Audio Evolution Mobile Studio for Negative User Reviews

ClunkyFrom the outside this has nobs and whistles, on the inside it is bulky and a pain. Difficult workflow for the simplest tasks. Needs a major overhaul, sorry..Version: 2.2.8

Work In ProgressToo early to give a review as the app is still being developed, ie. many essential features missing and quite a few bugs..Version: 1.0.6

Why Don’t I Have A Mixdown Option In My Files. REFUNDI use to like this app.Version: 2.1.9

Doesn’t live up to it’s potential.I’m upset with what’s happening here. this app, it’s not a full Daw, though it has the potential to be and be better than most. I gave you my money and I expect what you say it does to be on the money for my money. I know a thing or two about midi applications and for the price, the outside looks good, but the engine needs work. I have a list of things that could make it a better product, but what you have could be cost efficient, If made to run smoother. I could scream I want my money back or I can say, but fix it and make it worth every cent. right now there is a growing mobile music community and I am part of it. this is not a hobby for me. don’t ad on what the others have. Fix what’s already there!.Version: 4.3.5

I hate it so muchI can’t even play the song and this app doesn’t make any sense I am so angry this is the worst I lost my song and now I can’t get it back please fix it.Version: 2.2.6

Getting betterSo to start with the main app. It’s definitely improving. Still glitchy. Still quirky. Still full of promise and potential and still being supported and improved by the dev. I’d like to be able to say it’s better than Cubasis or Auria, or Multitrack Daw, or even Garageband but I don’t think that’s going to happen just yet. But full marks for the continuous improvement. Now to the new Vocal Tune Studio addition. Very very impressed. By far the best pitch tweaker on iOS but, as with the main app, just needs that bit more refinement. I know it’s early days and this is a fabulous achievement. But how about moving the concert pitch, joining notes, slope etc. Yes greedy requests but there we are. If I could wish for one thing from the dev it would be release Vocal Tune Studio as an AU plugin version. I know that may stick in the devs craw but he has an open goal at the moment. I’d pay the price of the in app purchase for it. There’s nothing else like it in iOS. Yet!.Version: 5.5.4

Drum sequencer trackAre you kidding me, this was your attempt at making a sequencer track? LAME you failed bad. Think again and I’ll get back to you. PURE SORROW..Version: 2.2.6

AppWould like my refund.Version: 4.3.2

App sucks paid 15$ for it and you have to pay a lot more than that to use the features:(.Version: 5.8.6

Want a refund!This app is terrible! I can’t do anything with it! I want a refund now!.Version: 2.1.9

MP3 Audio FormatCan you add a support for MP3 Mixdowns and Audio Exports. Please? Because it’s much smaller than wav format. Thank You.Version: 5.1.4

Needs to evolveHas potential to be a really good and simple daw but the clunky and unintuitive way it has of doing many tasks needs streamlining and the whole thing needs updating. As someone who is looking for a great all in one music software for iOS that I can make tracks with audio, midi, au instruments and effects etc, I found this close but still so far. Please bring it up to date.Version: 3.5.1

Very poor workflow appIf you want something that will sap your creative juices and enjoy tapping away your day trying to perform the simplest of tasks in order to record then this is the app for you! The work flow is shocking...even just turning the metronome on and off is a chore. So you want to record a track and you need a metronome. You tap metronome and the menu of options appear. You set tempo and 1 bar intro, and turn the metronome on... You record your part and find the 1st note doesn’t record because you were a smidgen too early on the beat. You open the midi editor and correct the missing note and tap play. Damn, metronome is still running... so tap metronome to turn off, but switch is greyed out... cannot turn off when playing! Exit metronome settings, tap stop, then back into metronome to turn it off. Tap play...and listen... you decide the recording is no good and you want to record again...delete current record and tap for record again...damn no metronome...and so repeat the above. Having to turn the metronome on and off each time you record in its self makes this app just a toy! There is no loop record? Tapping next button to cycle all windows before returning to track view? No direct button? Having to disable and re enable track record if you change instruments? All the buttons are up top and bias to the left so can only assume made for lefties? The button to open and edit your instrument is small and to the left of the bigger assign button (lefties) so unless accurate (slow and deliberate) tap will open assign instrument window. False reporting CPU overload resulting in having to re enable record in channel strip to hear sound again... I run an iPad Pro 12.9 1st gen and have regularly used 6 instances of SynthMaster Player, Group the Loop and Gadget2 within AUM @ 38% static and 74% running. This app was reporting CPU issues with 2 instances of SynthMaster and while I was changing presets??? Cheap is what it is, and cheap is what you get...Looks good but is Rubbish!.Version: 2.2.6

This app needs an updateCan you update the app. I can put music on it to edit? Please and thank you.Version: 4.3.6

Couldn’t add my own instrumentalI couldn’t add my own instrumental from my files which I don’t like I feel as if I was played out of my money. If you know how to import your own instrumentals without paying additional money please help me..Version: 2.1.9

Capable but outdated dawJumped into this daw because of the features that have quickly been added like Vocal Tune Studio, full track pad support and iOS clipboard support. However, it didn’t take long to realize how outdated the user interface is. This daw feels like it was designed for a phone but wasn’t imagined to take advantage of an iPads bigger screen. We should have a proper mixer icon and have a mixer/playlist view and not have to flip through pages to get to the mixer then next again to get to groups and master track then next again to get back to the playlist view. It’s very unintuitive. There’s no way of having multiple effects on screen like AUM and are forced to have effects full screen. This daw lacks 32 bit float rendering and multi core rendering..Version: 5.5.8

Deluxe features Obsolete file handingThere are levels of control this app offers that are deluxe and not found in competitors and I wish I could love it more than Cubasis3 , even though overall feels a bit stiff workflow wise. There is no simple browser mode to gain access to all save or share locations now so abundant since Apple granted easy usb options for iPhones and iPads running ‘modern’ iOS versions. I should choose where I want a saved file to end up, on my device, external drive, or micro sdxc… without going online/cloud then download back to device if your cloud server allows it…other than to photos app only option. Adds way too many limitations…a “Cold War” artefact from the time Apple made it impossible to use mobile devices for creative work by limiting access to that work from anywhere but the app it was originally recorded in. Also, high on resources use, admittedly I was using Audio Evolution on an old iPhone 8+ but I got a lot more tracks working with competitors who offer a more contemporary although (appropriately) also more expensive app..Version: 5.0.6

Somewhat stableCrashes randomly when using audio units. It is good for audio tracks and automation. Midi and software instruments are mostly unusable for me because of frequent stuck notes..Version: 2.2.1

Not wrknLately app haven’t Ben let me record any Muzik idk I Ben using this app since 2013 or 2014.Version: 4.3.5
