✓ Game ChangerEver since COVID happened, the amount of clients that I can see in a day is reduced and it is more important than ever that I avoid missed appointments/no shows due to clients forgetting their scheduled appointment times. This is where Appointfix has been a game changer. The instant notification when appointments are scheduled and the 24hr reminders have been just the answer to remind clients of scheduled appointments and gives me time to book cancellations with the 24hr notice. Since I started using the app, I haven’t had the problem of “no shows”. And the customer service is exceptional. I reached out via email about a problem I was experiencing with messaging and heard back from Danielle in customer care in 12hrs. The time I was given for correction of the problem was accurate and I was kept in the loop throughout the process. ✓ Dear developers can you please fix ASAP!So... so far, I been loving this app! For my little two business I have! However the only this that I am missing wish it would SO HELPFUL IS..... to check my client in or marked them as no show, or re-schedule them tracking! It’s very frustrating when I have clients that cancel or reschedule at the last minute and I am waiting for them and I miss a walk it client or had to turn them away. Then I don’t remember all the clients who’s been canceling or no showing up after a reminder was send to them. And at one point you just don’t want to keep this clients after 3 + of no shows or last min cancelations! But sometimes it’s hard to keep it up! ✓ RubbishI’ve been using this system now for about a year without any real problems. For the past few weeks I’ve been noticing customers turning up that I’m not expecting. Today had 3 turn up for the same appointment 😡 When it first started happening I put it down to my own error. However I have today looked back at all my confirmation texts that I send out at point of booking and they’ve all been given appointments and received texts. For some reason they have then disappeared leaving available slots. I run a very tight schedule as it is so this has caused me major issues. My advice would be not to bother. I’m going back to paper. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. Had to give 1 star when actually it doesn’t deserve any..Version: 6.12.0
✓ Get your customers to book in their time - not yours!Loving the app! So handy being able to allow my customers to book their next appointment in their own time - on line when they want. I’ve limited the booking to 3 months out. They can’t book a lesson less than 36 hours away and they also can’t cancel it within 36 hours! They book, I check it suits and then I confirm it. I can send them a text confirmation of the booking and a reminder text 2 days before - There are other features that I don’t use - but that’s because I like to have control. ✓ Great booking app!I absolutely love this app more than any other scheduling your booking up. I’ve come across everything about it is perfect. The only thing that I would really really love to see updated or configured is with the online booking I wish we could input pictures of our portfolio. I especially love the way the clients works as you can just choose clients from your contacts and then you can put down the service they want but then adjust the price (the only app I could find to do this) this works so well if clients ask for extras or for friends and family members as I give them a reduced rate. A must have for a busy small business.I tried enrolling in a couple of Goldies competitors (before finding Goldie) for automated text reminders for my clients to help free up some of my “off” time each week. I was promptly rejected from one because I didn’t have an opt in option and the other I never received an email so I could even set up my account! What a racket. Goldie out performed them regardless! It offers so many additional features those other apps didn’t. Best part they send the opt in text for you!! Didn’t have to lift a finger. It easily integrated my extensive Apple calendar with no hiccups and importing client contacts was a breeze. I was able to select only clients instead of my entire contact list. - Thank you! I have been using it for a couple weeks now getting the hang of the process and working out the kinks (tech learning curve and plenty of user error but that’s on me lol). I am beyond impressed with this app. It’s very customizable and user friendly. Excellent product! Update after 7 months of use. I still adore this app. The developers are integrating new features I have asked for! Now I can get income statistics day to day week to week ect which is so nice to have when budgeting. ✓ Does exactly what I need.I like this app and am so close to purchasing the upgrade only because of the multiple messaging options. With the free version you can only send 1 message (instant confirm, reminder, after care) while the upgraded version allows all 3 to be sent. I just wish it would sync better with my Apple calendar. It does sync, but it’s not shared with family because it is placed under the Appointfix category instead of the shared family…if that even makes sense!! I