Imagine my surprise today when I launch it and discover there are no free/basic versions the way I remembered, just a very brief trial and then pay and pay and pay. ✓ Awfully intrusiveIt first asked me to make a subscription before using it. Then it forced me to allow geolocalisation, then forced me to allow sending notifications. Then it forced me to enter my email. If the above was not annoying enough, when I asked to delete the app, it asked "keep the subscription: Yes/No". Really? After deleting the app? What for? When I clicked ‘No’, nothing happened, then the app froze, my phone froze, and I had to restart it several times. It’s the latest I-Phone, not some old obsolete phone… After restarting, I checked the settings, and the subscription was still active. Avoid !!!.Version: 2.1.0

✓ Provides incorrect info so absolutely uselessI downloaded to see a flight a family member us on. I know for a fact the plane left about 15-20 mins late as we were still talking on the phone 12 minutes after the supposed departure and theye weren't even bussed out yet. Upon checking the app it claims the flight left on time and it has already landed on time 10 minutes ago when it's still in the air... My kids enjoy watching his plane fly across the sky on this app. However, you cannot search for specific flights in specific dates. For example, I was trying to search and save his flight for a Sunday on Saturday morning, but the only flight it would show me was the same flight for Saturday. There is no way to change the date. ✓ UnusableThis app is completely unusable. Other reviewers were polite when they said the ads are “intrusive”. The reality is that the ads make this app unusable! This app has ads at the bottom of your screen, in the middle strip of your screen and full screen pop ups that’s stay for a good 5 seconds before you can even dismiss the pop ups. Seriously? Also seems difficult to keep track of travel date in the instance of future trips, especially when the international dateline is involved. I subscribed to the rolling monthly subscription and it went downhill straight away, when I’m seeing airliners in the sky and this app isn’t showing them but a free app I have is then it’s time to cancel. ✓ Free version is impossible to useI was once a big advocate of this app and used it frequently. Yes, it was free and now you have a choice between subscriptions and advertising. I wanted to just check one flight, so not happy to take out a yearly subscription. The advertiser funded version was so poorly implemented that it was impossible to get away from the ads once they had been served. Close button for adverts is overlaid top right or top left area of the screen and mixed up with battery and network icons et cetera. It does not respond to being pressed. This means you have to close the app and reopen it. This makes the free version impossible (just difficult) to use. ✓ Annoying adsI think this summarized how I feel about this app. I hate annoying ads and I also think apps should be free because they rip you off. The developers charge you for the app AND charge you for in app purchases then take your and stop updating the app or bail out leaving you to hang, losing any money you paid and can’t use. This happen to me and many others with the Fuzel Collage app. Then won’t respond to any of our emails. Most of them are foreigners and don’t care. Fuzel is a company in another country. I was confused because there was no information or email that told me that the flight was going back. So I decided to go download a BETTER app that told me the their flight was on track and not back at where it started. ✓ Cool App, but by subscription? No thanks!Have had this app and enjoyed it for quite some time. I liked showing people how you can choose any plane and get so much detail on it. It was mind boggling for anyone who saw how many planes are in the air at any time and how you can track each one in real time. Then I today I launched it so I could identify a plane flying overhead and discovered it was now a subscription only app! Yes, this app does an amazing feat though it really collects available info from control towers. But to charge a subscription for it? I think that only the die hard aviation geeks would fork over $5 a week. I subscribe to a suite of apps that are second to none because they offer apps that provide world class tools for editing photos, videos, music, text, web design and a whole lot more. Adobe offers subscription for individual apps or a whole collection of them. They charge for sophisticated and professional tools. You’re not Adobe! When you start producing apps that pilot use as well as a host of apps for other aviation uses, then you will have a right to charge a subscription based on value. ✓ Fun little app, but far too intrusive with their premium service offer.I think this is a fun app and is likely excellent for Air Aficionados, but for people with casual interest who have no need or interest for the premium version, it’s not worth it. Every third plane you select, their “Please Upgrade” pops up. I opted for the trial, hoping that maybe after discontinuing it the ad would pop up less, but that’s not the case. I understand they want to sell the premium version but the devs really need to find a happy medium, like even making the ad pop up once a day. ✓ Hard to use, not intuitive, and hard to cancelAll I want is to find out what time a particular place is due to land. But it’s a nightmare to use - type in the flight number, but you can’t see the info once it has departed, only the next day’s flight. You can’t see where it is on the map without clicking on every single plane. You can’t see departure boards. And they suggest a three day trial (which I clicked hoping this would give me access to these features) there is no way to cancel it, except through the hidden routes within settings - you need Apple support for this. ✓ Not worth the money!I originally bought this app because I live on the landing pattern for Detroit Metro (DTW). The first year I had the app, it was great! I could sit