✓ In the beginning.......I really enjoyed the game. Spent a lot of time playing. Then you notice things. The gem wheel doesn’t always work and I’ve only gotten one jackpot with all the spins. If you keep so many constant sub games going i.e., the cruise ship, helicopter, races, and other things, you can’t play decently. Since you added the ether thing, which I don’t like because it eliminates the reef, I don’t play as much. Combining the helicopter orders and ether is horrible. I don’t do either now. Also! The game takes away things you produce and need for the spa and cave. I can have them all ready the night before and the next morning they are gone. Why are you stealing things? Reaching each expansion area requirements is really sad. It takes forever to get everything you need. The same with the expansion of the silo and boathouse. All about buying those gems. I will not recommend this game because of the gem pushing. People don’t have the money. The huge numbers you need to level up is not conducive to enjoyment either. Better explanations are needed when you introduce something new. It takes awhile to figure it out and the sub game is half over AND you don’t get the materials you need in a timely fashion to do anything. ✓ Over the glitchesIve been playing this game since it first came out and I love it but for the past 6 months its been a nightmare. Crops and trees disappear, zemis gifts have to be claimed twice before it registers then when you get right to the end it says you have missed a day and restarts, chat still doesnt work so its impossible to let others in your team know what you need. Can’t visit friends to help them out even when they have updated to the same version of the game that you are on. ✓ Love it but...This is my favorite game hands down and I have a ton that I play. However I would give a 5 star review if the coins were changed up a bit. Coins are somewhat difficult to acquire not at first but further in. Over 100,000 coins for one place and then you spend weeks or months trying to get enough for the next building. I would spend actual money to even buy them but it isn’t worth it. $9.99 for 10,400 coins which seems like a lot but it’s not when things are way way way much more than that. Doesn’t really help. The rest of the game is fantastic. I love the new cruise ship type games these are my favorite and all in all this is an amazing way to pass the time and it’s fun. Very addicting. Gems should be more available and stuff shouldn’t cost so much such as buildings in game and the coins to purchase for real money. ✓ Starts out fun, but the cheaters win all the good stuffThis game started out fun, but once you moved up enough to compete in the mandatory tournaments, you butted up against cheaters who would always grab all of the top prizes. Many people complain loudly to Zynga, but "we're looking into it" was the response you'd get & the same cheaters would show up week after week. The other really bad thing about this game is the slow roll out of stuff. Some people weren't part of the bigger tournaments for 6 months & they still only have 2 sunken treasures to dive for, while others have 3. The Mothers Day event didn't even get rolled out to everyone before it was over. The game encourages you to spend lots of money for tournaments & events, which is fine until you realize no matter how much you spend, your scores can't catch the cheaters who've learned to Clone expensive items and the valuable boosts, as well as give themselves unlimited gems. ✓ Mobile dataI went away for a small trip but was unable to play due to it saying I was offline even though I had mobile data enabled. I was away for a week and was removed from my club that I’d help built up and missed out on all the rewards. As soon as I was back home on my wifi it was fine. This has taken a lot of fun out of it as I’ve had to join a different club now. Also please can we have expansions or something new. ✓ Tired of ads and global offerings from other playersTired of watching same ads over and over when spinning for extra prizes...plus been playing now for over five years between this game and FarmVille 2 and have never hit jackpot..lots of other players have told me same thing of never hitting jackpot...getting tired of always coming up short of main ingredient needing to fulfill items (mostly vanilla) and not even on spinning wheel for chance to win some...I am off and on all day being retired and see same players globally offering same items up for sale and seeing them sold out before being posted..just don’t understand then why are they being posted...think it is past time for this company to look harder at this game and revise some of their software...also when they do update sometimes it takes me two to 19 days to get back on...plus why can’t club member offer items for club members only...have that in FarmVille 2 but not here ..also think they should allow that for shovels and sand dollars as well as diamonds inside each of the clubs...I am on SSI so purchasing blue diamonds just not in my budget but if club members willing share how can they......Version: 1.72.5113
✓ Great gameI love the game but I do think the animal habitats should be easier to buy then just with the red,silver and gold tokens, or at least you should get by them easier then just with helicopter orders or selling photos. I think they cost that many tokens so you have to buy them with actual money and I think that’s wrong. As the tokens are also the only way to buy the food the animals eat..Version: 1.31.1365
