Microsoft SharePoint for Negative User Reviews

Cannot log into sharepoint!!I was able to log into my sharepoint server but now it continuously asks me for credentials for other accounts that are no longer active. I am able to log into the sharepoint using my main account, but it quickly takes me back to the sign in page and it still remembers my old account which prevents me from accessing my site. How can I remove old accounts so it doesn’t do this?.Version: 4.17.0

Still awfulI used this app a couple of years ago but gave up with it. How can it still be so bad? When I go to save an image to the Files app, it saves it as a .txt file. However, from the ‘Activity’ section you can actually save images to the Photos app. What a joke..Version: 4.49.0

Doesn’t cope with updatesEvery time an update is made, I have to delete and download the app. So, basically at least 2x a month I need to delete and reinstall the app if I want to see the updates my colleagues made. Getting tired of doing this. :(.Version: 4.49.0

Cant upload pictureI am stunned that I cannot upload a picture when I’m looking at a folder in SharePoint I can create a new folder but I can’t conceivably upload any files/pictures to it. Also from my photos I don’t seem to have a SharePoint option for sharing there either so I am a little bewildered as to how this very core functionality is lacking and it needs to be fixed immediately!.Version: 4.27.0

List views don’t workList views don’t work at all, meaning some of our lists are unusable. Get your act together Microsoft..Version: 3.18.0

Crashes constantlyThe SharePoint app crashes constantly, making it basically unusable. Only way to access SharePoint on an iPad is by logging in via Edge. Other MS apps work really well..Version: 4.41.3

Remove SharePoint! When on Intranet page the My Mail icon has disappeared Pressing … symbol at top of page where My Mail icon used to be causes Share Point page to fill screen. I do not use this page nor want this page. How can I remove it? Jillian Ede.Version: 3.10.0

Epic fail last 2 updatesI’m an electrician and I use my iPad the update cads that my company uses to wire houses. Just over the last two days of updates all of the things I was using to make changes are gone. Is there any way you guys can fix this. You asked for more information. Before the update there was tab that would drop down and I would pick the pen thing and that would drop down a list of things I could to my cad, like installing text or I could write on the cad like a pen. This is now gone after the update. It’s putting me in a real bind right now as I’m in the middle of 3 projects that needs this program. Can you guys please fix this..Version: 4.3.0

Redirects you to website for upload or downloadYou know how it’s called SharePoint and it’s for sharing files? Seems like I’m adding a step by opening this app that only redirects me to the website to download the actual files. This becomes an actual app when that ability is added, until then I’ll just be going straight to the website like before..Version: 4.33.1

Doesn’t open my company’s Team siteUsed to work fairly well but now you can’t access files or your Team site. Been like this a while??.Version: 4.48.1

Microsoft = No Support + MANY compromised account issuesI lost my pricey Office 365+++ highest tier account along with at least five other paid for accounts. No support number. When I call customer support could care less. Stolen domain(s) and accounts. Loss of important and private information. Not okay. Email support is ridiculous, it is NOT the 1990’s. Whom can I contact in the USA via phone who speaks fluent English to help? Guessing nobody. Thanks to whomever took the very little bit of money I had and continues to abuse their personal gains. No excuses. Microsoft = No Support + MANY compromised account issues.Version: 4.17.0

Never works quite rightWhy don’t you just copy Dropbox? I use Dropbox extensively for personal use but for business I am forced to use SharePoint. But what a horrible product it is in comparison. It comes close but just falls down on useability time and time again..Version: 3.12.0

How does such a big company get UI so wrong.Incredibly unintuitive interface, nothing works as you’d expect it to. You have to relearn how to operate this app. For instance, if you’re browsing files and tap the back button, you don’t go back a directory, it takes you out of the file viewer. If you open an image there is no way to save it to your phone, only view it. So many more examples, the absolute worst in the game. I believe the only reason this is used is because it’s free with an office subscription..Version: 4.41.3

Icons are earfulYour new icons are ugly. They look incomplete with the white background. Would have been better if you used a different background color maybe a different shade of the main icon color..Version: 4.9.0

Used to be good when login workedFor months I have not been able to login. As I start entering my email address, a new screen appears with a new login prompt. I enter my email and receive a generic error popup telling me to try later. I have tried several times over the last few months without success. Today I deleted and reinstalled the app with no luck. Other Microsoft apps work perfectly; this is the only one with login problems. I will try again in a month or so and see if Microsoft has fixed the bug. If so, I will update my rating..Version: 4.30.0

Sync is slowI love the improvements, but the sync is laggy, which means that it’s not seem less with pc to phone.Version: 4.20.0

