✓ Even the free features feel like a scam.Every bit of content on this spends two thirds of your time trying to sell itself to you by drowning you in biographies, publication or imdb histories, and suggestions that maybe they met a celebrity that you might trust the opinion of (and thus trust them for some reason?) hoping the more they pile on, the more likely you are to believe that these people who have no idea what they are talking about might actually have something to teach you or sell you. They do not. The remaining one third of the content is people reciting common sense as if it were innovative or some great discovery, mixed with bad non empirical science and out right woo woo nonsense. I guarantee that the creators of this don’t even believe in their product because it was clearly designed to give you garbage content and make you wait in vain for what you think you want, hoping you get frustrated enough to ironically to pay for access; only to be inevitably disappointed when you actually get what you thought you wanted. By then, they already have your money, so. It’s 100% a scam and I’m surprised Apple allows them to do business through their store..Version: 5.7.4
✓ Good courses, annoying app & organizationDISAPPOINTED. I signed up for all access, the courses seem great (the one I’m taking is amazing) but the platform is counterintuitive, glitchy and generally super annoying. The app content is actually spread out over 3 apps ... ugh. I’m supposed to have a pass for everything but the app is full of glitches and it won’t let me sign up for half of them. The courses are all digitally recorded and stream on demand, but they make you wait a week for it to start. The actual flow in the course materials in the app is counter intuitive and makes you jump around to find old content. You have to wait for the course content to unlock every week. It’s just all hurdles, barriers and hoops to jump through, I want to learn, not waste my time navigating a digital labyrinth..Version: 5.12.3
✓ Great programs, buggy appContent is fantastic and very helpful. Unfortunately I have found over the last couple months that the iPad app is consistently buggy, it’s hard to click through to courses etc. Hope the Mindvalley team can fix these problems with the iPad app so that I can improve my rating 😉.Version: 7.5.5
✓ Useless app and worst customer servicesI tried a monthly subscription ($99/month) but turned out I didn’t use the app that much as I didnt find it to be really useful. I assumed they would send me a reminder before the next billing (as other subscription services often do) to cancel the subscription. However, they billed me without sending me any notice. I reached out to the customer services asking for refund because they sent no notification althought they said they did. After showing a screenshot of my inbox mail from them, they said they’re working on it, but didn’t get back to me. I tried getting refund through Paypal, but they denied it as well. Finally, I reach out via email and still got rejected. Overall, I spend almost $200 for nothing! this app deserves 1-star review. I hope they would take it as a feedback to send a notice before billing customers!.Version: 7.7.0
✓ Doesn’t work well on iPadWhen you load a program, the lessons won’t load. Sometimes if you click on resources and go back, the lessons load. But that doesn’t always work. I don’t have those issues on my iPhone but can’t use it on my iPad which isn’t great specifically when using the fitness programs..Version: 7.5.2

✓ Poor UX (really poor)Guys, this app is so user-hately that we are always lost in it. Course, programs, quests, special programs, series, one-off session, event … what are you doing? I can’t even return to spot I was before to resume a piece (and when I asked a friend he said he’s stopped, he can’t find anything in it) And then extra purchases in app without visible pricing upfront? This is borderline tricking people !!! - At lease use icons for different type products ! - And an icon for what’s covered under membership what’s not !!! - And please get your information architecture right!.Version: 6.4.1
✓ I miss SoulvanaSoulvana was the meditation app that they had before and just combined into this app. I really preferred Soulvana. I used to use it all the time. It focused on what I want which is spiritual meditations and I just really liked the whole set up and aesthetic - had a more mystical feel. This app feels much more business spiritual if you get what I mean. Kinda like a spiritual silicone valley vibe - maybe that’s why they named it this way. Anyway, I don’t love that. But the worst thing is the price. It’s an insanely huge amount for me ($500 for a yearly subscription) and there are no lower tier offers - I don’t consider $50 a month a low tier offer which is the least amount you might pay..Version: 8.2.6