✓ Fun game with a few glitchesI’ve been playing the game for a few months now. I really enjoy it, and I think it’s a great game, but it’s pretty glitchy. It regularly restarts itself when I’m in the middle of doing something. The last update was horrible. Right in the middle of a cruise, the cruise ship disappeared so my entire club was unable to complete orders. We had all worked very hard and put lots of time, money, and game resources into reaching first place in the cruise competition, and then lost everything with the new update. Incredibly frustrating, especially for those of us who had spent real money in the game. With the new update, many of us also lost a lot of the resources we had collected. Randomly disappeared from our boathouses. Up until the recent update, the game has been great about 70% of the time, when it’s not glitching. I warn against putting real money into the game, though, because lately it hasn’t been reliable, and you might end up just wasting your money as many in my club did..Version: 1.59.4366

✓ DON’T PLAY THIS GAMEZynga’s single mission is to make money. If you don’t have many hundreds of dollars to spend don’t even think of starting to play this game. If you have already started playing, take weekly screenshots of all the valuables in your account. If your account crashes and you don’t have screenshots Zynga will not reinstate what you’ve worked hours upon hours upon hours to earn. And if you play long enough I promise your account will crash. My island has been rebuilt 3 times. My teammate is currently having her island rebuilt for the 4th time! and she will lose months of hard work and progress because Zynga’s default is to think their players are liars and they will not only reinstate her progress to her last screenshots which was months ago. Zynga should learn about customer service from companies like Target, Costco, and Starbucks who by default believe their customers. ✓ Too many bugsWay too many issues with this game. I recently tried to get back into it like 2 years after I first started found that it had erased my previous progress (I had reached level 45) but I just restarted anyway. Then some bugs came up when I reached level 22 so I reinstalled it thinking it would fix it but instead it erased my progress AGAIN and I was back to square one. The support team tried their best to help (I think) but nothing worked and they just left it. I couldn’t log into my Facebook account or Game Centre and my friends couldn’t visit my island. I just restarted again and kept playing and had reached level 24, when I downloaded the new update and now the game won’t even load. So I over it lol. ✓ Awesome GameI have played this game for over a year, and I love building items and such! However most of the time the game runs extremely slow, it boots you off the game a lot, and the Cruise Ship needs to come up with different visitors instead of keep doing the few over and over. It would be even more fun if the developers would come up with a way to expand our island more for those of us at the higher levels and to be able to build bungalows, and have people walking around our island and when clicked onto them we get coins or some prize items like quicksand....sunshine’s that would make the game more interesting once you get to a higher level. Also it would be nice if the developers would remove players who are cheating on the game, that is very frustrating! ✓ Join a club at your own perilI used to love this game, but joining clubs has taken the fun out of it. Some clubs are taking this game way too seriously. I have been removed from 3 different clubs because; 1. I didn’t make mindless chit chat with complete strangers every 8 hours (I work 8 hours and spend a total of 3 hours commuting, makes it hard), 2. I didn’t get prior permission to use a boost 3. I asked for helicopter help during the cruise ship comp. Not joining a club means I can’t participate in challenges but joining clubs is stressful. ✓ Falsely accuse some as cheatersI used to love this game but I retired so I was able to play it much more than when I work. Zynga’s game play people/system? picked this up as cheating. I have contacted them numerous times and they will not change my game mode to have all aspects of the game. I can’t contact my beach club through chat, I can’t buy or sell anything in the market I can’t run any boosts and cannot participate in tournaments. I can’t get through their thick skulls that I in no way cheated…when you contact zynga all you receive are automated responses in return. I couldn’t even win tournaments before the block. I just got on their game and played more than what I had prior to retirement! Not sure what system they use to detect ‘irregular’ game play but it isn’t catching the real cheaters!!! ✓ Crashes repeatedlyI have played this game on and off for a while and it has been quite entertaining. However, I have been unable to play at all for a few days as when I open the game, it starts running through this new Trireme event or whatever it’s called, gets to a certain point and then crashes. I’ve tried switching off and on my device, reinstalling etc, but it just crashes and crashes. And there’s no option to not play the event, it just automatically goes to it. Very bad game design. ✓ Getting boredI enjoy the game for the most part, but it is getting boring. All you seem to do now is make and sell. Now when I level up there is nothing new. The monkey house and the falls say they’re coming soon, but that’s been over year now. When playing an event, it is never for a permanent helping hand it’s always temporary. The game often has glitches. At times you’re not able to visit other peoples beaches to