Account issuesEver since the update a few months ago, the app is somehow tied to an old work account I don’t use. I’ve been unable to sign in via the correct work account no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall. I’m unsure how to unlink the attribution between my phone and the obsolete account. I use the app on my iPad and love it. My work integrates heavily with sharepoint to include a calendar we all work from. The ability to pull the calendar up on a native app is much more convenient than logging in to the browser. I just don’t know how to fix accessibility on my phone. Additionally, the app view of the calendar list is pretty vanilla. Being able to view all the color overlays like the browser would improve the experience a lot. As is-it serves the need to make accessing the information quickly and reliably..Version: 4.42.0

Perfectly unusableAwful. I cannot browse files that have been shared to me, they have to have been saved. I’m not going to save literally 100s of files individually. Not only that, but when I go to sharepoint on my computer, there’s no way to “save” the files that have been shared to me! I can only see the files in my “recents”, and again, I’m dealing with 100s of files, of which I do not use all of them on a daily basis. Did any thought go into this, or was it just thrown together without much consideration of usability?.Version: 4.15.0

FeedbackFast access to documents remotely but cumbersome preset file tree setup with no obvious way of tailoring to suit different project types. Suggest project templates that could be applied at setup. Also should be able to set the level of monitoring within the programme.Version: 4.12.0

DisasterMost user unfriendly portal I have seen. Does not integrate with company IOS devices, links are broken, cannot find essential docs via search function.Version: 4.10.0

PaystubNo explanation no help can’t find anything.Version: 4.41.3

Pointless on iPhoneYay an update! Maybe this will fix the utter crap calendar view! Nope, still a mostly worthless app. One of the worst apps for productivity; calendars are especially uncooperative. Doesn’t open any calendar on my phone. Tried the website and it’s just as bad. The only way to properly see a calendar is to use a computer. If my work didn’t use Microsoft, I would ditch this app and never return. I have no idea how Microsoft stays in business when they pump out such unfriendly rubbish. Not a fan of Google but it’s miles better than this software and it’s free..Version: 4.37.0

Pages don’t displayMy experience is that when I open a site in the SharePoint mobile app, publishing pages do not appear for some sites but they do on others. After comparing the differences between sites that do and don’t, it appears to me that the common thread is that if a site has sub sites, then pages do not appear. If the site does not have sub sites, then the pages do appear. It’s frustrating because we have spent time building responsive mobile friendly pages that work great in a web browser, but they aren’t available in the mobile app..Version: 3.10.0

Too many sign insAs above.Version: 4.46.0

Connection issuesI see many people with connection issues and these never get resolved. We all have the same issues but no answer..Version: 4.50.0

Half finished, not good enough.Fails at download large files, can't upload any type of file to a site? It should be easy to export a file from another app and have SharePoint show up as a destination for uploading. Edit: and it logs me out frequently and won't log me back in unless I uninstall and reinstall the app..Version: 4.41.3

What does it doAnything I ask it to do it says it can’t be done. Upload files, failed, upload images, failed, uploading anything failed. How do I share when I can’t upload nothing.Version: 4.41.3

Awful appApp is to slow Search is horrible and when you refresh it’s too late Actually it should be no star.Version: 4.15.0

Constantly crashes and ask to re-loginCan't use the app all it does is crash and attempts to re login....Version: 4.22.0

Awful appThe worst cloud system ever. Difficult to use on iOS, both windows and Mac laptops. DropBox, Box Sync, Google Drive are FAR more usable. Super clunky, no shortcuts to fav folders. Cannot save files from email..Version: 4.24.1

RubbishAbsolute rubbish. Keeps asking me to download some Microsoft App, I’m on Apple. I was forced to have this for my job, but I think the website we had previously was far and away much better and easier to use. I’ve given it one star because I can’t give it none..Version: 3.6.0

My scheduleI still have yet to get to my schedule, everything else to read, but no schedule..Version: 4.41.3

I Want to Love Office 365!It’s almost like the Microsoft engineers push out O365 updates and go back to using Google around the office. Straight down the line Microsoft is making enough progress to keep us hanging on, but more often than not the apps are clunky, the functionality is slow, unstable, and ill conceived. This app really doesn’t do anything to add Sharepoint features for iOS. Some with Team, Planner, and OneDrive (although that is the best by a long shot). Microsoft should hire someone that is an expert in Evernote that knows all the ways that app is lighter, faster, and more functional than OneNote on every platform. Please, make these apps work for users that want you to succeed. We’re invested in Microsoft, we’re support these tools around the office, and they’re either too illogical for beginners or too clunky for advanced users..Version: 3.13.2

