✓ Awesome, but needs changes…First of all, this is a great game! It has A LOT, and I mean A LOT of detail. I have a few concerns though which are… 1: When I was playing I saw this red floating piece just spectating me. I do not know if this is a hacker or a glitch, but it’s weird. 2: When you are in war and you defeat the commander you should go again. Also, whenever you win a war, we shouldn’t lose war points after we lose another war. 3: I put my strongest Autobots to man the Autobot outposts but they still got defeated in base trials, but I know why. Just because the outposts are at low levels, doesn’t mean that my bots should be weak. 4: Whenever you change the name, you should have a week or so to change your name. ✓ Fun but annoying with purchasesLove the Transformers in general and the game of upgrades to bots, base and defences etc. I also like going up against other humans and their choice for defending their base, even if the odds are firmly stacked towards the attacker. Biggest gripe is purchase of specialist ‘crystals’ offered during the game, ie “Get the Mixmaster/Jazz crystal for the shop for a chance to get a 2, 3 or 4 star bot.” When you offer a specific bot, the purchaser should get that specific bot. Not another random bot as I discovered in the fine print. Save the random for the general crystal purchases..Version: 1.54

✓ Addictive game with CautionThe details that were put in each Transformer shows the passion of the creators to the game. The game pay homage to G1 and the new Hasbro CW toy line! I specially love the details on the transformation and how each step is how u would actually perform them. The game play at first takes some time to get use but can be picked up after playing several games, which in my opinion is hard to put down. The only thing I hope they can improve on is how u can control each Transformer. Its almost like once they are set to battle they follow a straight line to attack and destroy. All in all you will be using real money if you wan to really get further in the game though to het higher rank Transformers. New bots is scarce here even though you spend hundreds. ✓ Great, at first.I had a ton of fun being a free to play person from the start, so I spent a few dollars to get a couple more powerful characters, cool. Expectations vs what I got per dollar spent was very close. Awesome! However now that 99% of my roster is at max level the cooldown time per character is so high and the game content is so shallow that I feel like there isnt much reason to play more than ten minutes daily. If even that. I find myself playing less and less lately. I think we should be able to attack bases of the same affiliation (autobot vs autobot or decepticon vs decepticon) just write it as Your Megatron finding a ‘Megatron imposter’ and his roster that we can attack or our Optimus finding a group of decepticons deguising themselves as autobots to open up the fight pool a little. Overall a fun game with great graphics but falls short in substance. Fun though..Version: 1.70

✓ Love this gameI love this game so much, its very addicting and super fun, i have been playing for about eight months and it has been great i love all the characters and nostalgia from the 80’s as it makes me remember my childhood. I have a few suggestions, one that there should be more of the story modes, like perhaps a certain war where your troops just fight other troops and you could deploy multiple combiners/titans and have like ten instead of eight transformers. It could be like a war offensive to change it up from just attacking bases. The two other things i think would be that you could get a six star of some guys but just a select few, not a ton to really show how hard it is and it would only be available by playing no buying, another idea is either have up to hq 20 or be able to play a conquest mode where you destroy the base that is a cpu and then take it over and build that up. These are so you can keep being able to use the resources and get more characters so the game is forever. ✓ Great game, needs a couple small changesI have been playing for about 2 years. It is a lot of fun, but takes a LOT of work/ time to improve bots and bases. I wish you could level up a single bot instead of having a star rating. OR be able to sell lower level bots for at least building materials. I have a ton of 2 star bots that aren't worth putting any effort into now that I have 3/4 star bots. It is also true a 5 star bot is nearly impossible unless you make this game a full time job. I also wish that you could pick what bot to unlock after you have 20+ bots of a certain star level. Drop rates are tough and spending real money really only buys you a lotto ticket and nothing guaranteed. Even a p2p player would have to spend a LOT and get lucky to really get what they were looking for. If you are a p2p, do a big chunk up front in the beginning because duplicates are highly likely but do help in gearing up your bots. In general I love the game and the nostalgia and will keep playing for the foreseeable future!.Version: 3.0

