✓ WeatherThis is a great app but at times it is completely wrong as l live near the ocean in Deception Bay at times your app says fine & it’s raining & even we are having a thunderstorm yet your app says fine , There is 2 sides to Deception Bay the other side away from the ocean can be most days 2 or 3 degrees c hotter then the beach side , & sometimes it can be raining over there yet it’s sunny where I am as a friend lives near Deception Bay Rd , Kind regards Rick..Version: 1.8
✓ Weather app reviewI use this app the night before I go to school to see what I can wear. I use it a lot to check the weather in my location and elsewhere. There is a few problems I want you developers to change. Whenever I look up a place somewhere out of the United States, it pops up and I click it. However, the name on the list is not the name on the screen that tells the air quality, weather for the day and week, and the wind speed and all that. I don’t like it. Change that please. Also the backgrounds are beautiful and match with the weather that hour. When it is clear the background shows stars and well what the night sky would look like. When a thunderstorm is happening the background shows dark clouds and rain and a lightning bolt. It actually moves. Another thing. When I search up a really small neighborhood town it says no results for that town. I want to know what the weather is for that neighborhood. Please add that. The really small towns. ✓ People with bad opinionsI really like this app and find it useful when looking for the weather. but ives seen people on the reviews saying how it says the opposite of what the weather really is. i’ve seen that happed sometimes too like when it says it’s raining but it isn’t. but ives found that looking the Precipitation portion of the app you can see that it shows you exactly where the rain or snow is heading, and that sometimes it’ll say it’s rainy cause that’s only for your area but it might not be raining exactly where you are. as someone who rides horses this app is helpful to see if it’s going to be nice out to ride. also it’s helpful by telling me when the sun is going to set or rise. i like that it shows a whole week of weather. all in all i think this app is helpful and people who say it’s bad might just not know the full extent of the app. the app helps me see the weather, the temp, when the sun sets, a weeks worth of weather, and different places weather too. also it’s free and comes right with an iphone..Version: 1.8

✓ Drizzle where?The app has been so inaccurate lately like perth wa is currently a blazing 36°c today but apparently it’s also drizzling? where? like am i not where the app says i am right now cus as soon as i step outside, the sky is CLOUDLESS let alone DRIZZLING?!? i used to trust the app 100% but now i can barely count on the information avaialable because of how misleading it is this is not the first time it’s shown “drizzle” on a 30°c+ day is the app going through some issues right now or sumn?.Version: 1.9
✓ Accurate….. what more do you want🙂 . . Why I love Apple Weather. I like to store the weather for my home town, my sister’s city, my friends abroad, wherever a sporting tournament is on etc. etc. Apple weather allows this others don’t. Oh NO Apple IOS updates are at it again. The latest 16.4.1 and 16.5 have changed the colour of the sun 🌞 display from yellow to a peely wally white. ✓ Bureau of Meteorology & Dark Sky integration pleaseI love the new app. Great UX only two complaints. 1. Please for Gods sake in Australia retrieve your data from the BOM not The Weather Channel. ✓ Grateful weather watcherHard to believe we have such amazing technology. I like the way it can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. I remember back in the early 60’s in innisfail a farmer mentioned it was 48 degrees Fahrenheit which was one of the coldest winters on record. ✓ Pretty good, but…I’d really like it if I there was a way to add a location that a friend lives at. Say “Andrew home”, and then it appears as “Andrew @ Home (Clydesdale)”. Or if I could load my own details (say, work, home, etc), and it would just say something like “Work @ City” Maybe being able to edit the city name would achieve this, or a separate tab, or something. Because let’s face it, when I look up the weather in a specific place, there’s a reason why I care about the weather in that place.Version: 1.8

✓ Weather APPThis app is the most accurate one going in my opinion. Friends and family of mine use different ones because they don’t have an I phone. I love this one because it sometimes changes by the hour and I can map my day out simply by relying on the up to date weather map on my phone. Wouldn’t be without it!! I like the precipitation map on it to. You can see the satellite data by the hour/ 24 hr. So you can see in real time when it’s going to pour down or have slight drizzle not only in my town but all the other towns/cities/countries that I have personalised. My family is spread right out across England so I can see what their weather is like compared to my own!! Love it, love it, love it.Version: 1.8
✓ AccuracyAll looks good, lots of explanations although sometimes very superficial eg ‘average based on a short period of time’ - what does ‘short’ mean - few days, weeks. Months, years? The definition of short is important to give words a proper relevance to whether it’s hotter or colder than ….. the average of the last few days???? The graphics are good too. The weather prediction is not good. Wherever that info comes from is a very bad source. The average (checking that app over many years) accuracy is only 50%. ✓ AMAZINGOh my goodness what an amazing job the developers have done. All the data I could ever want and then even more. For ages I persisted with another app that was pretty good but now it pales into insignificance. I now know, for example, it will stop raining in 20 minutes. I was planning to go for a walk at 8pm and your app tells me that it will be patchy cloud and the possibility of light showers between 6-8pm. I have recommended your fantastic app to a couple of my iPhone friends who have also been very enthusiastic. It is absolutely brilliant 🌹.Version: 1.8
✓ Honest review from a Dark Sky fanQuickly: My qualifications. 1. Weather nerd. 2. Extreme weather cinematographer Dark Sky was my go to. Full disclosure I'd check the NOAA radar app immediately after for more raw data like echo tops and velocity, then Weatherbug after that for a glance at national radar and satellite images of cloud cover, BUT... Dark Sky was my go to, every day, and now it's gone. THAT SAID I'm thankful that I can still see the ghost of Dark Sky in Weather, but I'm more thankful that the hyper local forecast notifications still seem to be coming and be timely and correct. The gui on Weather actually looks like a pretty full featured weather station with more information than 99.9% of people want. Attractively laid out and easy to read, methinks Weather might be getting some hateful and possibly unfair ratings since taking on our beloved Dark Sky. Sadly weather is no joke, and I hate to see it this app get trashed when it seems like a tool very capable of helping you avoid dangerous situations like driving into a thunderstorm or being ignorant of fog or freezing temps..Version: 1.8

