✓ We want the old version!The latest update is an absolute UX disaster. You have a side menu of the navigation bar located on…the exact same navigation bar…LOL. After clicking into a specific game, all of the information available is piled onto one page, giving it a feel as that of a college kid’s project that was sloppily thrown together at the very last minute. All in all, this is an over complicated clutter that is an absolute nightmare to even attempt to read and navigate. Plus they took away the traditional odds section with graphs and percentages. I was as a big of a promoter as anyone but I cannot express enough how terrible of an experience this update is. Please change it back :(.Version: 4.2.3

✓ Rigged appThis app will not help you in any way win bets. First of all, their signals aren’t even accurate. Legally they don’t have to be so why expect it? Secondly, the all so famous “experts” they have. Majority of the time their best picks are completely garbage. I read this just yesterday…”the Yankees pitcher is TERRIBLE. The Rangers will CRUSH him and WIN EASILY. They use certain adjectives to get you to buy in to their picks. Rangers got 4 hits all game and scored 0. This happens every single day. It’s set up the exact same way a casino is. These experts get just enough right to not lose people on the app. A casino will allow you to win a small amount just so you will lose even more in the long run. And finally, sports betting is a multi billion dollar industry. Is it so hard to believe that they literally own action app and other apps like it? If action app was actually profitable for people there is no way the sportsbooks would allow you to sync up with them so easily. They do this because their “experts” are purposefully leading people away from a conclusion that has already been decided. Their signals are completely false. ✓ Developers Can’t Get Out of their own wayThis app used to be great but it’s heading the wrong direction. It used to be a key tool for comparing odds and finding the best lines across books. Unfortunately the developers are trying to make it a social media platform instead of a sports betting tool. The most recent update removed any ability to compare odds by book for multiple games at once. That’s the original reason I started using this app. Now you can only see the best odds by clicking in each game which completely destroys the point. Not to mention the “bet confirmation” is extremely annoying. You don’t need to shove the ability to share a bet down my throat. ✓ Great app stay away from proThis app is great for tracking your stats but don’t take betting advice from them. They got me hooked after recommending rahm for the masters Archangelo for Belmont and koepka for the us open. After that it’s been nearly a total drought and I’ve lost my winnings and then some. Also the pro picks have lost me money week after week. Signals change throughout the day so always wait until right before the game to bet. The systems are also very outdated most of them haven’t shown profits in the last few seasons. As for their pro betters only trust zerillo.Version: 5.8.0
✓ User for 3+ years, awful in the past 6 monthsAs soon as this app got really popular the quality has gone downhill. It seems like they shifted focus to affiliate and money-making techniques and not on user experience. Betsync would make this app phenomenal but it RARELY works. Clearly the 2FA from draftkings causes problems with syncing but it makes it unusable. The only solution is logging out, disconnecting Betsync, deleting the app and then logging back in etc. That should NOT be necessary every single day. I’ve paid for Pro previously but will be canceling due to how poor this is. I’ve reached out to support 2-3 times and get mediocre responses. FIX BETSYNC!!.Version: 5.8.0