✓ Autobot’s Rollout!I don’t have very much spare time due to my job, but its nice to see that someone has made a fantastic adaptation of Transformers for the mobile RTS market. I for one love being able to log in a few times a day and send my bots out to attack other the Decepticon. ✓ Amazing game!It’s an amazing game! I absolutely love it! I love the fact that it includes transformers from different continuations, including Beast Wars! Which is my second favorite continuation, second to Transformers Armada. Armada just had so many stupid gimmicks that were soooo stupidity hilarious. However, I do wish for you guys to add more bots from the Transformers Armada continuity. Including Armada Optimus Prime, which is Armada Megatron’s true nemesis, not G2 Laser Optimus Prime. I also wish for minicons from the Unicron Trilogy (Transformers Armada, Transformers Energon, Transformers Cybertron) to become collectible characters within the game as well! Maybe they can function much like the c.o.m.b.a.t system, but instead the minicons could be partners in which you have to equip to a cybertronian from the squad ship in your base? It’s just an idea. I really want the Titan transformers to be collectible characters as well. I also want the Beast War combiners Magnaboss and Tripredacus added to the game, and for both Autobot and Decepticon combiners to be accessible from the combiner lab no matter what faction you chose at the start of the game. Other than those few opinions and desires, this is a great game. This is an excellent example of a great game and I really hope to see more games like this. ✓ Time consumingThe game has its plus and minus factor. The plus is it can be completely free to play and yes you can get all the rewards the big spenders get....But it will take a lot of time and some luck of you aren’t willing to pay, could take over a year to get 1 or 2 combiners... The fact is time consuming is how you have to build the HQ and your characters up will cost plenty of time to be competitive even if you buy the characters with luck you may get new and the ones you want. The factor that doesn’t change is how long it takes to upgrade and strengthen your overall account I have been around since the beginning and have 2 combiners, level 15 HQ and plenty of characters to utilize and only spent $4.99 ever. ✓ Great gameTransformers earth wars is a fantastic game that has solid gameplay, the original G1 music and great graphics. However I feel that this game and its culture is best understood by the really hardcore fans. In my opinion the worst thing about this game is the pull rates, which basically means how often you get new transformers and how often you get duplicates.(known as dupes in the committee) The pull rates are poor but you get lots of new bots (ew, I rhymed) at the start of the game. The only other issues I have with the game are firstly, the loading screen. At times it freezes at 52% and thus hinders your play time. The only other glaring issue, in my opinion, is how hard Combiners are to get. Look, I know they are powerful as flip but we can’t just buying Premium Crystal packs like lunatics, subsequently giving the Apes our money. And did I mention that the thing that lets you build the combiners is locked behind a 2000 recommended bot power level. Overall, the game is phenomenal but it will be most enjoyed by the original G1 fans. Also, one more thing. #addabominus!.Version: 1.69.1
✓ TF EarthWarsThe Game is really fun and mostly great in G1 ways. The low score is for not answering support questions sent from email to the developers and giving So many of the same duplicates. The probability is quite low of the same bot mathematically. Yet I’ve had so many duplicates of the same bots. Especially First Aid. More fairness in this respect would bring the game to a 4 out of five. With higher crystals, like four stars, if you have only a small amount of four star bots, the probability of a duplicate should be low. Yet it takes forever to get one and you still hand out a duplicate. Again not really fair game play. The game is geared towards paying players, it’s a business I get it, but people spend time on the game too. They should be rewarded for choosing it and being dedicated to something they love..Version: 5.1

