Recipe Keeper Tasty Organizer for Positive User Reviews

Love it!My husband and and I love this app....we both love finding new recipes, sharing, and saving them in one super accessible place. It’s our new “household recipe book”..Version: 4.0.582

Excellent app thanks :-)Super easy to import recipes, amend existing ones or even add one by typing it in! The best feature is that it keeps the screen unlocked when viewing a recipe, absolutely love that this stops my dirty cooking fingers getting my phone all manky while cooking 🤣 I am loving gathering all my recipes together here instead of having multiple web browser pages open 😊.Version: 5.4

ExcellentFinally getting rid of all the magazine cut outs cluttering up my drawers and taking them on the road with me. Great app, thanks!!.Version: 4.1.782

Best Recipe Keeper!Whilst I still have my old handwritten recipe book that has the recipes I started cooking with some 20 years ago, as I’ve expanded my range of cuisine I’ve relied more and more on internet recipes and it’s been a nightmare trying to keep them organised in bookmarks (did I mark it on my phone? Tablet? Work computer?) and printing/writing out new recipes is too time consuming. This app has been a game changer. Marking recipes on my account so I can access them anywhere on all devices. Bookmarks are brilliant for the culinary how-to articles for new things. Add to that the weekly planner and shopping list…it’s perfect! Food waste is reduced as it allows me to easily plan a week at a time and focus on recipes that use the same ingredients in different ways. Just brilliant. I rarely purchase big apps but this has been worth every penny!.Version: 4.2.8

The best app, superior customer serviceAnd yet another update: years later, this app is still the best. It’s so incredibly easy and user friendly, but I think my favorite thing is still the amazing customer support, which is becoming so rare these days. Emails are answered promptly and solutions follow quickly. Updates reflect customer needs and reviews, not what some tech nerd who doesn’t cook thinks will be cool. Five stars every day! Customer update: I’ve now been using this app for several years, and I am more pleased every year. It continues to check all the boxes that I need for an efficient and versatile recipe keeper Their customer service can’t be beat! This App is incredibly versatile in that it allows you to download recipes from many platforms: websites, screen shots, photos of favorites or typing in your recipes, and you can add your own notes. Multiple folders allow you to organize your recipes, and tags allow you to search for ingredients or recipes. Best of all, the developers LISTEN to customer comments and answer questions quickly. Updates actually reflect customer input. I’ve tried several recipe apps and been disappointed, but I’ve used OrganizEat for several years and it has always exceeded my expectations..Version: 5.6

I love this appI love the mobility too. If I’m visiting family I can cook up any recipe from my phone or ipad. So convenient..Version: 2.9.6

OrganizeatFantastic App. Allows me to save all the good recipes I find I Online and on social media so simply. Like the way it lets me save under different headings. Definitely recommended..Version: 2.1.1

Something I have been looking for...I have tried many recipe managers and most of them are quite good but lack in something major such as layout, looks, ease of use etc. I tried this app and viola! from the start I was feeling very happy with it. Easy to navigate, the layout is simple (which it should be) and the extras such as photo recipe and web tagging of recipes are absolutely great. Yes, there are times, and not all that often, a website is not compatible but that is not the app’s fault and it always provides a backup bookmark option for later reference anyway. Only other *very minor* comment would be more skins but that won’t affect my rating of the app. After about an hour of use I was so impressed that I purchased an annual subscription to the app (for less than $1 per month)..Version: 3.0

Worth the InvestmentsI invested in this app as my primary recipe keeper about 3 years ago, and I love it. It keeps my recipes well-organized and easy-to-find, and it’s really easy to input a recipe and just as importantly, really easy to add my own notes about tweaking the recipe to my family’s tastes and needs. I paid the one-time fee for “Lifetime” full access to the apps’ features so I could upload up to 5 images, which has been super helpful when I find a recipe I like online. One of the awesome things about this app is that my recipes sync up; whether I input a recipe through my iPad or my iPhone, the recipe is accessible through the other device. This is essential for me because I often need to open a recipe while in the grocery store to make sure I buy the right ingredients. I’m not a great cook, but this recipe-keeper app helps me be a better cook. Also, I got a new iPhone for Christmas, and accessing my recipes and my original “Lifetime” purchase on my new devise was a simple tap of a button when the app prompted me. I don’t have time for “complicated” tech, so I love the ease of this app. It was a fantastic investment that continues to meet all my expectations and needs..Version: 4.0.582

Finally! Finally a great app to upload & store all of my favorite recipes. Over the years, after collecting & accumulating many recipes, I found myself forgetting where a particular recipe was....in a recipe book, on a cut out, hand written, saved to my photos etc. Now they are all in one place. This app is extremely efficient and streamlined. I never usually pay for apps but this is definitely worth every cent..Version: 3.3.6

AwesomeSo awesome. Easy to use.Version: 5.4

Recipes on the go!Love that I can have all my recipes in one searchable location & be able to access them without prior planning via my mobile when at the supermarket. I also really love how easy it is to add the ingredients of whatever recipe I want to cook to a shopping list and cross them off the list as I go. It also has great meal planning functionality. And the import from website feature is very handy when it works. I only have 1 minor complaint/wish list item - I’d like to be able to group ingredients (so I can group dressing or wet/dry ingredients etc)..Version: 4.1.4

Best Recipe App on the MarketI’ve used several recipe apps over the years and none come even close to this! You can keep your precious family recipes safe as well as be inspired by what others are cooking. They are constantly improving and updating the features and really listen to their clients. Give it a try - you won’t regret it, I promise!.Version: 4.1.4

Great app for storing recipesLove this app! So easy to store and find recipies by category.Version: 4.0.48

FantasticThis app is great, it imports recipes directly from external websites seamlessly as well as letting you put them in manually. I have it on my phone and my iPad, so I can quickly check ingredients required on my phone while I’m in the supermarket but then have it in large scale on my iPad while cooking. It’s also great how it will hook you back into the original web page recipe too, as sometimes these have videos or tips you want to see again. Great job!.Version: 4.0.582

BrilliantBest app to keep your recipes. Easy to use, easy to save recipes from webs. You can easily share the recipes in your app with others, send in messages, share in Facebook and other platforms, email them... you can add pictures links and videosLinks in your notes section. It is incredible because my device does not switch off while using the app which is very useful So fantastic I upgraded to full use as I think it’s worth it and much cheaper than buying extra cards for my recipe folder and this way I never misplace my cards. Thank you OrganizEat team for developing such an excellent app!.Version: 4.0.582

App is great, sales model not so muchI've had the free version of the app for a few weeks and have had great success with it. But when I considered buying the $20 full version versus the $4 yearly subscription, the subscription clearly seemed like the way to go, since there aren't many apps I can say I've used for at least 5 years. But you can only buy the $20 version through the App Store; the $4 version you buy through the app by putting in your iTunes password. That's basically like me saying, "I'll give you $16 in exchange for a password linked to your credit card!" Nice app and all, but I don't trust you that much! So do everyone a solid and make the subscription available for purchase through iTunes, mmkay? Other than that, love the app. My only suggested changes would be to let you record when you've made a recipe and give it reviews so you can remember how much you liked it/if you would change anything the next time you made it. (Of course you could type that into the Notes field but an actual rating system would be better.).Version: 2.7.6

5 star reviewI have been using the app for a while and recommended it to friends and family so we can share cooking ideas. I love collecting recipes from different places and the app lets me do that be it from a magazine, papers, friends cookbook or the internet. Then when I’m thinking what can I make for dinner or with something that’s in the fridge I can have a look at ideas on the app and get some inspiration. Really recommend it, try it out and see what you think..Version: 4.0.582

Awesome appSo excited to have an app to organise all my recipes. It’s easy to use and has the features I want..Version: 3.3.90

IntuitiveEasy to use and friendly interface design. Love the super cute app icons 💕 Some things I feel could be added include allowing for more photos than three per recipe, as some recipes require many screen caps. Also an idea might be to categorise recipes by ethnicity of recipe origin, or just alphabetical order with food types as sub categories. Would be awesome to have a desktop version so we could edit recipes on laptops, which is much easier than phones and tablets. Overall a great app 😊💕.Version: 4.2.8

Brilliant! Just what I’ve been looking for.I absolutely love this app. It is intuitive to what you want to do when organising recipes. You can photograph them, import them or manually write them in. You can tag them so you can search easily for things like recipes good for “guests” or “kids”. I have over 300 recipe books but obviously don’t like all the recipes in every book. This is a great way of filing those I do. And the bonus of that is that I have them on my phone when I’m on holiday or just shopping and want to buy the ingredients and haven’t made a list. On top of this the customer service is responsive and helpful. I really recommend it. It’s simple but perfect..Version: 4.0.42

Lifesaver!I love this app, it’s literally stopped my husband and I divorcing over the amount of cookery magazines & books in our house! Now when I see a recipe I just save it by taking a picture or uploading to this app and it’s there forever! I can save it in multiple sections which helps massively as sometimes I want the sauce for one recipe for another one for example..Version: 4.8

Best everGreat app. Easy to upload saved hard copy recipes via photos and categorise them. The recent ability to add recipes from online links is fabulous. I downloaded and paid for unlimited and I can’t rate it high enough. Also great that can sync with iPad, then whilst out grocery shopping and about refer to my phone for ingredients etc..Version: 4.9.2

Organise eats ratingJust started using this and v simple to get the hang of. Great presentation. Many thanks.Version: 4.2.2

Awesome organiserI couldn’t do without this AP! It has transformed my crazy recipe filing system. A must have!.Version: 4.0.582

Great appWonderful place to view and store my recipes in case of emergencies or when travelling 😊.Version: 5.6

OrganizEatThis is a wonderful app for for storing all your recipes and totally user friendly. You can enter your recipes by copy & paste, screenshot or type them in. And it’s all uploaded to the cloud so you’re never going to lose a recipe ever again. I did a lot of research before downloading it and am convinced it is by far the best of its type. I have been using it for years and only now have a slight glitch occurring but Rachel (who developed the app) is on the case and emails me almost daily trying to solve the problem. Where else do you get that sort of service..Version: 5.4

Well Deserved Five StarsThis app is brilliant, you get what you pay for. It easily saves recipes without me needed to type a thing, all I need to do is save it to its category. Worth the year subscription and I don’t usually like paying for subscriptions unless it’s an app I will actually use all the time. This is one. I’m just happy I have stopped my search looking for a decent app to store my favourite recipes in. Thank you to the app developers, well done! Five stars from me! Keep up the great work!.Version: 4.1.802

Même en voyage je peux préparer mes recette préféréesGrâce à OrganizEat elles me suivent partout. Je ne suis jamais en panne et je peux partager mes coups de Cœur avec mes amis..Version: 5.1

Love this app!! ☺️Excellent app, really useful. It’s my mobile recipe book. Especially good when you’re getting groceries and need ideas for dinner. Some feedback: If one adds a food photo first up it doesn’t display as the main recipe photo, (the cover). You’ve got to reopen the app, edit and click ‘cover’. Be great if you could get around this. Also, I have a paid account and can only add 3 images. Is it possible to add more?.Version: 4.9.4

Love this App!This app is really easy to use & looks really good. I wouldn’t be without it..Version: 4.1.802

Just what I’ve been looking for…So glad when my SIL introduced me to this handy app. I have always had to print my recipes and save to a binder. Not any more with this new app! I look forward to using some interesting looking recipes after the holidays..Version: 5.4

Seems very usefulI haven’t used this app much yet as I wanted to see how good it was before I invested too much time and effort in collating all my recipes, but so far so good. The only annoying thing I have come across is when editing the amount of an ingredient it seems to not save my change each time but I could be doing something wrong and haven’t got the hang of it yet. I can see this app being super useful and using it everyday..Version: 4.4

Great appSuch a great app. So much easier than trying to get that big old recipe book out! Love that the app is also written by a Mama!.Version: 5.4

Very HappyHave been using app for a couple of years now and does what I need for saving special recipes I find along the way. Good functionality and easy to use..Version: 4.1.782