on my deck and watch (and track) flights coming in and out of DTW. Within the last 3-4 months however the app has gone downhill quickly. Planes will fly over the house and not show up on the tracker, wrong flight numbers, incorrect maps, etc. I have sent numerous emails to customer service regarding my issues and basically I was brushed off. I really can’t justify paying $4.99 a month for an app that doesn’t work properly. UPDATE: Just received an email wanting me to reach out to the support team for help. Are you serious?!?!? The “support team” has been well aware of these issues for at least 3 months now since I have emailed them on 3 separate occasions. And only now they want to take me seriously (or try to save face) after I left a bad review of their crappy app. Sorry, too late. ✓ Used to be great - now deleting… 😒This used to be a great wee app which I used to keep track of when family members holiday flights had taken off or landed since I’m disabled & can’t get away myself. I’ve just tried to Follow a flight this morning only to discover the app now won’t let me - unless I subscribe for £2.99 a week 😩😩😩 I do not track enough flights to justify spending £2.99 per week on a subscription so I no longer have a use for this app when there are other apps which let me track flights for free. I cannot justify forking out that amount of money or wasting valuable phone memory on an app that no longer does the one function I used it for so unfortunately I will be deleting the app. It’s a shame as it really was a great wee app. The app developers should maybe allow you to Follow a couple of flights for free per month before adding subscription charges to use this feature. Tried to search by flight number, then by name of airport (midway), but had to just type “Chicago” to bring up the airports. ✓ Crashes Every 3 Mins.When you start the app, it asks you to upgrade. If you click no, it goes away and planes start to appear. 1 minute later, some crap comes up trying to sell you something. This happens every minute for three minutes. At 3:00, you get the minute ad, but this time when you click "NO", the program crashes. Obviously, they HATE taking "NO" for an answer. ✓ GarbageThis app is rubbish. Worked once now I no longer get a map, just a grid with tiny little towers on it. If I select a particular flight it does show up but there's no map so I can't see where it is. I have tried every button but I don't know where the former map covered with tiny planes has gone. ✓ False info?So 1st thing that is probably wrong is when I was just looking at the app when I got and saw the low amount of planes compared to other flight finder apps. I know it’s covid 19 but it was still a low amount. Then what ruined it all was when I checked my local airport it said there was a Thomsons flight to Orlando. 5 things wrong with this. 1. No flights operate there due to restrictions so that’s fake. 2. My airport has never had a flight to Orlando non-stop. 3. 787’s don’t operate at my airport as it is too small. 4. Thomson’s don’t even operate any more it’s TUI. 5. It said it was departing in 2 hours yet no info was shown about the flight at all. I’ve just tested it in Perth WA and could only see 3 Planes and FR24 showed 17 (planes on ground not active) meaning that they don’t have much coverage here in WA. ✓ Annoying adsThe app itself seems good and I’m able to access free features. However, the amount and length of ads is excessive. If I want to save a flight, I have to watch a 30-second add. If I want to save another flight, I have to watch another add, except there’s no times and no “x” that shows on the screen to finally get rid of the ad when the time is up. ✓ Incomplete coverage.I made the mistake of paying for a one year subscription based on the three day trial. Although individual flight information is very comprehensive, this app only tracks about half of the commercial traffic overhead (I’m under the approach corridor to DFW) The $40 annual fee is now a sunk cost for me, but I’ll be using FlightAware for complete track data. It showed zooming in on planes and it looked almost as good as a version of flight simulator showing the planes in real time. I downloaded the app and signed up for the trial. It’s said after 3 day trial I would be charged, And that if I wanted to cancel I could just do so in the settings area. I found the plane tracker once I had access to be no better than any other free version that I already have. There is no place within the settings menu to discontinue the trail before being charged. ✓ TimeThe times on these apps are all screwed up. For some reason everything is showing five hours ahead. If the plane is landing at 6:00 PM the app is showing it is landing at 11:00 PM. The same goes for arriving flights, if a flight is landing at 3 PM the app is showing it will land at 8 PM. So if there is a plane in the air it will show the plane on the map but it will not give the speed’s or altitude because it thinks the plane still at the airport. ✓ Update is a downgradeWe used to love flight tracker. Our family does a lot of travel and it’s been useful in keeping track of our own flights and keeping up with where our family is in their journey. Due to Covid, it’s been a while since we travelled, so we were excited to finally be back flying and using the app. Sadly, somewhere in the last 12 months, one or two of the upgrades has been a downgrade. In the past we could see how long we had until the flight took off, and this seems to have disappeared. While you can still see how long until the flight is over, the information used to scroll with time since take off, time to destination, time until next flight etc. It seems a real shame to lose these. My son is overseas now and I’m hoping he made it to check in on his next flight. No longer can I see how long he has until take off unless I go and work out the time conversions ourselves. Also, the map no longer centres over the flight, you need to scroll the map to find the flight. The Sydney to LAX flight shows me a map of Africa until I move it around myself.
