✓ Abstract video for iMPC creationsMy first project. It took a bit of work, about a week, to understand how it worked. I’m a beginner. I watched all the tutorials. I mucked around. I learnt how to use Dropbox. I have just spent a day or so, on my first project. Making an abstract video of drawings I had done in my iPad and editing it to music I had made using the iMPC, iProphet and Cubasis. I love it. Be prepared to learn how to use it, but I love it. ✓ A long way to go.I won’t talk for that long. My main issues are that Videoleap offers better visual editing capabilities for free, as you can use screen recording to exploit the tryout feature in VL and bypass the VIP subscription payment to export, and also that it compresses my WAV files automatically, making them unable to be used as samples in music making apps such as Auxy. I would love to see more competant visuals, and the option to disable compression, especially of audio files such as WAVs. Otherwise, the app is great. I was especially pleased with the audio editing capabilities, which are unsurmised on mobile and hold no power back from the user. Cheers..Version: 2.6

There's a "leave colour behind" tool I want that makes everything else black and white except for one colour you choose. Otherwise this app has helped me make colourful, sharp, and visible videos. ✓ Sensible and completeI like having total manual control of the picture parameters so I was quite deleted to see the preset filters loaded the parameters onto the picture controls. One thing bigs me about the support. On the forums I have answers to a couple of questions that I'd like to share but my logon was unsuccessful. The machine gave me the advice to contact the administrator but I can't do that on account I'm not logged on. And I can't even register now on account the machine thinks that name and email is taken And I can't log on because the machine says that account is not active... ✓ Does what most video apps don'tI was surprised to discover that efficiently editing video colour, sharpness, etc isn't something many apps cater for. Even iMovie and other video creation tools are more suited to compiling videos together than they are actually editing them. This app fills that gap perfectly. The UI isn't going to win awards but it's straightforward to understand, and the granular controls over things like sharpening and vignettes and super useful. I would like to see some more colour grading power, for example getting split toning in there (see Lightroom Mobile for this done on photos) would allow for that highly popular Instagram look where shadows are tinted a different colour to highlights. Being able to control shadows and highlights would be awesome too. I have had crashes when saving out 4K-Extreme videos sometimes. My phone is clearly working hard as it gets hot and even the iOS Photos app slows the phone down when dealing with 4K. It's a 6S Plus though so it should probably not crash in an ideal world..Version: 1.0.6

✓ Incredibly Powerful Video FX For iOSThis is a really really impressive update to what was already a capable video fx app on iOS - now we can key-frame our effects in this tiny little app. I've been waiting for this sort of capability within the Pinnacle family of video editing apps on mobile for a while, and it's fair to say it doesn't disappoint; I had to try it out, and was able to animate a Gaussian blur filter with ease - this works very well on my iPhone 6 and so I'd expect at least similar performance on any newer devices too. ✓ Wow!I wanted a app to do a simple video mirror effect. Lots of them Im sure. On my search I noticed the Luma Touch dev, who Ive heard have the best video editor on ios. So I went with this. Well, Im very impressed with how easy it is to use LumaFX, in twenty minutes Id grasped the ideas and added rotations, zooms, blurs and the mirror effect I was looking for. I love that you can layer effects and the ease at which each can have their properties changed over the timeline is excellent. This is very intuitive and makes me think seriously in its big bro app, Luma Fusion. Impressed!.Version: 2.3.1
✓ So much funI’ve only had this app a few days, but it’s been really fun editing and adding to my videos. This app is easy to use, but with so many options within this app, there’s a lot of possibilities. This is easily the best video editing app I have for editing on the fly. I think one of the things that could be added would be vintage video grain. Maybe I’ve missed it so far, but I’ve edited my videos through this app, then saved and imported my saved videos to 8mm video app to get the vintage video grainy effect when I need it. ✓ Five star App...please deal with the cache of video filesI will leave the original review below. Understand, this is a five star app with really poor file handling. Is this all on Apple, or more insidious bad judgement by a developer bent on getting some weird sort of new cloud service initiated. Either way, it feels invasive... I have been using it since the day I was alerted to it, and along with Videograde, Flixel, this can turn any of your footage (including imported DSLR work) into beautiful, dramatic works of art. The "Gloom" and Colour processing the very best video FX I have used on my iPad. The rendering is really fast, the previews rendered in REAL real time, and what you see is exactly what you get. Today I really needed to rotate a video and adjust the brightness which you can't do with Studio Pro or any other video editing app I've come across. I came across this app (apparently by the team which initially developed Studio Pro) which does absolutely everything I wanted in a really simple way. And it's only £2.99. ✓ Problem solverLumafx is one tool i use to explore abstract moving images. when issues arise with other special effects processing applications, i can usually fix them within lumafx. my wish is more precision/finer control, more processing modules, more control, more power ( please apple ), and the ability to control all aspects of lumafx with audio ( audio amplitude envelope followers with filtering options ). this wish is no reflection on the power of lumafx, it’s a wish i’ve also had for many desktop video processing applications. lumafx is a brilliant bit of software..Version: 3.1.0