Fantastic organising appI love this app. It’s so easy to use and is so useful for storing all of my recipes no matter whether they are in a book, from online or passed down through friends and family. It’s even useful for helping me decide on dinner ideas by searching by ingredients. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who loves to be organised.Version: 4.1.76

Great appBy far the best recipe app I’ve found, well worth the small subscription. Very aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. Love it..Version: 4.9.101

Best one I’ve foundI relentlessly save recipes - it’s a habit I can’t break - and organizing them has been so exhausting- copying them down, trying to make a file system, deciding between the ‘chicken’ folder or the ‘casserole’ folder, etc. This app has such a wonderful, helpful solution. I was very very reluctant to spend $40 on it, and now I feel it’s worth twice that amount!! It makes it so easy to cut and paste, or copy, or add a picture, or just start typing. It imports from a lot of different sites - which is hugely convenient. Correcting and editing works really well, too. I never get any nasty messages- like you’re running out of space or you need to upgrade, etc. Since I can ‘file’ recipes in several different folders, it helps with those decisions too. In short, I just can’t live without it. If I could add some features: I’d like to ‘cancel last action’ (when I delete by mistake), and maybe add some measurements automatically - like ‘teaspoons,’ ‘cups,’ and so. And maybe add some more icons to use for category fields. Also, maybe improve the editing feature - it brings up the fields you want to edit in an awkward configuration. Bottom line - best recipe app I’ve ever found!.Version: 4.2.8

Best recipe app I’ve ever had!!!!This app is great...I ended up buying the annual subscription which is cheap as! I love how I can upload from the internet and categorise the recipes. The shopping trolley function is fantastic as I can add from the recipes or add my own. Also has the function where I can select recipes for the week and access them quickly. Also, love the add folder function. I love the outlay as well, very easy to use. I use this app daily and highly recommend it, they have a free version which allows 40 recipes but I’m up to 100’s now. love this app!!!.Version: 4.0.50

ExcellentI have been using this app for some time now. This app is really useful. You can scan photos or type in recipes. Equally useful, the app imports recipes from online sources. Commonly, while waiting for some mundane event to occur, I think about cooking a meal. I search recipes for a given dish online and find one I like. You can do this with the app or just with google. When I find a recipe with google. I paste the web address into Recipe Keeper and the app imports the recipe. I have done this from many sites and it has always worked. In the app, imported recipes are displayed in an organized fashion so that the recipe can be accessed easily. After loading a recipe to my phone, which is where I often search, the imported recipe is synced from my phone to my iPad. I like to use my iPad to follow the recipe. So far this app has been flawless. I would highly recommend it..Version: 4.9.9

Something you can stick withAfter years of collecting recipes and many attempts at collating them into one place I ended up with 30 recipe books, about 500 unnamed screenshots and pages of handwritten notes. This app has saved me and given me hope that I will actually be able to move them all to one place - I’ve stuck with it for over a month now and find it so easy to use - it hasn’t let me down. Importing from webpages is a godsend (you really don’t need to read a full anecdote every time you want to find that recipe). I use the meal planner to track my left overs (recording each time we Have eaten it not just when we cook it which has been handy too..Version: 4.1.4

So Easy To Organize All Your Recipes!I had been looking for a while for a way to get all my hand written recipes in electronic format, when I found this app. I was just about to purchase one of those scanners with the software to do it. I’m glad I saved all that money!! I had over 80 hand written recipes, and I was able to add them in a very short time! I just took a picture, named it, put in keywords I wanted to use to find it easy, and then put it under the right category. This app lets you take more than one picture of a recipe, so if you want the recipe, then a picture of what it looks like you can do that. I had a lot of recipes my Mom wrote out. She is gone now, but I still have her recipe in electronic format in her handwriting, which meant a lot to me. You can also type out a whole recipe if you want, and it will link to recipes in other websites, etc, although I have not used that feature. It is also super easy to share a recipe with someone by email or text. So next time you take something to a potluck and people want the recipe, just share it with them - then I usually recommend this app to them too! I use this app on my phone and my iPad, so you can do that too - just go into it. Try this app!! You cannot go wrong. You can try it for free and do a few recipes to see how easy and wonderful it is, then if you like it buy it. It is worth it!! I recommend this all the time to friends and family..Version: 4.1.4

Foodie Love I can share with my adult childrenI love this app! I love how I can add recipes by taking a photo of my grandmother’s holiday spice cookie recipe or by automatically uploading a new recipe I found in the latest issue of Food and Wine. I can add notes, search words, my own photos, scale up or down, and highlight favorites. I can even edit my pictures by cropping or fixing lighting etc. Meal planning, shopping and prep is easier because my recipes are always with me (tablet, phone) - at the grocery store, visiting my mom, everywhere. My children used to call for favorite recipes - now they check my OrganizEat collection first. If it’s not yet there, it’s super easy to upload…and then add a picture of our successful dinner project. I can share recipes super easily. I am constantly adding recipes and giving away cookbooks that take up space I don’t have. I find OrganizEat an indispensable tool. I’m so glad I purchased the full version and invested the time (and continue to do so) to make this a one-stop recipe gallery. I highly recommend OrganizEat to anyone who cooks, especially for folks who want to organize their recipe collection into one simple to use visually appealing, digital database..Version: 4.1.4

Very good for managing recipesBeen looking for an app like this for awhile before I found this one and I am really happy with it. It has diff categories which can be changed, it can get you recipes from photos, automatically from websites or from google, or it can be types. It also helps with planning weekly meals and shopping lists. It is honestly perfect for storing and managing recipes. I’m saying his after I have tried all traditional paper based methods as well as word files. Worth the money.Version: 4.1.4

Greatest App!I was getting very tired of always trying to remember which recipe box had which recipe, so I decided to check for an app. Read the reviews on a number of apps and decided this one sounded the best. Quickly found it was for me. After using the free version and quickly getting to my limit, I purchased the next step up (not one for taking a lot of pictures of what I cook😏). I like the idea that now my favorite recipes are mobile with me so when we go back home to visit I can actually contribute to the meals!! I also thought this was so great I told my little sister about it as she and her husband are the "chefs" of the family!! I hope she likes it as much as I do. The only thing I would like to see added/changed are the icons you can use when adding/changing categories. There needs to be more of them and you should be able to change the ones they have already set up if you want them to be a little different!!.Version: 2.9.8

I finally paid for an app! 😂This app is wonderful! For years, I looked for YEARS for an app that would store my recipes from everywhere…my paper ones, online, books, etc. This app is so easy to use and my recipes look great and organized! The best part? I can import recipes from my favorite sites with a click, and they are perfectly organized!!! This is a FANTASTIC feature!!! And, I can share my recipes with my son, who is such a foodie! If you need to edit or put notes on a recipe, it is SO easy! I NEVER pay for apps. At first, it was a tough decision. I mean, if you are actually going to pay for an app, the lifetime is really the only way to go. So after adding my maximum recipes, I had to make that decision. I bought the app the next day. I don’t think I could live without this app now. Thank you to the developers of OrganizEat. I truly LOVE your app! One feature I would love is if you could make the recipe bigger by pinching it out. Seeing as I plan to use this app for the next 50 years…there’s time!.Version: 4.6

Fantastic virtual recipe tinThis is a brilliant app - easily the best I’ve tried! I started using Organizeat a few years ago, and it has simply continued to evolve and get better with time. I love being able to organise and categorise the recipes so easily, and the automatic shopping list is great! Recently I had a few problems with the app (entirely user-error), and sent off a frantic email, which was promptly and efficiently responded to, and then escalated straight to the app developer when I needed further help. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything was sorted very quickly for me. Wonderful app, and well worth having!!.Version: 3.9.986

Recipe to go!!I love cooking and I adore finding new cook books and recipes. I am enjoying keeping my favourite recipes stored on my iPad and phone, so that wherever I am ( we a big motorhome users and like to travel!) I have them to hand. Also just good to look through for inspiration and I no longer need to write recipes down on scraps of paper!!! I am really enjoying this app and now feel organised and paperless 😁😃.Version: 4.1.4

Best Organiser!!I never thought I would enjoy an app so much organising all my recipes and finding more. You can look up new recipes and with a click of button its in your organiser with the photo, ingredients and method. You can even click on the link in the organiser and it will take you straight to the link and show a video making the dish. Not every recipe on google has the link to this organiser but many do. It’s worth every penny!.Version: 3.9.998

Easy to use and visually appealingI love this app. It’s easy to use and visually appealing. I especially like that you can search for recipes right in the app. I haven’t encountered any prompts to make purchases or upgrade which I love..Version: 5.3

Best Recipe AppI have used OrganizEat for years and it just keeps getting better. You can easily add recipes from websites, add your own, categorize, favourite, tag, and discover others recipes. On top of that you can meal plan, and create grocery list. There is also a desktop version you can use that will sync to the App. The developers have kept it reasonably priced if you go premium, I did. I’ve never had any problems with extra charges or any like that!.Version: 5.7

Recommend for keeping recipes organizedMy sister shared OrganizEat with me and it has been helpful in keeping my recipes organized. Once I find a good recipe, then I usually like to keep it handy to rotate when I meal plan each week. There are plenty of categories and it’s fairly easy to import a recipe from a browser too. It will do it automatically by only including the portion sizes and steps (not all the other boring blog notes, pictures, etc that is often included in recipe articles). I also like that the device screen while in the app doesn’t fade out and my phone doesn’t lock when you’re following along with a recipe - super handy feature! My only con of the app is sometimes this auto transfer from browser to app doesn’t work seamlessly but they give you an option to screenshot snip images of the recipes as a back up option. My request with this back up option would be to allow more snip images as I think it maxes out at 3-4 images which sometimes isn’t enough. Other than that recommend this app if you want a quick easy way to organize and reference your favorite recipes!.Version: 4.0.582

Top AppTo be honest, a friend had told me about an app for recipes and when I was hunting it out this came up - and thinking it was that, I got stuck in and fell in love. When I realised I had the wrong app I got the other as well and soon ditched it as it was nothing on OrganizEat. I love this app, I love how you can be standing aimlessly but in a hurry in the supermarket and seconds later your dinner decision has been made with your list of ingredients literally in your hand. I love how you can pop in the photo of recipes as they come and also the photo of how your creation turned out. I love how you can add notes to every recipe, you can share and I really love how you don’t have to stick to just the provided recipe categories, you can create your own - such as Party Bites or Heavenly Healthy. As a rule I do not pay for apps. OrganisEat is the best one off payment I have spent on my phone, with no money nagging and I definitely recommend to everyone. Thanks.Version: 3.3.8

Useful!I like this app! I very rarely pay for apps but after using the free version for a bit I decided it was worth it. I like being able to organise recipes and stuff easily and that they can be photos from online, books, handwritten....anything at all! Is useful that you can catergorise them and the tags is a great idea. Everything is handy and in one place when I need it! Perfect!.Version: 4.0.582

Great app! This app is fantastic - allowing you to store recipes from photos and web links that make it so user friendly! Even makes sharing recipes incredibly easy - love it!.Version: 5.4

Loving itI’ve been looking for a user friendly app to save all my recipes on and this app by far is Amazing and so simple to use. I can’t wait to start saving all of my recipes in my book so that I can have it with me at all times and in a very organised way. Thank you for creating this app. Definitely recommend A+++ especially love the fact that I can take a picture and then it’s there and saves me typing everything out..Version: 4.9.9

Fab cookbookI am an avid cook, and had 100's of cook books, when we sold up and downsized I needed to reduce my collection. So started looking for some way of keeping my prized recipes. Tried several apps, then found this one. Just used the trial first and then upgraded. This app is so easy to use, to sort, to add new recipes (especially using the photo option my favorite) easy to change the folders as to meet my requirements. Found this to be exactly what I needed. thankyou.Version: 4.0.582

Perfect app!! Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this app deserves five stars I love it and use it all the time. It makes it easy to access and save the recipes that work really well for me. Also it doesn’t have all the long paragraphs of all the writing that your scrolling through trying to get to the recipe and ingredients it’s just there. Also it makes it easier for my kids to access if they want to cook I can say click on snack and find the Muesli. It also has fun pictures to put on your category. Bye this app now it’s amazing!!.Version: 4.1.4

