Surely this invalidates the terms and conditions of apple - one of the submission criteria is that you can't have an app that can be done with or offers the same functionality as a website. ✓ Not even close.I used my own dog as my control test for this. And let me say, not once did it get her right. My pup is a blue/red heeler mix and it shows. She has the telltale blue and red markings, the broad chest, the big upright ears. She's about 20 inches tall, weighs 33 pounds. She is normal for her breed. Yet I tried 6 different photos with good lighting and different poses and not once did this turn up anything close to her breed. She got matched as an Italian greyhound, a collie, a Boston terrier, and a Great Dane. None of these are similar to her build. I'm very confused. They are very loyal dogs that would never leave your side, I know this from experience. ✓ It Told Me My Jack Russell was a PointerIt’s best to put in a bunch of different pictures of your dog and see which breeds come up the most often to determine breed and things were going well for a bit. I could see what aspects were determining what breed each dog was and it was spot on with the pictures I grabbed of purebreds off the internet. Then it called a JRT a Pointer. And a staffie a Bull Terrier. On multiple occasions. So yeah, not the most accurate but still fun to play with..Version: 1.2.3

✓ Pretty good but needs improvementI uploaded multiple photos of my golden retriever and it was able to properly identify him no problem but when we tried my friend's Sussex spaniel it didn't get it right even once. The closest it has come is cocker spaniel and the Sussex looks quite different from that. I realize Sussex is a pretty rare breed though so maybe it is not yet programmed to recognize them..Version: 1.0

✓ Bully!For the most part this app is fun but when I came across the description of the American Staffordshire terrier and the Staffordshire bull terriers and was disappointed. On both it says these dogs are prone to aggression toward small dogs and animals. This can happen to any dog I've known more golden retrievers to be aggressive towards small animals then bully breeds... It's not a bully thing, it's a dog thing! Tho they can be stubborn it's a good idea to start training early and with ANY dog it a good idea to socialize but these dogs are vary family oriented and amazing with kids! They were at one time known as the nanny dog until the media and some bad people destroyed their reputation!.Version: 1.0

✓ LOUSY!!Doesn’t work! First I took a picture of my very large, but not overweight, 85 lb full blood Doberman Pincher lying down with head up. It said, “It is not a dog.“ So giving it the benefit of a doubt I tried a picture of my dog’s head next to a headrest in my car, where you can obviously see the size comparison of his head to the headrest. He has his ears cropped in the show cut (which I didn’t do, by the way). It said 60% or so that it was a Miniature Pincher. The rest were other small breed dog options. So I picked a picture where I thought there was no doubt as to the breed. He is a textbook large red Dobie. It still came up with Min Pin. I give up!! Going to delete now. ✓ UPDATE OR REMOVE FROM STORE 😁😞😡I don't usually take the time to give low ratings but these garage apps are useless to consumers if you don't update them. They are never going to even have the opportunity to become the next best app without updates. Plus I find it disappointing, frustrating and annoying that you would take up my time to research an app only to find out the last update was before IOS 10 or even years ago. I'm of the opinion you keep up the hard work and if you decide it is time to throw in the towel take it off the shelf. You don't leave it in the store and allow others to oogle at your mistakes. ✓ This app is not "fetch" (mean girls ;))This app needs a lot of work. My golden retriever, one of the most recognizable dogs, wasn't even recognized! Also, it marked every single person I've tried it on as one dog or another (which was actually pretty funny). Also, it said my other golden retriever mix was a hound, and although it can't tell mixes, he doesn't have hound in him at all! If this app was fixed, I believe it could be loads of fun and does have potential, but until then, potatoes will still be considered pomeranians..Version: 1.0

Switched it over to my iphone7 plus, and still doesn't work. All I can access is the list of dog breeds. That's not why I bought it. ✓ The software needs workThere should be something that can identify the pictures you already used and utilize them to improve the accuracy. I tried 10 different pictures to match my husky/wolf/German shepherd. She has the body structure of a husky, the size of a wolf and the black saddle of a shepherd to put it in general terms. So I was expecting any northern breed dog as an answer. Instead I get 1 100% match to a chihuahua, 3 90% to a Pembroke welsh corgi, 2 border collies (my dog has a thick medium coat, nothing like the long coat of a collie), 1 match to a shiba inu (close...?), 2 matches for a husky (finally??) and 1 match to a German shepherd. 3/10 pictures, all included her whole body and were in good lighting- different pictures but the same position..Version: 1.0