Suggested people !!What on earth is this ‘people’ nonsense view? How does it choose which people to shove in your face? Why on earth can you not edit this view or get rid of it?.Version: 4.30.0

Slow and clunky. Moving files within SharePoint is painfulScreens are inflexible. Especially when moving files from one folder to another. Also I transfer a file and often times it hasn’t updated to allow others to see it for a half hour! This may be a server fault not the program.Version: 4.41.3

Buggy to the point of being unusableIf a directory has too many subdirectories (about 100), you cannot scroll to the end of the list! Impossible to use..Version: 4.51.3

Come on MicrosoftHave you guys at Microsoft even used this app? It’s so hard to use it’s like figuring out how a woman thinks. There are no ways to find new pages, finding documents is a mess and it’s just a pain to use unless you have favourited a site from the desktop version..Version: 4.20.0

Sign in issuesHad to delete my app and re-install due to password issues a couple of months ago. Ever since, I have to sign in EVERY time. It doesn’t matter if I just minimize (while app is still open) and pull up another app or if I time out. It is EXTREMELY aggravating and time consuming. Support gives the same standard answers and doesn’t seem to be concerned how it is affecting users..Version: 4.41.3

UnusableHere we are, all these years, versions on - and what do we have? One of the most utterly useless and unusable apps of all time. I can’t express enough just how bad this is. Deleted.Version: 4.43.0

SharePoint issuesCan’t find some sites existing using search and another thing I can’t download more than one file at a time off SharePoint.Version: 3.18.0

Sharing linksSharing links is hopeless unless you change permissions for every random person you email to. I’m a consultant and have hundreds of people I need to include. I have to save everything on my phone before I can email a copy that they can access..Version: 4.33.0

SharePointFinding it a bit hard to navigate.Version: 4.10.0

Sign in every time? Why must I be forced to sign in every time I open this app. I have to sign in even if I open another app and go back to this one? I have tried uninstall and reinstall but no fix. Extremely frustrating..Version: 4.43.0

This is barely an appWhen I want to access most things I use SharePoint for, rather than give me anything like a mobile experience, this app just serves as a sort of browser to show me a poorly optimized site. This would be okay, but the issue is that the site itself is hard to navigate and downright clunky. I’ll try to tap a button and suddenly the keyboard pops up on its own and I’m typing invisible letters when I was trying to click on a drop-down menu. Very odd, makes the whole app frustrating to use. I’ve never been the biggest fan of Microsoft’s app ui, but at least it’s functional and not too buggy. Please devote some more attention to this potentially very useful app! Make it easier to navigate, and easier to find things I’m looking for. Maybe add a first-time user tutorial like most similar apps do. At the very least, make the app an app, not a proxy for websites!.Version: 3.14.1

Can't access calendarsThe SharePoint and related Outlook apps are decent means of accessing information in SharePoint. However, the absolute refusal of Microsoft to allow IOS apps to view SharePoint calendars makes the Office 365 for Business process useless in my opinion. SharePoint group calendars are a vital part of making SharePoint useful to most organizations, yet there is no way to view those calendars on an IOS device. I contacted Microsoft Business Support a few months ago and was told, after five days of back and forth, that this is "by design". Really? The concept is great and for viewing basic information in the news feed or most files, the App works relatively well. But c'mon Microsoft - in 2019 I should be able to use a group calendar on all my devices!.Version: 4.9.0

Use Edge InsteadIn a lot of cases, everything that can be done from a web browser can’t be done in an app. I’d at least like to see parity to the mobile web browser experience within sharepoint and then something to make the app appealing. At this time, the app doesn’t serve anything that a mobile web browser doesn’t already do better. Sharepoint as a product has been great, just this mobile app doesn’t seem to bring much to the table that can’t be done better from Safari or another mobile browser. I basically use the app to avoid logging in with MFA. From edge, if you browse Sharepoint with the desktop version, you get a lot of the posting and editing power you normally get on desktop on a web browser..Version: 4.27.1

RubbishI keep loosing my data on forms Really unimpressed..Version: 3.16.0

Time wasting and frustratingMy Co requires constant signing in to access the information I need. A pop up box reminds me each time as to whether I want to reduce sign in by ticking a box to not see the message again but it opens it every time.Version: 4.13.0

Good idea, but BETA experienceI like where your going with it but it seems like it’s totally incomplete and duct taped together.. it’s sort of ghetto when another browser style window pops up on top of the “app” in order to view the home page... it’s not something I’m proud to implement at our company.. why not just use the browser at that point.. if you make an app, make it app quality and standalone...Version: 3.14.1

Rather confusing and slowJust trying to get my head around this tool but handling pictures and clips is a pain..Version: 3.2.0

