✓ It’s goodI got this a few weeks ago and card turned up fairly quickly. One problem I have is that I have sent (multiple times) stellar lumens from my wallet to Wirex and it never came through on all occasions. I only sent small amounts because I feared this may happen. I sent a small amount of Ethereum and it turned up fine with no isssues.? Not sure if this is a bug or if I did something wrong. I am also reluctant to use this in New Zealand (my country) because I don’t know how paying extra tax works with this. Hopefully in the future after some updating + when government knows what they are doing it will be used more widely in my country. I also have used the card and can verify it works for making transactions. I have not tried on ATM (for tax reasons) and you need to make sure the eftpos machine accepts international cards as this comes up as one..Version: 3.22.1

✓ Useless SupportIn principle it’s not bad. But, I’ve had numerous problems logging in as have many other people when they decided to do server maintenance in the middle of the day. The support staff you can chat with in the app are utterly useless, move you around from pillar to post and emailing support is just as much of a waste of time. They boast they have 2 million users on their Twitter page, which is equally as uninformative. I did have a reasonable amount of cryptocurrencies in my Wirex account, but I’ve move it out, I don’t trust them with my money. Although you can move cryptos in and out you can’t transfer fiat, you can only spend what’s on your card and that only takes a maximum of £7500. Sorry Wirex, but you haven’t got it right yet and your staff are rude, useless and clearly badly trained. I invited someone from Wirex to contact me with an explanation and offer of compensation for all the trouble you’ve put me through. This is not the account I use to login by the way. Verification was simple however, I missed the address verification stage which was frustrating but technically my fault. There is strict compliance needed with the proof of address. I will be contacting the financial ombudsman in the UK and the process moving as there are illegalities around a this. Update they have now blocked my account and when contacting them there they are not resolving the issues. They are now illegally withholding funds. ✓ UPDATE , much betterUPDATE** they have improved the service greatly and the new card was free for me as i bought the old one previously. the rates to top up from my bank card to ltc are pretty good. i definitely recommend the app now. When transferring bitcoins to your card balance, they charge a much stronger rate then the current rate. Basically giving you less fiat currency than you are supposed to get. When i transferred money from my card balance to my bitcoin wallet, they charged a much weaker rate - essentially meaning my gbp currency is weak and would need more of them to get the exact same bitcoin balance i started with! Bear in mind i did these two transactions right after each other. For example if the current btc/gbp rate is 5500, they will give you a rate of 5200 when converting from bitcoins to gbp and they will give a rate of 5800 when converting from gbp to bitcoins. This company tried really hard to hide this and when i confronted them with this they just said that the rate is always changing. Please avoid!!! You will lose money!! They literally steal like 5% if your money giving you less £ that you should get. They stole around £30 off me..Version: 2.2.16

It’s very easy to use, low fees (£1/month for the card) about a 2% margin on Bitcoin/Litecoin price. No exchange fees and what’s best! CryptoBack. Yes it’s peanuts, but 0.5% is better than 0 back in Bitcoin for every time you use your card in store. Just put your weekly shopping on the card and you’ll be surprised how much that little % adds up! Amazed that they also use SegWit addresses for both Bitcoin and Litecoin, so low blockchain fees too. Their customer support is very good and the ease of getting cards, using the app and overall just great. Only gripe: When using desktop to transfer from exchange to Wirex, when I copy the Wirex address to paste to the exchange withdrawal screen, it also copies the ‘Destination Tag’.
