Needs a overhaul of the AppWhen I pay for an App, I expect more. I have a Login and Pay my $10 a month, but instead of offering a large Login button from the beginning it asks me to sign up, all a while remembering my Login info. Second, it doesn’t maintain my favorites, and I have to look for them in the menu every time, this should be located at or near the top. Finally, I downloaded shows to watch offline, but they won’t play(I get sound but the screen goes black and unresponsive, and end up having to close out the application.) They need to completely overhaul their application in a format that not only is easier for subscribers to use, but makes it worth subscribing to begin with..Version: 2.20.2

Worked fine till it stopped.Worked great till today. Using the app on a newer Apple TV unit. I Went to go watch a couple shows and the app started to get “clunky” and extremely slow. When I was logged in first, it would let me pick a show, not when it would try to pull up the episodes then it would just be a grey screen. Every single show. I deleted and reinstalled the app and I can’t even get my account info out in to log in as it is extremely delayed and slow to choose letters and takes forever to type anything in, if you get it in at all. Not very impressed with this at all as all the other apps are working fine and it just started to happen after I selected “no” when the “do you love this app?” Pressure for a review came up. GarbageSet my account up in December was able to watch a bit but I haven’t been able to watch anything since February and now I’m still paying 7.99 a month can’t watch anything and I attempted to unsubscribe multiple times and I’m honestly done paying for nothing help developers I don’t want your trash tv unsubscribe me or show me how.Version: 4.4

Great idea, terrible performanceThe newest update has made it so I can’t even open the app on my fire stick. Thanks guys. It was bad enough that a few months ago I couldn’t search for any shows or scroll through without the app kicking me back to the main menu. Great if you want to watch on your phone. Terrible if you want to watch on a tv. But hey, they got my non-refundable $99 for the year so what do they care? I’d renew if they’d fire their developers and actually hire someone who knew what they were doing. The concept and show selection are great; the people running the tech are atrocious. Don’t waste your money. Get the Mossy Oak GO app and watch shorter clips workout the frustration..Version: 5.3

Crashing issuesI like having a streaming channel to watch my favorite hunting shows on but I’m tired of it crashing at the end of every show when I’m watching it on my tv. I don’t have this problem with any other streaming channels that I have. I’ve written a review before with this concern months ago but there hasn’t been any improvements..Version: 7.8

Great concept but delivery has a way to goOn iPhone 6s Plus. Crashes almost immediately without exception and trying to use it with chromecast is next to impossible. I have to disconnect from my device and close out of the app then re open and reconnect just to watch another video. I will be canceling before the trial is over but will keep checking in to see if it’s stable enough at a later date..Version: 2.19.3

App not workingI have been using this app for a while now with no issues. I am using an apple hdmi av hdmi adapter to stream from my iPhone to my tv so I can view a bigger screen. No issues. Now all of a sudden it won’t work. When I stream from phone to tv I get sound but video is blurred out, can’t see anything. I’ve tried 2 adapters, 2 hdmi cables, and 3 hdmi ports on my tv. Same problem. Any other app on phone will stream to tv with no issues. Do they have the app blocked from streaming now? Also tried from iPad, won’t stream. This is very dissatisfying. Crashes all the time when downloadingThis version keeps crashing while downloading content. Any episodes already downloaded during that process are all lost and have to be redownloaded again. I suppose it's better than the last version that would tell me the episode downloaded but every single episode was unwatchable... really disappointing product for something that could be pretty awesome..Version: 2.18

Worried customerI have been wanting to get this app for about 9 months now but still haven’t pulled the trigger. I have read a bunch of the reviews and it doesn’t seem like the app experience has gotten much better. With all the issues they seem to be having, there is no way I am going to pay $10 a month. They might have $10 a month worth of content, but with everything I am hearing, it doesn’t seem worth it. If they took responsibility for their failures and didn’t put the burden on the customers then I would gladly sign up (ie: lowering the cost until they put out a quality product, or reimbursement to their customers). Good content, terrible execution!I never review anything, but I’m tired of putting up with the issues. I have an iPhone 7plus with 11.2.6 update. First, why is the Sign In button so small and out of the way, but the Create an Account so large and centered? Once I sign up, I feel second class. For $10/month! Second, why is My Favorites hidden in the menus, and why does it always auto populate with shows I haven’t watched or favorited? It should be more prominent on the main screen and actually do its job of saving my couple favorites. Third, every time I try to read an episode description, the screen jumps down and I have to try and find the description again. Fourth, the screen NEVER rotates once I play. I use the physical volume buttons on TOP, because when i try to use the screen volume, the screen darkens out and I miss the part I’m trying to listen to. I have to hold my phone in the orientation I want it to play just to get the screen rotation I want. For $10 a month, I expect much better than this! Great concept. Buggy AppLove watching my fishing shows when it works. But the app is not smooth and today it’s asking me to re verify my membership - and it won’t play. Yet it still manages to very efficiently bill me. The content is great. The App and web site really need some polishing to work right. Very frustrated with it today. **Update 5/7 - I spoke with the rep at the company and they efficiently resolved my billing issue with iTunes and the web site. The app is working much better now. I need to learn how to use all of its features, in particular the favorites part. I wish it tracked what I’ve already watched much better. At this point I still think it’s not as slick as it could be but I love the content and I would give it a 4 star now that they did a good job of fixing my issue..Version: 2.20.2

Worst Video App I Have Ever UsedOn an iPhone X and this app is the worst. When watching a show and trying to fast forward or rewind the app locks up and have to close the video and restart it. When watching in landscape mode, once it’s about halfway across the screen you can’t fast forward because the little circle overlaps the white line to close the app. And on the iPad, downloading episodes causes the app to crash completely. Why there is not a fast forward or rewind button is beyond me. I hate this app so much. If it wasn’t the only way I currently have to watch Jim Shockey episodes I would delete this app (and cancel the monthly fee) in a heartbeat. As soon as I catch up on the episodes I’m behind I’m canceling my subscription..Version: 3.0.4