OneDrive app is much cleanerWhy is this so complicated to find my own screen? I need to click through 2-3 groups just to find my own files and then it’s like a web page that isn’t sized correctly on the screen. Really clunky.Version: 4.2.1

Useless when trying to edit documents on iPadIt does not allow editing without making an unwanted and time consuming copy..Version: 4.40.1

Incredibly laggyI’m using an iPhone X and everything I do on this app has a 20 second delay making it virtually unusable..Version: 4.7.0

Lovely app to torpedo productivityIt is symptomatic of this app that as I type this, I can’t even see what I’m typing. Great app of you’re a manager who hates your underlings..Version: 4.30.0

Does not Open IOS IPHONE 12 ProThe app does not want to open even after updating both the app and my phone..Version: 4.45.0

New flipThis is an absolutely terrible app! The new flip is a complete FLOP!.Version: 4.41.3

Issues logging inLove the 365 mobile suits as a year 9 student, but ive had an issue since last year that has to do with logging in Whenever i use the app, im prompted to sign in, so i do, but after, im stuck in a screen that says im logged in, but after a few MINUTES, im stuck in a loading loop with no end in sight, please for the love of all that is holy, fix this.Version: 4.47.0

Hard to work seamlesslyI find it difficult to use, should like Apple devices it just works easily.Version: 4.33.0

So slow and glitchyIt’s taken me two weeks to accomplish what should have taken me two days (building a site).Version: 4.47.0

Can't connect to a calendar in groupI can't get the calendar app in a SharePoint group onto an ipad.Version: 3.3.0

Won’t loginDoes not work. Tells me the information is incorrect (it’s not I am the administrator) and to try logging out of the other account first. There is no other account. Very poor effor.Version: 4.46.0

Not impressedDoesn’t allow me to sign in to edit or change and content on shared spreadsheets. Tried several times with no success. I always end up using using my laptop..Version: 3.5.0

App is unusable for uploading stuffI’m not a boomer who has no idea how to use technology—I’m pretty good at navigating directories and googling my way out of programming problems, but after 20 minutes struggling to upload a file with a clunky interface for iOS, I’ve given up. I’m almost convinced it’s because Microsoft wants to punish users with iPhones (or that Apple wants to make it unbearably hard for Microsoft to design their ecosystem on iOS), but regardless this is ridiculous. Back to emailing to myself and uploading on a computer..Version: 4.46.0

SharePoint app needs to go awayCome on, SharePoint team. Either have the app present the sites as designed, lists, libraries and all, or just kill the app in favor of the browser. Why won’t it present a document library as the views are designed? All these years, and we can’t get a consistent experience out of the app, then it should just go away. If I could block our users from downloading this, I would..Version: 4.41.3

Feels half-bakedThis app looks nice and I’m sure would be great for consuming, but you still have to use the mobile site should you want to create or edit a page. And that’s pretty painful on an iPad..Version: 4.0.0

Mobile Sharepoint - Not as GoodSharepoint on desktop PCs works really well. The mobile app is okay, but.. Some sharepoint pages open in just a web browser - so you end up with the desktop site anyway (which is no better than just using mobile safari) The UI is a bit hit or miss, files will open in the in-built web browser and sometimes they will open in mobile Microsoft office Needs a bit of work to make it a proper “mobile version” of sharepoint, as currently most of the app seems to be no more than a sharepoint-branded mobile browser, that just opens web pages that I could just open in mobile safari. A lot of our staff work out in the field so the mobile app needs to be easy to use..Version: 4.31.0

It’s (nearly) all there but a bit clunkyDoes just about everything you may want of such an app, but it can be a bit clunky working out how. Feature request: uploading file from it to libraries etc, like the OneDrive app can..Version: 3.5.0

DisappointedApp suddenly stopped allowing me to upload photos to a document library even though every other user in my company can. I am able to upload photos when using safari or an other internet browser so it isn’t a permissions issue. Only happens when using the SharePoint app..Version: 4.24.1

Unusable since 4.21 updateSince the latest update, I have had nothing but issues with the mobile app. After contacting Office 365 support they told me they could not help as the app was a different department. I have submitted 5 + issue reports and had nothing back from Microsoft. I expected more from them.Version: 4.21.0

Meh...not as helpful as I would likeThe interface on the app is not as clean and intuitive as the web version. Editing events in a shared calendar for instance is awkward and unpleasant. Editing a recurring event is actually impossible on the app. Requiring logging in to the website mandatory. Could be more useful, cleaner and efficient..Version: 4.10.0

Don't show on homepageI have downloaded the app but it doesn't appear on my mobile homepage. I have to go to settings or search to access the app. Very disappointing..Version: 4.38.1

