✓ After issues, corrected. This app is great!Have used this app for a few years. Only issue, which is a real pain, is that synching is not reliable. In the past it would sync instantly between iPhones and iPads. Not anymore. Starting to look at other options. Update: After numerous times of deleting and reinstalling we determined it was an issue with the iPhones. Works great on the iPads. We actually tried other apps and came back to this. ✓ Most useful app I useI have used Account Tracker for over 5 years. I've looked but cannot find a better, more useful account app. I add entries whenever I go shopping or at the end of the day. A few times a week I reconcile my expenses with my online bank and I've never been caught off guard. ✓ Great, straightforward appEasy, simple to use, customizable, account manager. I sue it for my bank accounts and credit cards. With auto sync between iPhone & iPad using iCloud, I can enter transactions on one and see them on the other instantly. Auto backup as well. ✓ Exceptional iReconcile replacementI had been reluctant to upgrade my iPhone to the latest version of iOS because iReconcile was no longer supported. After much searching for a replacement I certainly found it in this app. Easy to import all my old data from the bank and get up and running quickly. The ability to use my Dropbox instead of having to pay a yearly subscription to backup and sync with my wife is wonderful! So far I have only used the backup but soon I will setup the syncing as well. On top of it being the perfect replacement for the other app, I emailed the developer about some things I wanted changed to make it easier for me to read not thinking anything would come of the request because who am I to ask for changes to the program. Low and behold, I immediately got a reply to my email. The developer understood exactly what I was asking for and in the update that came out just now the options I wanted are now included. I’m happily astounded and I am so glad I found a perfect replacement for a now unsupported app that I had used for years. I can see using this app for years to come..Version: 5.5
✓ Accounting Pro is the bestThis is the most complete Checkbook or accounting application for Apple iPhone, ipad and MacBook. All data syncs to these devices. I Keep multiple accounts in this program and the grouping function really allows you to organize how accounts are totaled and presented. ✓ Replace your paper register.Account Tracker Pro adds a few features over the original paid version. I bought this primarily because I want to support the developer and his development and support of the app. And the 3D Touch addition to easily add a new transaction from the app icon is gold. Account Tracker can be simple or detailed. I mainly use it as my checkbook register and to keep track of a few other savings and credit accounts. ✓ Another move from PocketMoneyEasy to transfer all your data over from PocketMoney, it has all the features you need for personal finance management. It would be good to be able to customize the Budget section better and have the ability to create sub categories under spend and have these associated with custom timeframes e.g month, quarter or year. This app is a great replacement that meets all my needs - recurring transactions with a look ahead feature that is great for budgeting and cash flow projections, budgets, reports, multi-device syncing AND GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT. ✓ Serious personal accountingIf you want a great ledger type accounting app without all the ridiculous graphics this is the one to have. Good graphics to track spending, pie and bar graphs they are there. But the nuts and bolts of the app are much like the quicken software I used to use on a PC. ✓ Very comprehensive app and well designedI have used this app for all our domestic accounts since Jan 2016 so that’s over 7 years now. If you take the time to read the manual and enter some test data you will be well rewarded. The UI is clean and intuitive. The app is flexible so you can tailor it to your own circumstances. It is so easy to enter transactions, reconcile accounts, set budgets, back up data and sync across devices. A truly brilliant app. The only improvement I can think of would be to have the option to retain past years budgets as the present budget figures are used across all time periods. But that is a nice to have. All the essentials are there. Edit: Soon after the above was posted Graham contacted me to let me know that in fact you can use fixed dates which allows different budgets per year. So I shall definitely be trying that! I do my entries when I make an expenditure and so no more end of month lengthy reconciliations with receipts and statements. Also as the previous app now wants to charge a subscription fee just to be able to remove ads and receive support from developers. This app ticks all the boxes that I had. I reconcile my accounts daily using this app. I’ve recently upgraded to the Pro and it was so straightforward to import my backup and I was up and running in seconds. I have managed to keep track of all my receipts using the app for my self employed business and my income making completing my tax form so straight forward ( even though this isn’t the aim of the app, I’ve just used it for my own advantage) - I just couldn’t live without it. ✓ Invaluable appI’ve been using Account Tracker for about three years and it’s proved invaluable for tracking my finances on multiple accounts. I can see what I’ve spent as well as forecasting what I will spend on regular bills. The reporting let’s me see where I’ve spent what and check overall spending. For a more detailed analysis I can export .csv files of a complete account and even the results of a search, this has proved useful and revealed some surprising trends! When I saw that the Pro version had been updated to allow Split Screen on IPad Air and automatic back up I had no hesitation in buying the paying for it, well worth the money. ✓ All I useI've been using this app since 2015 and it simply works. I've tried other financial apps but none