Update killed app on ios 12. XReinstall did not fix bug in ipad2 v12....Was working for years..update today..dead...wont stay max screen...useless..runs in tab switcher only..useless now..sigh.Version: 3.12.1

App works well but beware of auto-renewalThe app works fine. It did not work for my little one but is not unlike any other white noise app so it may work for yours. That being said, beware that the app has a built in auto-renewal feature that lands you with a bill a year after you download and test it..Version: 3.7.3

Far too expensive for what it isIt works but $70 every year to share this with my wife so we can calm the baby is far too much to ask..Version: 3.24.3

“Energy levels destroy’You...are a waste of reality You’re service needs more ASMR. I’ve been listening to the same whispers for ages. This helps me breathe. I can only listen to the male voice on whisper as the female drags the “s” words. I’ve talked to other members who say the same treatment is abuse. Please fix this. You have the power to change lives. Cutting down mamy self esteem issues.Version: 3.21.1

I AM NOT SOOTHEDThese sounds are spooky and obnoxious! Even with the oscillator option off there's been times when while I'm asleep there's a sudden clap of thunder or crash of a wave that wakes me up..The piano songs are all so creepy, and the baby songs are one note types of songs not like symphonies. They get annoying quickly... The fireplace one sounds like a house burning down..not like a soft familiar crinkling you are familiar with... and idk who can sleep to the Shush option and the howling wind tunnel option..that's very very creepy...but I like creepy. Sometimes. I'm on the premium and sometimes it takes days to load the sounds. I'm glad they made the price more affordable and annual instead of a monthly thing like the trash apps out there have. Bottom line: good for conducting seances when you need some unsettling ambiance, not so much for sleep perhaps. Maybe if more soothing sounds were implemented or maybe redone recordings and the oscillation effects to stop...always open to hear new sounds though. I don't plan on getting off premium, but I also don't think these sounds will help me sleep very much at night...I just find it funny how they managed to take all the sounds that kept me wide awake at night and out them in a sleeping app...too funny..😅😵.Version: 3.4

Only one decent songHardly any good free music, not everyone can afford a lullaby app for their kids ya know.Version: 3.7.3

NOT FreeThis app is not free. Don’t bother downloading if that’s what you’re looking for..Version: 3.9.3

Garbage appThis app was good before you had to pay. Now I can only get what they want me to hear. Just another app wanting your money. Garbage app. I don’t want to hear safari sounds..Version: 3.26.1

Subscription chargesOnce downloaded, the only option seems to be to accept the subscription charges. There’s no cancel button (privacy, terms, restore, or continue). Nonsense - you should need to opt in to charges..Version: 3.7.2

MehJust ok..Version: 3.22.3

White noiseFantastic app. Without this app I would not get any sleep. It was my saviour for my wee boy to finally go to sleep. I love it for myself too..Version: 3.6.3

Instant Deletion (Unexpected Scam)Being a free app offering almost laughably minimal software (oh, fancy, you can play various background noises like you can with many other legitimately free apps), I was unexpectedly and instantly met with the message that I had an option for a “7-day free trial”. After which, apparently, I’d be expected to pay $39/month or something, just to listen to the persistent sound of static... or whatever other noise options will surely be mentioned by some vague developer response in a poor attempt at mitigation. When you have a stupid product, expect disappointing reviews, my guy. (Side-note: gotta love how Apple’s rating system works. Looks like a highly-rated app.......... until you sort by “most recent” and are bombarded by legitimized one-star tirades.).Version: 3.7.2

Ridiculous priceWhat a scam. They say the app is free and then they need you to subscribe to pay over $50 per year. Plenty if free or affordable apps that do the same thing. Deleted it within 5 second of download..Version: 3.10.2