Such a great app!I’m loving this app - it’s so good having one app to store all my recipes and to search for inspiration, as well as the numerous other convenient features the app offers (store by category, search by word, share with others etc etc). 100% recommend for anyone wanting a simple, easy to use app.Version: 4.0.582

Simple and great appI tried a few other recipe apps before settling on this one. The clincher was the ability to save recipes from photos and add key search words. I had a huge collection of recipe magazines and I have now saved all of the recipes that I wanted to keep in this app (I have 700+ recipes, divided up in folders, that I can easily search for using words I have selected myself - eg super quick, BBQ, school lunches, etc). Regardless of where I am, I can access my entire recipe collection on my phone (if I’m shopping, I can check a recipe for ingredients). Quite simply, I love it..Version: 4.0.582

Does exactly what you need!Easy to import any only recipe with just the html. Has categories for finding certain recipes. Works entirely free for a decent number of recipes. Not much more you can ask for!.Version: 5.6

Love this app!I used to take photos of friends cookbook recipes or recipes from magazines, they would get lost amongst the thousands of other pics. Now I use this app to organise recipes, I tag based on which cookbooks they came from and I use it to plan our family meals every week. I love it!.Version: 4.0.582

NutritionI have used this app for several years. The new update is brilliant and I now use no other app to store my recipes. There is only one improvement I can think of and that is to be able to import the nutritional information when it is present in a recipe. I currently copy and paste into the notes but it would be good if this was automatic. I know the team are working on this request..Version: 4.5

The best way to store and organize recipesI have been using this app for awhile now, and wanted to express my thanks for a product worth my money. The ability to store and organize recipes on this is the best I’ve found. Making your own category headings, then arranging to your liking has simplified my recipe collection. The ability to store a recipe from a photo is boss. (Let’s be honest, those of us who can barely remember the date are not going to take the time to type up a recipe). I optimize it for my tried and true family recipes, and store “try me” recipes under separate folders. This makes it so easy to share recipes as well. My mom stores her recipes in various folders and books, and would call me when she couldn’t find certain family faves. I had her download the app, and she can access them at all times. My daughter is the type that bullet journals and makes all her things beautiful with calligraphy. I am about efficiency and organization, so creating a book of family recipes as she requested isn’t my cup of tea. She downloaded the app, and can now decorate and write up her family recipe book as she sees fit, on her own time schedule. She is able to see her fav recipes in my sloppy handwriting and notes whenever she likes. My youngest daughter has her own folders, so she can explore the culinary world without messing up my organization. So much to love. Thank you for a much needed product!.Version: 4.1.802

Great Solution!I am an avid hobby cook with over 400 cookbooks, a big box of recipes that I have collected, two shoeboxes full of recipes that I inherited from my mother and grandmother, and too many cooking blog and website subscriptions to count. Trying to come up with an organized way to save my favorites has been next to impossible until now. Using the tools provided in the app, I was careful to build my system before starting to add recipes, creating over 60 categories of recipes. Now my family’s favorite paella recipe can be found in several different categories: foods that feed a crowd, seafood entrées, Spanish recipes and casual outdoor entertaining. That way, if I am scanning any of those four categories for inspiration, I am reminded of and can easily locate our paella recipe. Thanks to the developers for envisioning and engineering such a useful recipe app!.Version: 5.6

ReviewI have just started. The app was recommended to me by a friend whose opinion I respect. So far it has been easy and I’m excited. Have tidied up my scraps of paper and I am looking forward to collecting lots more in the folders. I even found creating my own folders easy. I am keen to recommend the app to friends of mine too. I am an old girl over 70, but it is all very easy. Thank you..Version: 4.2.8

Love itThis is the best app I have found for storing and organising recipes. Very intuitive and easy to use. Currently using the free version as just discovered and exploring but will definitely be upgrading as I’m incredibly impressed! I have so many cookbooks and being able to store these easily on my phone, as well as saving recipes from the web, blogs etc will make life so much easier. Awesome job!.Version: 4.1.4

Livre de recettesTrès bel app, facile d’utilisation.Version: 5.6

Best recipe app everI’ve tried a few apps and this is the best I’ve ever used. User friendly and works so well.Version: 5.6

App reviewLove the app lets me organize my recipes and have quick easy access.Version: 5.6

Just what I neededI’m forever forgetting my recipes as I usually “wing it”, even though they turn out pretty well! I kept saying to myself I really need to write them down one day on paper and take a photo so I can remember how it looked, not only so I could recreate the dishes but also to give myself some dinner inspo when I’m stuck on ideas for my meal prep/ when doing my weekly food shop. I then thought, “there must be an app for this” - and what do you know! Just what I needed - my virtual cook book..Version: 5.6

ReviewSuper handy app.Version: 4.0.582

OrganizEat = Organised MeI have been using this App for a few years... I love it! I work full time & have three teenage children, OrganizEat assists me by storing my favourite recipes & when shopping, if I’m not sure of required ingredients, I am able to check the ingredients in the recipes stored in OrganizEat. I initially trialled the free version but was quickly converted to the paid version.... this App is a great way of storing my favourite recipes which are always at my fingertips whether I’m home or away! Do yourself a favour.......Version: 4.0.582

I Love This AppI’m really picky about apps, so I was thrilled to find this one. It is very nice to look at. There are cute little icons (that you can use any way you want) to create custom categories for your recipes, and you can add a given recipe to as many categories as you like, so if you have overlapping ones you’re not forced to have it under only one section. You can put pictures for each recipe, which I love, being very visual. It has everything you need without being too busy/overwhelming. It’s cool that you can even choose a color scheme for the app, so if you love/hate a certain look you can have control over what you look at. And I LOVE that it syncs across devices so you can check and edit recipes on whatever machine you happen to be using. I wish the web version was free to use, or at least had a one time purchase price, but I understand that websites cost money to maintain. I wouldn’t mind paying a one time fee (even if it was a little high) for permanent access. I just don’t like ongoing bills. That has nothing to do with how awesome the app is though. It’s fantastic. I bought the lifetime subscription for the phone app version and am very pleased with it. And Rachel, if you’re reading this as you say you do, it would be sweet if you could add a mint/Seafoam color theme to the app. That’s my favorite. ;).Version: 4.2.2

I keep coming back to use itI have so much love for this app and its functionality. Its the first program that i have kept around the longest simply because its easier to use and and i relate better to food icons as menu folders for finding receipes quicker. Its quick, responsive and super easy to change any page, add extra items or copy something over. It gives you a great database range of storage. If I had to change anything, id would like to see more skin options. Keep up the great work!!.Version: 3.3.82

Best food appI don’t typically purchase apps but I am glad I did for OrganizEat. It allows me to keep my recipes in one place wherever I am in the world, share recipes with family and friends and find new meal ideas. It is also so easy and intuitive to use. For any foodie, I highly recommend..Version: 5.6

Didn’t realise what I was missingWith family coming to stay for quite a while, I was looking to do a bit of forward planning. With small children in the family and wanting dishes that could be enjoyed by all, this meant looking for recipes outside my regular rotation. I try to minimise printer use so I saved recipe links to the notes area of my IPad but found trying to prepare shopping lists from this proved a really frustrating time-waster and then how to make notes on the the recipes themselves for future use? Then I happened across this brilliant app! I now feel quite confident about planning menus and catering for their visit without wasting precious time I could be spending with them. I feel the app was a very good use of a relatively small amount of money. I couldn’t be more pleased and foresee using it a great deal even after their visit. Thank you app developer..Version: 4.8

Brilliant AppI use this every single morning for planning that evening meal and also planning the weeks meals, thanks Tesco! I love it so much, I always type in my own tried and tested recipes! The app is pretty and colourful and easy to use! I’d request maybe one more folder apart from the “tick” and the “heart”. I use heart for my evening meal and the tick for meals for the week, dictated by Tesco, but I would like a folder for my dinner party/family get togethers! There is a way round that, to create a new folder in settings but as and when I change my mind it’s too clunky to change recipes therein easily! This is a small suggestion but I would not be without this lovely app! Thank you Guys!.Version: 4.1.4

Great recipe appThis is a fantastic recipe app. You can import recipes from the internet or from another recipe app. You can add your own notes and even add a picture. Also it’s easy to send recipes too friends. Love it. Best app out there for keeping your recipes..Version: 5.2

Perfect Everything Food AppI knew what I wanted but couldn’t find it… until now. I have recipes everywhere! In my email, on the web bookmarked, family hand written scribbling recipes, new books, old books, you name it I’ve got them everywhere. Not only do I have all these recipes but I have pictures, and ideas for my own recipes. On top of that I really want to be able to put these recipes into a weekly menu. This app does all of that and more with beauty and style. I’ve only been playing with it for 30 minutes and I’m hooked. I’ve been thinking about different meal plans offered on different websites but the problem with that is you’re only getting the recipes from that site. this gives me everything I’ve been looking for. I’m off to subscribe for the mobile and PC subscription and I never do that. This is totally worth it, no doubt. Thank you so much for this app..Version: 4.2.8

Excellent recipe app.OrganizEat is fantastic. Recommended by a friend, I have not been disappointed. Syncs across multiple devices including my phone which is great when shopping for ingredients. Have now archived most of my recipes in the app. The ability to save from websites or photos makes this is my easy go to when searching for my next cook up. Thanks for the quality user interface..Version: 4.1.4

Best way to view online recipesThis app does all I wanted and more. All I needed was a place to combine physical paper recipes and online recipes in collections and this does that amazingly with the added functionality of shopping lists. It’s also really well designed and looks great. The best bit… you know when you look at recipes online nowadays and you have to endlessly scroll down through loads of blog waffle, ads and pop-ups to get to the ingredients and instructions. This app removes all that. It gets a while star just for that..Version: 4.1.788

The best recipe storage app ever!No need to look anywhere else for a place to store your recipes! This app is perfect and allows for easy sharing with friends and family. I’m one of those cooks who doesn’t generally work off of a recipe, but around the holidays I find myself wanting that exact flavor my great grandmother concocted and I want that index card from 1922 that literally doesn’t exist anymore… except my mother transferred all of those recipes into this app before the card disintegrated. One text to her and she shares the link through this app, and bam. Kentucky garlic cheese grits are alive from 1922. It sounds silly that I need a recipe for that, but I want it exactly the way it was when I first tasted them in the 1980s. Ease of use and customer service are top notch above and beyond the obvious functionality. Very happy to recommend this app above all others for recipe storage! Also, a one-year subscription is at the perfect price point for a thoughtful holiday gift for a loved one that shares a meal with you from time to time!!.Version: 5.3

Great app easy to useIve been using OrganizEat app for a few years now, and I couldn’t live without it. So easy to use, great that you can create your own categories and search tags. Also love that it syncs across all your devices - so I’ve always got all my recipes with me wherever I go - awesome when in the supermarket shopping for ingredients! I’ve also downloaded onto my husbands phone so that if I’m away he can still cook his favourite meals..Version: 4.0.582

Brilliant!I’ve been looking for an app to keep all my hand written recipes and this is it! A lot of other apps have the ability to save recipes from web sites but not save screen shots and old family recipes. OrganizEat does it all. I tried the free version for the first 20 recipes and was so happy with its ease and functionality that I have taken out a subscription, and it’s worth every cent. I can now throw out old paper recipes and recipe book that I’ve kept for only a hand full of favourite recipes. Can’t recommend it highly enough!!.Version: 4.0.54

Fantastic app - really recommendI’ve been using this app for a couple of years. First the free version and it was so good I bought a lifetime subscription. And now bought the web upgrade as I sometimes search on my desktop. And if you have problems the developers are so quick to help and so friendly..Version: 4.1.802

Super pratiqueJ'aime beaucoup cette application. J'y trouve toutes les recettes que j'aime, je n'ai plus besoin de papier ou de livre de recettes. Tout se retrouve sur ma tablette, y compris les photos. Bravo !.Version: 5.1

