Tally: Pay Off Debt Faster for Negative User Reviews

Don’t fall for itDecided to try this app because I figured why not. I’m relatively responsible and have been trying to be more active in my financial journey but still have struggled with some lingering credit card debt and thought this might be the little help I needed to help me power through. Worst decision I’ve made. Not only is there little to know explanation on how Tally actually works before you commit, the amount you are required to pay (including minimum) fluctuates every month so there’s no way to budget for it. PLUS it adds more interest onto the interest you are already paying on your cards if you continue to use them. Basically unless you plan to not use the credit cards at all until they (and tally) are paid in full, this is a complete scam. You are much better off getting a personal loan with fixed terms and saving yourself the headache..Version: 5.51.0

Horrible ServiceUpdate: Horrible Cookie Cutter response from company. They try to explain the way they conduct the verification and imply that it was my fault for not getting back to them quick enough. If they had actually taken the time to read my review, I clearly state that I was never informed of anything whatsoever. I was not contacted stating I had 14 days, I was not contacted at all. I had to figure things out myself by calling them. Then when I did call them and told them I had not been contacted they didn’t extend my time to verify or apologize or anything. Just plain rude people. The app itself seemed to work ok. I set up my cards, just two. I was all prepared to make my first payments. Then the app stated I had an error and my account would be closed in a few days. After that I contacted customer service to figure out what was going on. They told me I hadn’t responded to their email for requests on further documentation. I never received an email other than the initial setup emails. I informed them of that. They did not give me any extra time to get the documents they requested and simply closed my account. I’ve got great credit and always make my payments on time, there was no reason for me to be treated so horribly..Version: 3.5.3

Still waiting on verificationThe sign up part was easy. Although very little communication after being sent to verification. Even after uploading all docs, same day. Their FAQ’s don’t even provide information on the process for verification which should be disclosed. Such as ETA’s possible backlogs. Again would rate high if there was more communication on their part. Even sending an email to support returned a vague response. Didn’t even touch on my question that was sent. We’ll see how this turns out been a week already so we’ll see. Update: Apr 16, This process started March 27. It is now mid apr, and I am still going back and forth with their verification Dept. After being ask to supply initial documents and then having to go through a phone call verification. I’m still being asked to verify documents. I have never had such a horrible experience with any financial institution. Mortgage lending process is much quicker. After being asked to notarize an affidavit online and provide two more additional docs. Only to receive another email, asking for another document, that was never asked in the initial request. I hope anyone else that reads this, doesn't have such a bad and lengthy process as I am having..Version: 2.0.18

Honestly a scamTally changed the terms of the agreement when they sent me an email that my credit line was no longer being funded because they lost the funding and it’s beyond their control. They decided to stop payment on my balances after I had already made a payment for that month for those balances. They just applied my payment to my credit line which has now just turned into a loan I’m paying back. This happened suddenly without any prior warning and really put me in a bad position because I had payments due in days that I was under the impression I had already paid money towards. I had to take out another loan to make my payments on time. Tally also deleted all my credit cards off the app so they aren’t even helping me track the balances all in one place as they claim. Read the fine print and don’t bother with this app if you’re already in a tight situation. They will exploit that. I’m looking into the legality of their actions but I would not recommend giving them your business..Version: 6.7.2

Debt TrapI have used Tally for more than 5 years now. And I just realized that this apps perpetuates a debt trap. At the beginning it charges low interest. After paying it off in the first year. I continued using it and paid it off. But last year was difficult for me financially. And I just made minimum payments. As I just realized today, my balance didn’t go down as expected as fast as it used to be. Turned out, they raised the interest way higher, much higher than my credit cards APR. This is crazy. Isn’t the point of using this Apps to offset the credit cards APR so we can be helped. Apparently, not only they increased the interest rates, they also charged interest daily. This is just crazy. I feel like they’re profiting from the misery of struggling individuals. It is a debt trap. Do not use this apps! I repeat do not use this apps!.Version: 6.10.0

