✓ Great V1 Add onI have used multiple Valentine 1 extension apps in the past, and I have to say this is the best one. Once you get used to interpreting the display it all makes sense. If you do download this app, I recommend that you go to the developer's website and follow the links for instructions. There are multiple ways to customize it, but it is completely usable without any customization. The fact that it will automatically remember the same false alarms and auto-mute them without your intervention is enough to make the purchase worthwhile. The app seems to continue to have support from the developer, unlike others that I have used. It is well worth the money. I would highly recommend this if you are a Valentine 1 user.Version: 2.0.38

✓ Completing the V1 experience!I have had a V1 for 20+ years now, and swear by it! I just recently picked up a Gen2, and found out about this app. This is incredible and completes the entire Valentine package. It offers the functionality that you want in a very intelligent way. I tried to figure out the app on my own, and it was a little bit cumbersome… But after watching a couple videos and reading a couple of well written blog posts, it is actually pretty well laid out. My hat is off to the developer. I don’t know if it is possible, as I am not a developer… But I think it would be an absolute game changer if it was at all possible to somehow pull in police location information from Waze, and somehow have the V1 react to it on a GPS based notification service. Maybe allowing Waze to run in the background, to feed information to V1driver… Which in turn would alert on the V1 device. I’m sure it’s not possible, but would be incredible!!.Version: 2.0.56

✓ Awesome, auto eliminates K falsesI really like the frequency and band anouncement through my car stereo, the easy mute button (although I wish I could click ANYWHERE on the screen to mute, not just the left side of the screen), and how super easy it is to use. I literally don't need to do anything to use it, as it connects in the background (and notifies you, if you want), and then starts tracking alerts to determine if they're falses or not. Now that I've driven through the same area a few times, I can drive through those same areas with having all falses auto muted. Very nice! Great app, and I'm looking forward to see what new options will be added in the future!.Version: 2.0.17
✓ AwesomeThis thing is amazing it's basically brings back the Valentine one before there was automatic doors everywhere. It does require some knowledge certainly out of the box it will do everything on its own but you can make the control much more granular. My recommendation would be to search the name of the application on the Internet and then read those postings for more detailed information but out of the box it will work very well.Version: 2.0.34

✓ This app brings Valentine One to new levels!!Incredible fantastic so accurate I just returned my escort 360 Max what a pleasure to drive around and have no more annoying false alarms. You know exactly where the radar is it pinpoints it. It uses the GPS in your Iphone and remembers where your false alarms are so next time it will be silent also gives you the frequency number which is great to know. You can also use Waze at the same time and it will still alert you in the background. This app has brought the Valentine One to new levels!! I want to thank the developer for spending all the time to create this and constantly keep it updated..Version: 2.0.14
✓ AmazingThis is absolutely fantastic. It isn't easy to 100% understand the radar screen layout but the apps great. Once it's connected to other V1 drivers it will shatter the stratosphere eliminating false alerts. There should be a way to confirm it was a thumbs up a signal if you confirm a police trap. Having the app alert me to a trap prior to the radar detector would make tickets a thing of the past. This is a great all around app and I'm still learning some features but wow I'm impressed..Version: 2.0.33

✓ CREATOR, Please Read This!First of all, what a fabulous app you have created to pair with the legendary V1. However, there is something HUGE that needs to be addressed! As you know, Michael Valentine didn’t see a need to include MRCD into the V1 G2—which is beyond me—and because of this, us V1 owners don’t know of such traps until we are in kill zone proximity (several feet from MRCD source). Moreover, if this is indeed true, that is, MRCD is detectable with the newer V1 albeit very short range, would it in any way be possible for you to save recorded instances into a global database to warn all V1 drivers of a potential MRCD location? (And do you know if MRCD technology implementation can be added by Mr. Valentine without needing new hardware and just a firmware update?) I look forward to your response. ✓ Great app. Would be nice if Escort has something similar.Love the app. It automatically connects to the V1 gen2. The gps savvy function is great. I find acquiring gps signal from the phone is much faster than Escort’s gps on the unit. Many times, my Escort 360 would not get a gps signal. Which would prevent me from enabling gps lockout. With this app working in unison with the V1 gen2, lockouts can be performed instantaneously. Please note that this gps signal acquisition issue may not be apparent to the newer Escort models. My experience here is with my first generation Escort 360 and V1 gen2. The later 360c or Redline 360 might have better or stronger gps modules..Version: 2.0.61

