✓ Something terrible has happened to this gameThis has been a favorite for several years. Even got my adult sons hooked. For 3 days now something has changed. I’ll see a quick flash of light & then the next tiles to place do not appear. Have to go to another game. Also, I was on 24 & now find I’m on 7. Someone explain this to me. My high score is still shown, but I’m at a loss as to why the game has changed so. I’m revising my previous 5 stars to a 3. Just reinstalled game, starting at zero, still have same problem, flash of light & then next tiles dont appear. Had a real high score, for me, previously. Find this issue to be a non starter. ✓ Fun game, could be betterThis is a fun game, could use a little work and it would be a lot better. i.e. weakening blocks to they explode. The real downfall with this game is the constant bombardment of ads. Not only are the ads annoying 90% of the time the small "x" to close them does not work or you have to tap it 15+ times for it to finally close. This is really bad practice and sleazy tactics. The developer should know better. After an update I now receive ads with sounds so I can not play while at work or at a time too early or late and wake someone else up. ALL ads should be MUTED BY DEFAULT. It just played 5 video ads in a row!!! This is Highly Unprofessional!!.Version: 1.9.0

✓ Addictive but....So I was having fun playing it, until it legit killed my phone. When I read the reviews saying it froze a lot and closed randomly I thought I can deal with that. But it actually glitched during play to the point it made my phone inoperable within a half hour of downloading it. Which was a huge shame because I was having a ton of fun playing. ✓ Not very good on iPhone 6 PlusThe game is the type of game I like to play, logical and fun...however it is still full of bugs. The games freezes a lot, even dragging the pieces across the screen can be a chore. I’m not sure if this is caused by a different advert loading every 20-30 seconds. ✓ Changed the game :/My favorite part of merged used to be merging 4+ blocks of the same kind together but now it only merges three at a time even if it ends up connecting 4 or more which is kind of annoying because instinctively it should just merge all of them. (Only happens sometimes like when there are four 2s- it’ll merge only three of them and leave one) Ads are kind of annoying because even when I just go into the settings for a hot sec an ad comes up. Also weird touch response on iPhone XR when picking up the blocks, not sure if it’s intentional or not. But I would probably rather have block jump up right as I pick it up rather when I’m hovering it over the board because it’s faster that way..Version: 2.5.0
✓ Good Game but BrokenTL;DR: -Gameplay thing I’m pretty sure is a bug -Sometimes your piece disappears -Softlock occasionally when the piece never comes back after disappearing. I remembered liking this game when I played it a year or two ago so I recently installed it again but this version is incredibly buggy. One thing I noticed is that when I have an arrangement like this: ⚊ ⚃ ⚊ ⚃ ⚂ ⚂ Placing a 3-4 domino like this: ⚃ ⚃ ⚂ ⚃ ⚂ ⚂ Does not work, it animates the 3s first, but then leaves the new 4 in the corner so the animation looks like ⚃ ⚃ → ⚃ ⚃ → ⚄ ⚊ ⚂ ⚃ → ⚃ ⚃ → ⚃ ⚊ ⚂ ⚂ → ⚊ ⚊ → ⚊ ⚊ This may be intentional but it looks bad. Also sometimes when I place a piece the screen blinks and the next piece is never loaded. Sometimes this can be fixed by exiting to the home menu and hitting play, though sometimes this changes the board for no reason by adding a block in a random position, so you may need to back out more than once to get the board in the correct state. Additionally, I was once experiencing the bug detailed above, and the next piece refused to load even after exiting to the menu multiple times. The game softlocked and I had to relaunch the app to fix this..Version: 2.8.0
✓ Used to love it. Not anymore.I first played this app a few years ago and loved the simplicity of it. There were ads back then. I get it. Free app, gotta have ads. I understand. But they weren’t the way they are now. Now the ads after a game are super long. To the point where it’s faster to just close the app and reopen it. Closing the app after every game is really annoying. And there’s no way I’m sitting through a 60 second ad! And I’m not talking about the “earn and extra 60 coins?” optional ads. I’m talking about the ones you can’t skip and that play after every game. PLUS there’s ads during the game. This alone wouldn’t bother me but they make the game lag really bad. I haven’t had issues with my phone heating up or crashing like others have, but the lag is more than enough for the developers to know there’s something wrong. All in all, a great little game. ✓ The game is.... ummm......Ok so I've got 3 things to say (I know this is a long review, but it gives you the info you need to know about experience with this game, if you want to know what gameplay is like with this app, read this whole review, right to the end) 1. The game itself is horrible!! It always shuts itself in the middle of a game 2. I've saved around 1200 coins and have nothing to do with them, I mean what's the point of earning coins when you can't do anything with them??? I really