Leo RizzoTOO FU_ _ EN FRUSTRATING TOO FU_ _ EN HARD I loose too much time and still cant achieve what I need to achieve. Any app like this should be easy for people with low and high computer skills to use. Seems to be too many steps that have to executed perfectly to be able to achieve what you want successfully. Seems like you need to be ok for an IT genius to use this app. I’d rate this app as zero stars..Version: 4.34.1

Needs workThe mobile app for Sharepoint is missing some very basic functionality. First, it doesn’t work as a stand-alone app: it always wants to open OneDrive for Business to view a file. Why? Why do I have to install two apps just to view a document in the Sharepoint app? The other major missing part is the ability to handle document library views. We build views to filter as well as to streamline navigation. But the app doesn’t show you views and display document libraries with all of their columns/metadata. It just shows you a “pile” of documents and doesn’t look like the same view you see in the web version. While I expect some differences, the tablet apps should be very similar to the web experience. Hoping that Microsoft makes viewing document libraries better very soon. And eliminates OneDrive for Business as a part of viewing and navigating..Version: 3.6.0

Sign In ProblemI’m trying to login again and again but failed every time..Version: 4.8.0

Very HandyI love how I can access work stuff from this app! My only issue is I can open it once to get into everything and then any time after that I need to delete the app and reload it. I go to open it then it shuts right back down. I am baffled. It’s becoming a pain to delete and reload all the time!.Version: 4.26.1

Oh so slowThe old intranet was way faster..Version: 4.15.0

Poor!Every time I move away from this app, it logs me out. I have to then re-log in, wait for the security code to be sent to my phone and then I can finally get back in…. Don’t try to just check something in another app… you’ll have to start over again….Version: 4.40.1

Limited functionalityMany of the features and functions do not work.Version: 4.13.2

Endless loading loopFor some reason when I click on certain sharepoint pages or sites I get a spinning loading wheel that seems continuous. The same site works on desktop no issues. There is limited data currently on the site which is actually just some empty document libraries. This is incredibly annoying and makes it unusable..Version: 4.49.0

A MS app gains 365 reviewsI can’t particularly comment on the app itself having just download, but isn’t it just convenient that there’s 365 ratings on here? Unfortunately I’ve just ruined that numeric coincidence by pushing it to 366..Version: 3.4.0

Major SharePoint calendar problems persistThe SharePoint app is generally quite usable. Major issues still impact on the usability of the calendar function, which is the primary use in our organisation. 1. This is the major issue - events do not appear in sequential order on any selected day - why is this? 2. In the create/edit event function, moving the starting date/time in the date picker does not auto advance the end date as it does it every other calendar app - why is this?.Version: 4.37.0

So far so good but…Have been using for a while now but surprised I’m still unable to side scroll big tables, so have to open in browser to do this. Wanted to provide as feedback to update but link no longer works coz it points to UserVoice but the instance is apparently no longer active..Version: 4.40.1

Buggy! Can’t get back to main hub site from comms site associated to hub site..Version: 4.11.0

Doesn’t show foldersIt doesn’t always open the files, I have to click many times on the folders or I have to go back completely. It’s frustration.Version: 4.13.1

Edit please?Would love the ability to edit SharePoint pages using this app. Unless I’m missing something, I always have to load a page in Safari on my iPad to edit/publish. Thanks!.Version: 4.9.0

Terrible piece of rubbishIf you’ve set up a range of columns within a document library; you’ll struggle to filter things and find the data you need. It’s seriously a waste of time even attempting to use it..Version: 4.4.0

Needs streamlined conversations integrationMy only issues are that SharePoint app doesn’t support classic Yammer! Feeds and there is no way to click through to open the Yammer! App to get to those feeds... while is does support the new Yammer! Feed, it doesn’t let you directly comment in the Sharepoint app- instead it automatically opens your Yammer! App for comments..Version: 3.17.0

Not user friendlyNot user friendly at all compared with a desktop version..Version: 4.2.1

Constant corruptionEvery time we try to use our proposal template in SharePoint it corrupts. It is always the tables losing their formatting, however it is also often that the document will corrupt completely and have to be started from scratch. Honestly, it is a great idea - but just doesn’t follow through..Version: 4.12.0

Can’t upload photo from mobile to SharePoint DirectoryWhy can’t we upload a photo from our mobile phone to our SharePoint Directory. I have to say, common sense at Microsoft is out the door..Version: 4.10.0