Flawed systemI really liked the app at first but the company really has some major adjustments to make for me to continue using it. I spoke with two different people today trying to get a partial payment authorized to one of my cards using the remainder of my tally credit line so I could pay the rest of the statement balance myself, and therefore avoid an interest charge on my next statement. Apparently it is not possible for them to do this as they “have to rely solely on their algorithm to determine what tally will pay” and so only the minimum payment could be made to the card until until they see that I have already been charged interest. I understand why the algorithm would be structured this way but it makes no sense why they are unable to override it if it can prevent me from receiving this interest charge in the first place.Version: 3.4.2

Probably not worth itUnless you have incredibly high credit card interest rates and the self discipline to not use your credit card again once Tally has paid them, this is probably not for you. $300 yearly fee really eats into your savings despite a lower rate. It also doesn’t feel very transparent - very little information available in the app. I’m getting close to paying this off, but only because I realized you have to disconnect it from your accounts or it just keeps paying and adding to your debt with them. If you choose to use Tally you have to understand that you are paying for credit with more credit, which is never a good idea. Just put these payments towards your credit cards and STOP USING THEM. If you keep using your cards, you are now paying the credit card interest and fees PLUS the Tally internet and fees - not good..Version: 5.73.0

Not so fastIt was great in the beginning, when they lend you that lump sum of money, to pay down the highest interest rate, credit card, and make the payments were manageable. Then, they decided that in one tally billing cycle, it was a good idea to pay two months of one of the credit cards. This generated a payment that I was not able to afford. Not sure if this was a trap, but they set me up on a payment plan, and stopped paying my credit cards until I caught up. This continues to generate interest rates, and not the discounted one, since I am not up-to-date on my payment, because I owe them money. So they raise your interest rate because you are now at fault. I am now paying three accounts, and I owe two credit cards, plus tally, instead of making one comfortable payment to manage the 2 credit cards I enrolled. At the end of the day, it’s a form of debt consolidation and LOAN, that will only generate more debt for you, especially if you continue to spend on the credit cards. Good luck.Version: 5.68.0

BewareI downloaded the app with high expectations…sorry I didn’t read the reviews first….I became a little scepticle for not having done the research so I wanted to take my cards out of the app. Low and behold I found out that you cannot do this from the app. So when I finally found a phone number and called about the account…besides the fact that they push the $100 deal on you for a $5.95 fee…you get pushed around from rude person to rude person and then try to get you to verify info you never gave in the first place. Customer service is key and when someone feels uncomfortable with your service..yelling at them won’t make it easier. So my review is based on the unprofessional people they have working for them. I actually had to call my bank and get new cards. SHAME ON YOUR BAD SERVICE!.Version: 5.22.0

Yikes2 stars for concept, but this app is terrible. I downloaded it to redeem the $50 Groupon deal, not realizing that so much personal information would be required (name, address, credit card number, credit card login, and a soft credit check). I unsuccessfully linked my credit card because I couldn’t remember my card login information. Okay, all of this is my fault. I should’ve done more research and had my information readily available. However, the app is terribly designed. Not only have they forgotten to put in “back” buttons to return to a previous screen - meaning you have to fully exit the app to get out of certain screens - but they’ve added unnecessary animations and haptics that take WAY too long to finish and you cannot navigate out of them before they’re done. Plus, once you’ve added one credit card, there is no option to add another before signing up for their line of credit (which I can only assume results in a hard credit check). At this point I have no idea how to just get the $50 applied toward my credit cards, and I’d rather not take a hard credit inquiry to my credit score anyway, so I’m deleting the app..Version: 3.8.1