don't get it. And 3. ✓ SO MANY PROBLEMSI used to love this game and I still like it. However, there are so many glitches, bugs, crashes, and freezes that happen when you play the game. It will flash sometimes after you make a move, which then doesn’t give you dice to put on the board (it’s just blank). It also doesn’t merge all the tiles if you have more than three... which I’m pretty sure is a glitch but maybe not, I think it’s a glitch. Sometimes when I merge 3 M’s together it flashes to get rid of the stuff around it (like it’s supposed to) but then it doesn’t get rid of everything around it. Next thing, sometimes it won’t let you place a dice on the board in a specific spot, almost like there’s already a piece there (but there isn’t, it’s empty). ✓ Loved It... Then This Happened...Merged was a game that was in the running for a 5 star rating, it has now quickly received a 1 star rating and that is a star it does not even deserve. It was a game that had been relaxing and had the ability divert ones thoughts. However I'm now unable to barely start a game, as the app continuously shuts down before I've even had a chance to make a merge. Anyone who has played merged would know of the simplicity in gaining a merge within the first few seconds of starting a game, so the app is shutting down quite quickly. ✓ Great game but lots of glitches to itThis game used to be great but now it has plenty of glitches. When ever I have 3 m’s all merged together it flashes quickly and just once then I don’t have any cubes left so then when I re open the app where ever the 3 m’s merged it’s another cube or it stays the same. Every once in a while I also loose my cubes, and when it says I leveled up I have to exit and re open the app because of how glitchy it is with airplane mode on and no wifi either way it’s really glitchy and needs a new update soon. I found if you turn off wifi or you data and you won't get any at all. Having ads pop up after EVERY play isn't a great thing to have in a games. ✓ Recent update renders the game unplayableI’ve been playing this for years, and as of the most recent update, it’s become so buggy as to be unplayable. It’s seems ads are to blame, they aren’t rendering correctly causing the game to freeze. A hard reset is needed, but only temporarily fixes it until the next poorly coded ad pops up. Also, you can’t pay for an ad free experience, so there’s literally no way around the hard app resets. Even if the ad was so compelling that I felt I had to click on it, I wouldn’t just out of spite for how badly coded they are. ✓ Keeps FreezingI really like Merged a lot. It’s such a fun puzzle game to play. However the past few months I try and play it it will flash and freeze the game. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still having the same problem. So that’s a little frustrating. What’s also frustrating is when you leave the game and come back due to the freeze sometimes the board is completely different, and sometimes unable to fix what has been done and lose. ✓ Lovely game, awful advertisingFantastic, and addictive game. Unfortunately, as well as ads between every game, and the banner ad on top during the game, I now get random videos (some of which don’t even seem to be adds, just videos of dogs eating noodles etc) multiple times during games. ✓ Horrible bugsWould give it zero if I could. First problem : Every other block I place, it doesn't load or place. So I exit the app and go back into it. It refreshes it self and I re place the block where I want it. Fine. Another problem : Sometimes the app glitches and when I get the "M" blocks, it makes the animation of the bomb but nothing happens to the surrounding blocks. Even when I exit the app and go back into it, my "M" blocks are gone but the numbered dice are still there. Completely screws you over. Third problem : If the second problem doesn't happen, then this will. If the "M" blocks go off and it explodes the surrounding dice, then it'll show there's no dice, but you can't place any in the spots there was dice previously!!! ✓ Great game could use some improvementMy main thing about this game is that i will never know what pieces i have next, so when i put a piece somewhere and i realize that the next piece would have fit better, it sort of ruins the progress I made. so my recommendation is to do an up next sort of thing that shows what tile is next. ai think that’d be great. oh and maybe adding more tile numbers even though that might mess with the dice theme so to speak but maybe something to consider. but overall i do like the game and it gets addictive..Version: 2.5.0