✓ Great if it worked consistentlyI want to start by saying how much I love the action network and how much I want to give them 5-stars but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and they can’t get their product to work consistently enough that they actually deserve it. The app is buggy, slow, and often won’t let me sync my bets as promised. They fix the problem and then it happens again so suffice to say they don’t really fix their problems and get by on name alone. If they cared, they’d create a superior product and not rest on their laurels. I’ve since found a competitive product that works perfectly to track my bets and I hope they can get it together one day so that I can reconsider action..Version: 5.9.0
✓ Not enough capper linesI love the idea of being able to track bets separately from my book (this way I’m not constantly logging into my book to check) but there is all these rules of what you can and can’t do (live betting and keeping your bet verified), a lot of non U.S. sports are not even an option and only a few books let you sync between them. Lots of bugs in the app while following scores/games. A lot of the systems/projections/formulas are old, unreliable and who even knows if any of the projections are even accurate to any degree. This app needs a ton of work and I’ll assume it will get better over time but by then with all of these new sports books popping up this app will be irrelevant is my guess. ✓ Good tracking app, Pro subscription uselessI like this app. It’s easy to use and the live updates are good. I paid for the Pro Subscription to get access to their other features. Turns out there useless. 90% of their so called “Pro” systems are losing ones. The ROI percentages on almost all of them were successful from 2010 to 2017 but have been losing units the last 5-7 years. I emailed them multiple times if they ever planned on adjusting their systems or just canning them with no response. Example: NCAAB 1st under with high total, the books figured this out years ago, it’s lost half of it’s units since it’s inception on the site in 2010 but they refuse to remove it. Why? Im guessing because it still shows a positive ROI but it’s plummeted the past 5 years. Almost all of them have this same pattern. All of their systems peaked years ago and they haven’t updated/added any new ones. Their “Pro” articles are just a regurgitation of what their losing systems are predicting. Instead it prompts you to purchase a subscription when you’ve already done so. You then need to go log in through a browser in order to access the content. ✓ App freezing, links broken under “my action” screenIn general, this is a great app. But It has been horrendous for about the last week or so. I find myself constantly having to close it out and reopen it just to get things to load. Clicking on games under the ‘My Action’ page doesn’t always enter into the game details like it should. I am surprised these issues have not yet been addressed yet but hope they will soon. One other point... can we PLEASE get the ability to sort games based on a few options such as game time, # of bets placed, etc? I think this is necessary for NCAA football and basketball. Recognize that you have a degenerate group of users who just want to sort by game time so they can see when the next opportunity to put money anywhere but their own pocket will come about. Then go filter NCAAF by “All FBS” and see how challenging this is to navigate. In the words of Frank Costanza, “there has to be a better way”! Now if you want a real people pleaser, consider a “Games starting in the next 15 minutes” (maybe 30 min?) screen alongside the ‘Top Games’, ‘My Games’, etc. I once used a book that had this category of games and must admit that it was revolutionary..Version: 3.1.1

✓ Format okay, “experts” terribleHave had the pro-edge subscription for a year now, the app format is pretty good in the fact it shows who sharp and big money is on and who the “experts” are taking, although it doesnt update and is usually wrong - which is terrible especially right before a game. For example, it will tell you “big money” is on one team and the spread changes to show money is coming in on the other team. Obviously they arent updating the app or are incorectly showing which team is getting the money. Also, the “experts” are far from it... some give good info and stats to justify their pick, but others i would just do the opposite of whatever they say. Would never pay for the app again, but the free version may give some stats that could be useful..Version: 4.0.10

✓ BetSync screwed up resultsHave been enjoying Action app for several years. However, just tried BetSync for the first time, and it totally screwed up three years of good bet data. BetSync pulled in the dollar amount of my bets at the units, so one win was going to swing my units by plus or minus 75. Changed the unit size in my settings but didn’t adjust the bets that had already pulled in. Completely ridiculous that you can’t manually edit or delete bets pulled in through BetSync. Finally decided I might as well clear my bet history and start fresh since my profitability was meaningless now. Guess what - it deleted every bet except the BetSync bet, so now the bet tracking part of the app is basically worthless..Version: 4.3.1
✓ Good app, missing a few thingsApp is great for tracking picks and ROI. A few simple changes could go a long way. It seems difficult to search bettor profiles by sport type. When I go to the leaderboards for NFL I find that most of the players are terrible at the NFL but still are at the top of the leaderboards because of their win pct and roi from all sports. Why is there no way to simply filter for bettors by their win pct or ROI within a specific sport? Additionally, it feels like there are limited options to attract followers within your sport of focus. Why don’t you let amateurs write articles or compete in events? I would also encourage more intra player interactive functionality. Even something like chat rooms for each sport so players interested in a specific sport could post content and network with other players - could be a great feature and help make some of the above issues more tolerable. In summary, this is a great app to keep yourself organized with your bets and handicapping. Possibly the best app there is. However, if you wish to find other good bettors to follow - good luck digging the needle out of the haystack. Ans it is difficult to promote your picks within the community..Version: 5.0.7
✓ Great concept, horrible executionI heard about this app last year and started to use it a bit but it wasn’t until the start of the NFL playoffs this year that I began to consistently use it. I even got some friends on it too. We were all excited to have an easier way to track our picks and see each other’s picks as well. Yet shortly after using it for a while we realized how bad the app actually was. Scores of games come in late and it’s slow to update, but the most frustrating of all is it somehow messes up your performance across different sports. Me and my friends did some quick math and realized that our all time performance numbers were off as well as our 30 day numbers. It seems as if the app just makes up totals at times because when the math is done you see it’s just wrong. I really liked the idea of having all my picks in one place and not having to check scores of multiple games but this app could seriously be better..Version: 4.0.9