also wish I could better color customize entries. The only color customization is the different appointment types. Other than that… do love the simplicity and ease of the app. I don’t allow my clients to book online so I cannot review that part. Oh…and I wish somehow I could customize the notes for the client. I have the membership that gives me everything all I have to do is send the reminders which I chose that option instead of the higher membership because I like to proof it before it goes out. ✓ Perfect for Showing Real EstateShowed our entire portfolio all last year with very few cancellations. Super easy to use features REALLY helped me stay on track. My office was also easily able put appointments on my phone app while I was driving or on a showing! I love all the new color shades for services that just came out! The color codes helped me to set up my day most efficiently when dealing with extremely tight time constraints. It also works with my Google and Outlook Calendars so that I can sync appointments from various sources. The auto text reminders are AMAZING! (I highly recommend the Ultimate version because you can really customize your automatic texts.) With this feature, my appointments knew I was there for them; while at the same time, preventing no shows! In addition, I was able to keep detailed notes on each person’s preferences while scheduling the appointment with them over the phone. This app kept me on point nearly 100% of the time! Also, I did not always write my personal appointments and would sometimes over lap my clients appointments with personal. ✓ Good but not great.I’ve started using this app for my massage therapy business. For the most part it works perfect, The ability for clients to book their own appointments online is great and I can block out some time incase I run over the allotted time plus for cleaning and wiping down. The only down side I’ve come across is the appointment reminder and follow up automated text, very few people use text messaging these days, more people use what’s app or other messaging platforms so the ability to choose a platform for sending the repeat messages would be a great little add on. ✓ Easy to use with great features.GET THIS APP IF YOU WANT EASY BOOKING AND TEXT REMINDERS TO YOUR CLIENTS. I tried out Appointfix after I had downloaded several different appointment reminder apps which were very disappointing, most are designed around hair dressers and beauty shops and not very user friendly for customising. Appointfix has an unlimited amount of fully customisable services and unlimited text reminders per month with the the free version. You do have to manually send the text reminder in free version but the app prompts you to send the text. So far I have no issues to mention and I like the app a lot. I plan to try the paid version in the new year once business picks up more as this allows automatic text reminders as well as sending reminders a week before then the day or 2 before, also follow up messages. There is also a function I believe to allow for marketing to you clients. There has been a few nice welcoming emails and also asking if there is any help needed while setting it up, a nice personal feel. ✓ Would love to be able to charge cards on here!I’m a barber and I love the app I find it very helpful with reducing no shows because of the automatic texts through ultimate version. One thing I don’t like is that we cannot directly charge cards through the app which means when we do have no shows we can’t charge a percentage like you can on other apps like thecutapp or booksy. ✓ Military Time?Honestly, I love this app! Extremely user-friendly, both for me and my clientele. My only issue is that when clients get confirmation messages, their appointment times appear in military time. I have corresponded with a representative from Appointfix several times, but he was unable to solve it. He initially thought it was the main settings on my phone, but it was not. ✓ Great app! Self employed beauty therapistThis app has almost given me everything I want !! It’s perfect great that it syncs across devices and can edit times of appointments and put in my own personal events , text reminders are great and also the reoccurring appointments for regular clients. Only thing I wish this had was the ability to edit a one off day working hours , so say next Friday I was starting later , be able to just edit that one day to put my hours in for that particular day but it not change my usual hours every week. ✓ Useful Calendar IntegrationThe Appointfix app is worth the cost. I have been using the app for a while now and have reviewed it previously (I don't review unless it's worth it let alone review one app twice!). I contacted customer support regarding calendar integration they gave me some very simple steps to follow. Now all my clients have to do is tap on the message I send them and it appears in their calendar. Ultimate is worth the money, it's a set and forget subscription. I also really am pleased with the fact that customer support is extremely responsive, some other apps are rubbish at getting back to you. The responsiveness is added value