✓ Seems they are listening to the critical feedback.Like many reviewers I had the paid version of the excellent Dark Sky weather app. My initial impression of this app was 2/5 at best. It seems this is catching up fast now with the useful features such as rainfall in the next hour. I find I'm only using this app and multiple times a day as I did with Dark Sky. Usually when going out or planning to go out. It tends to give me the right choice in terms of umbrella (or not) and number of layers to wear. As of 03 Jan 2023 and based on very recent updates. 5 stars ☺️.Version: 1.8

✓ Remove “My Location” LabelI look at the Weather app everyday several times a day and I always love to see the new updates. I was really happy to see the new Chance of Precipitation graph. It looks great and makes it really easy to see when it will rain. But I really dislike that on my location weather page it now says “My Location” in large text with the name of the city below that. It looks terrible. I suggest either flipping it so that the city name is large and the “My Location” text is small or just remove the “My Location” text completely. Not only would this look a lot better it would be more consistent with the other city pages. Removing it would probably be the best solution. It simplifies the content and looks a lot cleaner. The “My Location” label does provide me anything I don’t already know. I love this simple and well designed app. I hope you take this feedback to keep it simple and clean..Version: 1.9

✓ Apple weather app reviewFirst of all, it’s an Awesome weather app…Really gives a detailed breakout of current weather and forecast. The best is the detail weather graphs where you can slide your finger along the day and it shows hr by hr conditions…. Super feature!!! One thing I would like to see added is during summer months in the South see the dew point as the main item being graphed and the humidity # below…. Dew Point is the metric used in the the South to indicate the comfort level we feel. Currently it’s the humidity being graphed with dew point # below… it would be a great option…. thanks! One item that I don’t care for is the radar with all its colors ….the colors change so fast that it’s difficult to correlate conditions to time …. maybe less colors or a way to control the speed would be helpful…thanks! ✓ Zero starsI’m a Dark Sky weather app user. It’s user interface and accuracy are incomparable. I don’t understand why Apple purchased Dark Sky because of their market dominance and then would remove the app! Apple’s ‘Weather’ app is useless. It always has been, which is why the purchased Dark Sky. Apple SHOULD have purchased Dark Sky, rebranded the interface, and ended their ridiculous and useless ’Weather’ app. The ability to easily look at all aspects of weather on an hourly basis in Dark Sky is the major reason it is so functional and popular in my opinion. As an outdoors person, I rely on an accurate and easy to use app (Dark Sky until the end of 2022 apparently) to plan my outings. This ability is not only convenient, but offers a much safer experience for my outdoor excursions. There are outings that aren’t safe under various weather conditions, and being able to plan by the hour makes being active a much safer experience with Dark Sky. Unless Apple updates their ‘Weather’ app to the level of Dark Sky, they’ve increased the level of risk and danger for outdoors people exponentially. BAD MOVE APPLE!!!.Version: 1.8

✓ As good as Dark Sky (for me)I've used Dark Sky for a long time and finally switched, with some reluctance, when the app started saying it was going away every time I opened it. And I don't know what older versions did but the current version is really fine. It does the things I wanted from Dark Sky: a rainfall map with an hour-out interpolation, and when it thinks it is about to rain a new panel appears at the top of the forecast saying what it thinks will happen over the next hour. This is, again, really fine: Apple seem not to have messed this up..Version: 1.8

It makes all of the rich information that is presented to you feel simplistic and unobtrusive. I am absolutely in love with all of the gorgeous background animations. They make the app feel very engaging and a great joy to use. Additionally, Weather is very reliable. I have found the daily forecasts and notifications to be very accurate and quick, which have been insanely useful countless times. There are also many life saving features such precipitation, air quality and temperature maps that I highly appreciate. ✓ I love the app 😍🤩It tells me the forecast but sometimes, but not very often, it’s wrong, which it bothers me a little but I just don’t care because it changes back to right again and if you look at other cities or other places such as Antarctica it’ll tell you how many degrees and if you get like a severe weather you’ll get a warning but not a notification so I suggest you check it hourly and if there’s a tornado 🌪 watch I suggest you to check it every few minutes but speaking of the app it’s amazing and smart 😍 and if you get a weather alert press the bottom of the warning and it’ll tell you the information ℹ️ like precautionary/preparedness so if you get like a tornado watch or a hurricane watch I suggest you to check it every hour in case it turns Into a warning ⛔️ or emergency 🆘 if you get a warning or emergency PREPARE FOR SHELTER IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THE ALERT EXPIRES!!!!!!