of them fit my brain the way this one does. Budgeting is so simple with this. Every account from every bank or other financial institution is all in one place. I can watch my debts (car, house) go down month by month, and when they are paid off, simply delete the whole thing while records of payments are still kept in my checking account section. And when (as I often do) I decide to change a category or detail group and delete the old, it does NOT delete previous transactions and screw up the balance. It merely puts a blank space in the old transactions. For several years I kept a backup, paper checkbook, but once I needed to wipe my phone and reinstall this from a backup I had emailed myself and realized how simple it was, I tossed out the checkbook. It's simple to use, but you need to spend time getting it set up right. The User Guides are very clear, and you always have access to Graham the developer if you're unsure of anything. ✓ Great AppA very good app. Been using this app for several years. We have 16 accounts set up (it seems a lot but includes 3 business accounts and savings accounts). Love the following: You can split transactions so one amount can fall into different categories On entering transactions previous categories used for the same named transaction come up. The speed of entering transactions Having categories and sub categories The ability to download and input CSV files. The useful well thought out reports. There are a couple of of very minor items that I would change. In reports - in the chart view you can see which account your viewing, but not in the list view. In splits you can't add a note to the transaction (however I can see that would be difficult) Definitely 5* for me. I can't understand reviews that give this app 1*, but reading the comments makes me think they have not understood what it is about I also have the app for the Mac useful, but not as exceptional as the IOS.Version: 5.9.3
✓ Fantastic for financeI make extensive use of this app everyday and it is a great way of tracking your finances. One particularly useful feature for me is that it monitors exchange rates. If you have money overseas you can see the current rate. The only real problem that I have experienced is that sometimes the syncing between devices doesn’t work. I get around this by resetting. ✓ Good app, needs just a tweak or twoI had been a user of iReconcile for several years until the lack of updates made it impossible to use. I have tried several other checkbook type apps. I’m not interested in a Mint type app. My investments and longer term finances are all covered elsewhere. I just want to track day to day spending and sync with different users/devices. Perhaps because I had used the same app previously, I didn’t really take to any of the others I tried but after a couple of weeks I really like Account Tracker Pro. First, the Dropbox sync works really well, it is easy to set up and syncs quickly. Next, transaction entries are pretty easy, although you have to save a couple extra times while entering a transaction if what you are entering hasn’t been previously entered. Also, it would be nice if you could re-order transactions on the same date. Overall just minor annoyances. Everything else seems pretty intuitive. Lastly, I emailed the developer, Graham Haley a couple times with questions early on. He responded quickly and has put out an update in the couple of weeks I’ve been using the app. Hopefully this bodes well going forward. Overall, a good app!.Version: 5.2.1

✓ Best Replacement for iBankWas a long time user of iBank (now Banktivity). I stopped using it for personal reasons and because the upgrade path didn't seem reasonable and too expensive. Forward to today, I now need to have something to keep track of a small business I have and I thought the old iBank would be just the thing. But I found the old 32bit app was no longer supported so I started looking for an alternative. The latest Banktivity was way too featured for what I needed and it would have cost me way too much. Then I found Account Tracker. It was perfect for what I needed to do and once I got used to its data entry, i liked it better than iBank. Let's just say that AT is simple but effective. It didn't come with a bunch of predefined categories I never used, it simply built up a list as I added transactions. I thought I would miss having a desktop app (it's coming) but the desktop viewer is actually all I need. And the price and support can't be beat. So if you don't need all the online banking (I find those to be counterproductive and confusing) or investment tracking but want a solid way to keep track of your spending, Account. Tracker is for you (and me). Update: I’ve been using this app for several years now and am now even more impressed with its capabilities and simplicity. It now has a supporting desktop app which is an adjunct to the iPhone app which is great in that I can now review transactions on my desktop and make changes as necessary and then sync back to my iPhone. Of the financial tracking software I’ve used, this is by far my favorite. It doesn’t have the fancy graphics based UI of the many competitive apps but in my mind, this is what makes this app so powerful. Where it shines is the simplicity with which I can enter transactions and then edit them if needed. And the handling of foreign currency transactions are far better than what I was used to. I can keep a close eye on what’s coming in and going out, across my accounts, and that enables me to plan ahead - which is where you gain the advantage. One feature I would like to see added involves the notes sectional. It lets you scan a receipt, which is difficult to be accurate. ✓ Very Productive Use for Tracking Budgets...We've been using this app. for over a year, and it's really helped us get more organized about our money. It checked off the main box of what we wanted it to do -- 1 app. to work as an on-the-go Budgets' tracker and Checking/Savings accounts' ledger for all our banking accounts. In conjunction with our main budget app., we use this almost daily to input debits and