in my opinion. It’s a little confusing at first but I’ve been using it to schedule my bi-weekly clients that I clean for and I’m LOVING IT! The only thing I wish it had is that it was a little easier to navigate the actual calendar. I wish I could zoom out and zoom in easier if that makes sense. I also wish the texts to send to clients allowed for more space in one single message rather than breaking it up into several messages. ✓ Can’t recommend this App enoughI have only been using this app for a weeks now but already can’t believe how I managed without it. Syncs with my iPhone calendar seamlessly so avoids double booking appointments when other events are in my calendar. The App is extremely easy to use even for someone like me with limited IT skills! There’s so many great functions but I just love the instant booking notification texts which make your booking process look professional. It also allows you to send predetermined reminder texts and search client names for forthcoming appointments. Always get compliments from my clients on how easy it is to book an appointment and the reminder messages are easy to use to minimize no shows. Just one thing I’d love for the creators to add to the app is an info tab when creating a service so we can add additional information about the service we are offering to our clients when they want to book. ✓ Good app for schedulingI switched to Goldie from a competing scheduling app. I’ve stayed with this app for the ease of use and ability to understand my schedule at a glance. Having the ability to set specific services up with its own color makes it especially easy to understand how to coordinate my appointments. I have been happy with the updates as they have come available. This latest one is a bit frustrating but still usable. To send a message (as I use the free version) takes 4 clicks before sending, which is unfortunate. The recurring appointment has a definite end so be aware of that when doing standing appointments that you wish to continue indefinitely. I love being able to snap and send a pic of my clients schedule and they appreciate it as well rather than 1 appointment at a time. I LOVE this app and don’t want to switch...but...after installing the latest update, I can no longer view my schedule by looking at the monthly calendar and that’s how I need to view it. I used to be able to read the appointment names, but now it seems that the text has gotten bigger or something and the names aren’t visible unless I am looking at the individual day and that is not easy when it comes to scheduling new appointments. ✓ LoveI’ve been having Goldie for about 3 years now since 2020 when it used to be known as Appointfix, honestly I’ve seen this app grow and get better with each update , especially now since I can take deposits through the app and take payments with the tap to pay and the card reader , the only down side is that with my iPad I can’t take the tap to pay or connect with the card reader but I believe that’s just on my end but one thing that I would like to see improvements in would be being able to put cash deposits for when they prebook for the upcoming month when I book it manually, having card on file is optional and it’ll be 10x better if it was non optional to be able to charge for cancellation fee and being able to have a consents form/ required forms option that the clients need to fill out when booking the appointment but other than that it is an amazing app it has improved so much throughout the years and I hope they do add the 3 things I’ve listed to make the app a 10/10 experience.Version: 15.0.2

Bad support:(What seems to be a great app to keep track of a business, turn into a nightmare for tow months in the same time two updates that did not improve any of the mayor issues wish were view of appointments ridiculously small and when updating deleting some existing appointments from other calendars. I have send a minimum of 3 request for support but no unswear. Always get a replay from a robot but that’s it! ✓ Better than most booking appsI’ve tested many booking apps and this one is the best one that is compatible with the calendar on my iPhone. Happy with it all but I would like to be able to set the address as I have 2 locations where I work from and at the moment I can’t have clients booking appointments for themselves as the addresses aren’t set. If you could somehow let the admin set the address that would be amazing. Also could you please improve the calendar layout. I like to look at the whole month like the iPhone calendar. ✓ New Name New Upgrades!With this new name and upgrades I find that this is still a great app. It’s taking sometime to learn the new changes but I’m sure that won’t be a problem. The one great thing is my old link still works! I was really nervous about this. Some great things are: 1. Reports can break down the services you are selling more of, clients that patronize you from highest to least, and revenue by day week month or year! 2. Can sync all calendars to just this one 3. Marketing available 4. And might I add this new payment option!!!! Clients having to make a deposit to book is great! With