help, it says nobody’s home even though you are chatting with them. That’s just one of the problems. When sending an issue to Zynga you get the same canned letter every time, very rarely do get a response back. If you do they usually are telling you to do what you have already done to correct the problem. Then they will send you a survey to rate their service. The weekly tournaments are a joke. There are so many cheaters it’s impossible to win. People have been reported and yet nothing seems to happen and the cheating continues. I find this very discouraging. ✓ Cruise shipI have been having problems with the cruise ship for over 2 months. I cannot access visitors. When it does allowed me to do so and it’s once if that, rarely twice during the time the ship is in port I cannot access them again. I have tried different things from uninstalling the app and doing everything they have suggested and still cannot get it to work. I have been contacting ZYNGA for the past weeks and I get the same message “our team is a aware of this issue and we are now working on a fix” How long does it take? I cannot help my club members, there’s no enjoyment in taking part of that event. Why put something out that it’s not completely functional or still have some kinks in it. If there is no fixing, can’t figure it out whatever the reason is then take it OUT! There’s others things that they could change. Somethings take to long to make, the skycliff takes Way too long so does the Merchants ship as well as other things. ✓ Pay to PlayI started off really enjoying Tropic Escape until I began to level up. It was simple and fun but then became very slow to progress. Unless you pay real money for gems or sand dollars or any of the other many in-game currency systems, you’ll be waiting forever to meet your goals and complete tasks/challenges. Some items need to be processed on 3 different machines just to be created and you can’t upgrade these work stations without paying money for gems (earning gems in the game is possible but takes a long time). On the other hand, every time you level up there’s constant new features and tasks being thrown at you to the point where you will fall behind because there is so much to do at once. Some players may like this but I personally did not. There are too many different types of machines/work stations, craftable items, crops, game locations, and challenges/missions. They also make it nearly impossible to find/earn the right items to upgrade your storage or increase your playable area, further slowing you down in the game. However some of the events are made too difficult to those who haven’t got £ to put into the game making it hard to win competitions against other players. ✓ Fun if your patient.Starts of great but then a lot of these farming type games do but then (as with all freemium games so it wasn’t unexpected) you’ll find yourself doing the weekly events for ages because expanding the playing area takes fooooorever unless your prepared to dig deep. Already I find some stuff taking 2 hours to make which isn’t really much good when your up against timed events and you’d think “I know, I’ll make stuff when there’s not much in the way of events going on” except you’ll find yourself running out of space to store stuff (yet again unless you dig deep) and events are going on all the time so you don’t often get to make stuff ready for later anyway. There’s also the orders board, helicopter celeb orders and other mission type things to do. All in all there can be a lot to do but it’s very much rinse and repeat and everything is based around those annoying, and nigh on impossible to get, gems. It feels very much a Facebook game to me which can either be a good thing or bad, that’ll be for you to decide. For me it was short lived and became a touch mind numbing. ✓ Pretty game but …As newbies our team gets badly beaten every time by all the max-level teams they throw at us in Cruises (main event of the game) so no point playing anymore after the first round. Support says the matchings are random. However giving us all low reward (under 200) tasks while the experienced teams are favoured with high point ones (400-800), even double points for doing the same tasks (!!!), is *not random but an ongoing game flaw. ✓ FarmVille Tropic EscapeI have been playing for a couple of years now. In the beginning the game was fun and I gave it a five star rating. Now I am getting annoyed. There are five different games going on within Tropic Escape I hate the new stage game. I love the cruises. I hate the pirate bootey game it’s annoying and the falls were you earn the lava rocks I wouldn’t be upset if that went away. The worst thing about the game is when you have worked super hard and spent money to buy gems to move up to the diamond league in the weekly resort tournament you still get demoted if you end up in the last three places of which there are only twelve places in that league to end up in. Some weeks I can’t devote that much time and effort to play the weekly resort tournament.. there has to be a way to keep us long term players happy. Perhaps you could have an opt out button you could click to opt out of the tournament for that week but still keep the rank you have earned or and this would be the best option...if you reach the diamond league you would be safe and no longer have to “fight” to keep your rank Thanks for listening.Version: 1.79.5636