Once loaded, I’ll do a Battle and the game will crash. Reload game, the game will either say battle interrupted. Will resume at the battle. I try to do another battle, game crashes. Reload again, collect rss game crashes. Reload again, go to pick my team, game crashes. I try to wait a while reload game, it crashes. There is nothing wrong with my internet, clear cache, deleted game and reinstalled with all still having the same problem. Game crashes!! Tried to open on 3 other devices on separate servers but still game crashes no matter what I do. I have yet heard anything from support. I quit spending money cause of this issue. ✓ Well earned 5 starsThe game keeps getting better as better! I grew up watching G1 transformers so I’ve been a big fan of transformers for a long time. Space Ape is doing an amazing job adding new bots from every transformer series to date. New content is added all the time to keep the game’s fun factor rolling. The newest nebula power core update is one of the best updates yet. I still get thrilled using the different combiners. Each combiner has different special abilities which offers a wide variety of tactics to use. I’m hoping Space Ape lets players create their own transformer to use in battle. All in all, Transformers Earth Wars is an awesome game I would recommend. I’ve been playing for a year now and I can’t wait to see what new bots come out and new game features hit..Version: 1.50

You have better odds in Vegas to win then on this game! The Chinese have banned this game in their country and created their own which actually is the same game but they treat the customer better. They have daily sign in which net you nice stuff along with still getting the daily crystals. They bundles are cheaper plus the odds of getting something good is extremely high. ✓ Such a shameI had been really enjoying this game and would have had it at a five star rating but recent events have changed my mind. At the last weekend event I put a huge amount of effort in and won 23 of the special crystals to bring new transformers through the space bride and join my team. I didn’t get a single new transformer with each one being a duplicate. I also won two premium crystals and one three-star crystal and again, no new transformers. This week you could buy Grimlock crystals and I thought, why not, I’ll treat myself and get some nice new bots that I didn’t earn at the weekend event. I have just spent £20 and again got no new transformers! And the duplicates I got were the same duplicates you get from the free crystals. So what, you cannot play to win and you cannot pay to win either. When you put a huge amount of time and a decent amount of money into something and get nothing in return I struggle to see what the point is. ✓ Multiple BotsThis is probably one of the better builder type games, especially since Star Wars commander got discontinued. The only issue that I have is that there are too many versions of one transformer, as in star ratings on 1 bronze star up to 4, then it starts over again at silver then gold, which crate a larger inventory of bots than needed. I would much rather start with one not at the lower rating then build that not up through higher start ratings by upgrading just one and not have to upgrade multiple bots- a 1 bronze star megatron, then a 3 silver start megatron, then Still gotta upgrade the 3 silver star megatron. Just have one and then build that megatron up through upgrades. The multiple versions of a bot are great though..Version: 19.2
✓ Great gameI do like Earth wars. When I downloaded it I absolutely loved it. I like the game mechanics and the overall Clash of Clans style really stood out to me. From the battle mechanics to the upgrading I overall like this game in general. But there are some things I think seem a bit unfair. In game alliance wars can be heavily unmatched, the prices and deals by Space Ape can be slightly unfair and the powerful players power levelling on lower players is slightly unfair. Maybe they can fix this maybe making it so you can’t attack those that will be EXTREMELY easy to defeat. Not in events of course. Some rely on that..Version: 12.1

