✓ Good game but money hungryOverall I love the gameplay and the graphics but I’m only up to level 7 (not far) and have to pretty much pay to upgrade to the next bike (required In order to win any race from now on) or watch about 20 adverts to be able to afford it. ✓ DisappointedI’ve been playing this game longer for a really long time and it’s always been my favourite competitive game on the phone. I’m in division 1 on JAM and always get lower than 5% on tracks and all my bikes are upgraded but for some reason I can barely even start a track properly. Why ? Because of the stupid frame drops and stuttering. A game like this where timing is key shouldn’t have ANY sort of lag. One of my favourite games is slowly starting to be my least played game since it doesn’t allow me to be as good as I can and it’s annoying. Please fix this..Version: 2.0.7

✓ Addictive fun but frustrating!!Hey there guys, Seriously what is it with this game it’s so dame difficult, It’s pretty much if you’re racing even if your bike has more “pump” and “jump” but the speeds the same as your opponent it doesn’t seem to matter....Cause unless you take off & land jumps absolutely perfect all of a sudden the other opponent just catches up like it’s got rockets attached to its bike & you CANT catch up at all!!!....It’s pretty much the same with the daily tasks/missions and it’s honestly gets really stressful.....Also can you make it possible to upgrade your bike with cash NOT just gold as I’ve got nearly $50k and I can’t use it on any upgrades to my bike.....Please adjust these things I’ve spoken about, But it is a well made game just needs things fixed up.....Version: 1.0.7

I don’t level up anymore when I win. I don’t get any more xp for the weekly challenges. So I guess I’ve gone as far as I can go. ✓ Need some workThis game is really fun, but I definitely needs more work. Some races are easy, but others are crazy hard. It also takes so long to finish certain levels and you’ll have to grind quick play to upgrade your bike. I’ve also noticed that it is pretty pay to win. There’s one more thing. The game lags a lot. I almost through my phone into a window because the lag is so bad when your racing. ✓ Rigged gameI love how you can find a faster line than the other rider only to have them catch up to you no matter what. Also love that the game interrupts you while your winning a race in order to prompt you to buy more gold, oh and the fact that the restart button highlights as to say - "there's no way your going to win this pal so you might as well start over!" Really disappointed, I loved the first one, but clearly the developers have missed the point on this one. It's supposed to be difficult but at least achievable! ✓ Old school controls please!!Please update this game and give players the option to control gameplay like the previous version. Better control of bunny hopping and manuals were what made this game fun for people who’ve spent a lot of time riding bmx. For me that’s the difference between a 5 star game that I’ll play for months to come and a 2 star game that I won’t likely ever play again. Heck, I’d probably even pay for an option that allowed old school controls. I played the first version religiously for the better part of two years and regard it as on if the best touch screen games I’ve ever played.Version: 1.0.5
✓ Excitebike LiteThe game is fun and looks nice enough. The controls and gameplay is reminiscent to the Nintendo classic Excitebike, but without the need to balance an engine overheating. Unfortunately, like so many freemium games, the difficulty ramps up sharply to the point that the game becomes basically unplayable. I don’t mind purchasing games or paying for content - I’ve done it before and will continue to do it. However, I need to get value for my purchase. The game doesn’t offer value, unfortunately. So, my recommendation is to download the game, watch a few embedded advertisements to get some gear and to “pay” the developers, play the game for the hour or so before the major difficulty spike (it is a fun game), and then delete..Version: 1.0.5

✓ Just another promising game that turns money hungryI won’t lie when I first stared playing this game It was really fun.... but now I see what ppl are talking about that complain on this app. It’s basically a bike race against the cpu with a lot of jumps and hills. You either have a down button for wheelies & landing then you have an up button for bunny hops and going off jumps. I noticed a trend on this game. If your are leading your dude starts going slower and starts messing up on the jumps. If your losing tho you’re hitting the jumps perfect and he is doing everything normal. The cpu ALWAYS passes you if you’re winning. Then when you lose an add pops up trying to get you to buy more coins and bikes. I know games aren’t sussposed to be easy and you’re not going to win every time but this is just ridiculous. Don’t believe just download this app and wait to you go to the next level. But it takes a while to get to level 27, where I’m at, then to race people that are at level 11, with half my bike stats, and they are basically the same speed, that’s really lame, then to race some one for $400 and it he just as difficult as someone for $2500.... easy vs. hard. ✓ Designed to frustrateGame is designed to prey on players aversion to frustration. The game “randomly” matches you against riders where there is only a slight chance that the player will win be it either max stats of the bike or another riders near flawless performance. This pushes the player to drop more real money on rockets to finally get passed the race they may have been stuck in for days. To unlock bikes the player must complete races against AI. these are also rigged to not be fun at all. Beating a race legit is rare. Often times its done by spamming PTW rockets, and if thats the case there is no sense of accomplishments. Even if bikes are unlocked without dropping gold bars on then by actually beating the required boss, many upgrades to the bike itself are locked behind gold bars anyway. For example i have a bike that has room for a lot of speed upgrades, but each one costs gold bars instead of cash. The ability to grind for extra cash is also severely gimped in this game as you receive ZERO cash for losing races. This encourages players to just exit immediately after minor mistakes..Version: 1.0.2

