BusyCal: Calendar & Tasks Pros

Capable, attractive, adaptable and powerfulI’ve found this to be an excellent choice for managing my calendars and todo’s. It offers many ways to manage these and is customizable. It has been an excellent replacement for my recently deleted app that changed to a subscription model. So glad I made the move on all my devices. I can’t also say enough positive comments about the excellent support. Outstanding and prompt and able to resolve issues quickly. I have only have two requests I hope will be added soon to make it perfect. First, it needs a companion Apple Watch app. For me this is essential as I often use my watch in place of my phone. On the watch app I hope a month view is included as well. The second is I would like to see a view on the phone that is similar to the view of the menu bar applet used on the Mac. This offers a small monthly calendar with a list of events or todo’s under it. This is a quick and efficient way to scroll through your day or ahead. A long press on a date would allow you to enter a new event..StumpapiVersion: 3.5.96

BusyCal: Calendar & Tasks Cons

Stops syncing after a couple days & can’t find how to get supportI’m using this with O365. It works for a couple days then stops syncing (or anyway, never syncs. It says it is syncing). This is disastrous for me because I depend on my calendar to be up to date. My current workaround is to use the iOS built in calendar, which also sucks but at least seems to keep up to date. I’d like to troubleshoot but there seems to be no way to contact support and none of the FAQs seem to address my problem (or if they do, I don’t understand it). I love the MacOS version. But I can’t recommend iOS version for people stuck with O365..A cranky guyVersion: 3.5.0

No Apple watch support3 stars because you are not supporting or letting us know that you are working on it. I need my cal on my watch. I like hands free. Otherwise I would be happy to give you 4 even 5. Otherwise it is a good app. bugs and all. Very customizable. Great options for time zone but not easily understandable. Needs to be simplified. I am not sure if the calendar timezone support is better than event timezone support but it seems they don’t play well together. If you chose calendar timezone support then event support should go grey and vice versa. Great icon library for all events. Flights are also highly customizable but difficult to manage in timezone support. It gets confusing if you have a heavy week of travels covering several time zones. Much better than iCal and flexible enough to synchronize accurately with iCal cloud and giving you so many more options. I am not sure if it can stand alone or not. I need mine to synchronize because it is a work calendar but for a personal calendar, I think it would struggle adding events coming in from outside sources through emails ans SMS i.e. flights, hotels reservations, event tickets, car rental reservations, restaurants reservations etc..YenicVersion: 3.3.8