✓ V1 Driver: A ReviewYou may be wondering if this app worth ten bucks.... and the answer is... YES. I recently updated one of my V1s and purchased a V1C-LE module to connect it to my iPhone... little did I know, the stock V1 app left A LOT to be desired. Honestly, I was quite dissapointed in it... In my other vehicle, I had dabbled with YaV1 a time or two when a friend let me use his V1C to setup my custom sweeps, but I didn't like the idea of running two phones in my car... since I am primarily an iPhone user. I highly reccomend this app as it provides pretty solid GPS LOCKOUTS, voice alerts for what Ka frequencies you're being hit with, and Savvy emulation. I really hope Mr. Mills will continue to add features and update functionality as time goes on.. hopefully at a faster rate than VR!.Version: 2.0.24

✓ Must haveThis app is a must have if you own a Valentine V1. I love my V1 it's accurate and true. But the I live in an area where their are multiple speed traps, so it's constantly going off. This app uses gps to pin where it has alerted and will auto mute the signal. I trust my V1 so much more, that when I hear it I'm on my brakes because I know it's not a false or a recurring alarm. ✓ Great app for V1 DriversI love this app, the recent update lets you know “ALL CLEAR” when it doesn’t detect anymore bands after decrying some, I wish the voice alerts would be louder, for example I have CarPlay, it when I listen to music, it doesn’t dim the music, it just talks over the music, and you can faintly hear it, hopefully they read this and improve on that, that would be a nice feature to be heard if you’re playing music loudly and still want to make sure you hear the alerts..Version: 2.0.48
✓ Makes Valentine 1 the best againV1 is a great radar detector but non-police alerts were becoming intolerable. Valentine updates helped but V1 driver painlessly suppresses most annoying falses without reducing sensitivity. No user intervention is required although there are ample opportunities for tuning settings. If desired a tremendous amount of information is available regarding signals detected. Updates occur several times a year with bug fixes and new features. Clearly a labor of love by the developer. Highly recommended, particularly for urban or suburban driving..Version: 2.0.42

✓ OutstandingThis app is truly top notch, I give it 10/10. I have driven with a V1 in my vehicles since 1994, and this app turns it into what I dreamed of as the perfect radar detector. I have watched this sniff out a K-band shooting LEO amongst completely K-band polluted areas time and time again, all the while, muting the garbage K-band signals, it has earned my complete trust. I know the risk goes up slightly, but this app could not have done it any better, the trade off is soooo worth it, believe me. Mr. Mills, I want to say thank you....V1 driver is a work of art. The only thing I could want more, would be, to be able to have the V1 arrow display as an option, or somewhere on one of the other screens. Possibly in a future update? ✓ Breathes new life into the V1I've been beta testing this app for the last several months and happy to see it released. The benefits of using this app are amazing especially if you live in a noisy area with many false alarms. The features I love in this app are too long to list here but one a major advantage for me is using it while riding my motorcycle with the V1 Radar Detector attached. Audio alerts are streamed via the app to my Bluetooth headset in my helmet. It makes for a much quieter and less distracted ride. In the car it's just as useful and I can't imagine using the Valentine One radar detector without this app now. Job well done..Version: 2.0

✓ Worth every pennyGreat app. Quiets down the V1 driving through town. Works as a Savvy where you can set the speed below which it mutes automatically. Best aspect is it uses your phone's GPS in the background where it will mute a stationary signal that it sees in the same spot multiple times. Allows the user full control over which band to mute or not mute. Allows the user to set a time in seconds on when to automatically mute the volume on which band you choose. You will need to buy a bluetooth module from Valentine1 to plug into your power cord. Definitely recommend. Made my Valentine1 actually usable in town..Version: 2.0.30