Overpriced scamFree for 7 days then $51 per year.Version: 3.14.0

Had hopes for fan noise...Why, why, WHY does the fan noise in this app have an obnoxious dead space in the playing of the sound like it is restarting a loop?! As an easily awakened light sleeper (the reason I need something making a constant, consistent sound), this second and a half of dead air periodically is so troubling and distracting from being able to stay peacefully asleep. I was hoping this app would not have a sound gap in the fan noise but unfortunately it is there...disappointed as the sound itself was strong and soothing until it jolts me back up with a sudden drop into silence then restarts the fan..Version: 3.7.3

A very angry momI downloaded this app out of curiosity and deleted it straight away as I was really bothered with the sounds. A fortnight later I was charged almost £40. Which is fair enough, as I didn’t read the small print. I have been using this app for quite a few months. And it had happen on several occasions when during the night the sound had cut off. But tonight it has gone again!!!!!! And it’s taken us over 3 hours to settle our baby! I am so furious! As it let us down extremely badly! Not a happy customer!!!!!!.Version: 3.9.3

Outrageous priceThis app costs $52 CAD per year, to imitate the sound of a fan I can buy at the hardware store for $10. What a ridiculous price. Unbelievable..Version: 3.7.4

Was great, now subscription modelYou’ll see this is a trend in the reviews… As far as functionality and sounds, this really is an excellent app. I’ve tried many white noise apps, and I do prefer the sounds on this app. That said, I preferred the old payment model and the ability to buy sound packs or do a one-time purchase. I understand needing to pay the dev team, but a sub model with a yearly fee of $40 per year is crazy to me, especially for those of us who only ever use a few sounds. Maybe there could be two sub levels—one for people who want access to all sounds, and one that gives people like 5 additional sound “unlocks”. Seems to me there are a significant number of reviewers saying the same thing. If they offered sound packs or dropped their sub price by 50%, I think they’d see a huge increase in number of subscribers which, in turn, would generate more income..Version: 3.18.4

Okay, but not remarkable - Ridiculous pricing modelThis is an okay App. It does what it says on the tin and plays background noise. It’s not particularly innovative, has no interesting or unique features and is not especially well designed or engineered. At best it’s a one-off £9.99 purchase, or perhaps a free down load with £0.99 in-App purchases, the idea that you can charge users over £40 a year for access to library of stork sounds is utterly hilarious and a little insulting. Another sad example of developers who don’t understand their customers attempting to jump on the subscription bandwagon..Version: 3.10.2

Good but way over pricedIt’s good but at $76 per year it’s completely outrageously over priced for what you get. Compare this price to other choices when it comes to white noise generators and you will see what I mean.Version: 3.2

The sounds are good but I wish you could do more with mixesI like the sounds but I think that you should be able to make more mixes and more sounds in a mix without having to pay. I get the fact that you have to make money, and I get having sounds that you have to pay for but I feel like you should be able to make two mixes free, and it would be fine if you could only make one mix but you should at least be able to mix more sounds in. Now I really do like the sounds and the way you can do mixes I just wish that you could add more tracks to the mixes.Version: 3.21.0

Be reasonableI am out of all for developers making a profit on a good product but seriously… $53 a year for white noise audio files?!? That is bananas..Version: 3.14.0

Annoying and irritatingI bought ‘premium’ features for this some years ago. £12 or so is not really cheap for an app. There’s nothing more annoying to have the app now swamped with more “premium” features than ever. And £39 every year for a subscription? It’s a joke. Alexa is now my goto app for sleep sounds, not a hugely expensive annoying app like this. Response to the Developer: Gee thanks for the helpful response. There’s nothing more annoying than an app you paid for STILL bombarding you with ads and ‘locked’ premium features. You should have created a new app for your subscription model, not just tagged on extra layers to your existing app. Anyway, as I said, using Alexa or similar is far far cheaper than £39 a year for an app that is swamped with ads for locked features. To the developer: You missed my point. I bought the premium features and then you added more, which are locked. To the developer: You missed the point again. You should have created a new app when you changed the payment model instead of adding paywalls to an app already purchased..Version: 3.24.3

