✓ Doesn’t function well for everyday useI don’t often write reviews but this app is disappointing. I can’t skip tracks from my Lock Screen, so have to open the app to change songs. It is also temperamental for just playing the next song in the queue. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. I just want to listen to my music but this app makes it more challenging. I may as well just use the preset equalisers that comes with Apple Music..Version: 4.8.0

Initially it seems fine and i sorted the access to the music on my phone for the app. Then when I try to open the app I get black screen with the eq music logo which stays for about ten seconds and then the app closes. ✓ It never even worked once.I have an iPhone X and after installing the app I let it link to iTunes. Then it crashed. Then I tried it again. Then it came up as loading with me seeing the nifty logo. Then it crashed again. I restarted my phone and tried it again. It crashed at the same logo screen. My phone is completely up to date in regards to the iOS updates and everything other app works fine. I hope you do X whatever the issue is. It’s a funny that I downloaded the app specifically because I found reviews that said it was the best app to enhance my music on my iPhone. I couldn’t even play two songs that I did buy and weren’t DRM protected because the it stopped working properly and just didn’t play any sound at all. ✓ 3.5 not the total packageIt's like the designers put all their effort into the EQ and once they felt it was good enough, they just left the other features as bland as they could. The EQ itself is really good for a digital EQ designed for headphones and bluetooth speakers. I feel like it's 2 bands short of greatness. 48, 150, 400, 756, 2.4k, 6k, 15k would be amazing control and really make this EQ more functional for a larger variety of speaker. Base booster is strong. Make sure you start with it turned down and ease into it because smaller speakers certainly can't handle it. My car subs handled it fine without distortion until the volume was at a level I would never listen to anyway. Now, my biggest disappointment is that the app seems to be missing a few simple finishing touches (I'm not a programmer so just seems simple to me). Just seems unfinished! The visualizer is almost pegged at every volume and does not appear to operate with the music at all. It's also a very bland design and not pleasing at all. I would leave off this feature before I put this half hearted attempt in the app. If it's gonna be on there it should at least work and add to the experience. Maybe have 3 different settings included and add others as a $.99 add-on. Also would like to see customized setting for colors. Tennessee orange is just terrible. ✓ TerribleThere is lack of numbers everywhere On the bass booster tab it does not give a percentage for example 100% would be the level of the song and 200% would be double that don't exist. There is also no reset button for that tab. On the equaliser tab there are 5 sliders does not show db for example 0 would be songs and then + or - would be your change. It also doesn't show what frequency's are or are not being increased or decreased. The app allows clipping which is terrible and needs to be fixed right away. Add in these and i might reconsider using it. Option to increase number of equaliser sliders and set what frequency gets changed. Add in a percentage on the bass booster tab as well as a reset button. Add in db values so i know how much i have boosted or dropped the values by. Fix the clipping either have the entire thing lowered in volume to stop clipping or have it so the sliders are automatically adjusted without changing what has been set so it doesn't clip but you still see it at full. Thankfully there is a trial and so i could stop the subscription..Version: 2.3

So far I have found one. This is no exception. However what made this one particular irksome was the need to subscribe before getting your three free trial days; forget to cancel within three days and you’d get stung for the default yearly £44. Note: you can do less time but the app defaults to a year. So firstly the app doesn’t work with Apple Music and secondly if you forget to cancel you’d be stuck with an expensive waste of storage. ✓ All good but…I liked the program but there are some bugs with it. When I use it in my car where I primarily listen to music, it will not play the next track without me pushing the next track button. I run it through CarPlay which I use in my work. Secondly if the GPS announces turn directions it sometimes causes the music to pause. If you hit resume it starts the song over. I also use dictation a lot as I work in my car, and it does the same thing if I do this. The only other thing is minor but I wish there were better visualizations with the visualizer. In the App Store it made it seem like they were better than what it is but again that’s minor. Hopefully these other issues can be fixed as I paid the 20 lifetime subscription..Version: 4.8.1

When you do select an artist, you get a list of every song that you now have to scroll through. I know you don’t want to copy apple but the way they do their library is very intuitive and easy to navigate If there is a way to change it in the app, it’s difficult to find. Quirky things: To contact support, no address shows up in the To field Playlists: app decides on its own to create a playlist of recently played songs. ✓ The worst app I have ever downloadedImmediately into opening the app I am greeted with a “free trial” screen which in the fine print it says you have to cancel at least 24 hours before the free trials ends, which is THREE DAYS, in order to not be charged. After agreeing to the free trial, the app opens to dark gray screens with nothing on them. You also can’t upload your own videos. ✓ Horribly designed for iphone seI have an iphone se, and usually this isnt a problem with apps because developers can format the graphics of their apps to be compatible with different phones. This app has clearly not been formatted to suit the iphone se, and i literally cant use the app because of it. I open it up and things already look squashed together with text overlapping and buttons taking up half the screen. Because it is the first time opening the app, it takes you through a short guide to the app followed by the option to purchase “vip experience” or something like that. I do not wish to buy “vip experience”, and even if I did I am unable to continue with the purchase because in-app purchases are not allowed on my phone. But surely there should be an option to skip the vip purchase and continue without it, right? Where is the button for that? The way the the app is designed means that the button to skip the purchase is off of the page. In order to see it, I have to scroll down, but if I let go then the scroll resets and I can’t see the button anymore, and I can’t click the button while holding the scroll down because that would require me to let go of the scroll, which hides the button. I am literally not able to use this app. I know the iphone SE might be a bit outdated, but please be considerate of those who use older phones, because bad formatting can make an app unusable..Version: 4.6.4
