When you do this with NumPad the actual number keys go tiny and the Space, Enter, ‘ and . keys are huge. This makes it stupidly hard to use and unfortunately wrecks the experience for me. ✓ Great app, EXCEPT...This is the third time I'm rating this app and I'm lowering the rating to 3 stars because of the underlines used on the interface - they make it RALLY HARD AND SLOW to read and quickly find the numbers and symbols I'm trying to type. As mentioned previously, I'm generally so happy to have this app, and there are many good things about it, but its really frustrating that every number and symbol shown on the user interface is underlined; it makes it so CONFUSING to find the symbols and therefore SLOWS DOWN the ENTIRE process of typing which COMPLETELY defeats the purpose of using the app in the first place. I have no idea why any of the numbers or symbols are underlined at all. WHEN WE USE CALCULATORS, THE NUMBERS AND SYMBOLS ARE NOT UNDERLINED; WHY ARE THEY UNDERLINED HERE? I see no purpose in having them and they make the app unpleasurable to use. I've been using the app for a while, thinking i will get used to the underlines but still hate them - so much so that it frustrates me to even go into the app. Even if for some reason the developer wants to keep the numbers underlined, please at least remove the underlines from the symbols. They are the hardest to read. The worst being the: period, plus sign, hyphen, equal sign, colon, semicolon; they look like completely different symbols because of the added underlines and are very hard to differentiate. PLEASE, REMOVE THE UNDERLINES. I feel certain ALL current and future users will be much happier without them. If you are a user and feel this way too, please let the developers know so we can get this app up to the 5-stars it will then deserve for the speed it can then bring when we need to type numbers and symbols. Thanks :) ------ My original comment is below and at that time i gave NumPad just 3 stars (even though i was thrilled with its basic great function), After my recommendations, the developers quickly incorporated them and now i really love this app! Thank you! I highly recommend it! What a joy to be able to type numbers, symbols, and spaces and not be forced back to an alpha keyboard!! The one improvement I would still like to see made is the removal of the underlining on the interface. Not sure why it's there but it makes it hard to quickly pick out the numbers and symbols needed. It would be easier on brain and eyes if there were no underlines. Anyone else not liking those? Again though, this is s great app at a beer reasonable price, i had no problems installing it on my iphone 8, and it's such a convenient time saver when needed. Most of all its an alternative to constantly being frustrated by Apple's developers for not putting a numlock on their keyboard. Thanks More Voltage for creating this great option! ----- original review below ---- I just discovered this app and love and appreciate the idea of it (as it won't so infuriatingly switch to an alpha keypad like Apple's and other third party's apps do after hitting the space bar) but it lacks for some basic necessary functions when working with numbers. Here are some ideas that i'd like to see incorporated: -A dollar sign needs to be added! This is huge since so many of the numbers we input via our keypad represent dollar amounts. It's bizarre to me this app DOESNT have a $ key and this lack will really deter me from using it at all or recommending it to others. Please add a $ symbol. -The "&" key is one i use a lot as a dance instructor and musician and i would love to see it added even if in a second or third hidden row. -The underlines that appear on the interface below every number and symbol need to be removed. I don't understand why they are underlined at all. It's really hard on the eyes and makes it so difficult to differentiate each special character such as the plus symbol, apostrophe symbol, hyphen, colon. Eg as the plus symbol is underlined it appears to be a plus minus symbol instead of just a plus. I'd like to see the removal of ALL the interface underlines. They just make the whole interface look messy too. Thank you for considering my feedback.