It was ok, now it’s a problemWe’ve been using SharePoint to track COVID symptom reports and for managers to monitor their team’s submissions. Unfortunately the latest update to the app has broken the use of views when lists are accessed through a link. If a link to a filtered view is used, it will only show the master view (even after I disabled mobile access for it) with no navigation bar to change the view. We found that uninstalling the app and opening links through Safari works fine. These kinds of inconsistencies have always existed but now it is critical that the process work for our organization’s health and safety. It’s not a good day when the mobile browser version of a product is better than the app..Version: 4.21.0

Too many bugsUpdate: was able to reinstall the app today but still being kicked out on the sign in page like other users are reporting. Please please fix this. — The SP app has been unstable at best, but since the recent “update” it has gotten even worse. For a few weeks I have not been able to log into my company O365 account. Recently I tried deleting the app to reinstall it and even thought it disappeared from my iPad, when I come to the App Store to reinstall it again it still shows as on my iPad. I don’t have the option to download, only to “open”. Please fix this app, so many of us rely on SharePoint for everyday work..Version: 4.38.1

No good for mobile devicesCan’t easily upload or file files or share things using mobile device. Clunky and not user friendly or intuitive at all..Version: 3.12.0

Stop nagging1 star due to the constant nagging for a review. Why have we created narcissistic applications that require constant validation through reviews..Version: 4.26.0

Sync and function issuesHas great potential, but inviting more than one person to a folder or file causes the sharing sub-screen to crash and fails to send invites. Additionally the styles and colour schemes are not consistent. One day it is the theme colour, the next day a different colour. Would be good to add some customisable features for admins to control the viewing of information from the app, such as view types (button/list vs tight list vs etc) Even when synced, it still shows deleted SharePoint sites. The jumping between OneDrive and SharePoint is very disruptive and slow. Needs to see less user experience..Version: 4.4.0

Lackluster iOS appAs I’ve commented before on other Microsoft apps, the amount of features and buttons and whistles that are missing from the iOS apps are mind-boggling. They crippling the entire iOS experience, which for some business users is the only way that they will use Microsoft apps. On iOS. So please start updating all your apps and start putting all of the web portal features on to the apps..Version: 4.41.3

Worst experience yetI’m not understanding the high reviews for this junk app. We have E3 licensing through Microsoft, which includes using SharePoint online. The site works fine through a PC or mobile web browser. However, using the app is a terrible experience. We literally can’t do anything other than view a document list. Opening and downloading documents fails. Seriously, MS if your OneDrive and sharepoint apps want to beat out Dropbox, they need to be functional.Version: 3.18.0

Issues with One DriveWe have swapped our systems over from drop box to one drive. This has brought with it a lot of issues. We currently have upload issues, pc’s running slow whilst the one drive is syncing. When we try and open a file when out on site it can take several minutes Some of our pc’s and laptops have crashed several times since using it. All in all I’m not currently having a good user experience..Version: 4.10.0

Very detailedSometimes too much going on. Not intuitive. But provides amazing information if you know what you’re looking for..Version: 4.46.0

Next to uselessFine if you only want to look at documents or add to documents, but the copy and paste function doesn’t work, so you can’t transfer text between documents or apps. Suitable for reference but doesn’t allow you to work productively on your iPad..Version: 4.11.0

Pretty, but ultimately useless. On the surface it’s a clean, attractive looking piece of UI design but has little to no actual interactive features. It’s not possible to upload files, nor view them from the app. It’s a glorified file index. It leans heavily on other apps for basic functionality and beyond the first screen of each tab the interface is so badly laid out that half the time I can’t tell where I am or how I got there, or how to get back without quitting. Make this what it should be: a file manager and viewer. OneDrive with advanced file handing tools and an intranet browser..Version: 4.8.0

Doesn’t workEvery time I want to use it I have to delete the app and re-download it and it’s really annoying as I need ot for school.Version: 4.51.3

Horraire de travailJe trouve application vraiment trop compliqué pour voir mon horraire que d’ailleurs je n’arrive pas à voir trop d’application a télécharger juste pour voir mon horraire.Version: 4.41.3

Horrible App.The app itself constantly freezes and then reloads which takes me back to the group page. Anything I try to click on won’t load either. In fact I don’t get as much as a buffering bar. It will keep the document or link highlighted but no change to take me to the document. I have to be honest, I’m not too overly surprised considering it’s Microsoft. Their stuff NEVER works. I wish my company would use Apple instead so we could be more productive..Version: 3.18.0

Returns to homeI like the fact I can access everything on my phone in an organized and easy to follow manner. However, any time you hit the back button or something seems to go wrong (happens more than you’d think). It sends you all the way back to home page. Which is an issue when I’ve been going through lots of folders within folders. My worst gripe is how I can’t successfully upload files from my phone. I have a 13 pro so I am doubtful that my phone is the issue. I’ll add a photo to a folder and it just sends me back to the Home Screen without even uploading the picture..Version: 4.41.3