Great purchaseI have been relying on this app for a while now. It’s my Go-To for saving favourite recipes along with my own photos. Used often, does all I need it to do..Version: 4.0.582

Wonderful appSo easy to use and visualise. Love to different way you can store recipes and yay for the shopping list.Version: 2.9.8

A clever app to organise my recipes!I’m really glad to have found this app because I find almost all my recipes online and never had an appropriate tool to record them. OrganizEat is great in the sense that you can copy and paste the recipe from a web site so easily. It’s a clever app because it puts everything such as ingredients and the method in the right place within the app all by itself, automatically. I can put photos of the dishes as well. I like the user face which is simple and tasteful (pun intended) Highly recommended!.Version: 4.0.582

I like this appI like this app. I scrolled for ages and this one just caught my eye. I like how you can use different ways to add your recipes- you can’t type, find online, scan them. It’s a good app to store your recipes on instead of saving them online and never using them. I like to copy and paste what I find online - but I think there’s a meal planner and things on here too - haven’t looked just yet as only wanted an app to store healthy recipes. But this is a good app with lots to offer. Thanks, Libby.Version: 4.9.2

Best way to organise and find your recipesI have never been very organised and have men known to sit on the floor surrounded by folders, cookbooks and magazines looking for a particular recipe for hours and hours. Then, to my delight I found this app for OrganizEat. I think I have been a member for 3 years, maybe a little longer. I love ❤️❤️ it. So easy to save, use, share and create recipes. Best site ever for recipe keeping and so easy to customise to my needs. I am 70 in a couple of months and cook for six almost daily so I need all the help I can get. Thankyou OrganizEat for one of the best websites ever designed..Version: 3.3.8

Amazing App!This app allows me to store everything in one place…best part is I can add recipes in any format: picture, link and even my own handwritten recipes..Version: 4.9.101

The BEST app for storing recipes!I have been using this app for quite awhile. My favorite books are cookbooks and this app not only is great to capture online recipes that catch my eye but I have stored all of my grandmother’s recipes that she hand wrote! I was able to take pictures of them all, write additional notes that she had shared with me through the years and started the titles of them “Nana’s….” so I can easily search for all of her recipes. I love the fact that you can tag them with several categories that the recipe pertains to and create your own categories - like specific to holidays! I used the share feature to give my adult sons access too. I loved having them help me make meals while they grew up so they love having access to all of these recipes! I recently had issues sharing to one of my sons’ emails and reached out for support. I was given the white glove treatment ultimately by none other than the developer of the app! I didn’t know that at the time! She was the best and was able to figure out the issue and fixed it! Get this app now!!.Version: 5.8

Exactly what I need to organize and plan menusThis app does what I want to import my own recipes or get ideas from others. It is well worth it. Thanks for developing this app..Version: 5.7

Really useful easy to use appMy sister sent me this app, just as i was trying for the 100th time to organize my bookcase full of recipes, internet downloads, goodfood recipe cards, my mom’s old recipes, etc. The app works great - easy to add recipes, find them and use them. And saves a LOT of paper..Version: 5.6

This App is perfect for meI had been looking for a suitable App or program or data base to gather together all my favourite recipes for many years. None even came close to what I was looking for... until I found OrganizEat. I have now been able gather together all the recipes that I had filed away on scraps of paper, torn out of magazines, bookmarked in web browsers and tagged in recipe books. They are now mostly filed away in OrganizEat. I say mostly, as I am constantly adding to my collection. As well as recipes for meals, I have also gathered all my Jam and Chutney recipes as well as a good collection of Cocktails. 🍸 It is great that I can make notes on the data base to remind myself of how the recipe turned out, whether I substituted any ingredients or suggestions for next time I make a dish. I have been using the App for a few years. It was very good when I started and it continues to improve. Particularly in its ability to import recipes from web sites. It is amazing how easy that is now. I love OrganizEat and can not recommend it too highly. It is well worth the modest subscription..Version: 4.0.582

Fantastic appBrilliant for organising and collating recipes. I’ve finally rid my house of hundreds of scraps of paper with recipes. Also excellent for adding notes to tweak recipes...I’m looking at you Nigella with your inaccurate baking times. I see a lot of negative reviews are with regards to the cost. You’re supposed to pay for things. If you’re not paying with cash, you’re paying with something else. Either your data will be sold or you’ll be constantly limited by in-app purchases. Also, complainers, watch the film Us. Everything you have is at the expense of someone else. Do you want the creators of OrganizEat to have a salary or at least recoup their losses? Then cough up, cheapskates!.Version: 4.0.582

Great appI love this recipe app. One of my favourite aspects is that it doesn’t time out half way through a recipe...it just stays on till you turn it off. Overall I rate it highly 👍.Version: 4.0.582

Perfect for My Needs!I’ve been using this app to file all of my personal recipes as well as the one I find on the web for the last 5 years. I really enjoy the feature to import them compatible with most website. So practical. A must have for cooking lovers out there!.Version: 4.9.101

Loving this app!I discovered this app while planning to downsize from my huge family home to a much smaller place. I used to have one whole bookshelf for cook books. They’re all gone now! Another great advantage is that I can check the ingredients for any recipe while I’m at the market. Also love being able to search for a recipe without pulling several books. The recipes I had on scraps of paper will never be lost again. Love it..Version: 4.1.808

ExcellentLove this ap.Version: 2.5.6

Quick and easy. This app saves so much time by being able to photograph the recipe. Very good..Version: 2.9.8

Best recipe app ever!I have tried so many recipe apps over the years and usually lose interest after a week or so. This app is exactly what I’m looking for and worth every penny! Is it a lot for an app? Maybe, sure, but it’s no different from going into Staples or Office Max 20 years ago and paying $25 for software. Why do I love it? My favorite part is the automatic recipe upload from my favorite food sites, including the main photo. Yes there are times I have a recipe that can’t upload (Disney Food and Wine festival Greek nachos from a random blog) but I can screen shot the blog page and save the recipe or I can type it into the app. But honest to goodness, I love opening the app and seeing all of my recipes by picture. It’s like scrolling through a beautiful, full color recipe book with photos for every recipe (you know how rare yet wonderful that is) with all of my favorite recipes, no duds. I haven’t tried the meal planner yet or the grocery shopping list, but i did click around and it looks pretty neat. You can add all of the ingredients you need for a recipe to your shopping list just with one click. Do it for a few recipes and you find the shopping list is organized by grocery store section (dairy, produce, etc). Again, haven’t used this part of the app aside from playing around, but my plan-everything sister-in-law looked over my shoulder and was in awe. Four thumbs up from us!.Version: 3.2.8

Love it! Time friendly.I looked through/trialed several apps. I have food allergies and a busy, active working lifestyle. This app helps me organise and prepare good, healthy meals for my family. I especially find the shopping list aspect really great. Thank you. Also recently, had a question about syncing devices and got a personal response within 1.5 hrs… that’s pretty impressive!.Version: 4.1.808

Couldn’t be happier! After using another paid recipe app for several years and losing my entire collection of recipes, I went looking for a more reliable, and functional app and this one ticked all the boxes for me. I love that you can take screenshots from websites, snap pics from my favourite recipe books, type in recipes and import recipes from many websites. It really does do it all. And on top of this, it is beautifully presented and just makes me feel happy when doing my meal planning. I love the folder options, ability to tag recipes and ease of searching through saved recipes. I don’t often like paying for apps, but after using the free trial version I quickly realised this was well worth it, so signed up for the lifetime membership. The video demonstrations for the various features are so helpful, and the customer service is excellent. I had a question about how to do something within the app, and the app developer got back to me personally with a detailed explanation of what to do. I really can’t speak more highly of this app and happy to support this small business that is obviously so passionate about what they do!! After following their page on Facebook I also got some further insight into what this app is all about and the people behind it. It’s well and truly my favourite and most used app on my phone and iPad. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the subscription, I say YES! Do it!! I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!.Version: 3.9.998

Love it !!Love the app. Instead of having millions of of magazine recipe pages getting lost I now take a photo and save it here. I love that we can now also download a recipe straight from a web site. So often I find myself at the grocery store with meal ideas and it’s so handy to have the recipes with me and get the ingredients. I could go on with the number of uses. Well done. It’s the best recipe organiser I’ve used..Version: 4.0.582

Great app, couple of suggestions... Updated!I originally put “I wish ingredients was not column based for text entry, since most recipes I have are in text files. So I just paste them into notes.”, but they responded that I could swipe left and do my copy and paste there and it works like a champ!!! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a way to edit existing ones and paste a bunch of ingredients at one time, but it’s easy enough to delete and recreate the right way! When importing from websites, it doesn’t use the tab columns either. So why have them. I’d rather it be one big field I can paste into, and it could use a logic of return character to separate the individual line items, after the fact. Same with directions. Each return character equals one line. Update: This is more a nit then an problem. Having an empty picture and tags field showing 1st is not very nice looking. If they’re empty they shouldn’t show, at least at the beginning. If I want to add them, I can go into edit. Another nit, but I can live with it. When sharing, it actually makes a PDF file, which is great!!! I like how you can move ingredients in different order. Overall, great app, but could use help in text input and not showing blank fields. Update: this is a great app and after receiving a response to my original feedback, I now know how to do the manual entry, so I’ve updated my rating to a 5 star. Could be more intuitive, but all in all, the best recipe app I could find!! Thanks!!.Version: 3.9.986

After years still the best money spent on an appI researched other recipe apps, then started with the free version. I found that it was not complicated, and started by adding my chili recipe, then Alton Browns guac. recipe, that was all I had, but it was easy so I added a few old family recipes so I could tell when my wife was adding “FLAIR”. Almost like it was a game I quickly filled the free version, importing from the web is easy , I realized the true organizational usefulness of this app. I actually bought the full version. My wife laughed at me, I’m cheap I never buy apps, this is the absolutely most expensive app I have ever purchased. BUT I looked at the hundreds of dollars in cookbooks my wife has, and just try finding that same internet recipe online again......... THEN IT HAPPENED: My wife was walking around angry, she had over time put together a binder of recipe copies for the lake house, but recipe she planned on making for our guests as not there. I pulled out my phone, opened he app and showed her the recipe she needed .... she is a convert..Version: 4.0.50

Easy peasy!I take online cooking classes and the recipes come by email in word doc format. I have purchased two apps, neither of which allowed me to copy and paste these recipes. I needed something easy that would allow me to organize these recipes in one place and categorize them for easy retrieval. I saw a review for OrganizEat and really liked the way you could just snap a pic and file it without having to type it all in. So I downloaded the trial app and I was sold. I’ll be purchasing the app today! Not only can I organize my class recipes but I can save family hand written recipes in their original form! Grandma’s pickle recipe is the best but starting to fade and this app allows me to save it in her handwriting! I am so pleased and thankful for this wonderful app! It is going to save me countless hours of manually transcribing recipes! The developer of this app thought of everything. From what I have read, the follow up customer service is outstanding. Worth every penny!.Version: 4.1.78

Best recipe appClear. Organised. Love the tags for recipes. Easy to use..Version: 4.9.6

FinallyI was so happy to pass this appThank you so much for making it easier for me to keep all my favourite recipes from friends and on the web organized I usually can never find them again now they are all in one place. Thank you.Version: 4.9.101

Best recipe organiser app!!!Super easy to use. Love the tagging of key styles/ingredients for quickly finding again. So exited to be able to finally catalogue all my recipes. App developer responds and assists in anyway possible with app....super accessible and genuine. Highly recommend this app!!!.Version: 3.3.6

My Favourite AppIf you're always screen-shotting recipes or cutting them from magazines and you have recipes everywhere then this is the app for you. It's well worth paying the extra to get a subscription to store and organise hundreds of recipes and never lose them again. I've tried a few different recipe apps and found this one has everything I need. Love being able to quickly look up a recipe on my phone when buying groceries. Great and immediate help via email too. Fantastic app!!.Version: 2.9.8