✓ Only interested in your money, no loyalty rewards, HORRID drop rate.This games drop rate is absolutely horrible. It does not matter if you spend money either, you can quite literally spend $200 on this game, and still not get a combiner. It takes weeks and weeks if not months to save up enough crystal shards to try to get a three or four star bot. And the likelihood it will be a duplicate is ridiculously high. That’s not even touching on the five star bots, which you cannot buy, and are impossible to get. I’ve been playing this game for almost 2 years, and I am about a fourth of the way to attaining 15 star auto bot. In addition, they only want your money and do not reward you for loyalty at all. My phone crashed in the midst of planning and trying to upgrade one of my auto bots abilities. When I went back into the game, it had spent my coins on the upgrade and stead of my gold. ✓ Must have for all G1 fansAnyone who grew up in the 80s and ever read the comics, watched the cartoon or took their bots round to their mates for a battle needs to get this game. There are plenty of more recent iterations covered too, such as Beastwars and the IDW comic books, but it’s rooted firmly in the G1 era. The mechanics of the game are fairly familiar ones of base defence and attack but it’s done well and although of course monetisation is pushed you can progress well without spending anything with a bit of patience. This is especially true once you join an alliance as special events unlock very useful resources. There’s a pretty deep upgrade path for buildings and bots to greatly increase their power. Although you pick a side to start with, once you reach a certain level you can use characters from the other faction in pvp raids, which is a great touch. It’s also got that most unusual of things in an f2p game - a great backstory courtesy of Simon Furman, who’s been writing for the Transfomers universe for years. Every time you unlock a new character there’s a great bit of exposition with their team members, which is often very funny. Only negative I’ve picked up on so far - Shockwave as a medic?! He’s a fifty foot long laser cannon, people! Transform and roll out! (Sorry).Version: 7.0
✓ Good gameIt’s a little different then those of the same type. It’s really cool you can get all these transformers, also you get to shoes which side to use and make your base that type but you are also able to collect and fight with and build up the opposing faction to that of which you chose. So you can collect and use auto bots and decepticons to fight with, but not mixed in the same battle. The only downside is that it’s a bit slow and takes a massive amount of grinding. Even with money it takes a lot of time and effort and they do not make it easy to get the combiners and 4 star bots, which is good because it gives you an edge when you do get the, but it’s not just uncommon or rare it’s like super rare to roll a four star or a long time to get the resources to build a random four star, also the resources are a bit tough to build up and takes a bit and you need a lot to get to end game..Version: 17.2

The only thing I don't like about the game, is the prices of the crystal bundles. A idea for the game is making a campaign on two bots, rattrap and terasaur they make good rivals and here are some abilities that you might use. Rattraps ability, bomb shells: Rattrap throws in 4 gernades dealing 540 damage and causes burning after dealing 15 damage for 4 sec each. Terasaurs ability, long shot: Terasaur unleash his might by firing four shots of his deadly shoulder cannons causing 580 damage to the battlefield and burning it to cause 15 damage for 4 sec each. The game has so many objectives and characters that there is always something to do. But, there are a few flaws. For starters, there is a power cell system that only lets you play while you have power cells. You lose five every battle and have a maximum of 50. You recharge 1 power cell every 5 minutes. That means you will be waiting to play more than actually playing. Especially because you have to recharge characters as well as power cells. If they removed one of these energy systems (preferably the power cells) than it would allow us to play it more and have more fun using it. That kinda and really does bother me because I don’t know why but would it be better if you have the deceptacons unlocked and you have the combiner lab I fell like you should be able to use the deceptacon combiners. Plus the fact that you can’t use autobot combiners even if you activate it and go on a deceptacon team you can’t use it. ✓ Please fix this issue!The game is better than probably everything on mobile and tablets but there is a bug that is repeatedly happening, every time i open the game and wait for it to load. it freezes at 51% i then restart and do the exact same as before, still freezes at 51% i decided to uninstall then reinstall the game to see if that would work but it didn’t at all. this time it gives your hopes up and freezes at 97%... i’ve tried the same processes numerous times, and get no benefit. please fix my problem for me and whoever is having this issue because i really enjoyed playing this game! thank you!.Version: 1.69.1

✓ Bugs galore and very slow progressI started playing this game before it was released worldwide. I now recently revisited it and remembered why I gave up playing it. The game has bugs - inexcusable after so many years! It is very slow to load even on the latest iPhone. Progress is super slow once you start to get to higher levels. If you have hundreds or thousands of spare dollars, then you can speed things up a little but still slow to level up bots. Half of the game is based on a gambling basis, not earned. New or better level bots are rather hard to get with this game structure - unless you buy them - very expensive! Some aspects of the game are great, and the graphics and animation are mostly very well done. My recommendation is to play the early levels, then give the higher levels a miss..Version: 16.2