Lack Real Time Data and ActionsAVOID THIS APP. It is not worth the frustration. First off, I have had continuous problems with the app because my Capital One cards would never link (which they said was a problem for all users currently). I used Tally Pay for a month or so with no other issues. My frustration and issues began when I changed my account setting from Tally Pay to You Pay (where Tally pays from my direct bank account) and they still processed the payment from Tally’s line of credit. I had made a payment directly from my bank (not using the Tally app) because I did not see the You Pay payment post and did not want to pay any late interest fees on my credit card. I also checked the app and there was no Tally Pay or You Pay payment for the credit card showing in the app. Well a couple weeks later, I check the app and see that they Tally had processed the payment from their line of credit, instead of my bank account as the settings were set to. So now I have an overpayment that Tally processed and I personally owe to Tally. When I canceled my account, the rep mentioned nothing about interest accrual but when I got my account cancellation email it says that I am accruing a daily interest on the amount I owe to Tally, which was a mistake made on their part! Horrible, vague policies and processes, along with lack of real-time data on the app that trap customers into owing more money. I would not recommend..Version: 3.9.1

Avoid this appRead carefully before even signing up, not only do you need a good credit score before even getting approved they are deceitful crooks. You put your cards in and select whether you pay or have Tally pay based off your credit line. Mine was $5000 I selected the option to pay the cards myself while they monitor them. Not only did I have to put my bank account information on here they went ahead and kept paying cards for me when I submitted a email to get a further explanation all they had to say was they don’t have the option to select that. Which is a total lie. I already went ahead and submitted a report to the Better Business Bureau about them. They’re crooks who only put you further into debt if you’re looking to get out of the hole just get a personal loan instead this company is shady and should be avoided at all cost. On a further note if you’re behind on payment they claim they’ve reach out which they don’t now they’re sending me emails stating I’m in the collection stage. Good luck since I never signed anything and my credit is shot anyway..Version: 6.2.0

Beware not as advertisedTally sounds good and seemed to work good at the start, but it doesn’t work as advertised! I have an excellent credit score 800 or so, but over spent for the holidays so I thought I’d give this a try. At first I was confused since I ended up overpaying my card because tally paid the same amount too. Ok, fine, so after 2 months of tally paying my 3 cards, I felt confident that I didn’t have to look at those 3 cards and wouldn’t have to pay for them! Until they didint! I was charged for late fees on 2! Their excuse - they said 1 of my card was unlinked, and they said they emailed me several times but the only one I found in my email and spam was 1 email about it and that was past the due date of that card!!!!!! And the other card they didn’t pay??? No response, they just unlinked all my cards like I asked! I guess it was easier to get rid of my and my complaints! I still need to pay for the initial amount they paid out and I can’t wait to do so!!!!! If someone files a class action lawsuit on them I’M so IN! This system is no different from other money lenders sending you checks for $50k or so, at least with those you know exactly what you need to pay! Either the tally app is faulty or the entire system is! The point of tally is to make debt paying easier and not add on to the debt!!!.Version: 3.10.0

What you need to know about this serviceFirst you need a minimum fico credit score of 660 to be approved for a line of credit. So if you don’t have that high of a score don’t even waste your time trying this option. Secondly when I spoke to the rep over the phone they could not be specific on how balances are paid down or off. They did advise that you can specify how you want your debt paid by using the line of credit. The run down is this. Your APR is going to range from 7.9%-21% roughly. I’m just making this comment so it’s easier for us consumers to see it. So they have a formula which I was unable to get from the rep over the phone. So since I don’t have their formula on how the APR brackets break down as far as the interest rates you might be funneled into I can’t really comment on that. But if their minimum fico score is 660 I think it’s pretty safe to say your going be in their higher APR bracket. And depending on your credit worthiness and debt history and payment history probably has a factor as well. Just saying this app sounds great and I would love to have just one payment and all cards paid off and just pay tally at a lower interest rate. Realistically though for me it sounds like tally would become another debtor added to my portfolio especially if my line of credit doesn’t cover all the debt of the cards. Just be vigilant before proceeding with this offer. Hope this helps someone. Consumer with debt.Version: 2.0.22

