✓ New update only shows you less then 1 daySince updating to the latest update, what use to be a full day view for flying under the free option, now shows you less then half a day. WTH? Anyway to force people to pay for another subscription based app. Pathetic..Version: 2.8.4
✓ GarbageSo I open the app and it tells me that it is not good to fly due to the air temperature. I get that but I think that the fact that visibility is about 200 yards is probably more pertinent but the app says that there is 10 miles visibility!! It is like pea soup the amount of fog. Obviously the app is a guide and you need to make your own judgment but the app just reports rubbish data. Btw the temperature is -2 not 3 as the app also states. Don’t waste your time with this..Version: 2.3.21
✓ Now charging for the equivalent of the old free versionI do subscribe during periods I need to plan ahead more, but object to paying for the 24 hour forecast that was previously free. The current version is only free for 3 hours ahead, in which case you may as well just look out the window..Version: 2.8.4
✓ Not Very AccurateI recently got my first drone and this app came highly recommended. I have been heavily relying on it to tell me when I should and should not fly. For the most part is has been good, however, I am starting to lose my confidence in the accuracy of it. There was one day I wanted to fly and it said “Not Good To Fly” with 24mph wind gusts. I went outside and it was a beautiful day and not a single tree was blowing. Another day it was down pouring. I’m in my house listening to all the rain pounding on my roof. I happened to launch the app to see what it would say, and everything was green and said, “Good To Fly”. I think it’s time to find a new app. And to think I was actually considering to pay for a subscription to this..Version: 2.8.4

I know this from several occasions when it tells me ‘not to fly’ when in fact the conditions are perfect. ✓ Not Good Anymore.This App use to be useful, but just checked today and they severely downgraded the free use from 24hr forecast to 3hrs! Other parts are also down graded! Everything you got before for free is now their entry level subscription, but if you want a useful subscription, that costs you even more. A 3hr forecast is almost useless, especially if you are planning to fly your drone an hour or more drive away. I hope this company changes it back, otherwise if they don’t then I hope all the current users give it a low 1-star review along with their negative comments!!!.Version: 2.8.4
✓ Conditions Can Change At Any TimeI have been enjoying using this app since finding it soon after getting my drone. I could look ahead a day or so and plan when to fly. Imagine now a change, from 48 hours down to 3 (for the free version). Imagine my disappointment. Ever after the almighty dollar, the app I was using changed, but not by me. It just proves things change, just like the weather, and I’m not in control — someone else is. What can change for the “free” version can also change for any paid version. I’m still learning to fly. So I’ll continue to use any app that will help me fly. But changes to the app that force me to pay for what I enjoyed for free? No thanks. I’m still learning..Version: 2.8.4

✓ No support!!!Bought the full app a while ago and it was working fine. About a week ago the whole app went blank!! So I reinstalled i, but now I only have the free version even tho it is still in my apple subscription list!! ✓ Well written app, although almost useless.This app has lots of nice features, wind direction/speed/gusts/speed at different heights but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be very accurate. You can have all the nice features under the sun but if the source information is inaccurate, the app is not a lot of use. ✓ Changing the terms is bad business…This app used to be great but changing the cost structure on a community of EXISTING registered users that built the app’s reputation is just bad a business model. ✓ 3% chance of rain.... guess again!I was watching the rain pour down. Before, during, & after, the App never wavered - 3% chance of rain. You can use it for the satellite count or wind, but definately don’t trust it for rain. Pretend the precip guess is at 50%, that’s way more accurate. Multiple weather apps work best..Version: 2.2.0
✓ Bad subscriptionSo I clicked Show Max Wind Altitude and it said I need a subscription. So I bought a 1 year value. Go back to the setting and now it says thanks for subscribing but you need a Hobbyist subscription. So despite the fact it says you get 24 hour forecast with the value subscription. You don’t get the same features. I literally feel cheated and this was not made evident before purchase. So unless this gets fixed. I am going to unsubscribe and refund. ✓ Was good until last couple daysI used this app for over a year . It was really handy when I first started flying just to check the next days wind forecast . As of yesterday I noticed it no longer gives 24 hour forecast for free . Now you have to pay for anything over a 3 hour forecast . Rendering it pretty much useless unless you pay for it . Also noticed quite a few times it was definitely not accurate with my anemometer wich also made me lose trust in it . I kept it to cross reference but now I absolutely have no use for it . Bad form for forcing a subscription for a 24 hour forecast . Deleted . Thought of purchasing but this is part of what lost me and won’t consider it anymore . ✓ Used to be great for hobby…I fly my drone only a few times a year just as a hobby and this app was my favourite before they changed the free forecast from 24hours to 2 hours. ✓ Dodgy DataI suppose an app like this is only as good as the data it receives and it is way off most of the time. For instance, right now it says gusts of 28mph yet outside it is perhaps around 3-4mph and my weather station backs that up. If I went by the data in this app I would never fly as I am not kidding, the vast majority of the time it tells me it’s not safe to fly when it is clearly not the case - and then they want you to pay almost £30 a year subscription - having a laugh for what is in essence a weather app. There are free sources online for wind speed at various altitudes etc..Version: 2.3.21