✓ Great, but buggyI genuinely love this game. I’m not usually a fan of real-time strategy games, but my love for Transformers brought me to this. I enjoyed it, and still do. But there’s several bugs that I can see that are just annoying. The first, not a big deal though, is that Blaster arms are stuck in one perpetual state, like they have no animation at all. It’s not crucial to fix it, but it would be nice. And second, the new chips and crystals menu: I keep looking at my crystal and chip menu, seeing “3 crystals available” when they are, in fact, not. It is extremely inconvenient that I have to manually check if they’re actually there when it says they are and they aren’t. It would be extremely beneficial to fix these, for both the consumers and the developers.Version: 18.1
✓ The way to get you hooked then rake u over the coalsIf you like transformers then you will like the game. After all that's what the game is about "Transformers ". However since the game is about transformers why not spend a little of your hard earned $$ to get by our favourite bot? Well that spot the way this game works. From the bugs and randomness of the game you be other except it or move on. Bugs range from abilities bot working right to plain old bathing problems. Bots will wonder off or will attack walls. Better still is the commander setting a rush point and the bots totally ignore it. The bots "appear" when you get a crystal and pop it in tge space bridge. Well 1% of tge time you will get a bit you need. The others are duplicate or just some crap you already have. Free crystals give you more boosts than the usable stuff and the way the system works you are better off just not using them because they do not help in war. Some people will read this and say this person is way off but I played 3 years before I finally just gave it up adept this review. No more of my time or $$ on this game. So do yourself a favour and go to another game..Version: 5.1

✓ Amazing game, but it crashes soo often!!!So, the 5 stars is just to ensure this gets seen in the case of a bug that needs fixing. My actual rating at the moment is about 3.5, but for good reason. Overall, this game is an natural delight for TF lovers like myself. It has a wide range of characters, they have a modern feel to them yet still reflect the G1 versions of themselves, and gameplay is generally good. One thing that does annoy me though is how often the game crashes!! It will crash every few minutes, usually after or before a battle as well as during most loading screens, and the amount of gameplay time I’m missing from having to start the game up again and again is hugely hindering me and my overall experience. Once this problem is fixed, I will not hesitate to give this a ‘real’ 5 stars, but the issue is so bad that I am losing hours of game time and that just isn’t sitting well with me. ✓ So close but so far.The game has a lot of potential. Developers refuse to listen to player feedback although they continually pretend to just to egg players on. Progress in the game is heavily restricted and the only way forward is to pay exorbitant amounts for new bots where you only receive duplicates. ✓ Great game, fun to play and watching transformations is great. beware of the crystals $$ trapThere are a lot of great things to love in this game. Animation of bot, transformation, and alt modes is first class. Starting out is easy and you can build a good bot team quickly. There are a lot of good Alliances you can join at different levels of play. Events are fun. Campaign gives you a good base to understand how the game works including special abilities, combiners, and cores. Bad points are all linked to drop rate and how crystals work. unless you are lucky you can be searching for the one bot you want or need to complete your first combiner for a year. Packs look ok until you check the drop rate. Under 2% for a 4 star and under 11% for a 3 star. As combiners are only 3-4 stars this can cause a lot of spending, also characters crystals can still give random bots just the drop rate for that character is a little higher. I would rate it 5 stars if you could buy bots or 2stars were removed from character crystals..Version: 1.68

✓ A decent gameI really like the game, but it does cater more towards people who are able to spend a lot on in app purchases. While you are able to get the vast majority of items and bots without paying anything, it is at times really hard to get new bots, and the alloy harvesters earn about double that of Energon harvesters of the same level, despite the fact that storage buildings for each resource hold the same amount at equal levels..Version: 1.53

Also please please please! Have it so that free crystals have a higher chance of having 2 Star robots because I’m sick of getting sparks and items so please devs fix this so it becomes a bit more enjoyable also can you make it so that when you unlock the autobots at decepticon hq 9 can you make it so that you can get free autobot crystals that way I don’t have to save up for a month in cyber coins..Version: 1.65.1
✓ Transformers done properly...As a fan of Transformers since the 80s, this game hits all the right notes for me. Once you’ve powered through the early base levels and joined an alliance, things start to get really interesting. I find this game endlessly compelling and, no doubt, I will continue to do so. The only real criticism for me is the drop rate on the crystals being so low. Don’t bother buying bot crystal bundles or premium crystal bundles, the odds of getting any bot above 3* are incredibly low..Version: 19.2