Unable to use the service. The first and most important of my issues is that they claim they pay off your cards for you so you don’t have to worry about it, which is false. All it really does is allow you to see all of the cards you have in one place (which also presents its own issues, I will discuss next), but you still have to decide how much to pay towards each card yourself (they don’t even give you the most basic of help in how much/how you should split up what money you have to go toward what cards). On top of that, I have 4 cards, two of which aren’t able to be connected, which is whatever because I was able to manually update the APR and balances of them. However, I have two checking accounts, Members first federal credit union, and BB&T which recently changed to Truist, and neither of these checking accounts are able to be linked, essentially making the entire app pointless because I couldn’t make any payments, even if I wanted to. If you’re going to have an app like this, maybe at least make sure that you give the most basic of help that you are advertising..Version: 5.17.0

WORST APP EVERAfter the usual marketing harassment to sign up for Tally, I decided to give it a try, they wouldn’t accept some of my cards because they had a debt under 5K, so I decided to transfer balance from another card and have one big balance so Tally could then make the payment and then I will pay them. Not only they didn’t cover the full balance of the card they accepted, they kept making ridiculous high payments to that card leaving me with the debt of the card still and a tremendous debt with Tally. They absolutely ignored all emails and settings changes asking them to stop making payments on my behalf. Now I have the credit card debt and a minimum monthly payment to Tally close to 700$ monthly, besides being in collections because I cannot meet the minimum payment. I tried to contact them regarding a payment arrangement and cancellation of my account an they came up with a payment that is as ridiculous as the former one, specially for a college student. This is not a debt free friendly app BE CAREFUL!!!! and understand how this works before you get involved, they don’t want to help you like other debt relief programs, all Tally wants is money, YOUR MONEY by getting you engaged in an endless cycle of debt.Version: 2.1.9

Not enough info in the app or onlineThe app and website don’t provide enough instruction on how to use the app and credit line. I am furious because the info provided lead me to believe that only one of my credit cards was compatible with the app and that that was the only card I could use my credit line with. WRONG. Every card you enter works with the credit line. I was also lead to believe that if a card had 0% interest (or lower APR than Tally) and a promotional balance that the app would not use the credit line to pay off that card. WRONG. I added a credit card with a $1200 balance that had 0% APR and a set $40/month payment plan for two more years. I obviously did not want the credit line to pay off this card, I just wanted to keep track of all of my cards in the app, which I was lead to believe was also a money management app. Imagine my surprise and fury when the credit line with 26% interest paid off my 0% interest credit card!! What a scam! On top of all of that, the commercials and app convinced me I would have a credit line that completely paid off my high interest cards and it would have lower APR. Nope. I got $2k and 26% APR. My credit score is right around the 700 mark, which is considered ‘good’, but I guess Tally considers it bad. Conclusion: pay attention to what cards you add and if your credit isn’t perfect don’t expect much of a credit line..Version: 5.38.1

Slightly better than a scamThought it was a great option to pay off some higher interest credit cards while maintaining some flexibility. The interest rate I ended up with initially was barely lower than my cards (in fact higher than one of them) but I thought "hey, on average it is a lower rate so why not." Well they've raised it faster than any of my CCs have during the Fed's rate increases so that it's now a higher rate than any of the cards I paid off with it. Over all would not recommend. It's true that a fixed rate consolidation loan will have less flexibility than Tally but I would really consider going that route instead if you can make it work financially. Tally is not a solution to credit card debt and any marketing they make to that end should probably be illegal or at least highly scrutinized in my opinion..Version: 5.88.0

Terrible ExperienceFor several days now, the app has had issues. I cannot load any of my account information, and they publicly stated they have been having issues with it. So, under their direction, I deleted and re-downloaded the app. It worked for one day and now they are having issues AGAIN. And that’s not even the main problem. After several payments, I noticed my balance wasn’t going down, so I contacted them and provided screen shots. They stated they did not see any issues, and when I checked later it appeared as though it was “fixed.” I felt uneasy, and absolutely do not trust this company or their employees and their cookie-cutter responses, so I completely paid off my balance and requested to close my account. They then stated they would start that process, and then send me a bill for all the interest I owed. Are you kidding me?! So after paying my balance I now have a completely separate interest balance I have to pay? Why isn’t this viewable in my account rather than me blindly getting burdened with yet another bill? The whole point of this was for me to be in a better place and pay off my debt. I feel like I was taken advantage of, and this company is a complete scam..Version: 4.1.0