✓ Was good, but not anymoreI played this game a long while ago and had some great fun. I got high scores and it was a good way to waste some time between real life activity. My mom found the game a year later and started playing. I had a new phone by then and lost any progress. I went and downloaded the app to beat her high score (which should be pretty easy, it isn’t that high). However the game now works against you and gives you the opposite of what you need. ✓ The downside of mergedI’ve enjoyed playing this game however the maddening thing is there is no way to know what numbers are coming in order to help strategize as you move along. At the beginning the numbers that come create easy merges. Then it starts offering numbers that won’t combine and there’s no way to know if what is coming will be a single or a double toss. So it’s very hard to progress… it’s like the game gets to control outcome not you as there is no way to influence the toss. Also The beginning throw is always the same and the increase level doesn’t change anything just shows you how long you’ve been playing. Can’t undo a move either and no game explanations with it or timer all of which would be an easy and fun addition. So It’s fun for a while but limited engagement with no real way to progress beyond getting better at seeing how the merges can be maximized..Version: 1.9.0

✓ Fun at first but grows FrustratingMerged is a simple, fun and addictive game. Excellent UI and sound effects. But the first thing you notice are the incessant ads, even during the game play. You can pay a dollar to remove the ads, but only on one device. If you switch phones or own an iPad, you have to plunk down another $. Next, you notice that the levels don’t present any new challenges. The game grows boring quickly. Because the game chooses the next tiles pseudo-randomly, you can’t really improve your score either. The algorithm limits your game play deliberately. You can buy coins to offer more choices, but you quickly run through all of your coins. ✓ Battery Vacuum.It’s a fun game and all, don’t get me wrong, I’m nowhere near stopping, but if I play for more than a few minutes at a time, my phone starts to heat up significantly, more than any other app I have. Hot as one of those shake-to-activate little heat packs you’d carry around in the winter (way too hot to be healthy for an iphone is really the point). It drains my battery extremely quickly as well. Maybe the game is just poorly optimized? I’d love to have this issue resolved, however Zynga’s email designated for Merged support seems to be down or otherwise unreachable. They know we don’t like this, and there’s no way to leave a review through the game. 2. Ads — so many issues. After every game you have at least 10 seconds of video ads to watch. 3. Video ads all play sound by default and sometimes the mute button doesn’t work. 4. After your video ad, you are required to sit on a pop up ad for an additional 5 seconds. 5. Once you click the x on the ad, it takes you to the page to download it, not back to the game. 6. Sometimes you have to hit the x 15+ times to even be sent to the ad’s download page so you can go back and ACTUALLY PLAY THEIR GAME. I got it back a couple days ago, and noticed a weird glitch that would happen when I do an especially good move. For example if I get a couple merges in one move (if you have played you know what I mean) this weird flash goes across my screen and it freezes or something. It does that flash and then it doesn’t give me another pair of blocks and it is so weird. ✓ Good game, horrible bugsI used to play this game on a frequent basis, and loved it. But some update must have gone horribly wrong, because it’s become almost unplayable. The screen will periodically flash for a split-second as you play (this usually happens after multiple merges occur from one move), and break the game. You won’t be given a new block to put down, and continuing becomes impossible. Another reviewer provided a useful tip, that closing the game and reopening it can temporarily fix this bug. But eventually even that failed, and I was left in an endless loop of rebooting the game only to run into the same glitch. The aesthetics and sound design of this game are fun and soothing. ✓ Latest update has increased everythingThis is a great game and if I rated it before the latest update it would have been five stars. Now the starting cost of changing tiles is fives times more and there's twice as many ads after each game. I didn't mind the occasional ad before but now it's ridiculous. ✓ Too many glitchesI love this game…when it works. I used to play this all the time and then it had a glitch so bad that the game wouldn’t allow any moves. So I stopped playing it for a couple years, trying every once in a while to see if it was fixed. Finally it got fixed! I’ve been able to play for a couple months and now there’s a glitch that I literally have negative billions of coins. That’s right…negative. So I can no longer earn coins while playing, therefore I can’t ever switch out colors. Please fix the glitches!! It’s so much fun when it works!.Version: 3.6.0
✓ Very laggyDon’t get me wrong on my rating, I like playing this game. It’s just that as your points start to pass 800, the game becomes laggy. I’ve gotten all the way past 2,500 points and at that point, the game was almost impossible to play. You had to wait 5+ seconds for the numbers to flip just once, the way the numbers move under your finger makes you want to check your configuration settings to make sure the touch screen is working properly. It either moves way off the grid, or doesn’t move at all..Version: 1.8.2
✓ Why? Just WHY???Downloaded this game a while ago, enjoyed playing it but later deleted it. Just reinstalled it & realised why. OK, I understand the need for ads, but come on!! TWO MINUTES LONG!! Wouldn’t you rather I enjoyed playing your games???.Version: 1.9.0