Functional, but barely.Hidden behind a paywall with a clunky user interface. It does what it says, but has an unreasonable pricing strategy. It’s a waste of your time, and will attempt to take your money by charging you $50+ for an annual fee after a 7 day free trial. Predatory pricing!.Version: 3.11.0

App CrashesUpdated to the newest version December 2021 and now the app won’t even open on my phone. Really annoying since I even paid for premium access a few months ago..Version: 3.12.0

Ok but should be freeSounds are ok but why charge to listen to the rest? They can be found everywhere online. Just another money making app. Haha similar to $15 monthly just to tell you what a plant is. Joke.Version: 3.18.1

Used to love this but…I use this app every night without fail to go to sleep. Don’t think I could sleep without it now. But lately its repeatedly stopping and starting the mix at around 5am which wakes me up! Seems like some sort of bug issue? Please can you fix this! Help.Version: 3.22.3

Very restricted, insanely overpriced premium$52/ year for the premium!? Are you kidding me!? The app design is basic, the sounds are average, and the functionality is very limited in general, let alone in the free version, forcing an upgrade to a premium account at the cost of $52 annually. There are far better apps available for a one time purchases fee at a fraction of the cost. In fact, there are many other apps that are better designed with better functionality and that are free. There are even apps which do all of this, plus more, and include sleep tracking which coordinates with Apple’s health app... and some are even free. These developers are delusional if they believe their app is worth this. Do yourself a favour and use the Spotify app, search for sleep aid tracks / albums / playlists, and utilize their sleep timer..Version: 3.9.3

Charged my cardLiked the trial and use it only when travelling, was shocked to suddenly see a $55 charge on my credit card, when I have NEVER approved or upgraded my trial account. The app wasn’t even installed on my phone at the time!! Not initiated as an auto renewal either, really not happy that I now have to pay for something so expensive without my true consent..Version: 3.10.3

Disappointed they’ve moved to a subscription modelI bought this app over a year ago and used it frequently. I paid for the premium upgrade to unlock all the sounds. I hadn’t used it in a while, and upon loading it when traveling I found out that a lot of the sounds were locked again and I had to upgrade to the subscription version of $50 a year to continue to hear them. As a previous customer I was told that I could get a free year as a sort of consolation prize; but what I really want is all the old sounds back I paid for and there doesn’t seem to be any way to retrieve them. I really don’t care about all the new sounds they’re adding to justify the subscription model, so what would have been a five star review is now a three star review. I’m not sure what’s up with developers moving to these subscription pricing models. The last thing I need is another subscription, especially on something I thought I had already paid for. These subscriptions by themselves aren’t a lot of money, but they do add up with everyone seemingly moving to this model..Version: 3.6.3

Only lasts 8 hoursSound only lasts 8 hours! It’s impossible to get 8hours sleep within an exact 8hour timeframe. I actually need closer to 10hrs in bed to get 8hrs. And I have chronic illness so my sleep is important. And I didn’t realise when I used it for the first time last night and it woke me up at 5am when it turned off and I couldn’t get back to sleep, so this has deprived me of at least an hour or more of sleep that I desperately need. Edit: thank you to the app developer for your reply. One thing I noticed is that when viewing your app on an iPad (which is what I used), the 8 hour timer is not visible unless you click through to a different view. So perhaps work on getting that clearer to avoid disappointments similar to mine. Also I won’t be upgrading to a paid version as there are plenty of apps that have the brown noise that I use that are 100% free no matter what length of time..Version: 3.25.1

Free to download but notHey here’s a free app. not pay us 51$ a year to mimic a fan sound.Version: 3.10.3

It’s just not for me or my neiceI have always been the type to never really fall asleep And this app didn’t really help, I understand this is for baby’s but I consider myself to pretty much be a restless baby who cannot sleep the noises are always a little to harsh for me and I’ve even tried this app on a baby my neice and she instantly started crying don’t let me sway you try the app and see if it works for you or your infant.Version: 3.7.3