Was it worth it?I do NOT recommend this service. Make a budget and use the snowball method. If you do not do the right process and have a large utilization on a card the highest card limit may exceed the total tally limit and you will end up paying for a single card twice. Waited almost 2 years after hearing about tally to finally be approved to only have Tally decide to not allow any of my lower limit cards be linked and so my whole tally balance went toward my highest limit credit card and now instead of paying off multiple cards at once I am paying triple the amount a month for a single card and still have to pay off the small limit cards that tally would of covered completely. After trying to link cards multiple times and even having some cards that were successful they unlinked themselves. ..Version: 5.73.0

Don’t take the loan if it’s higher than your current APR!!While Tally seems like a great idea, and I’m sure they are well meaning (maybe I’m not so sure). Well, hoping this app is rooted in the idea to help people, I’ll continue to say that I went through the application process and was approved for a line of credit at X% APR. Yay! Unfortunately the APR I was approved for was higher than any of the credit cards I’m trying to pay off. There was no warning and no information on the FAQ page for “What if I get approved for a higher APR than my current cards?” I was immediately taken aback and called the customer care center, who were actually very helpful and said they would take note. They essentially advised me over the phone to not move forward with the loan, BUT WHAT IF I DIDNT CALL?! How many people have gone through this process and are now paying a higher amount than they would otherwise pay?! Will remove when they add a warning prior to accepting the loan, and/or add an FAQ section for this information..Version: 2.1.13

Not worth itI had 2 cards with less than $2000 combined. I say it’s not worth it because right off the bat they charge you $300. I could’ve just paid $300 towards my original debt. Then as I was making my payments I realized that I wasn’t covering as much ground as I was when I didn’t have Tally. Can this app work for some and not others? Sure. As with everything in life it’s trial and error. Also my fault with this one, but once your cards are linked any incurring charges you put on those cards are paid by Tally and adds onto the credit line they have for you. Yeah I know.. that’s the whole premise but I thought it was worth reiterating. Admittedly I downloaded it because of Tiktok/YouTube. Their app is ok. Pretty intuitive and straightforward..Version: 5.18.0

Using for a while now. Updated reviewI highly dislike this service and app. I was hopeful about it but ran into some issues shortly after signing up as their system, even for connected cards, can not detect the special amount due. It only can tell full balance or minimum due. Only way to add a custom payment is talk to them, and depending on who you get, this will be a simple or complex process. Now, my cards never stay connected and will disconnect each month. So they are not being paid. And when they ARE being paid, they are sending double payments. I caught one of them but missed one. Now I have to fight my cc company to get the payment reversed without paying fees. CLEVER TALLY. Great way to make me pay more and accrue more interest with your “glitches”. This was the biggest mistake ever. I collected some cc debt during my remodel and was debating using this or taking out a HELOC. Use this if you absolutely desperate. I wanted to try it because I found their system and app attractive and it was easier than the HELOC. It seemed like it would be easy and simple to use. I should have taken out a HELOC since I have no mortgage. Be smarter than me, folks. Do better..Version: 5.22.0