Wish l had this app years ago!It is a true time save for folks like me who have a lot of great recipes from many sources and LOVE to cook a wide variety of cuisines. I love the versatility of being able to take a photo (preserving the original especially the hand written ones from family and loved ones) or download from internet. Downloading is especially easy because it gives you instant access to the top recipe sites and immediate import! Take photos of your creations and add them to the recipe profile. Tag for cross referencing or identifying the source. I use tags like “kid favorite”. “Potluck” “health conscious”. Gluten free” or even specific ingredients. I rarely write reviews, but this time around I am doing it. You can easily share your recipes with friends too. Try this app - you have nothing to lose and you will be SO glad you did. I have spent so many wasted hours picking through my recipe collections hunting for recipes. I’ve tried binders with tabs, computer files and with limited satisfaction. This app takes cooking into the 21st century. So grateful to have found it….actually my 10 year old found it for me. I guess all those countless hours on the devices has some benefits..Version: 4.2.8

Very usefulI’ve been using this app for a few years now and have found it really useful. It’s very easy to store all your favourite recipes. When you download one from the internet which you particularly like it organises and makes it very readable. A long time ago I copied many of my favourite recipes which my mum used to bake too when I was a child. It now saves me flicking through old recipe books. It’s a small annual price but well worth it.Version: 4.1.4

Love this app.Have been using the app for years now. It’s brilliant, I don’t know what I would do without it!!.Version: 4.9.4

The BEST APP EVER!!I absolutely love this app! The organization of my recipes makes it so easy to find them. The best feature is the importing of recipes from the internet. I’ve noticed that more and more online sites are linked to organizEat which makes downloading a breeze. I can also take pictures of my old time recipes that I have on paper so everything is at my finger tips. It is worth the unlimited buy. Once I maxed out on the free version, I think it allows 20 recipes, I immediately made the one time purchase of the app. I’m so glad it is a one time purchase and not a subscription. It may seem pricey but it is so worth every penny!! Thank you for creating this app! It has been a Godsend to my prep and cooking. It helps to have my whole recipe box with me where ever I go so that I can pull it up in the grocery store and make the purchases I need for the evening dinner! Don’t hesitate to buy... you’ll be happy you did, like me!!.Version: 4.0.582

Fantastic & EasySuch a great way to organise your own recipes as well as off the web..Version: 4.1.4

Love it!My recipes have never been so organized. Incredibly handy, even when you are away from home your recipes are with you..Version: 5.1

Great app with lots more potentialI love this app and it will change the way i plan meals and cook them. It is going to save me a lot of time trying to find recipes online i have used before and encourage me to prepare American recipes now that i can permanently include the metric equivalent quantities. It would be great if you could specify the number of servings and if you could subsequently multiply the quantities to reflect the desired number of servings. Hopefully that will be next!.Version: 3.2.8

Easy to use and notes are automatically formatted for easy readingMy daughter downloaded the aps for me to help me with organizing my recipes. I am happy with how easy it is to store and track my recipes..Version: 5.6

Really easy to useJust started using the app, really easy to navigate. Having been using a BIG book to glue recipes in for years, but it’s getting unmanageable, so starting looking for an app. Going to enjoy using this, especially the search function. Will save me having to page through my book to find recipes..Version: 4.8

Simple, quick and easy to useLove how engaging the icons are, quick and simple easy to use. You’re not overloaded by loads of content like other apps. I wanted an app to save my recipe list down so I have ideas for lunch/ dinner when I go to do the shopping. I didn’t necessarily want to add the entire recipe I just wanted to add names of the meals as I always forget the options for the week so I could have a quick look at my list! Love this app!.Version: 4.4

Everything in one place- amazing!I never write reviews but I really love this app. I have been using it weekly for meal planning, grocery shopping and of course organizing all of my recipes. It is so easy and intuitive to use. I have about 80 cookbooks and binders full of printed recipes as well as recipe cards- finding what I wanted was a project! Now, I am inputting all of my favorite recipes. It is so easy to photograph them to upload. Now they are with me everywhere I go and I can easily send a recipe to friends and family. This app is truly worth it and I have never said that before..Version: 4.9.101

Life would be more difficult without OrganizEatsI have been using this app for a few quite a few years now. It was recommended to me by a friend and I am forever grateful. It is essential that I have my recipes with me when I grocery shop as sometimes I get inspired about a dinner while shopping but can’t remember all the ingredients. I also find it super handy to have my recipes on my phone as in the summer we are often at our summer cabin or camping. It is always nice to have at least that part of my life simplified. But one of the most fun parts of the app is the ability to share a recipe with friends as you are discussing the recipe with them. They love getting the information so quickly and are then inspired to make it!! Another great feature of the app is the ability to download recipes from other websites or from an instagram post so easily! I have many times and will continue to highly recommend this app..Version: 4.9.101

Excellent!I usually use and adapt recipes that I find online. In the past it was really annoying trying to organise them. This app really makes the whole process so much faster, easier and more efficient. I like that for most sites, I can just click a download using this app and it automatically just pick out the recipe from within a blog post and lays it out in a very beautiful and easy to read format. With sites that don’t support this app, you can still bookmark it and have the bookmarks collected in one easy location within the app. Love it!.Version: 4.9.7

Organized at lastI love this app! I used to waste a fair amount of time trying to locate a recipe- which book, which app, which print out? I used the free version for ages until it suddenly made sense to purchase the full version, which allows me to store all of my recipes and also set my weekly menu plan. I have recommended this app to friends and family, as I have found it a real time saver. Thank you.Version: 4.0.582

Best app for saving recipesI am forever seeing recipes in newspaper , magazines and end up with a bundle of recipes that I have never really managed to organise and consequently don't get around to using. This app has changed that. I take a photo and then add to the appropriate folder on the app. I am now able to save and organise my favourite recipes and add to my recipes where ever I am. So basically this app is great and is organising me and now I am using a wider range of recipes.Version: 3.0

Easy to useSeems well organised, fast and easy to use. Recommend..Version: 4.1.788

Organizeat - So Helpful!I have used this app for a couple of years and found it so user friendly. It’s so easy to save online recipes automatically, plus any hard copies of recipes then being able to make all of my notes around it means this it makes cooking meals so much more efficient. I rely on this app at least 4 times a week!.Version: 4.1.78

Awesome appThis app is my recipe cupboard. I love it!.Version: 4.1.802

Super easy to add your own recipes and check out new ones! This app makes it really easy to sort and organise my recipes. I love that you can photograph your hand written recipes and add them and it’s really easy to save recipes from the web too. Creating an online database of your recipes can feel overwhelming but it’s really user friendly ( I am a bit of an internet / app novice ) I’m not being bugged by pop ups and it’s really clearly laid out. Would recommend to anyone wanting to bring order to their recipe collection!.Version: 4.2.8

Works!I am delighted..Version: 5.6

Hoping for...I really love this app. I am so glad I bought it when it wasn’t $25 or I’d be missing out on this awesomeness!! My only (well I have 3) hope/s would be that you guys made a computer version that I could upload recipes to from the computer. I hate browsing on my computer to find lots of things I want to save but can’t unless I text the site to myself and then go to my phone or iPad. I want to just be able to log in and add to from my computer. I also hope you guys are working on adding more places that you will accept recipes from but love that I can add them if it doesn’t automatically upload. I’d love the feature “copy me that” has that I can automatically upload from the actual site. The 3 times I’ve tried it tells me it’s not supported ...leading me to one final request. Recipes are starting to become longer now when they add a “how to change it to cook it in the ....(instant pot, crockpot..)” making the recipe longer than a 3 photo shot option. I need the chance to screenshot the whole recipe and sometimes 3 just isn’t enough. I’d like to see up to 10 if possible. Thanks!!.Version: 3.2.8

Great for storing recipes you find onlineI find this app great as a place to keep recipes that I find and like online. I take a screenshot (break it down to more than one if it is a large recipe) and then upload the photo to the app. I have also scanned in some old hand written recipes that were handed down by my mum and grandma. I love the fact that you can create your own categories (I have done “Christmas“ & “Chocolate“) and I use a photo of the finished food as a cover. I have been using the free version for while before deciding to pay for the full version. I only wish I had upgraded before the price went up 😂.Version: 3.3.6

Amazing app!I was looking for a simple to use app where I could store & organize all of the recipes I have tried & love from Pinterest. I am amazed with this app! Not only can you organize & make albums as you’d like, but you can also add pictures which I love. As if that wasn’t enough, you can click on the recipe you’d like to make & have all the ingredients added to a shopping cart so that you know exactly what you need to buy! No more typing out ingredients for a shopping list. You can also add recipes to your calendar, so the app also acts as a meal planner!! I’m currently using the free version, but the full version is only $12 for an entire year (if using just for your mobile phone) that’s only $1 per month. I highly recommend this app if you are like me who loves to bake & cook & has one too many recipes to print or write out. Saving recipes on Pinterest is nice, but having to scroll through to finally get the recipe is an inconvenience when trying to cook quickly. This app saves you that time! Very happy I came across this app :).Version: 4.1.802

Finally a place for all my recipes !!!I love this app. So easy to use and not glitchy like some others. Finally I can store all my families favourite recipes and easily reference them when putting together my shopping list for the week. I’ve been trying to do this myself for years using photos of recipes and it has not been easy at all. Very easy to search too, unlike other apps. Great app, highly recommend !.Version: 4.0.582

Absolutely love this appI have rarely paid for any apps but decided to buy a full version of OrganizEat and I am very happy with it. Saving recipes just by taking photos and screenshots is super quick and easy. I also like the sync between different devices as well. More than often I saved new recipes from my phone which can later be viewed on my ipad when I actually started cooking them. Saving recipes into this app is way better than keeping millions of screenshots in my Photo Library because I can tag and then search for recipes when I feel fancy cooking something. I highly recommend it..Version: 4.0.582

Amazing App for anyone loving new recipes at your fingertipsWe love this app. My husband downloaded it and put all our recipes on it. We had printed out copies and had stacks in the caninets, ones we took from magazines and off websites, old handwritten family favorites from years ago!! Now the are saved and organized at right at our fingertips!!! We use it every time we cook and add to it monthly after trying new recipes. We can share with friends we can import directly to from websites. So easy. I can't say enough good things about Organize Eats! If you love to cook and try different recipes and want to save them in an organized way this is your app! It is right at our fingertips! No more searching screen shots. Saved photos texted recipes or emailed. .and so on. Oh did I mention grocery shopping!! Always have my recipes with me and can access my grocery list easily!!! You will be so happy you tried it when you see how it saves you time! Kim and Frank Williams.Version: 4.2.8

Perfect across multiple devicesI use this app across iPhone, iPad and my mac notebook. The synchronisation is great. It is a logical way to organise your recipes and you can even make your own categories. I.e. I have started a Christmas category with all the families traditional Christmas food and treats. It is also easy to save recipes that you find online and want to try out. Have recommended this app and will continue to recommend. Support is good and your questions are answered..Version: 5.4

A best recipe app everThis app is the best. I have been reorganizing and moving recipes from my many old recipe notebooks into this fantastic app. It is so easy to use and allows you to edit everything, to move recipes into folders and add photos of each recipe as well. Importing new recipes from different recipe sites is so easy and there are so many sites to choose from. This app will not disappoint.Version: 4.1.4

Very Nifty!I’ve tried several recipe apps and realized that I didn’t really understand exactly what I needed. A few apps had links to recipes but only half actually worked. Tried pantry inventory apps to build meals from what I had on hand. That cost me more time to manage than doing the meal prep and cooking. Then I found this app. Admittedly, I was less than optimistic that it would be anything more than a bunch of ads and/or a disappointing user interface with lots of bugginess. I was truly surprised at how easy it is to use. Not just the ergonomics, but how it actually saves me a tremendous amount of time by staying organized (without investing late night hours) and lets me plan better. Sharing across multiple devices was a snap. Downloaded the app on my phone, logged in, and the devices auto-synched immediately. Love the shopping list and how easy it is to use! I made an error and added a recipe to the wrong folder. Couldn’t figure out how to move it. Within 1 min looking thru the help tutorial, found the answer! That really helps! It’s not a fancy app nor does it need to be. I’m grateful the developer chose to focus on the basics and make those work very well. Now I can free up some digital space by deleting a bunch of other recipe apps that just don’t provide value!.Version: 4.2.8

