, and it wasn't the gut from earlier. It’s fun but if there was new features or more things to do, it would be far better, especially for people just beginning to play. ✓ Great!I love this game and think it is great. But in the future you should add more stores. Like a pet shelter or a restaurant. Where you can get a cat, dog, or others pets. And you can name the pets and they’ll follow you around. And there should be a hunger meter so when you eat it does something. And there are no animals anywhere, there should be wild horses in the woods that you can ride and rabbits and wolves (maybe you could be able to catch one as a pet!) and there should be family’s living in one house, like a someone moving in and they might have a child. First off is playing in "real time", I think it's kind of annoying that we literally have to wait til the next day for things to finish building, wish we could at least have an option to pay more coins to get the work done faster.. ✓ Buggy, but kind’a fun?When the game wants to run fine, it does. But then sometimes you’ll hit spots where the game just, I dunno, gives up? Like, I no longer have to actually catch bugs for them to appear in the museum. Bugs have just been appearing in those glass cases for the past few days. Only found this out when I caught my first rhino beetle and the game said I already had it. I’m not too worried, my town’s already at 96% happiness thanks to me planting flowers every day, but it’s still weird. I am in a spot of money trouble, though. I haven’t gotten any jobs/quests or help missions for the town in two days. Not sure if it’s an issue on my side or what. Some suggestionsLove the game and I have some suggestions I wanted to share, 1) I work 2nd shift so please let the store stay open later than the 1am late night ordinance option. 2) It would be great to be able to find townsfolk when you have the item they requested by tapping on the clipboard objective instead of searching the map and houses. 3) please add fishing to the museum collection items and allow fishing from the ponds or ocean areas! This game reminds me of old school animal crossing and I loved gathering fish for the museum then. 4) It would be great if you could also have a catalog to know what you are still missing and how many items are left to find and hints on how or where to find certain items/bugs etc.. ✓ My Number One Favorite App. 😍Virtual Town is a video game unlike no other, it's so fun, creative, and very, very addicting. It is my favorite game. The only thing i don't like about the app is the coins ($). Furniture, house upgrades, and town items are very expensive. I end up buying multiple house expansions, with no coins for furniture to place in it. And there isn't really much coins offered for watching video ads at the movie theatre. And you have to buy coin packs with real money, and that isn't cheap either. ✓ Pretty goodIs quite fun at first, but once you’ve fixed all the “broken” parts of the town and got a full occupancy it starts to move very slow. Every day is the same - complete villager requests, catch bugs, clean the town and then sell everything you have collected. Even the mysterious visitors have little appeal. I can change my name whenever and I like how when you fix one pond that when the bridge it built the other pond is done also. I think my friend is hooked now also it is amazing. I think you should have more then 9 people in the town though. Yes it is a small town but 9 people is not even a town. The citizens should have kids also what you are the only one who wants to adopt? Why are some of the people jerks? I helped one and he asked my why I was still here and another asked what I was doing talking to him. ✓ Always impressed!Last Day of Work! You are my favorite app developers! You guys really seek to improve time and time again and you do. I love your games. The only one I haven't really played is the virtual villagers. I played virtual families off and on for years and wished the game could somehow expand beyond the yard and you did that beyond my expectations with Virtual Town. The graphics are better, there's more complexity within the story, there's more of a wait period which helps keep the game going and from beating it all in one night lol. I was afraid at first that the sims creators may have bought you out because it seems more similar to that now but figured if that was the case your company name wouldn't still in the game. I just started playing last night and have not lost my interest. I would love it if you guys came out with a video game based off of these apps. I love the changes that were made such as being able to name the people. I always wanted to be able to do that. Also, the time cheat is no longer an issue because the game can detect so it doesn't take away from the game. Not going to lie I always used the cheat but it made the game time go so fast that you couldn't enjoy it very long so that's cool. I also think it's cool that you can still complete the repairs even though you can't change the time. The task for that day will still be complete so it's the best of both worlds. ✓ I like this game!I have had LDOW games forever (since my 4th gen. iPod to be exact) and I really like them. I don't like the island ones as much, but I like this game and the family ones. This game is very similar to Animal Crossing, and I have been looking forever for an app similar to it! This is a really nice game, it was a bit confusing in the beginning (like how to use your tools) but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Something's you could add is getting pets, customizing your person, having a family (just a husband/wife and two kids would be nice) and maybe another city you can visit or something. ✓ So much potential!!I should start off by saying- this game holds a special place in my heart. When I was little in 2015 I got this on my little Samsung tablet. The music, the people, the choices, the work. It’s a beautiful game (well, not really the graphics as much) but the graphics aren’t… terrible. You can renovate your house, grow the town, adopt a child and so much more. But I don’t think the developers know how much potential this game keeps. ✓ This reminds me of animal crossing butThe only difference is you adopt a child. This is a problem though. What age to you retire? I am upset that your adopted child will not even bother to help you with ANYTHING even though you taught them how to do it! The only annoying thing is I have is also annoying is that they get in the way of you trying to plant food & other stuff in the town. So far my guy I named Richerd is his is now 50 & I was hoping to control Betty which is no longer a child but a 30 year old women who dosen't do anything but get in the way. ✓ Glitchy but good???I just wish it would let me have more than one child and maybe be able to marry someone. The game also glitches a lot on my iPad. All the people living in my town are the exact same. It’s a little scary and I don’t really love the whole “we’re triplets” thing. I don’t think that’s supposed to happen. On top of that, I can’t go into town hall to get my building permit for my house. I have everything I want to put inside the house, everything to make the house, but I can’t get into town hall. My character opens the door, the screen goes black, then my character is right outside the door! I’m only getting money from interest, which means over the next seven days I get four coins. I have a child and a house to pay for here! ✓ Some suggestionsI feel like the general store needs more home items, and they need to be modernized. Some of the things aren’t as bright, colorful, and trendy and cute. I have to really snatch something up when it’s cute and that’s every once and a while. We also should be able to customize our characters beyond just clothing and glasses (like earrings and hairstyles). Also, digging holes is becoming glitchy. Like they won’t show up after I’ve dug one. The games becoming boring. I’ve been doing the sane things since I downloaded this game. I'm 21 soon but it resembles the old AC wild world I cherished as a kid. Definitely worth a play. ✓ Real life in a gameAwesome game, good graphics and plotline. I like the lush scenery and the ability that my character (the mayor) has to interact with the residents. Also, the residents have different characters to keep me amused. You can sell veggies, precious stones and insects for cash to enable you to better the town and complete projects. Only confusing thing is that the mayor ages but the other residents are immortal! Also, you can only adopt one child per mayor. Overall great game :).Version: 0.7.9