the new changes there are a few issues that I am finding. They are: 1. I have to go back to all my previous appointments and collect the payment. This is time consuming and making my reports inaccurate. Because I went back on a specific day the reports show I collected all the revenue on one set date. 2. I am unable to use multiple devices. ✓ Perfect for Dog Groomers!I’m a self- employed dog groomer with ADHD, which makes keeping track of my appointments a nightmare! I needed something that I could always have with me, make new appointments quickly, and have simple and clear visual organization- and Appointfix delivers on all of these! I can easily make new appointments while I’m talking to my client (before I forget about it!) and I love that it saves my clients’ contact info so I don’t have to type it in every time! I also LOVE the visual layout of the calendar- I am not tech savvy at all, but it’s super simple to navigate, shows just enough information on each day to know what’s going on but not overload you, and even has “time off” and “personal event” options that I use all the time, so I don’t have to keep going back and forth to different apps to know my availability. I have only used the free version for a little less than a year now, and it has worked so great for me- I haven’t forgotten a single appointment yet! But I am considering getting Premium or Ultimate to check out some of their other features as my business is growing! ✓ Good app but Pro version nor good for hair stylists!I do some hairstyling outside of work and find the basic works great for me. I like the fact that I can see the appointments on my usual Calendar also (unlike the other reviewer) as it does stop mistakenly booking personal engagements over professional ones. I just use the basic as I only do a couple of days a week so suits me fine. The only issue I have is that I cannot upgrade to the pro because to automatically send out appointment reminders doesn’t work well as if for example you had a colour booked in then the cut and Blo booked back later it would send out 2 booking when u wld only want ur client re receive the first booking as 2 diff reminders wld confuse them. The only way round this would be to block out the whole 3 hours for example but then you couldn’t book a client in between while ur colours developing. ✓ Exactly what I neededThis app is exactly what I needed to keep my client schedule in order! The confirmation reminders are fantastic - let’s face it, I tried doing it on my own and the consistency was not exactly 100%. I do wish I could have the Appointfix calendar automatically update the personal I use with my husband so I don’t have to enter the appointments twice, but it solves more issues than it creates. ✓ Not Happy at All! - UPDATEI have been using this app for a few months now. At first it was great. My husband and I own our own business and are always going in two different directions, so we needed a calendar that synced with any changes that either of us made. ***Note: I had to pay for this option. With an update they made we lost all syncing capabilities. I reached out to them, they never responded. They have since made other updates that have not fixed this issue at all. Then we received a message through the app that our calendar is still saved in the cloud. Excuse me! What good does that do me when our devices still don’t sync! I have tried logging out of both devices and logging back in, I have even deleted the app and reinstalled it hoping that this would resolve the issue. Nope! Even though it will update both devices they still don’t sync when changes are made. I will be looking into other apps as this is a vital part of business for us. Very disappointing. UPDATE: So after about three months of trial and error they finally got to a solution for the syncing issue. The one thing I am still unhappy about is it took a negative review to get these guys on the ball. However once they did they were on top of it until the issue was resolved. The roll out with the Goldie app was smooth and now a year later I am still using the app. And I am happy to report I am very happy with it..Version: 9.2.3
✓ BrilliantWorks exactly as described.. I’d like to see the ability to use different working hours for different devices but a can still be controlled through a master device. I work at different salons on different days and often leave an iPad there for them to book clients in for me, it’s fine because as long as the staff know what days I’m there they can just book where necessary but for better control I’d like to limit what different devices can book, I haven’t found this capability in any software as yet so it would be a first. Also the ability to edit appointments through my google calendar online and have it update in the app.. but absolutely brilliant app, look forward to seeing what future developments bring! ✓ Not online schedulingOops! I missed this, but Appointfix does *not* allow your clients to schedule their own appointments. *You* are doing all of the scheduling yourself. Still, if that’s what you want, the app is well done. I particularly like that — since it has access to