Not bad, could be much better.If you don’t mind starting a show, the show freezes 1 minute in, and then you have to restart the app EVERY SINGLE TIME, and sometimes you restart the app multiple times and then restart your phone and it still doesn’t work, then this is the app for you. Love the concept but it’s glitchyThe app performs very poorly on all of my Roku devices. It’s constantly freezing and then resetting the Roku back to their Home Screen. It works fine on my AppleTV. Also, sometimes when I try to login and watch my shows the content is locked even though I pay for the monthly subscription. I don’t find a ton of downtime to watch so when I do I want it to work. Don’t waste your timeI signed up for the free trial thru iTunes, and I couldn’t not gain access to the content, it kept sending me to the sign up screen. When I contacted customer support, they just passed the buck, saying it’s iTunes platform problem, after reading other reviews, I feel this is their platform problem that’s been going on for years. At $10 a month you would think you would have better service, boy I was wrong. They wanted me to uninstall they reinstall, all this for a free trial, don’t get me wrong Pigman and Meateater are great shows, but not worth this headache. Terrible appThey are lucky they have a monopoly on outdoor tv. Anyone could make a better app. Many shows won’t play they just load forever. AppleTV app definitely needs workContent in the app seems to be great, but getting to it inside the AppleTV app can be quite a challenge - to slide left to right on the remote moves opposite from any other app I’ve used, the menu button takes you out of the app instead of to the top menu, and most disappointingly of all, none of the live channels are viewable as the app closes when you select one, any one. Terrible - Kept faith for way too longI was an early adopter of this app and their subscription. I’ve been holding onto hopes that it would get better for years now. It has improved, but slowly and not remotely up to date with what a user should experience in an any app. UI is clunky, glitchy, and sometimes things just plain don’t work. The exit “X” might not be there and you may be stuck in a show. You may download content the day of your flight, and then once in airplane mode, you’ll be unable to view it with an error message saying you haven’t logged in in 30 days so they need to verify via logging in. I travel constantly and would estimate that this happens 75% of the time. For a long time I thought it was my older phone causing the issues but after upgrading realized it’s simply a bad app that if it wasn’t for the incredible content I would’ve ditched it long ago. I’m sure the individuals behind it are great at their jobs and nothing against them, however I would strongly suggest re-allocating the phenomenal amount of money spent in marketing this service to developing an easily usable, reliable, and proper app that serves the customers you already have. Only for the people who save up or have the dough.I’ve been on the fence as to whether or not to subscribe to this app. As I was reviewing the terms of what you get for the $10 a month versus the $98 a year, I noticed that you only get the premium content, if you pay the $98 a year. you also only get the extra channels if you pay the $98 a year. You also only get the long trial if you pay the $98 a year. It seems to me like the only way you get to watch all the stuff is if you can afford to pay the lump sum upfront. Well, I’m so glad that you guys, feel it necessary to skim off the top of the majority of your customers. I’m assuming that a lot of them only pay $10 a month. Constant problems.Cobalt Phoenix had a spot on review. The content is great but the app has never performed correctly. Now when I try to download a show it gets to completion and crashes and never downloads. That just one of the many issues with trying to watch videos, not to mention the numerous user friendly issues that should be addressed. I’ve been a paid subscriber for 2+ years. Great shows buggy appThe shows are great but... The app needs some serious improvements it is very buggy and crashes. Furthermore it’s confusing and not user friendly to navigate. Furthermore there needs to be a option to download high resolution video, the download quality is very low. If there is a option to download high quality video and the app is less buggy and more user friendly it would certainly get a 5 out of 5 rating..Version: 2.20.6

Downloaded content never worksThey are super slow to upload new content months after new episodes are on tv. I mainly got this to view offline content every download will not play. With no connection it just says label. Once I have a connection all the text that says label changes to the downloaded episode. Update - emailed support as they asked. No reply tried to download shows today. They download but as soon as my iPad is in airplane mode the icon changes from the show to just the word label again. Content great, service terribleLove the shows and quantity but the performance of the app and even the website is terrible. The app feels cheap and not up to the standards of even basic apps these days. The app crashes constantly. Using with chromecast requires constantly disconnecting and reconnecting to watch the next episode. I also cannot chromecast downloaded episodes to avoid buffering or crashes. The app should easily be able to let you continue watching from where you left off. Not only does it not show you where you left off but it defaults to the most recent season. Why wouldn’t your watchlist and favorites be the first thing you see? Instead it is the networks shows they are pushing. I shouldn’t have to navigate through multiple menus every time I want to watch a show. The website also seems to almost slow to a halt during peak hours which means for all those $10 fee’s they aren’t using enough servers. The website also consistently crashes or has a network error despite my internet working fine. For this type of monthly fee the app and website should be flawless. The worst app ever! Hire a QA analyst before release, pleaseTo be honest, the shows are great but this app is the worst one I've ever used. Show list loading is slooooow. When you play an episode, if you drag the progress bar, the loading icon will be there forever and you can't pause the show any more. When your internet connection is unstable, the login pop up will totally mess up your video experience. Episode scrolling is buggy that you often can't scroll up or down. With the new version released on May 2nd, I didn't see performance improvement, but suddenly found that downloaded episodes cannot play offline anymore. When I try to play an episode on subway without cellular data, the app simply crashed. Also I found that my favourite list is not functional, either - favourite shows flash to only one show in the list. How can a product like this passed QA and released to public?.Version: 1.3