Best app for recipesI have been using different apps for my recipes and I always found it difficult to sort and organize my recipes. I finally found OrganizEt and it is top! Very easy to use and organize by theme. I created my folders by type. When I find something interesting ont website, I can upload the recipes. I put notes when I make changes to the recipes. You can put your preferred one so it is easy to access. I would not come back to paper recipes or other type of organizer. This is just the right one! I had an issue with my renewal and the support team answered my email within 24 hours. And everything was fine..Version: 5.1

La meilleure des applications recettesApplication dont on ne plus plus se passer après utilisation. Facile à utiliser, pratique, on s’y retrouve facilement..Version: 5.6

So easy to useI’ve tried out many apps over the past few years and this one is by far the simplest and quickest to use. I’ve got rid of hundreds of random recipes on bits of paper just by taking some quick photos. I’d had some of these for years and now they are all in my phone in a handy searchable format I can look up while I’m walking around the supermarket. What makes it even better is the fabulous customer service from a company that really cares about what it’s users want. Can’t recommend them enough!.Version: 4.1.782

Good appJust what I was looking for 👍.Version: 5.6

Answer to lots of needs!Like most people who are, ahem, an interesting age, I had recipes everywhere. And using the internet to find even more is not only fun, but useful when I go in a new direction. But where to keep them all...and along came this app! I can categorize and edit but here are the best things: I can re-title to help me remember something special or to group things like bread machine recipes at a glance; I can reduce recipes to 1/2 or even 1/4; and best of all, I can write notes to myself about the results so that I don’t try something again or I can make it better next time. I’ve added several of my mother’s favorites (without the buttered finger stains or with—take your pick!), and I don’t need to dump the whole box to find that one elusive card. Only one wish: I wish I’d had this many years ago...my collection would be awesome! Thanks for such a great app!.Version: 4.8

Love this app!Downloaded this app on a whim to try and help me and my partner plan our weekly meals, and it’s been and absolutely godsend! Ok it may take some time to input all the recipes you typically make (if you have a lot like me!), but you only have to do it once and it’s easy to do! Plus you can import new recipes from a wide range of blogs/websites if you want to try something new! I love that you can select the meals you plan for the week and add the ingredients to a shopping list! It’s made our weekly food shops so much more efficient! I’ve been using it every week for almost a year now! So worth it!.Version: 4.0.582

LOVE LOVE LOVE this appI’ve been using this for over a year now & love it. I have added hundreds of recipes, have personalised it to my liking & use it every single week when I do my menu plan. There are so many different ways to add recipes & it is so easy to add them to your weekly menu as well as create a grocery list. I love the simple-ness of the app. I often find that some apps have so many options that I get overwhelmed & never end up using them. I have never had any problems with the app or renewing my subscription..Version: 4.0.584

Super OrganisedIt’s great to have somewhere to store all those recipes that pop up. Easy and functional. Would be grand if the free version offered more recipe storage..Version: 4.1.78

Fantastic appI have been looking for an app to keep all my recipes from the web. I am so glad I found this app! The best part of it is that the app can extract recipe straight from 99% of the websites. And you get to use photos from the web or your own personal photo. The app is easy to use, and can sync across my laptop and phone. The great things just keep going and going. Do yourself a favor, and give it a go! I am extremely happy with it, most importantly, it is completely free!!.Version: 4.2.2

The Absolute BestI have been enjoying this app for several years. It is by far, the most user-friendly intuitive app I have ever worked with. I am a senior and I’ve had no problem using this app. If you are like I was, you have 100 scraps of paper with recipes or magazine pages torn out folded up and stuck in a box. So hard to find exactly that recipe you want when you want it. Snapping a picture of each only took a few minutes. And now I have a fabulously organized recipe file! And I’ve added many recipes from my favorite websites and many friends. I find an image online of the recipe I am capturing to use as the Cover. My file looks awesome and so organized! So easy now when I am away from my home, visiting my grandchildren or my elderly mother, to share the recipe with them or to make a delicious meal for them. You can make your meal plans for the week and generate a shopping list. With a click of the ✔️ icon you have added the recipe to your weekly plan. Saves so much time! I could not be more delighted that I found OrganizEats App and I will be a member for many years to come. I absolutely ❤️ this app!.Version: 4.1.76

Better than paper! Not since Edna’s Cookbook back in MS-DOS has it been so easy to manage recipies with the added benefit of not having to print them off! Put the iPad on the counter and start cooking!.Version: 5.7

The only app I pay for and is worth every penny!I found OrganizEat about 2 years ago and possibly don’t use it to its full potential but I love it. I have gone through all my books and loaded all of the recipes I actually use so don’t need all the books filling my cupboards. I have photographed and loaded my mums hand written recipes and have searched and uploaded recipes from the web. When out shopping and deciding what to cook I can look at OrganizEat on my phone and see what ingredients I need. My daughter has started using it too and she loves it as much as I do..Version: 4.1.4

Great recipe organiser.Just what I was after. So easy to input a new recipe. great search function to find the recipe your after but also just as easy to scroll through if you just want to browse your recipes like a recipe book. Such a great way to store all your favourite recipes- i no longer have all these extra tabs open in my browser of recipes, bits of paper on my bench that I’ve scrawled on, and got rid of my recipe books that I would just use one or two recipes from out of the whole book. I’m not a big app user but so glad I paid for this one!.Version: 4.2.8

Great AppLove it, all my recipes in one spot, I can load them automatically from a website, or take photos of my handwritten recipes. I now have my recipes with me no matter where I am. I can organise them how I want and look at them on multiple devices. I have been using it for several years and no longer have to wonder where that recipe is that I used to make!!.Version: 4.2.8

Great for organisingI find this app great for organising all my favourite recipes. I have many recipe books and often find that I cannot remember which recipe is in which. Uploading in this app saves me from having to look through the index of all of my books. I also have many bookmarked website recipes. It is much easier to have them here on this app. All in the same place. OrganizEat app is great..Version: 4.1.802

Great AppI use this app regularly to store all the recipes I might one day want to cook (of course most don’t actually get cooked but this app certainly saves on paper and storage). Some sites don’t upload into OrganizEat but you can get around that by taking a screenshot and uploading the recipe in question. Especially like the grocery list compilation function..Version: 4.1.4

A life saver!I have been using the app for some time now, mostly to write out what meals ill be making daily for dinner and the groceries I will need. One feature I dont use often (though I should) yet still very appreciate is the recipe keeper. You can link a recipe or type up your own, then categorize the meal and meal type in neat little folders where you can always come back to it. For someone as unorganized and forgetful as me, this app helps to keep me less stressed about what should be my favorite part of the day, dinner, after a long day of work. Maybe you’re not a fan of writing your recipes down in a book? thats cool, type it up real quick instead. maybe you don’t wanna type it again? okay, copy and paste it. Still too much work? Link your fave e-recipe, so you can close all those tabs open in your browser with all your recent recipe discoveries. It’s just so simple to have a collection of your favorite recipes ready at your fingertips!.Version: 4.1.784

Really handy app!!I have always worried that the recipes that I have found online are going to be lost and forgotten and in the past I have struggled to find ones that I have previously cooked and loved, so having this app has allowed me to keep track of the favourites. It has been really easy to add new recipes from the web and I look forward to browsing through some of the recipe sites on the app too. Thank you :).Version: 4.1.782

We’ve found it - the recipe and shopping list organiser we have been looking for!At last! After initial bug fixing issues that had us doubting, we sent one email and they assured us they were fixing the problem right away .... and they did. Now we have our weekly menus organised complete with recipes, ingredients and shopping list. We are saving time, money and food waste which has reduced enormously..Version: 4.0.50

Such a good app!So organised and makes me feel really happy opening the app as everything is so structured. Love how we can make it personalised to each and every one of us also. One thing I would adapt and add is maybe a section on each recipe page talking about prep time, difficulty level etc.. just as it would add on even more info to each page..Version: 4.2.8

Very good appsUtility, easy to use and after sale service AAA rating.Version: 5.8

Fantastic AppI’ve been using OrganizEat for over a year now & it’s made life in the kitchen so much easier. Don’t know how I ever did without it! I can import recipes from a huge range of publications, take photos or write my own. If ever I’m stuck for what to cook, I just fire up the app & browse the categories. So much more convenient than books and bits of paper!.Version: 4.0.582

Love this appMe and my husband having been using this for a few years and we love it! We had so many food magazines cluttering the house, and ran out of room for books! With this app we went though and photographed our favourites and recipes we wanted to save. The same on online, and searching for them in app is brilliant:) all our recipes safe and together, plus we have synced our accounts so I can see his save recipes too. Thank you.Version: 3.9.9982

Does everything perfectlyI am very, very happy with this app. I was anxious about the time, money and functionality of moving from paper recipe books to an app. However it has been Worth the money and time. My kids are soon to leave home, and I plan to gift them the app so I can share all our family recipes. Easy! Also, I like being able to easily share recipes with friends who don’t have the app yet, but loved something I made. The PDF the app shares looks really professional. Very happy customer..Version: 3.9.986

Beyond AmazingI’ve been using this app for all of 5 minutes and I am so very pleased. It’s organized, it’s easy to use, I have everything at my finger tips. Not only is it super easy to import recipes from a website, with a simple click of a button that recipe goes into a grocery list. I suffer from ADHD and this just pleases my brain and my need for things to be organized but also lack of motivation. Wow where has this been all my life..Version: 5.3

Never leave home without your recipe book!I love Organizeats for many reasons, but primarily for its portability. I have the app on both my phone and iPad, so no matter where I go I have my recipes with me. We have a lakehouse 3 hours away from our home, and frequently the recipe I needed was in the other location. Duplicating 50 years of recipes was not practical. Now I just open the app on my phone. The recipes were so easy to enter. I just took a picture of the recipe and copied it to the Organizeats app Even when I travel to visit my son in N.C. or my daughter in the U.K. I have all my recipes with me. Also when I spot an enticing recipe in a magazine, I just snap a picture and enter it in the app. So easy! I am over 70 and certainly not tech savvy, but this app is incredibly easy to use. You can even store the same recipe under different headings. You can create your own headings or use provided ones. I love having all my standard Christmas recipes together as well as ones for Thanksgiving and Easter. After hearing me rave about this app, my daughter got it and she loves it too especially when traveling & staying in an Airbnb. I could go on and on , but I think you get the picture. I love Organizeats and wouldn’t change a thing!.Version: 4.1.4

Replace piles of cookbooksThis so handy. Instead of spending hours looking for a recipe in one of 30 or more cook books on my shelf. Usually there is one or two recipes l really like. Writing down is a pain. When l get a request from family or friends, I can send it to them by email from this app. I love it, would recommend this app to anyone who wants to store your favourite recipes that you use over and over. Now I don’t have to spend hours looking for recipes that I need, no more pieces of paper with recipes. Also when I had accidentally deleted a recipe I contact the support and they were able to retrieve my recipe. They are very helpful. When l visit a relative and we are making a meal or baking this is so much easier to have then looking through cook books..Version: 5.7

Best recipe app everI’ve used several but nothing beats this one, hands down. Find a recipe you like? Paste the link into this app and it downloads it for you! Have old family recipes you want to save? Type them into this app, including a photo if you like, and it’s saved for ever. So many different categories you can save things under for easy organisation. Great shopping list and meal planner functions. The screen never goes off while you’re cooking, so you don’t need to try to open it constantly when you turn your back to do something. And many more features. I just LOVE this app..Version: 4.1.802

Great App!This is the first app I have ever bought but worth every penny. User friendly, simple and yet very powerful. I am taking my recipes from 5 sources into one now...love it! Rachel responds to your email within 1 day, how's that for customer service. They have added some new features over the years which is amazing. I take this app on my iPad all over the world when traveling and can cook any of my favourite recipes anytime. Keep up the good work Rachel & team..Version: 5.1

Love this appEasy to use & such a great tool to keep me organised! I recommend!.Version: 2.9.2