all your calendars on your device — it could easily block out times so clients would be able to choose times that you’re available. However, if you accidentally double-book yourself, the app doesn’t warn you. If you’re doing all the scheduling yourself, give the app a try! ✓ Very useful and amazing customer serviceFirstly, the app’s design and functionality is second to none. There isn’t an app or service like it (and I tried before finding Appointfix). The integration with the calendar is very useful - I only wish they would release a way to subscribe to the Callander so I can view it in other places. Secondly, the text message service is great, it has vastly sped up my productivity for my business and allows me to keep in contact with everyone easily. Lastly, the customer service is great, they are only too happy to help and make your experience as positive as possible. This alone will see me be a long term customer... Would I make any improvements, only small ones. If there was the option to send a specific message at different time ie one thanking for making a booking and one as a reminder. ✓ Please Update!Hi I love the app so far but there are a couple things I would like to see in the next update, . Slide scheduling - being able to slide your appointments around to different time/date slots using your finger. . Coloured personal appointments - I’ve noticed that you can’t change the colour of the personal appointments, this would be a lot better if you could. . Reports - For some reason when I check my reports it adds everything together because they have been changed, I have the changes to reflect the correct reports so the app shouldn’t automatically change it or add them all together. ✓ Automated SMS reminders flawApp worked perfect for years, now even though I’m paying for the Ultimate Plan, it’s is now not sending sms reminders as it should and have always done. Problem had been going on for about a month and a half & I’ve tried many things including deleting and reinstalling the app. I need this fixed ASAP, the automated reminders are a crucial factor/selling point of this app. Not having the automated reminder capability really puts this app in the same lane as the other appointment book apps, I meant that in no malicious way but simply giving my standpoint as a business man that uses Appointfix for all 3 of business. Hope to see a change soon. This being the only major problem, let alone problem at all besides random minimal crashing, I’d still give this a 4. ✓ Great for a free appI think there’s a lot of great functionality to this for small business owners. I just wish the automated text messages were actually automated - you get a reminder to manually send the text message, but if you’re like me and leave your iPad at home, you can’t send the message. So it’s not quite “automated”... ✓ Great app with a few nigglesOverall this app is fab - simple, easily customisable for different tasks, and works great with iCal. I’m using the mid level version where the messages are sent, but via your own mobile carrier - I don’t think they offer that price level any more. Areas for improvement: Message sending is pretty glitchy - often I have to press the send message button a few times for it to work, but it usually does in the end. It used to get caught in a death loop on the ‘send messages to clients now’ thing, but that seems to have gone away. If you send a message to a client just before it’s about to remind you to, sometime it tries to get you to send the message twice. If you’re a bit OCD with your messages section, this can cause some anxiety. For example, I’ve just updated the app and now it wants me to re send a bunch of reminders to clients that I’ve already sent. Other niggle is that it updates almost weekly, which can get a bit dull. But overall, buy with confidence. I’ve not tried the top level version, and I’m thinking of taking deposits via it, but a bit worried to change what seems to be working well. ✓ Window CleaningI decided to try this app for my window cleaning round after my initial provider (GeoOp) decided to quadruple their monthly payment plan and with a little tinkering using the services as my paid, needs invoicing or other this app works a dream. ✓ I am enjoying this app very muchIt has been very helpful. I love how it helps you send reminders to the clients. I still have a lot to explore on it. However, so far so good. It would be nice if the location would transfer to the location are we in my calendar. Instead of everything appearing as a huge title. It would also be nice to have the invite option like in calendars, so they get it also en their calendar. Just an idea, that I would love to see..Version: 7.4.2
✓ Happy CustomerI love love this app although I use the free only because I need to be in control the bookings, and I don’t use social media to book if I did for sure I will upgrade!! Appointfix customer service is the best I ran into an issue where I had upgraded my phone and lost all of my booked appointments I emailed Appointfix to let them know of my frustration on Sunday night when they were closed and Monday morning my appointments were restored!