view the balances on our banking accounts with different institutions, plus the budgets we created within those accounts (e.g., Vacation Planning in Savings). Mentally speaking, it's really helped in visually seeing financial goals be met or on the way of being met and definitively understanding how much cash money we have across the board, can or should not spend, and where it gets allocated. ✓ Great application with no subscription required!This is the app I have been searching for over 1 year for! I had even gone so far as to purchase the Apple Developer license and begin to start learning to program myself because I have literally bought about 10 different checkbook apps searching for something like this. -Uses iCloud so that multiple devices can be used to enter data -Uses iCloud so that no subscription is required Those were the two main checkboxes I needed checked. I would advise anyone using it to Read The Freaking Manual (RTFM). It defaults to a reconciliation method I had not seen before (items today and in past are cleared) so that threw me off but the developer was very nice about it. Responded within minutes. You can create your own categories which is nice and I had seen this in other apps. I like how it memorized the payees and I can go in and edit the list. I like it also has a backup feature too which gives me peace of mind (especially after having 3 different apps lose all of my data after using them about 3 months). In order to use multiple devices make sure you read the pop ups which appear when turning SYNC on. They are very clear. From what I know about the iCloud sync, iOS can throttle the syncing so you will want to turn it on for your primary device and then wait a bit before turning it on for the second device. ✓ Nice and easy to useI have used this app,since i moved to Iphone. Its very easy to use and a great app to track your expense and projections for the future. Only downside i found is, when you are projecting your expense for a work week, you have to type or copy in the data for every work day. Let's my wife and I keep track of all of our income and spending. Schedule upcoming payment reminders and income so that we know exactly what's going on. Safety of making backups, exporting data in csv formats to use in spreadsheets. In addition there is excellent support from the app developer. The most recent update added automatic backups. Importantly, the app is kept up to date and there is a regular stream of updates. What the app has enabled me to recently is being able to analyse my expenditure in detail over a number of years and make projections for my future. My IFA has used this in cash-flow projections for my retirement planning. ✓ Best Accounts AppI have used this app for many years and it is by far the best app I have ever had. I can see at a glance where my expenditure is going and into the future. Not sure exactly how it is pulling currency exchange rates but reconciliation of all currencies in one currency of your choice is great way to know roughly your current overall balance. Love it! ✓ Solid, dependable, simple account trackerI've used this app for a few years now. I need to file my taxes each year and find trying to reconcile my accounts at the end of the year a pain. I'm often hunting for what I actually paid for as many digital invoices are ambiguous. This app is worth gold! Every couple of days I reconcile Account Tracker Pro with my banking app. I add all the detail and add whether I can tax declare the transaction. Categorising my transactions also allowes me to see where my money is going. At the end of the year I can export to CSV and will have my taxes done in no time. I've been using Pocketmoney for years, but the current owners have increasingly been fleecing long term users & have moved to a subscription model to remove ads & maintain functions - I've had enough... So looked for an alternative Account tracker pro is definitely it. After quite a minimal familiarisation, my accounts are up & running. Easier to use than other apps & the syncing & backup strategies work really well. I can't say how pleased I am at moving to this app. In addition, reading the many, many glowing reviews (Pocketmoney owners should look at their latest 1 star reviews here!) it's obvious that users are listened to & very well supported. ✓ Best app on my phoneI genuinely used to be hopeless with money, constantly just paying the minimum off credit card balances and going unexpectedly overdrawn - having too much month at the end of the money! This app has changed my mindset and behaviour entirely. I now know to the penny how much I have in each account and what is coming out (some are estimates obviously, like my weekly supermarket spends - which I have set up as a typical recurring payment). Takes a little while to get regular payments set up but it’s super easy. Takes seconds to update income / expenses and change dates as they come. The reports are a great motivator. Essentially, I will be able to pay off my mortgage (which was previously offset, and had not decreased at all in 10 years) in the next 5-6 years, and because I am now used to living on a budget, should be able to retire early. ✓ Exceptional financial toolIntuitive and endlessly helpful. I’ve used this app (in various guises) almost every day since its release and cannot say enough about how useful it has been in getting my finances in order. It’s brilliant if you’ve got any number accounts, loans, savings etc and want to know where you stand now and at any point in the future. I’ve recommended it to family and friends in financial trouble; it’s a perfect tool if you’re ready to start being realistic about your spending but it offers so much more. Was able to transfer my files to this app fairly easy. Keep all my banking accounts and iras. As an 89 year old I had very few questions that I had to seek help with. Support was outstanding. ✓ Great replacement for QuickenI looked at several replacements as I moved from Windows to iPad. Graham has done a good job to make this App easy to use, and has included some ‘advanced’ features (like multi-currency, split transactions, csv transaction import, stocks and shares, and auto backup and syncing between devices). It is still early days for me as I am still ‘converting’, but what I have seen so far looks great! I upgraded to PRO quite quickly as I needed/wanted the account list in pdf, and also liked the idea of automatic backup and the syncing option (for quick updates on-the-go from my iPhone). The regular updates to the app show a continued interest and commitment from Graham, and his website provides more support and information, and even a couple more apps (Meter Readings is on my list - to replace an Excel spreadsheet..)..Version: 5.6.3

