Defiantly emotions, I about cried when I saw Fox die, I was so relieved to see he was okay! The only small thing that bugs me, which isn't so bad, more or less funny, but- when you switch to Fox, the spirit, K would sometimes be.. really stupid. Awesome graphics and music that really help the game come to life. ✓ Beautiful game, wonderful adventure!I was a little weary when I read some a review saying the controls were a bit wonky as from watching gameplay, I knew you had to switch between characters and certain controls that give each character their own abilities. Still, I couldn’t pass on this beautiful story and upon downloading it I found that the controls were easy to navigate and I had absolutely no issues. I just finished the game, and it was just as good, if not better than expected. Also, the cultural insights into the Inupiat people is such an interesting and beautiful feature. You play as an Iñupiat girl and her Arctic Fox companion as they journey to find the source of a blizzard that has precluded her village from hunting caribou, which they need to survive. Throughout, you score “cultural insights,” 1-2-minute pieces of documentary footage that deepen your cultural understanding of the Iñupiat, their traditions and stories, and their relationship with their environment. You have to find the hidden owls to gain them, so you end up working hard to learn about them. I missed three of them by the time I was done, and I went back and replayed the levels to find them all. It’s gorgeously done, front to back; it’s challenging; it’s so smart. And I CRIED AT ONE POINT BECAUSE I WAS SO MOVED My only criticism is that sometimes the controls don’t work as expected, even when I changed the level of joystick sensitivity, so there were moments of frustration when I had to replay some scenes several times because I couldn’t get the fox to clamber up a wall properly..Version: 1.03

My idea is that at the start you get to chose how your character looks and what your name is, and also be able to choose your animal and it's name. Then depending on where your and originated from then that's where the story would be set. Like if you chose a giraffe it would be in Africa and you would be able to ride it and climb up its neck to get places. Depending on where the story is set then it would have different problems that need to be solved, like why there were so many blizzards in Never Alone: Ki Edition. The stories could also include videos about different cultures depending on where the story is set. Each animal could also have different abilities. This is just and idea but if this game came out I would definitely buy it. It would be amazing because once you finish one story you could play another. I understand that this game would take a lot of coding and time to make, but i think it would reach the top of the top charts because to me it sounds absolutely amazing! ✓ Good game.It's a good rather than amazing platform game with some interesting interplay between the 2 characters you control, the controls could be improved but you soon get used to them. It's a visual and audio feast of a game with a lovely atmosphere and art style to it, hidden objects within the levels offer you short video clips that give you insights into Alaskan culture and the story is based on a folk tale of these people. I enjoyed it and would recommend it, it ran well on an iPad mini 2 but I sense anything with less grunt than that might struggle if that helps..Version: 1.03

Other players have reported the controls not going in the direction they want. But they have to remember one jerky move with your finger will cause that problem, so keep a eye on your own fingers while in direction mode. This platformer reminds me of a mix of Limbo (can be sad and dark with constant deaths, and the gameplay), with Out of this World (realistic physics and movement) and also Ghost Trick a little.