✓ Great App Gone The Way of The Almighty DollarThis was the “go to” app for many drone enthusiasts. “Was” is the key word here. The recent update reduced all the free features to nearly useless for planning flights more than 3 hours out. What a shame. I would have been very interested in paying for a service that was of some value. I just can’t justify the cost versus the features for a recreational flyer. ✓ Major issueLove the app and what info it gave you but it caused a major issue with my IPhone XS Max! It caused my phone to spazz and also made it going into a black screen with a loading circle since downloading it. ✓ Doesn't work on my iPadThis app works just fine on my iPhone, but not on my iPad. Constantly get message to turn on location services on the Pad...they ARE turned on. Tried switching on/off location services as well as the settings within the app. Also tried deleting the app and re-installing...no luck. Could not find any notice that this is only for iPhone, but for me that seems to be the case. Nice that I can use this on my phone, but there are times when it is more convenient to use the pad (and easier on my old eyes)..Version: 2.2.27

✓ If you fly drones you might be able to use this But it is not very reliableIt is easy to locate in the App Store and to “get” it for the most part it is quite easy to figure out . There are a few features that should be explained. First time users might not realize how the OK TO FLY message is triggered ...... this seems to key off the altitudes and max wind speeds entered by the user ..... Which in itself should be explained However I sometimes see the NOT OK TO FLY message When the conditions would indicate that it is OK There is no explanation So it seems like an incorrect message is being shown. ✓ Fundamental flawTonnes to like in the app. However the actual weather forecast is invariably incorrect. This is particularly noticeable during changeable conditions. As a professional drone pilot I use 4 different weather apps to gain a full picture and have got to the point where you can in no way believe what the app says. I know they will respond to this with the same poop, but we all know they discovered that so many were taking advantage of 24-hrs free forecast which was satisfactory for most. They had a paid subscription before that nobody got because we didn’t need more than 24hrs. So, capitalism as it’s finest, start charging for what everyone wants. WAS a good Weather App. BUT Now its a $ grab..Deleted the App!The app hasn't been updated in 2years, but the last update gets rid of "free" use of the app that would let you see 12hrs of weather. Alittle weird but enough for the day, okay.. Now they've switched it to ONLY 3 HOUR'S!! 😑 No more charts at all. No more Wind by Altitude, only Ground Level. No more location searching. No more map searching. No forecast. Its useless now. Every single good feature it had is behind an expensive paywall. ✓ Great concept, bad data.The real-time precipitation forecast data is way off. It will be saying a 90% chance of precipitation happening right now with clear skies outside. They use ‘UAVForecast’ as a “hyper-local” forecast source, but there’s no option to change that to something you’ve heard of. Not impressed..Version: 2.9.4