✓ Best App In ExistanceThis honestly may be the best app that exists. It’s absolutely incredible at tracking finances and syncing with other users. This allows me and my wife to track all of our spending, including recurring expenses and even gives reports. Most importantly it’s seamless in operation and I have yet to find a bug. It replaced Splash Money, and I've never been sorry to have started using it. The "look ahead" or "future" feature is a great way to tell at a glance if there's enough in the account to pay bills for the next month or three. A couple of years ago I had my head turned by Open Banking apps who in the main charge for the seemingly beneficial advantage of been able to download transactions direct from banks etc. Whilst this might save on typing the time spent amending transactions wrongly transcribed or the frustration created when connections go wrong and the need to forever re enter passwords I’ve decided to come back with my tail firmly between my legs. ✓ A Happy ReturnI used this app several years ago but stopped when I got in a muddle with it [entirely my fault and Graham could not have been more helpful at the time]. I have just started using it again after finding other apps quite cumbersome and it has taken less than 24 hours for me to become totally besotted with it again [yes I know it is just an app, but really it’s so much more than that]. The UI is clean, intuitive and easy to use. The options for customisation are amazing, which means you can set up all your transaction categories to make sense for your own life rather than using pre-set ones that a developer thought would work. I love having all my accounts, including the cash in my purse, on the same screen so that I can see the impact of my spending on the bigger picture. The ability to look forward several months, as well as backwards at what has already been spent, is great for forward planning. I am more confident of managing my money better with this app and also of reaching my savings targets, which is something I’m really focusing on at the moment. Didn't really need the Pro version, but I wanted to support the developer - plus automatic backup and being able to see my accounts on my Apple Watch was worth the upgrade! With each update this app gets better & better, & the author is quick to respond to feature requests & fix the tiny number of bugs that arise. Dropbox & iCloud integration for backup & synchronisation between devices is a superb feature & support from the developer is outstanding. I use this app every day & wouldn't be without it. ✓ Long term user, been a great help.I’ve been using Account Tracker Pro for a number of years now and it’s helped grow my confidence in money management. The ability to create and edit a broad range of accounts, transactions and categories allows for a highly personalised experience which works exactly as I need it. The interface is clear and, after some initial experimenting, it’s very easy to use. There is a detailed User Guide in the settings and support is easily accessible should it be required. The Reports tab is particularly useful in evaluating outgoings through a simple, colour-coded pie chart and other features. This, along with the Budgets tab, helped me make savings which has had a positive long term effect on my finances. The transaction input on this app manual and this could be deemed as time consuming when compared to those apps which sync directly with your bank accounts. However I would say that the increased opportunity for personalisation, ability to be precise and the considerable lower cost counters this balance for me. I also use the app to project my future financial position by experimenting with future transactions and as yet, I haven’t found another app which caters for this. I recommend this app to anyone wanting to take control of their finances, keep an eye on multiple accounts or plan for their financial future..Version: 6.7
✓ Finances completeThis very useful app offers over the base version unlocked syncing privileges (where one has multiple iDevices), is smarter looking (albeit rather austere), and will be supported with new features as they arrive. Along with the base version, Account Tracker Pro’s (ATP) special feature is displaying future balances. Most finance apps will give historical data and boast pretty reports (as an aside, ATP’s reports boast very useful average account balance/s) yet ATP is special with letting one find a way through future income cycles. When there is a shock to one’s income (as I write, we are affected by economic recession) the app is like a friend with pointing out the impact of financial decisions. ATP correctly categorises refunds as just that and not as income. The care with this product transcends the austere exterior, and setting up a budget to follow is much easier than most, too..Version: 6.0.2

✓ The bank likes me now.I was terrible with money, I was always overdrawn, forever forgetting direct debits coming out in future and I would spend spend spend. The bank manager used to joke that he could only pay his staff on my payday. I started with the basic version of this app over 5 years ago and once I set it all up it told me how much money I had left ( less future debits ) and I’ve never been overdrawn since. I’m so used to inputting my spending it’s now 2nd nature, and I’m pleased to say that I actually managed to save enough money for a deposit and now have a mortgage.