Awesome Organizer!!I really enjoy the functionality of OrganizeEats. I think it’s very simple to use. I love that you can add your own recipe and then once it’s saved it’s automatically formatted so you can easily read the recipe. I can also send my recipes to friends and family and it uploads perfectly. It’s really cool that you can upload any recipe from a website onto the app and it all comes formatted. I can easily set up weekly meal plans and from there choose what ingredients I need to add to a shopping list. So that makes it easy for me when I’m grocery shopping. I can literally go on and on about how awesome this app is. They thought of me and everything through. Another cool feature is it can randomly select recipes for your weekly meal plan. I really appreciate that they allowed me to use the app and save 20 recipes before making my decision without saving my credit card information. It’s definitely worth getting the full version. Thanks.Version: 4.0.582

Best recipe App!This app is fabulous. I am so pleased to have a place to store all my recipes. It's so easy to save, copy or take photos to make recipes on this app. This has contributed to our family eating a greater variety of healthy foods. Thank you!.Version: 5.4

Versatile, easy to useMy wife asked for ‘some kind of app’ to organize her recipes as a Christmas gift. After being lost in the techno babble of several competing apps, I used this free version of Organizeat to explore its functionality and found it to be incredibly intuitive and flexible. From simply photographing an existing recipe (and type in a title), to typing the recipe in its entirety, this app functions effortlessly. Additionally, several methods make downloading recipes from websites a breeze. I’ve loaded recipes using each tool and it’s a breeze! Automatic shopping lists, name your own folders, various simple sorts, everything short and simple. This free version limits the number of recipes and photos but is an excellent means to learn the app’s capabilities. I’ve ordered the expanded version for my wife using the gift feature on the app store. Automatic delivery on Christmas day! This too, by the way, with the help of the developer’s very responsive customer service folks. Give it a try, you’ll love it!!.Version: 2.8.9

Very practical appI found this app very practical in term of organising the recipes and indexing them. Also it allows you to choose the source of your recipes; you can add your recipe in you own words and photos or you can add the link from where you got the recipe, hence you can access it directly without putting any efforts in rewriting it. Appreciate the creator effort and so much thought put into this. Thanks and regards.Version: 4.9.8

The best recipe organiserI love apps that literally make my life easier. I’ve been looking to have all my favourite recipes together, as it is a hassle for me to search what to cook everyday of the week. With this app I have all my recipes filed and I can organise my weekly menu in two minutes. When you find a recipe that you want to cook, you just save it in the app. Then you press the image with the basic ingredient of your meals, choose the meal and it directly transfers you to the website that has the recipe you will choose. Fantastic and easy, thank you!.Version: 4.0.50

How have a lived without this app before?Honestly, I very rarely write reviews, but OrganizEat has changed my recipe keeping experience and want to tell the world. I used to have lots of notes and pages and now everything is in just one place. Not only that, I love looking for recipes and being able to import them into the app. I use the weekly planned and sometimes the shopping list. I can just say, it is money well spent. Thank you to Rachel and the team to have made my life easier with this app!.Version: 4.1.788

The best app by far!So worth the extra $$, I love having all my recipes to hand, being able to easily share them etc! If only more websites were easily inputted into it, rather than having to take photos would be brilliant but still absolutely love this app!!.Version: 5.0

Used for years!I get most of my recipes by searching online and I can’t be bothered to write them out or print them and store in a recipe binder, so I wanted to find an app that would allow me to screenshot whole recipes, including images, and this one does the job perfectly! It saves me keeping too many tabs open in safari and I always know to look here for my go-to recipes. Would definitely recommend 😌 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 4.0.582

Everyone needs this app!!!!I’ve been using OrganizEat for about 5 years both personally & professionally & I love it! I work as a House Manager which includes me having to cook for a family of 5, 5 nights a week. All of the families favourite meals and my favs too...are kept on the app. When I’m doing my weekly meal planning it’s so easy, no looking through cookbooks trying to find that recipe!!! My favourite thing....is if you change your mind about what you feel like eating when you’re shopping, it’s so easy to check for ingredients...I use this more then any other app...you’ve just got to try it!!! Mel Melbourne Australia..Version: 4.0.582

You personal recipe book in an App!I love this App. I am a chef and I travel a lot! I used to travel with all my recipes which became heavy after several years of filling up, until I came across this App which I now use instead of travelling with all my recipe books. It’s also great for importing recipes from a website automatically. I have been using this App for at least a year and I love it!.Version: 4.0.582

Amazing app I found so farSo I’ve been struggling for years trying to get my meal plans figured out. And I’m a emotional eater so I’ll lidget eat an entire buffet. I had learned that if I plan I tend to do a better job eating. But that was an issue. I can’t write it down on paper or anything else because it’ll just get lost or erased. And the apps I had found over the years didn’t offer all I’ve been looking for it was either just recipes and ordering food through them but it was way too expensive for someone that only makes close to minimum wage. Then there’s that plans meals but you can’t store recipes and yet again too expensive. Not only this app allows you to store recipes you can also plan ahead. You can also organize your recipes which is really going to help me out with because I’m borderline diabetic and already facing permanent problems. They haven’t diagnosed me but they continuously testing me for type 2 but keeps coming back negative but my body is still suffering from it. This app will make it far easier to control my food intake. I do wish that it had an option for push notifications reminding me about the meal plan for the day. Unless I missed it..Version: 4.1.782

Brilliant appMy mum and I are always sharing recipes, I’m always looking up and finding new ones online. I used to have links saved all over the place, photos my mum sent me in different albums... this app has been brilliant to get all my hundreds of recipes in one place! It’s so easy to personalise so I o can choose what different folders I have, and the fact is also automatically downloads recipes from some of my most used websites is an added bonus!.Version: 4.0.582

Best app too organize all you recipesExcept few minors issues, this is exactly the app I’m looking for to manage my recipe and avoid to forget my creations 😄.Version: 5.1

HandyVery handy app. I can be at the supermarket and decide to cook one of my recepies, and I have a list of everything I need on hand. So I can get home and prepare it knowing that I have ALL of the ingredients that I need. It also means I don't have all these loose recepies that I have torn out of magazines just cluttering up my pantry Brilliant! It just needs a share with other users function so I can share and receive recepies from friends.Version: 2.7.6

Great AppLove this App. Love that I have somewhere to put recipes I come across. I will never lose a recipe again. Everyone should have this App. 😊.Version: 5.6

Best ever recipe appI use this app all the time and love how it works! The administrators are always looking to improve & develop this app through improved technology and through listening to the end users. 😍.Version: 4.4

A whole lot to say but first word is amazingTo start with my family kind of collects cookbooks mostly unintentionally. And while some cook books have like two or three recipes that are food and the rest are meh. This would then turn into a oh let’s copy this onto paper and put in a binder that’s an absolute mess or let’s take a picture and save it in someone’s phone only to forget who’s phone and for it to accidentally be deleted. This solves all of that mess and we are not scrambling to find the recipes it easy to find in the app. Then there’s the save function from websites that has to be one of the best features. How many time do find a recipe to try from a website, make it, like it then close the page and forget it? I do it too often to count and this keeps that from happening. Overall if I could give this 10 stars I would..Version: 5.1

My favorite app - well worth the moneyLove this app - so easy to use, and easy to upload recipes from the internet or from photos of recipes. Easy and really clear organization - superior over any other app or web-based recipe system I have tried. I also like that there is a place to enter in my own notes re what worked in the recipe and what changes I added. Also, if I have something in my fridge that I want to use up, I can do a quick word search for that ingredient and the app will pull up every recipe I have that uses that ingredient. Also love how my smart phone mirrors the app on my tablet so that when I’m in the grocery store, I can easily pull up a recipe to find the ingredient list without using WiFi (which always seemed to bug out on me in grocery stores when I tried to pull up recipes from web-based content). Also incredibly easy to share recipes with others, including my notes for the recipe, whether they have the app or not. Really love this app!.Version: 4.0.584

A great appIt as simple and easy to add sort and find all your recipes. One feature I’d love to see added is spellcheck. But that says more about me than the app..Version: 4.0.582

NickiI just couldn’t live without this app. I have it on my phone so when shopping I can just have a quick look at my ingredients or if organised I can add to my shopping list. Also the people who developed this get back to you really quickly if you have a problem or don’t understand something. I’m in my late 60’s live in the UK and have had this app for at least 5/6 years. I love it and would recommend it to everyone. Such good value for money. I have also now just purchased the lifetime membership and have got friends and family who also have this app and can share recipes with them so easily. Try it you will love it..Version: 4.1.808

Absolutely perfect for in the kitchen. So far I have been loving it. It has meal planner, grocery lists, and the recipes binder! I’m in love with the recipe binder! I’ve been contemplating on buying a recipe binder to fill. But honestly the digital one here is pretty much where it’s at. Every recipe is digital now so it would be silly to print just to put in a binder. I’d get it if we still used recipes that are in newspapers and on food boxes (although I use those too but not often.) I’m happy there’s a planner and list there too. I haven’t messed with that portion yet. But On the negative side I almost deleted it because of the price flash after first opening the app after downloading it. There is a free version luckily. Im unsure what the difference is. I’m sure I can only save x amount until I have to pay for it. Which if the app serves me greatly, I probably will purchase it. I’m happy there’s a free version. I don’t like purchasing apps without even trying it. I’m sure many of you don’t either. I’m hoping to see this app grow. Maybe I’m due time as the app grows we would be able to connect Pinterest and allrecipes somehow (like sign in or something) . And also have a in app friend circle that we can look at each other’s recipe books, that would be fun and cool!.Version: 4.1.802

If you like to cook and collect recipes get this appWhen you are serious about cooking, you collect plenty of recipes from many sources. OrganizEat is a well thought-out tool that let us get our recipes organized and it gets used everyday at our house. We had hundreds of printed recipes that we scanned and uploaded into the program over a few hours. This is sort of a brute force approach, but we had computer print outs, hand written notes, index cards and random scraps of paper that we are now able to find quickly. There are better ways to get recipes into OrganizEat that we also use, you can import recipes directly from many sites like Serious Eats, Bon Appétit, New Your Times and others. Other sites that are not directly supported by the app can be used by snapping pictures within the app. Of course you can also type your recipes and add photos too. The developers are working to add other ways to import and additional features to the app, I had contacted them with a question and they were very responsive and open to future improvements. This is not the cheapest app out there, but you get what you are paying for..Version: 3.3.4

New review update to: Chefs beware...I'd like to update my old review to a new and more positive one. Since I posted my last review, the powers that be at Organizeats were able to fix the issue of me not having "unlimited recipes ", and everything is working well, as it should be. They responded promptly to my problem via email and I am happy to be able to continue using the app.I downloaded the app with hopes this would be a simple way to store recipes. But, it only allows you to have up to five recipes, with the option of paying more (a lot more than you'd expect for a cookbook app), which I did. They offered it as a "one-time" charge, and you get unlimited recipes. However, it wasn't a one time charge, and in fact, the "unlimited" only lasted for three months. Now, I can no longer add recipes without paying another high priced fee for a cookbook app that's only fair at best to begin with. I'm now searching for a better cookbook app. Don't waste your time with this one, it's not worth it..Version: 2.7.6

Excellent app!OrganizEat allows me to have my favourite recipes at my fingertips whenever I need them, whether it be whilst we’re travelling with our caravan, in the supermarket buying items for dinner or if I’m just having a baking day at home. It is easy to use and I can add or adapt categories to suit myself. The best part though is that this app is updated regularly, based on what its users request, so it just keeps on getting better. If you want to rid yourself of excess cookbooks in your home and only keep the recipes you use the most, then get this app and make the change - you will be delighted!.Version: 4.0.582

My new favourite app!!I have been looking for an app like Organizeat for years. I love keeping cut outs from food magazines and recipes that I pick up in shops but was never able to find an app that would allow you to photograph these without having to type them in- which meant that I've never cooked most of these recipes. This is all about to change thanks to this app and the best thing is that it's so easy to use..Version: 2.7.6