✓ Lost progressI came back to this game after getting bored with how slow the progress is unless you want to play 24/7 or spend a fortune buying gems. It was fine for a while and my data was re uploaded so I could continue from the point I left off but one day it randomly froze while loading the game and wouldn’t complete the initialising phase no matter how long I left it. I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling but now it won’t link the old data and I have to start from scratch which is infuriating as I was almost up to level 27. Crap system. ✓ Fraud/theftPlayed this game since it started, I actually really enjoy it. I’ve previously lost 2 islands to updates, which I had spent an absolute fortune on in app purchases on both islands. When the app updates you can’t get in your island and need to delete app and restart. Zynga won’t ever respond because they have had your money, they don’t give a hoot about helping you get back in to the game. So the island I am currently on is my third attempt, spent £9.99 on an in app purchase and didn’t receive the credits despite the money being taken from my card straight away and having a reciept from apple. Tried to get zynga customer service, no one responds. Am absolutely disgusted by zynga, it’s pretty much fraud or theft. Going to have to go down the route of completing a fraud claim from my bank. Bit of a nightmare for less than a tenner but I’m not having it this time. The game is fun, you will enjoy it. ✓ Love the game but glitches and needs updatingI always play this game, but I can’t seem to get past the “Update Now” screen as I’ve completely upgraded the game. ✓ No rewards for winning- don’t bother tryingBeen playing this game for over a year or so now. No matter what level you reach, or how much money you spend to try and win rounds or the tournament, you never get any good boosts as a reward. I just won first place in the tournament and only got a few common experience point boosts but not one timer. I’ve complained to Zynga many times about how unfair it is that our club wins the cruise contest and how I would place first in the tournament and yet I get absolutely no good timer boosts. It’s been a month or so now and I think I’ve gotten a handful of common boosts that don’t give any points hardly because they’re like the palm tree or the mango tree or the chicken. The game has become very frustrating because no matter how well you do, you get no rewards. Also I want is for you to spend money to buy diamonds to try and win and then when you do you still don’t get nothing. So if you haven’t gotten started in the game, don’t bother getting invested in it because it’s only gonna cost you money and you’re not gaining anything. ✓ Love the game but needs some changesI love this game, but things need to change.... like they use the same events, make something new, and when you do use the same events make the prizes different, and add the prize from before! Same with cruises, and with each cruise you should have decorations for your island to win, just like with an event. And you should definitely add a kiwi plant 😜 and add more places like hot springs and the cave, and what is moko the monkey and when is it coming out? I want some change! Bring back the sea turtle event!!! And add more decor that you can buy with gems when events come! And with some events, don’t just give an animal that gives an hour of sunshine add to that, and let us keep the animal! You could also give everyone another island that is the same as the one we already have but you can put decor, stores, plants, and animals on it! ✓ Update has ruined the gameI was really enjoying this game and suddenly a screen come up telling me to update. I went to the App Store and there was no option to update just to open the app. I can’t load the game to get into it, it just asks me to update, goes to the App Store, says open and goes back to the game telling me to update again. Boosts I earn don’t always show up in the boost bank and sometimes when I use them I click on them and they just disappear and never activate. Also compasses are very hard to come by often which makes it extremely difficult to expand. Also the monetary value spent of the things is a little much. I feel like you idle play a lot just to wait on collecting an insane amount of coins or shells. Also when earning diamonds when you click on the house to see when you earn them again they do not count accurately. I’ve sold numerous items on the boat and yet the count doesn’t go up towards the next goal. I’m at level 26 and while I want to keep playing I find myself getting annoyed easier. ✓ Great game overall…some lousy/annoying aspectsThis is a fun game to pass time. The game itself is great, but sometimes it’s annoying when the cruise is there or another mini game that requires your club to participate and most people don’t play; it’ll be the same handful of players that play and you end up not meeting goals. Also, other mini games you have to win 5 levels to get the good rewards and sometimes that’s difficult to win all five…you should be able to get a guest or something if you win four. I also think that some of the weekly tournaments are cheat accounts. If it wasn’t for that, I’d give five stars. The one mini game with the submarine is probably the best mini game. ✓ So disappointingI have played this game for years off and on but am becoming completely disappointed. An item taking over an hour to complete is ridiculous. The payoff for your constant playing is way low, do we not mean anything to you? It took 3 hours for 6 items to make, sent it off, got 5 feed for mystical animal, really??? I was able to get to within 3 food points on one of the animals only to have it leave my island, really? You can’t offer to keep it around for 10 gems? What’s with the 59 