Great concept but VERY misleadingI HIGHLY encourage others to stay away from this app, and i wish there was someone that could've told me the same. I've had a $8000 balance since August 2021, and as of February 2023 I successfully have a balance of: $7200. I'm literally in jail financially and mentally. let me also preface by saying i did not add any additional credit card payments to this balance. the $8k was what my debt was amongst all my cards. it was getting hard for me but i heard about how tally can help consolidate all that and i could just pay tally. it seemed very promising and exciting to think about being debt free. I pay about $200-$250 a month, but I get charged almost if not that same amount in interest. it feels like i'm just going backwards and it's frustrating. it's honestly depressing because they take a huge chunk out of me every month just so that my balance barely goes down. anyways i feel like tally is marketed as a stress free, debt free solution but i feel more into debt after applying for tally. i would suggest to just do your best to try to pay off your cards individually. you'd pay off less doing it on your own. if i could go back i wouldn't have applied for tally. now that i'm in a better place financially, i'm gonna pay it off as soon as i can and never look back..Version: 5.64.0

HORRIBLE!!!!Will only pay off the cards that they accept does not pay off cards based off of APR or anything that they say. Automatically pays stuff without authorization. Making my dent and my situation way worse than it already was! Paying on credit cards I had already paid on. Not giving any direction. Just asking me to plug in my cards, then they auto paid whatever credit cards they worked with and left the rest! Didn’t help at all! The money they “lent” went to all the worst places! HORRIBLE COMPANY! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Reported to BBB. Everything needs to be done to shut these money grabbers down! Offering APR just slightly below my credit cards. Unbelievable! NO HELP FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE! NO ONE KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON, WHY IT WAS GOING ON, NO ANSWERS! NO HELP! MADE MY SITUATION WORSE!!!! Recommend Self Credit Builder and just using a personal loan from your bank. Your bank can help you better then this horrible company! And they’ll give you better APR!.Version: 5.52.0

Decent but needs additional tweaks. The Tally financial app offers a user-friendly experience, making it convenient to link your Tally account with your bank cards. The app's interface is intuitive, allowing for easy navigation and account management. However, one drawback of the app is the absence of real-time notifications regarding Tally's intention to pay off cards from their line of credit. Instead of receiving immediate alerts, users are informed via email of the transaction. This lack of real-time notifications can be inconvenient for users who prefer to stay updated on their financial transactions. Another area where Tally falls short is its inability to provide an in-app option for users to change their email addresses. This requirement to contact Tally customer support by phone in order to update email information can be time-consuming and inconvenient. Overall, while Tally excels in ease of use and the ability to link accounts, the app could benefit from implementing real-time notifications and offering a more streamlined process for users to change their email addresses within the app..Version: 5.82.0

Terrible serviceI started on Tally because i needed help getting a few things paid off. When i put all of my cards into the system, it sent me a payment for one but not the others and their system still wont recognize the card that it paid on so instead of having one fast and easy payment that i “qualified for” it just added another payment that i have to add to my monthly bills for no reason because they didnt even pay off the first card. When i called customer support, they pretty much told me i was out of muck because they didnt “support my banks” even though they had made a payment to a card. So now, im reminded every month on the 1st when i spend my $41 minimum payment that i absolutely can’t stand Tally and will never use it again..Version: 5.53.0

They will WRECK your credit.Tally dropped my score by 53 points. Literally the worst service ever. I expected them to pay off a big chunk of my credit card, but they paid the minimum payment at higher interest rate than my credit card itself. Nothing more. Total scam. Capital One themselves are more lenient about missed payments than Tally. If you miss a payment they will report it right away, whereas Capital One is willing to work with you. I wasn’t even behind on payments, I was just trying to get an edge and help pay down my only high balance credit card and instead I get an epic score drop, and these people hassling me with threatening emails more than my credit card company ever did (which was NEVER). I paid off $10k of debt by myself that these people failed to help with. Don’t trust the reviews here, this company is obviously established for people who have predatory lenders and not “normal” credit card companies. 29% interest on the “tally line” is NOT any better than my 22% capital one APR. Filing complaints with BBB and anywhere else I can make it known..Version: 4.43.0