Excellent recipe appUpdate: I LOVE this app and have now upgraded to 5 stars because I can now save recipes to multiple categories! I’ve been using this app for the better part of a year and am pretty happy with it. I like the versatility of entering recipes - by taking a photo of an old recipe card, or by linking to a food/recipe site, or by typing in. Also like that I can personalize it with food photos, can add notes, and that there is a setting to keep my iPad from going black while I keep the recipe up on my counter for as long as I need. I love that it syncs with my iPhone, so I can check my recipes while shopping, and can share recipes quickly with friends. My only complaint is that recipes can’t be put in more than one category. I realize that you can add multiple tags to help search for a recipe, but would like to be able, for example, to put my curry chicken recipe in both my chicken and slow cooker categories..Version: 3.1.2

ExcellentI absolutely love this app. I now have all my recipes in one place, easy to find and navigate and always in my pocket! I used to have random screenshots in my Camera roll, links saved in multiple places but now because I can easily import the recipes automatically or else just upload a photo they are now beautifully organised. My ridiculous sized recipe collection is now my pride and joy..Version: 5.1

Great AppBeen using this App for a few years now. So easy to use and so great to have all my recipes in one place!!.Version: 4.0.582

Helpul app - Sensible way of storing / accessing recipesNice to be able to store a mix of recipes from different places - e.g. when you have them in different books and from people, scraps of paper! Saves space and has allowed me to declutter recipe books where I was really only using one thing. Also like the fact the screen stays on - saves me getting a Google hub! Decent useful app!.Version: 4.2.2

OrganizEatI love this app it’s brilliant for downloading, copying, writing and taking pics of all the recipes that I have accumulated over many many years, and for finding new recipes. The app makes everything very simple and is very user friendly and while I have a long way to go before I’ve put everything in that I love to cook, I only lack time, not the inclination, and I find the app fun to use which is a bonus. It’s a gold star as far as I’m concerned. ⭐️.Version: 4.4

Great to useUpdated 2023- A few years on and the App is still the only non sport app I pay for, still brilliant for all my recipe needs and has progressed to keep up with all our demands. Keep up the amazing work please! I don’t pay for apps as a rule, this is only the third one I’ve paid for ... and both the others are for sport (F1 and Rugby!!) but definitely worth every penny. So easy to upload the recipes from websites and to type in my own recipes it’s making collecting my favourites so easy. It’s also great that now my partner is retired and cooking most of the evening meals I’ve been able to share with him so he knows exactly what’s on the menu each day and the recipe if he needs one. Such a versatile app and one I’ve already shared with friends. Thanks and keep developing please..Version: 4.9.4

Great and Easy to UseIf you’re not a genius at figuring out how apps work, this is a good one for you. You don’t need your kids to explain it. It’s easy, user friendly, well organized, and smart. It’s simple to download recipes you find on the internet without re-typing, and you can easily save them in pre-selected categories or you can create your own. The days of collecting recipes in those index card boxes, or notebooks are gone. It’s so easy to use and I like that you can attach your own photos of meals you’ve prepared or you can download photos attached to the recipe so you can easily recall what the dish looks like, and if you’ve forgotten the name of a recipe you can find it from the picture you took. And if you can’t figure out how to use it, you can always ask your kids! It’s worth it because using this app has helped me with grocery lists and the brain numbing task of figuring out what to make for dinner. I use this app a lot and highly recommend it!.Version: 4.0.582

So far so good!I haven’t paid for the full version of this app yet but I’m trying it out to see if it will work for me. So far, it’s working really well and I’ve even been able to organize all those annoying screenshots I’ve taken of random recipes on the web! I’m looking forward to having a way to share my fave recipes with others easily also. I love meal planning but I struggle every week with having a good system. I like that I can schedule out my recipes right here in the app. There’s also a section where you can see recipes that other app users have imported, and get more inspiration for your own meals! I work for a tech company and see that there are a number of reviews saying the app didn’t update properly - to those folks I would say, hang in there! Tech is glitchy, no matter how amazing your team is. The developer of this app seems invested in making things right, so have patience and hopefully all the glitches will be sorted out!.Version: 4.1.4

Kitchen AidWe’ve been using this App for the last couple of years so this review is slightly late, but wanted to add my support because it’s brilliant and we wouldn’t be without it. Mainly we use it to store our favourite recipes so that we don’t lose/forget great meals and also so we can easily refer to our menu history when we’re struggling to plan weekly meals. It’s so easy to use and well designed and we share between multiple devices. Extra bits include menu recommendations and this has helped shake up our cooking plans occasionally. We’re both foodies who love cooking so this app is brilliant for us and easily worth 5 stars..Version: 4.0.582

Excellent recipe meal planner apEasy to use and value for money - plan meals for the week or month - enter or download new recipes, auto grocery list, group and customise categories..Version: 4.8

Easy organization, finally!I don't buy apps but OrganizEat is worth double or more. I was constantly searching for "that one recipe" in a giant 3-ring binder and now I just grab my phone or pad and easily search for my favorite food recipes. The app stays open even if your device is set to go to sleep. I love this feature because my phone is set to sleep pretty quickly. I'm never frustrated the way I was while prepping or cooking while following a recipe in the browser, and then finding the phone asleep. Sure, I can extend sleeping time in Settings, but now I don't have to. Adding recipes from different sources is great. Thank goodness I don't have to transcribe my entire collection. The app allows me to take foodie photos and add them to my recipes. Pretty cool. I haven't had any problems using this app and I really appreciate how easy it is to use..Version: 4.2.8

Of all recipe apps, I love this app bestI tried the free version which limits the number of recipes - and already liked it. Bought the full version, and the app keeps getting better and better!.Version: 3.9.986

Excellent AppI was recommended this app by a friend and great cook as I wanted to store my late mothers recipe’s on something … I’m so impressed with the ease of use and navigation of this app… no small feat as I’m challenged when it comes to technology 😆 it provides everything I was looking for amd more … well done 👍.Version: 4.1.782

Next level app design. Period. This is 100% the only meal app you need. I promise you I am not paid for this review, it seriously has just made me be able to step up to plate and make all the meals for daughter and pregnant wife. Find a recipe you like online? Boom you have it as quickly as clicking the share button. Pull it up in the app along with other meals and you are making that week and you have an organized grocery list by aisle and quantity. Even if you are at a loss for what you want for dinner, click on the inspirations tab and now you see what everyone else is making. This app truly is a one stop shop for meals and meal prepping; saved on a cloud server that you can always get to from any device. Even if that’s not your thing, you can export via pdf. Seriously the amount of time and consideration put into this app is on another level. Well done development team!.Version: 5.6

Organize eatsSo easy to use. Love this app.Version: 5.6

Everyone Needs This!I have always wanted to own a recipe filing system that I can turn to for my favourite recipes. This app is simply brilliant! Not only does it allow me to organise and store my favourite recipes digitally for easy access from anywhere, but it also provides access to a storehouse of recipes to choose from. I love that I can just plop an image of a recipe in or create one from scratch and tag according to category for easy reference. I have shared this little app with my family. Everyone should have this in their life..Version: 4.1.76

Love itThe flexibility of this app allows me to save pics and links of my favourite recipes. I just love it.Version: 5.4

Best Recipe Organizing App Ever!I love this app! It does everything I want and more. I originally found this app because I was frustrated with other apps out there for organizing my recipes and was on the verge of creating my own app to meet all my needs like meal planning, saving recipes off the internet, uploading my own recipes, adding pictures, search features, etc. That’s when I discovered OrganizEat and am so happy I did! Used it for a day or two, saw the value of it, purchased it outright and never looked back. Just tonight my husband asked me about a family recipe he needs for dinner and it’s right at my fingertips. I especially love the import feature for recipes I find on the web. No more one time use recipes that I find once and never find again. Family member texts me a recipe? No problem! I add it in and never have to ask for it a second time or dig through old texts to find it. I am building up quite a collection of my favorites and new recipes I’d like to try. Get this app! You won’t regret it! 😄.Version: 4.0.582

Get rid of recipe books!I had shelves and shelves of recipe books with just one or two in each that I actually made. What a waste of space! This app is a brilliant resource and so easy to use. Also, if you have it on a phone too, you can use it whilst out shopping. You can also search by ingredient if you want to use up leftovers. Wouldn’t be without it!.Version: 4.1.802

Easy to Use & Can Empty My Pictures!I was constantly taking screen shots of recipes to make later. Now I can add them into the app quickly & access from my phone or iPad!.Version: 5.4

Sync between iphone & ipad useful with subscriptionHad original app & it stopped working but the subscription seems to work better. I mostly take photos of favourite handwritten recipes or ones I’ve found in newspaper or magazines or occasionally online that I enjoy. Great that on ipad for cooking at home & on iphone for if I go travelling. Would be nice if easier to share with friends as not all have app..Version: 4.9.4

Love!Getting rid of all my paper recipes was a big decision. I did quite a bit of analyzing of my wants and needs and reviewing of the available products on the market. OrganizEat came out as the clear winner and I haven’t looked back! I love that you can import recipes from the web, take pictures, share with other users, keep recipes in more than one category, create tags for additional organization (examples: I have a “Thanksgiving” tag for the go-to dishes my family loves; I also a “Mom” tag so I can keep track of which recipes came from my Mom), easily reference a particular recipe on my phone while at the grocery store, access from multiple devices, and keep track of items I plan to prepare “this week.” The developers are constantly tweaking and improving the app based on customer feedback, which I also love. Honestly, I love pretty much everything about this app. I look forward to the day it’s easier to organize and view my tags, but in the meantime, I am grateful EVERY SINGLE DAY for life-changing recipe keeper..Version: 4.1.788

Works like magic !I downloaded mayber half a dozen apps to store often used recipes before coming across this one. It works seamlessly with my favourite site Cookie & Kate as well as importing recipes from other well known sites. I’ve no idea how it does it but that’s Ok as I don’t need to know ! Suffice to say it just works every time. I’ll certainly be moving to the paid version when the time comes with out hesitation.Version: 5.2

RecipesHighly recommend this app. Your one stop shop for storing recipes. Really pleased I discovered it..Version: 4.2.8

Brilliant recipe appThis app is everything I’d been looking for the developer must have read my mind ! The best thing is that the recipe app overrides the sleep function on your iPad so when you’re following the recipe it doesn’t shut off (as it does when you google a recipe) which means you aren’t tapping with floured, greasy or meaty hands. My recipes are organised by type & I can finally replace all those torn out magazine pages. I used the free one first which was excellent and have now upgraded to full version to add more recipes as I love it so much..Version: 4.1.4

Best purchase everI’ve been using this app for a few years now and I just love it. I have the premium version and it allows me to access all my recipes everywhere I go..Version: 4.9.101

Incredible!!Remember those printed women’s day recipe cards that your Mum used to have? And that you’d use every now and then to make Anzac biscuits? Well this is like a super enhanced digital version of that! It’s awesome. You can save all your favourite recipes on here without needing to type them out (mostly). So say you find a great recipe and instead of trying to save the link in your email or leave a browser open on your phone, or trying to find it again, you can simple copy the link and save the recipe in the app! You’ll have all your favourite recipes in one place which is 100 times easier when you’re working out your weekly food menu. The categories are great and you can even make your own categories if they don’t suit. The only slightly annoying this is when you can directly import the recipe from the website, but the app does give you the option of doing screen shots or typing so there is a work around. Overall it’s an incredible app and I’m really finding it very useful!.Version: 3.3.6

What a handy app!I’m loving this app. I’ve spent the afternoon adding all my favourite recipes. So good to have them all in one place. I’m looking forward to going to the supermarket and having everything I need on my phone. 😁.Version: 4.8

Easy to useI started using this app at the recommendation of a friend because I have hard copy recipes from a variety of sources in various folders taking up space in the cupboard. I am new to the app but have been pleased with how easy it is to use and how logical it all is. Can’t wait to get to the point where I have everything here in the one place!.Version: 4.8

Great app - use it every day!Love this app. If you do a lot of cooking from scratch and need to keep track of your recipes it’s fantastic. I like the ability to “favorite” a recipe. I always start my weekly meal planning with my favorites..Version: 5.0