The first few rounds are easy enough to get through with a little patience BUT as you get to the latter part of the game the frame rate stutters in places which hinders the gameplay. ✓ Delete app after you rank upThis game is actually fun as long as you’re a beginner with a bottom line bike. But just like their MadSkillsMX game, you start getting smoked every race. No matter strong you build your current bike, your opponent will come from nowhere as you near the finish line and fly past you. The only option is to ‘purchase’ gold bars so you can get rockets and upgrade. It doesn’t stop. Each upgrade you have to ‘buy’ more rockets or ‘buy’ more gold or you will be forever frustrated as you continue to lose, no matter how far out in front you get. Shameful. ✓ Latest update not a fanThis has been a “go to” for me when I just want to waste a few minutes playing a fun game. This title was recently updated so I jumped in to see what might have changed. I was disappointed to see that the “quick play” in game dollar amounts were reduced drastically. On the hard selection the in game amount used to be $8000. Now, with the update, it was reduced to only $60. What gives???? I get that the developers would want to push players to buy the premium offerings but to give the “middle finger” to those of us who play casually is ridiculous. Because I don’t typically pay for in game purchases and seeing the amounts drop for non premium players, I will have to move on from this game and find something else that might replace this game as my favorite. When the time comes to buy a new bike (which you won’t be able to win a race without), you’ll be so short on cash having had to upgrade your previous bike so much, you’re back to square one. It’s so aggressively tuned to make the developer money that you can’t get more than a few races in before you’re so outbalanced by the opponents that you have to pay real money to keep up. I more than happily pay a one time fee of $5-10 for iOS games, but a subscription model on this feels like you’re trying to scam people out of their money when they forget to unsubscribe. ✓ AnnoyedThe game and visuals are good. However, when you get to a certain point you have to resort to making in game purchases. This is fine if it gets you far but the price points are high. When you get to certain bike you have to use gold to upgrade your bikes skill, which can only be bought with money(level upgrades only give you like 5 gold, when it takes 60 to upgrade the bike). I’m aggravated because I can’t beat the level and already poured money into the game to get my bike to this point. I refuse to buy anymore gold just to be able to beat the levels. You get stuck where you can’t hit the jumps right because your bike isn’t fast enough. I upgraded the last bike (gold and everything maxed out) but after reaching the last two levels of the next boss it became impossible to keep up. The problem is that it starts out easy and fun, then becomes a little challenging, the becomes way out of balance too quickly to where you can’t move on without paying. I’d be done with paying $1 or $2 here and there for an upgrade to help me move on. But you’ll reach a point where your current bike is fully upgraded, and you just can’t win. To buy the next bike up costs several hundred gold bars. But to buy the 500 gold bars I’d need will cost $20. That’s not reasonable for there not to be a way for me to earn that upgrade without paying $20. That alone has made me stop playing this game. Also seems like the more I upgrade bikes jump and pump the slower I go and the shorter I can jump. Seriously, the more I upgrade jump I swear there is no change or it’s worse than before upgrade. I go back to levels I easily beat with lesser bike and have a very hard time jumping now. Speed is the only upgrade worth anything and now only way to upgrade speed is with gold. 80 gold pieces is just ridiculous. So, I’m about done with playing it after week and a half. ✓ It’s a scamI’m gonna be honest, I’m writing this after a rage quit. But I have my reasons. I upgraded my bike completely by doing side missions and what not, and yet even when another bike will have 4 upgrades less than I, it is still faster and has higher jumps even when I do the exact same thing as it. The game is not designed for quick upgrades and the tracks are crap that are designed to be played too perfectly. It was an awesome game until my bike was FULLY UPGRADED and still way too SLOW. ✓ Fun Game/Kinda BoringI really like this game, it is addicting and almost as much fun as mad skills motocross 2. The part that I don’t like, is that when you beat the game, there is nothing more to drive you to want to keep playing. ✓ UnrealisticWhere do I start with this game Jesus. We can start by saying the first one was way better. The fact that you can’t even select a track if you just want to mess around and kill an hour is really stupid. If you want to do that you have to click on a difficulty setting and the game randomly picks a track for you WHY!!!! Another thing is that this game try’s to say that the bike makes you faster which in real life that is not the case. You can ride any bike and be fast. Each bike in the game has stats that include speed, jump, and pump which the stats should go to the rider selection instead of the bikes. The riders don’t even have stats, they’re just there to look good. It should be that the rider has the stats and the bike should just be for show, but unfortunately it’s not. I will say that this game did do some things better than the first. First off the npc that you race is actually decent and you have to actually try, which I like. Second I like the controls in this game it does feel smoother and a little easier but it would be cool if you had an option to go back and switch to the old style. All and all this game does kill at least 5 to 10 min but not an hour like everyone hoped. ✓ I really like this game but.....The stuttering frame rate makes it near on impossible to play. I’ve been playing for about a month now and it’s just getting ridiculous. Takes about 10 attempts to even get past the start of a race now. When I first started this game it ran smoothly and I loved it, quickly progressed through the stages but as the races became harder, the frame rate decreased and has become nearly impossible to play. I don’t know wether this is an issue with the game or it’s ones of those pay to fix type of games. Seems like a bit of a con after all the time and effort I’ve put into it. You don’t need to pay money to progress, you just need skill. I’ve paid no money to play and I’m in the top 3% for more or less every race. If you’re good enough, you’ll earn the money. After playing the game for several hours I have really been disappointed with the gameplay. I have a fairly new iPad, IPadAir and the game plays very glitchy at times. ✓ Let’s be honestAlright this is a really fun game for about the first day or so, however as time goes the opponents get so impossibly hard to beat that you are going to have to do 2 things. One spend an unholy amount of time on this game to get good enough to beat the opponents and then two, spend a ridiculous amount of money to upgrade bike in the later stages. When you do spend let’s say 8 dollars to get this bike fully upgraded you then only beat around 3 more opponents with it before you need to buy another bike and fully upgrade that one with more of your own cash. Now I truly hate games that are impossible or very close to it without spending money, that is why I had to give one star. I saw an ad and said “Hey why not give it a try.” So the first day of playing was actually pretty fun, good graphics, easy to control, and most importantly, not boring.