Uh oh!!!Oh no! I just downloaded this and then saw it was $754 ?? Is this correct? If so I need to remove it ASAP!!!.Version: 4.15.0

Can't save files to SharePoint foldersI can't believe more people don't see this as a serious flaw. One of the main features of SharePoint is supposed to be document accessibility, but you can't save through the SharePoint app to a connected folder. The same applies to the Teams and OneDrive apps. So NOTHING in Microsoft's stable of general accessibility apps can put files in a business folder. Doesn't anyone else see a problem with this?.Version: 4.13.3

UpdatesThe SharePoint app does not update in real time or near real time..Version: 4.34.1

Frustrating to say the leastI use this app for my work in 3 hospitals, keeping up to date with shift changes on the rota when we are so short staffed was much easier. A few month ago my app stopped opening the simplest of files, I deleted it and downloaded again. Now I have to sign in each time the app is opened, which also includes flicking between my shift app and this one. Beyond worthless at times as it takes so long to do anything. I’ve resorted to just having to ask people to email me any changes and hope it’s stayed that way so I don’t turn up to the wrong hospital or at the wrong time..Version: 4.41.3

Clunky system, bad integrationUnable to send files directly to app from File menu like in Dropbox and gdrive. You have to open SharePoint and add files. Clunky system, does not hold a candle to other platforms.Version: 4.32.0

SharePoint now crashes after last update☹️Crashes in both iPad and iPhone versions. Can’t access it at all now- not happy 😠.Version: 4.5.1

Syncing issuesIt wont sync all my documents as it says there is a delay of syncing files but in the meantime i am struggling to access documents on site.Version: 4.4.0

BadCan go back through folders, takes me to the beginning of the folder.Version: 4.50.0

Lost functionalityThe reason i got the app was to check our case queue/team leader workspace on the go, latest update broke it so there is no link to it.Version: 3.3.0

Very limiting for today’s ways of workingI dont normally write reviews but this app is so limiting for flexibility and switching between devices. I am unable to edit my own news stories on my phone (iphone). Is it just read only app? Not good enough for the way people work today!.Version: 4.13.3

Error cannot view filesNo use.Version: 4.9.0

A lot of functions don’t workThe settings cog isn’t visible and it is clunky and not intuitive having to go there to get to site contents to navigate to documents. There I couldn’t even view a document until I then opened SharePoint in Safari (I’m using an iPhone) and eventually managed to open the document I needed. Handy that I can access everything in the ‘cloud’ though... if you can view your documents..Version: 3.9.0

Worst App EverThis is the most clunkiest app I have ever used. The developers of this software should be ashamed of themselves. Look to Box on how to develop a proper software program..Version: 4.22.0

Won’t OpenI used to use the app a lot, then 2 updates ago it started crashing on load. If I delete the app and reinstall it, it opens, but my employer protects the content of Microsoft apps with pin access by default, so it tells me it needs to restart. After restart, it doesn’t get past the main SharePoint logo before crashing. I also can’t seem to get the app to log out. As soon as I install it, it picks up my Microsoft creds from other Microsoft apps installed (I assume), logs me straight in, forces the restart and crashes. So I have no way of filing a report in the app and no way of getting support to resolve it. Waited for another update and still no luck..Version: 4.23.0

RegretsI hate this software..Version: 4.47.0

Clearly Untested by DevsIf you have folders that have hundreds or thousands of items, prepare for frustration! Scrolling through dozens of items is a lesson in patience as the app does not cache items so every page needs to be loaded on demand. Don’t even get me started on managing folder security / access….Version: 4.38.1

Totally useless. Too many avenues.Needs to be more simpler. Trying to change bank details once saved it just keeps returning to old details. How about just deleting old details & add new details instead of trying to find your bsb number in a million others..Version: 4.43.0

FrustratedThere are so many great things about SharePoint, but I am constantly unable to navigate to the files I need in the app. It is beyond frustrating. The entire point of several companies I work with setting this up was to be able to access files remotely, and repeatedly, this function has alluded many of us. Recent files is not enough, it is difficult to navigate to older files. Also, at times it is difficult to navigate between profiles. I suppose on the whole 1 star rating is harsh, but this app has failed me time and time again..Version: 4.51.3

Can’t sign in, despite valid credentialsAm stuck in a sign-in loop. It won’t accept valid credentials. This app bounces me over to the Microsoft Authenticator app, which then bounces me back but still won’t let me in. All other Office apps work fine..Version: 4.51.3