Sounds like a great ideaSounds like a great idea but was denied for only being 3 credits away from having the qualified credit score. I know I wasn’t denied for other reasons because I have never been late on a payment but I’m drowning in the high APR and whenever I make a payment it pretty much takes me back to where I was the previous month with interest. They want to help you pay off your debt and save on APR but how do they do that if you have to have a certain credit score. I’m drowning myself in high APR and would have loved the help but I don’t understand why you need a perfect score when your obviously struggling to even get a perfect credit score in the first place. Doesn’t make any sense to me. If you have that perfect of a credit score to be able to qualify for tally then you don’t really need to be using tally because you seem to already be able to pay off your cards pretty well already. Tally needs to help the ones who are obviously struggling and they obviously know whose struggling..Version: 5.42.0

STAY AWAY! Only trust with good credit!I would give this ridiculous app a zero star if I could. Obviously the concept is a great idea for those of us who actually need the service. It’s sad that this app only approves those with good credit. I have worked very hard to fix my credit from 400 to 690 and at 690 I still haven’t been approved due to payment history. Mind you Uber by Barclays and citi double cash approved me for 4K but this good for nothing company doesn’t want to trust people who are actually trying to build their credit again. Do not waste your time reading the fake reviews. Go to their Instagram and you will see the real reviews of consumers. You would think they would want to make more money but making the service exclusive is ridiculous. What person with good credit you know has debt? Lol.Version: 3.10.0

Frustrating appSetting the cards up was agonizing - I went through the entire process only to discover it hadn’t captured most of the cards I’d added. Somehow, although I’m trying to re-add these cards, it takes me to this page where it tells me “all the savings” that ai can have…on the basis of the few cards it had retained. Then, of course, I cannot simply back out of it to go add more, it “forces” me to continue to their tiered plans they have available. I try closing the app and reopening it (SEVERAL times) to try adding more cards. I reset my password, hoping that forces the app to allow me access to the point where I can add my cards, it takes me right back to this tiered pricing page with “all my savings” based on 2 cards I had in there. I try to switch to the desktop. None of my cards are recognized as valid. I give up. Just a terrible experience with this app..Version: 5.12.0

DisappointedWell the commercial made it seem like it was as easy as downloading the app. Once I downloaded the app I had to upload personal information (bank account , routing num etc) what the commercial failed to tell you was you have to be approved your credit has to be ran and you might not be able to get help frm this company, I wasn’t approved after they ran my credit well duh obviously thts why I needed the help frm Tally they gave a second option but I was over it a week later my account was charged $25 for a what I dnt know because they didn’t help me they couldn’t help me I wasn’t approved so me being charged was absurd I’m upset I just got off the phone with the bank for 1 hour tryna figure out where this charge came frm because on my account it does t say Tally it’s a AHC home frm Albert savings so be careful I’m not saying is a scam but it’s pretty weird how I was charged when the app was FREE to download.Version: 3.8.1

Cost me $75 in late fees, not transparentThis app prompted me to pay my credit cards through the app via email and text notifications. I scheduled payments same day. Unfortunately, it took 10 days for payments to be received by credit card companies even though it came out of my checking same day. Additionally, in the ads, it encourages you to download the app based on some kind of unconventional consolidation loan. However, it never indicates whether you are denied or even considered. Nothing is transparent with this app. When I said I would be canceling my account, they responded saying THEY would terminate my account. This is based on 2 emails I sent asking to be reimbursed for the late fees they caused on my credit cards. All of this feels extremely unprofessional and gray area-legal to me..Version: 5.66.0

All great except the constant de-linkingI love the idea of this app and it helps with paying off my debt no doubt, however I get about 1-3 notifications a month about how my cards keep de-linking from the app and that I have to relink. The app takes forever to link a card to its app and you have to do it each time for each individual card. Emailed customer service a couple times about this and they keep sending me the same copied+pasted automated message that literally doesn’t answer my question even a little. Huge pet peeve of mine is when customer service make it obvious they didn’t take the time or energy to really read your message and send a real response. It literally happens with like 90% of the companies I email when there’s a problem and I always have to point out to them that the answer they provided me has nothing to do with my question..Version: 4.41.0