total points when the most I can make on an order is 5?? You offer to keep the animals around with the tagging of the dolphins, of course the spend gems option didn’t work so lost that animal as well. Very Disappointed with the current events. Another thing, coops that are no longer active are never removed. When I first joined I didn’t know anything about coops. ✓ Horrible unfair game!Honestly, this is probably the worst game of this kind that ive ever played. Not cause of the graphics or the concept of the game, but because how obvious pay to win this game is. So, here’s my issue. The boathouse gets filled up very quickly and you need a few things to upgrade it, including a part called Pulley. Its nearly impossible to get one. I need 2 to upgrade but i can never get a second one and when someone tries to sell me one the item gets sold before i can even see it, i mean, not even half a second and it sold. The developers need to figure out a way to where friends in a team can sell items within each other instead of putting everything global. Whats even worse that that its when your Silo is also full. Now you have to upgrade both the boathouse and Silo and the parts you need are impossible to find. The only way to get it is by luck (after weeks of trying) or by paying real money. I absolutely despise being forced to pay money to move on in a game. The only thing to do in this game is selling your goods and that’s pretty much it. ✓ Neither or Nor...Tropic Escape is a alright game but I am quite upset because of one of the actions the game has made. On this so called fantastic game I left the game for a few hours. When I came back I found out I was removed from the Beach Club chat even though the game had told me to go on it. For me the highlight of the game. When I tried to join back on to the chat it was full! If you see this developers please tell me why I was removed from it. Download if you don’t want to do chat groups but if you want to their are more better options. Recommended for those who don’t want chat groups. Not recommend for those who do. P.S While I was on the chat group, I saw people could remove you from chat. Not the best game if you want the honest truth. ✓ SO MANY ERRORSI just finished round one of the turtle season and when it came up with the message saying it will be back in one day, everything I was making, cooking and growing, the time turned from minutes and seconds left into 1 hour plus more minutes left. Even pineapples which take seconds to grow now take an hour. So I can’t really do anything in the game for over an hour. Before the time turned to 1 hour for everything, it showed that every item was made, cooked, grown and that the helpers found everything before time was up but I couldn’t tap on anything. So I closed and re-opened the App and that’s when everything said it was an 1h + time when things will be ready. There are many more errors but too much to put here. There is no support email for this game to directly tell about errors or glitches and such. ✓ Devoted Player, but losing patienceI’m posting this here because I have nowhere else to go! My blue gems are disappearing constantly. I earn them and then they disappear. The game has taken roughly 50 gems from me. It’s aggravating that there is nowhere to report technical issues. A few years ago, I was on level 85. Then I was kicked out of my game and sent back to level one. I searched everywhere for answers and couldn’t even report the problem, so I stopped playing for about 2 years. Loved this game and was so excited for the bongos and the new island and the new decos but when I tried to play it kept resetting to 0 after I would fill a ton of feed orders so I went to check the blog. I told the “helpers” and the company response was to present a cerberus that needed 66 feeds. Sorry I invested any time in the new feature and every member of my group says they just ignore most of the “new” or “extra” stuff. Well it is nothing but demotions and a complete exercise in frustration mostly but I am such an optimist that I just wish they would even try to play the game themselves so they can see why the players are so unhappy with the gameplay because this stuff is fixable but they are unresponsive to players concerns or just downright mean spirited. Not much a player can do but give up on the futility of enjoying the drudge aspect of all stick and no carrot. Tired of feeding the komodo dragon and thought it was about escaping to tropical fun and games. ✓ Decent...if you’re patient.It’s a reasonably good game, although it is a rehash of every other FarmVille game, so be prepared for variations on a theme. The annoying part is that it has been constructed to lure you into spending quite a lot of money. You don’t have to: it is unnecessary and to me, doesn’t really add anything to the game play. But very quickly you reach a level where you start getting quests to do things that you can’t do until the next level... or you spend gems (RL money). At one point I had 6 quests that I couldn’t complete, and nothing to do but spend gems, or spend a few days just completing boring tasks for xp. If you buy shops, it takes hours, and eventually DAYS, for them to open. Or spend gems to ‘open now!’ The worst was the wildlife centre. I reached the appropriate level, then had to wait 2 WEEKS to open it. Or spend gems. In short, it’s fine, but if you aren’t a patient sort, you’ll spend a fortune. It has too many in game games that compete for resources and event supplies are provided in such a way that the most needed resource is the most scarce and the least needed is over supplied.