✓ Great app but…Great idea, fantastic information and resources. Not user friendly at all. Entering your bets takes forever and don’t make a mistake when you enter because changing them after you entered them is next to impossible. Some buttons don’t work, like the edit button. The app is hard to read, slow, the layout is confusing, and it takes a long time to figure out where everything is and why. Entering picks after the fact seems to be impossible too. I have some futures tickets I made earlier in the year on the Super Bowl I wanted to enter but if that’s possible, I have no idea how to do it. But it’s a great way to track good bettors and play along with their bets, as well as tracking your own. It gives you a chance to see how you line up with pros and good amateurs, and you can follow their strategies and learn from them..Version: 5.1.0

✓ Game alerts, odds, and sportsbook information unreliableThe game alerts for the app are bad. Half the time they don’t work when selected and hen the other half when you select a certain alert , then come back to the app it’s like you haven’t selected anything. You have to select the option and set it several times and then even then there is no guarantee that it works. They let you select specific sportsbooks odds but a little bit of research in shows those aren’t the actual odds from the books you think. You can’t trust that what you’re seeing are the books odds you expect. Then not all the features exist for all sports. You can’t get Moneyline / ticket information for all sports , something that’s been a “work in progress for years”. Then for sports like soccer , tennis and mma you have to jump through a lot of hoops on the app to find odds of some origin. When offering an app to help people make money decisions you need to be more consistent, reliable and transparent instead of just pumping out articles to get people to sign up through affiliate links..Version: 5.0.6
✓ Continuous Updates Degrade ProductI’ve had this app as a paid subscriber for 7 years now. The product used to be phenomenal. Now with each update and additional adds on every page, the app runs very sluggish and lags most of the time. Sharing picks with a group chat has also become cumbersome. We just want to share a screenshot of our picks. But with the constant updates, we now can’t do that without having to click links and go into the app. All for the sake of Ad Revenue. ✓ New player props section is beyond uselessThe Action app used to have a very good prop section but in one of the recent updates they removed it and now there are two prop sections that have the same thing, those letter graded (A+, B+, etc.) player props. The props in this section might as well be created from a random generator. Before the update the now removed player prop section used to be almost directly contradictory to this letter graded section. I would be surprised if that letter graded section even hit at a 40% rate. Reaching out to support about it has resulted in dismissive and meaningless responses. Not really sure why Action made such an unnecessary change but I won’t be renewing my subscription after this..Version: 4.3.6
✓ App Has taken Bad TurnI used to LOVE the SA app, but recently has taken a down turn technology wise. I still like the content they put out on insights for various games but I don’t trust the data anymore. I keep finding examples where data doesn’t make sense. It’ll say the ML is +155 one place and -110 for the same game on a different page. Or when you look at the percentages and sharp money should 18% on one side but the chart says 11% on the other side of the bet. Another huge pain point is that they took away BetSync which syncs you online book with the app. This made the app so much more usable. Every time I put my bets in I have to adjust the odds or the bet just isn’t available and the only solution is to get on a computer to manually type in a custom bet. I hope they are able to address these issues but until they do I’m not going to renew my premium subscription.Version: 3.3.4

Bet Labs and Sports Insights use to be reliable products. The Action Network has ruined both platforms. They get away with neglecting constant issues and glitches within Bet Labs because of a loyal user base that are left with minimal options available on the market. Their attempt to integrate Bet Labs systems into TAN app has failed miserably. TAN has been made aware of the issues by a countless number of customers and although we are told "fixes are on the way" we continue to be neglected on all fronts. ✓ 2 star averageI’ve given this a 2 star rating based on the following. The free version gets 4 and paid version gets 0, for an average of 2. The free version is fantastic for basic needs, however the paid or “pro” version is missing the most crucial thing a pro would expect. I got it for line movement alerts with threshold. Needless to say I was so disappointed when I found out there’s no price component to the spread settings so it’s completely worthless for NHL and MLB spread movements as those spreads never change but the price does. If anything they should pay us after the money thats been lost in a 7 month timespan. You’ll either thank me for the advice after a week of use and a losing record or you’ll go about your day and not waste your time after reading this.