✓ SelfishJose Silva found this first and helped many people for free. He even wrote in his book that this supposed to be free. Mindvalley bought it from his family and selling these techniques so expensive!! I’m sure this would make Jose Silva feel very disappointed. I have been practicing these since I’m 13 years old. Without knowing I was actually practicing these techniques, after I lost my dad at very young age in a poor family in Turkey. I was so exited when I downloaded this app first. ✓ Purchased membership just for one program which didn’t workPurchased membership to access the second Burt Goldman program they have on offer. During the membership the program didnt work and support replied To my question with generic steps which I had already seen and tried on their FAQs anyway. Then radio silence . I tried multiple contacts including sending video screen share clearly outlining the problem. It seemed like a tech issue. 3 month later I was out of pocket for 3 month membership and still couldn’t access the program, hadn’t used app for anything else , so just cancelled membership what a waste of money. Looks like a good company for some and I’ll happily remove this review if support can actually help me either by refunding me for the 3 months or giving me 3 months access to the other Burt Goldman program. ✓ App is so so buggy and unreliableI love the concept but the app is so unreliable. I payed for the full access to the Silva program and meditations. There is one meditation that is so powerful that I do it every morning (centering exercise 4 with theta beats, it’s one of the best meditations I have ever done and I meditate a lot) But about once a week the meditation or App is frozen or not available. We are supposed to be able to access the meditations off line but this is actually not possible, so if you don’t have Wi-Fi you can’t access them. It’s silly because who wants a call to come through what’s app if you are meditating. Customer support response was ‘we are aware of the problem and we are working on it ‘ (it’s been a year since I have purchase the program and still no change). Today was the last straw, I’ve opened the meditation and no words left, just dolphin music. Very unreliable.Version: 6.6.2

✓ Disappointed Very FrustratedI purchased a course a couple of months ago and despite innumerable attempts and many frustrating hours with and without “ customer support” I have not been able to access this ‘ extraordinary ‘ program . Rodrigo from customer support gave me a number to ring where I would actually be able to speak to a human being when I was finally able to find the time to do this ( corona virus having thrown big spanners in our life works )the dam page had disappeared only to be replaced by a useless 404 error page and another useless email address. ✓ Unfortunate GreedI originally loved the app and the culture that I bought into. I quickly realized that I wasn't utilizing the app for what the cost was. Most courses are framed for people that do not live in the US, timing and availability. Therefore, I didn't see the value, plus I needed to cut back on expenses and seriously budget with my income ceased. I was charged $399 for membership and cancelled it right away. I didn't see a reminder email nor is this something that showed in my subscriptions under Apple ID on phone, where I manage subscriptions. I read the refund policy and it states it's a case by case basis, so I wrote support an email. They were very quick to respond that they wouldn't give a refund. I suppose I was hopeful that a company of this size and culture would treat their members with more care and understanding. ✓ Horrendous, woeful, shameful customer “service”I paid for a membership via PayPal on 8th Jan 2022 and never got any signup link or have been able to access anything. Have been trying in vein get help from ‘support’ ever since. After 2 will weeks of wasting my time and getting nowhere, I’m going to log a dispute with PayPal. I obviously can’t comment on the app itself, but it certainly makes you wonder when they invest so little into customer service. ✓ Doesn’t register that I only speak English and that I’m a subscriberI just download this app, paid $500 for programs that truly do not seem to be worth it. Before the app told me I was no longer a subscriber and I needed to purchase another $500 round within an hour of already paying $500, I clicked on to two of the programs thinking that I was about to learn how to a tap into my intuition, the become a stronger leader. However, three videos in on each program and I have yet to learn a thing due to the fact that the videos at the beginning of the series are the speakers just talking about themselves how they were raised over and over again. They do not get to the point. As a business owner I don’t have hours to listen to nonsense. Then in trying to watch this on my smart TV it will only show me videos that are dubbed in Spanish with no option to change it. And on top of that now says that I am no longer a subscriber, even though I have paid for a year. ✓ Misleading! Beware bait and switch!I was given the impression that when I subscribed that I would have access to all Masterclass courses. I have access to nothing. I’m not paying $99 per month to have access to an app that provides access to one provided meditation. All masterclasses are an additional fee on top of the monthly subscription, which is not what any of the marketing communicated. Furthermore I have