Downloading files from OfficeThis and OneDrive is missing the ability to copy / download Outook file attachments directly to SharePoint / Teams site. The only way I can see is to download to your OneDrive folder associated with your profile, then upload via OneDrive to the SP/ Teams site. I think this is a fundamental file management function that is missing..Version: 4.0.0

ConfusingNothing seems to be intuitive....Version: 4.3.0

Wish it was more reliable.Too many bugs, too many unnecessary error messages. I have to go back out and log in. I pay month for Office365 Business Premium and GoogleDrive or iCloud just works better. I'll say this one last and final time Microsoft; stop worrying so much about changes and new office apps. Make the stuff you already have work better and more user friendly. Again, this is the LAST TIME I WILL TELL YOU..Version: 4.17.0

Not working todayNot working today.Version: 4.31.0

Most incoherent programIt’s hard to understand what the true purpose of this program is. It is much harder to find things now than ever before. The best I can say is that SharePoint is an other hyped monstrosity of a program with no real focus to it..Version: 4.30.1

Waste of timeStability of opening pdfs is less so than dropbox. Basic file sharing via email (outlook) is haphazard at best. Really sharepoint is a major waste of time.Version: 3.16.0

Just good enough to be irritatingA SharePoint app promises the opportunity to handle document management on the iPad when away from the computer, but th limitations in how files can be viewed make it a false promise. My typical use case is going to a meeting and hoping to view the meeting documents on the iPad, but for some reason they lose their grouping and I can’t see the most recent files uploaded to the meeting. Works fine in browser view on a Mac. Instead, I download everything to google drive because that just basically works..Version: 4.11.0

Pointless and breaks your phoneThis app annoyingly launched itself when I went to a company SPO site in safari, which is frustrating af because my SP sites look the nuts and this app offers little. I had to either wait for the battery to run down or erase my phone with Find my iPhone. Avoid and just get your admins to enable or create mobile experience for browser..Version: 4.6.0

So difficultHard to navigate, the web version is the great but can’t do half the things on the app, nothing is organized, takes me 10min to find a file (if I can) really not user friendly.Version: 4.20.0

Force closesHas a few bugs. Opens on the first time after being downloaded then force closes. Have reinstalled a number of times .....Version: 4.32.0

Unable to see informationKeep getting glitches in the created pages. Unable to see information that was put in and it takes months for a ticket to Microsoft to get the issue fixed.Version: 4.41.3

Bug issuesApp crashes a lot and won’t open a simple pdf file.Version: 4.40.1

Very buggy, multiple accounts nightmareCan’t even refresh the home page of a site. Using the menu and clicking refresh doesn’t reload the page. I have multiple accounts on different tenants, which works great except it keeps prompting me to login to a different older account that I stopped using before I even installed this app. Not sure how it even found that older account but it keeps asking me to log in to that account. Using the files menu I can only create folders in a library, no option to upload a file or take a picture from the camera, in what I would consider very basic functionality. Nice effort but feels more like a beta than a fully baked product imho..Version: 4.11.0

Partial displaysNice for accessing files but useless for viewing calendars and other typical SharePoint displays..Version: 4.26.1

Difficult to scroll through documentsOpening documents is easy but reading them is difficult. Even with latest iPhone the scrolling experience is poor and zooming in and out induces app to freeze and not scroll. Poor user experience.Version: 4.11.0

Pretty useless without native files supportI have just started using the browser version of SharePoint. In the app you cannot save files to the native ‘files’ app, it just shares a text file when trying to save. Also there is no support to add the location to the ‘files’ app on the iPad like there is with OneDrive. Please fix these issues, then the app will be usable!.Version: 4.20.0

Very poorThe site behaviour is completely screwed when using the app. We will remove the app and force users to use the Safari browser as the app is just dreadful..Version: 3.8.1

Don’t waist your timeThis app is getting freeze in the middle of my videos and then I need to force close and open again. Worst, if I receive any message of something from other apps this app close my video. Please do better embed controllers.Version: 3.8.0

Why?Why did I move from google drive, which simply worked. Since we moved to SharePoint and one drive we have had to involve external IT services to resolve several sync issues between devices. It just isn’t reliable!.Version: 4.25.0

Doesn’t open all folders and files , good when works frustrating when it does notThe app is great when opening the files as it would on desktop .. however quite often it does not open the links as they appear on desktop and is frustrating and clunky . After much searching around eventually I find what I am looking for ..Version: 4.24.1

IPad compatibilitySlow and clunky, multiple page pdf files don’t allow zoom without reloading. File navigation resets randomly. More like bug report versus overall review.Version: 4.51.3
