✓ Looked promising...but doesn't even take pics!Doesn't take pics after pressing the large red button and constant crashing makes this quite useless! Something's broken and no updates have been released to fix the multiple issues..Version: 1.2.2
✓ Amazing garbage.The manual features are great I have to say and the ability of shooting RAW is a game changer for people who like to manually edit their pictures in Lightroom or Capture One or wherever. Now that that’s out of the way I want to address the messy part. It’s 2021 and there have been iPhones with dual camera (wide angle and portrait (and in pro models an additional telephoto)) lenses/camera modules for a good two or so years now. So why on earth can we still only use the main camera in the app? Is it too much to ask for the option to swap between “lenses”? And secondly the file browser is a mess. Hardly navigatable and while feature packed, far from intuitive. There is no separation between “library and develop” interfaces. It’s crammed, everything is in one place but not neat or tidy. I would love to get a refund as I’ve used it for 15 minutes max but wont ever touch it again. Buy a cheeseburger from this money instead.Version: 1.4.5

✓ Not always RAWSomething like 1 in 10 of your pictures taken in "RAW" mode will not be saved as RAW, and won't be editable as a RAW photo. This is really annoying when you go to edit a nice shot, only to realize it saved as a jpeg. Also, the ones that save as "RAW" are the size of jpegs (~3-6MB), and for some reason also show up as jpegs in exif data viewers. In really not sure why they don't just use .DNG If you're looking for a free RAW camera app, Lightroom takes true RAW photos, and has much more comprehensive editing tools. One more thing. If you turn on the option "open to camera," it will crash and need to be reinstalled. Very annoying if you're somewhere without wifi. I emailed support about this a couple months ago and only got one reply. There has been an app update since then, but the bug still remains.Version: 1.3.7

✓ Used to be great but now crashes on launchWhen I first started using Musecam it was impressively great. It really pushed the iPhone’s camera to its known limits and I regularly found myself using it to take photos. Over the past few months however, it became increasingly unstable on my iPhone 6 running iOS 11.4.1 and at this point it just continuously keeps crashing on launch. I just went ahead and removed it from my phone because it became completely useless. From other reviewers I’ve seen who are experiencing the same exact problem, I see no point even trying to contact the dev’s as they’ve made it nearly impossible to reach them and at this point I know they are aware of this problem but haven’t even tried to fix it. If they ever get around to patching it and making it usable again I’ll redownload it and rewrite my review..Version: 1.3.7

✓ CrashesI haven’t gotten the chance to really use it yet as I have just downloaded it recently but it looks really amazing and can’t wait to really get into it! One problem I’ve had though is that it crashes before I can do anything every time I try to open the app despite it working fine when I launched it for the first time, it has crashed every time since. ✓ Not great on iPhone 12 ProThe reviews for the app are not unfair. It takes fair photos and the editor is okay. What really isn’t is the UI for the camera on an iPhone 12 Pro. The viewfinder is top of screen aligned meaning you lose sight over anything in the notch. And then the viewfinder only takes up about top 2/3 of screen meaning you are left with an enormous grey blank space with the shutter release button. Same version on iPhone X looks a lot better and feels more usable. Not an ideal situation for an app supposedly updated to cater for the 12s.Version: 1.4.4
✓ Like it, but buggyIf you have a photo open and then delete from the library on your phone, it locks the app up. Also, downloaded the editorial pack and have no idea how to use it. On my iPhone X, clicking just takes me back to the addin page. It’s a nice product, when I can get it to work. But until then, I’ll use something else..Version: 1.3.2

✓ Decent, but crashes with RAW filesHaving used Photogene for 4 years i had to search for a new RAW editor as it is a 32bit app. I thought i would give this a try, i like the filter and edit options but find it crashes often with Canon and Panasonic RAW files which is a shame. Cant find and option to shoot RAW either, a missed opportunity as iOS 10 adds full RAW support..Version: 1.2.2

✓ No portrait mode?The app seems to be completely missing any ability to work with portrait mode photos (depth-of-field). Opening a portrait mode photo flattens the image. The filters are beautiful and the app is slick, but with no ability to take or even edit portrait mode photos - I can’t really make a good use of it. Tried googling it, looking at support and the website - couldn’t see anything about it. Disappointed. Beautiful, slick and smart app. Missing a major feature for me..Version: 1.2.2
✓ Pretty okI give this 3 stars. It's a good app that allows you to unlock the potential of the new camera system, but has a bunch of in app purchases required to really make the most of it. I hate freemium apps so if that's an issue for you then you will be annoyed too. I would rather know up front what the price is. Aside from that, it works well with no crashing or glitches. ✓ Quite simpleAnd that’s a good thing but it’s misleading when they advertise manual control. It’s not fully manual. It’s more like semi-manual. There’s no options to select shutter speeds of several seconds or more. Not even half a second. ISO speeds are manual and is useful only for creative shots. Once I find an iOS camera app that emulates manual aperture settings and long shutter speeds, I’ll rate it higher than two or three stars....or I’ll just use A n d roid..Version: 1.3.4
✓ Needs to stop reverting imagesThis is an OK app, nothing special over other apps. I don't use it because every time I open a photo it ignores any cropping or work I've done prior to opening that photo in MuseCam and automatically reverts to the original image. Sorry but I do not like that. It's like starting to work on the image all over again. I imagine that there should be some illogical logic behind it, but the app should not disregard prior changes to the image, it should be the choice of the user. I look around the app to see if there was a setting I could switch to prevent it from doing this, but no luck. For that reason I almost never use this app. To top it off I purchased some presets and bundles and they are not loading up. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and restored purchases, the wheel just keeps turning but nothing happens..Version: 1.4.2

✓ YessssI've been on the hunt for a good photo editing app since I got an iPhone last year and I'm glad I did because I think I finally found it. This app is definitely a MUST for anyone who wants the ease of editing pics on their phone and still manage to be pro about it (bc I'm def not 😂). I love esp. that there's a history button to see what changes I've made and the various ways to manipulate a pic, esp the portions where you pay. Def worth it if you want to go the extra mile with your pics. Still working out kinks with this app, but so far so good 😊👌.Version: 1.2.2