followed the directions for a refund but that option is only available if you have purchased an additional Masterclass on top of you app fee. I want to cancel my subscription to this app (for its misleading business practices) but that option is not available anywhere! Calling my credit card company next! ✓ After taking your money they disappearI really think that their free masterclasses are really good but the big problem is their REACTIVITY and customer support that is NON existant( they are stating that they need 2 days to reply and they never do). While using the mindvalley app, you will face many technical issues. And all of those times you have to reach out to people in the group you are studying with to, sometimes,get an answer ( never an official announcement from their part) Some of their paying program level of service is way beneath the free class they deliver( zoom calls that you paid for and can't get in because the number is maxed out) A subscription that you pay for and then they decide to archive all their facebook community pages and they never answer you messages on their website, instagram page and facebook. ✓ Sketchy Subscription, Not Worth ItI canceled my subscription and received confirmation email verifying that I did. I was then charged $100 for the next month’s subscription. I contacted customer service and they said there’s nothing that they could do. Ok, fine. I decided I’d use the app for another month. When I went to go use the app after my account was charged, I didn’t have access to any of the content that I previously did. All of the prompts redirected me back to resubscribing. How does this make sense?! I was already charged for the month (which I did not want) and now they won’t let me access the content. ✓ Did not work with apple paymentI subscribed to Mindvalley monthly via apple subscriptions. Although my apple subscription was successful, I don’t have access to any of the programs on Mindvalley platform. I tried to restore purchase on Mindvalley app several times and even double checked my bank account to be sure that the payment was recorded. Unfortunately none of this helped with gaining access to my programs or quests. Every time I get the same screen asking to subscribe. ✓ Buggy AppApp keeps crashing after it asks me to fill in preferences for what I wish to see in the app. If I skip that and try to create an account with my email, it crashes, so I have to create an account using Facebook. Then it asks me to finish filling in information in my profile. When I do and try to save, it gives me an error, so I have to go back and give up on filling in profile. Then I try to subscribe to the paid version of the app to be able to access courses. I click on the “Subscribe to Mindvalley” valley and the button doesn’t work. ✓ Constant Up-sellThe quests I have done so far are beneficial, but the constant up-selling is so annoying. One of the selling points of the app is live events. I prefer live events, I just tend to engage more. All three live events I have attended were sales pitches. I’ve already spent so much on this subscription, why are they asking me for $600+ for programs not included in the subscription? For example: When I log into the app today the first thing I see is an advertisement for 90 day body transformation. They want $899 to join this program. This is in addition to the $499 subscription yearly subscription. I am now being inundated with emails to pay more for these programs. I would not recommend this app. I don’t feel like the subscription itself was worth it, and they tease you with the programs that really could be beneficial just to ask for more $$$. ✓ Lacking integrityThis company is not awesome - I enjoyed their product a few years ago, enough to purchase a 50$ app - within 3 years this app is no longer available for download. I contact the company and they have me download their new app and add this content from my previous purchase to my “library” in their new app. I have to be online to use this app which is super inconvenient for where I live and so now I don’t have readily available access to the content I purchased. I get bombarded with adds now, and it’s super annoying and inconvenient - not worth the 50$ I spent for the 6 tracks that are now scattered in a few different files in my new “library”. I don’t like it at all - this is not what I paid for - and to make such changes in a short amount of time is a bit unethical imo - they don’t seem to be willing to refund me or make things right with their customers. ✓ HORRIBLE customer serviceI paid a Evercoach membership, but I never have full access to it. I reached out to customer service, it connects me with Shikha Bhakri. I sent her messages and emails more than a month ago. She always reply 4-7days later, and my problem is still not solved. The only time she replied within 24hours is when I replied the problem has not solved, she said “Can you try uninstalling the app and installing again??”. Thank you for that double question mark. ✓ Disgusting service if you need helpI signed up because the service was offering coaching help via the mobile app, it has been months now and the feature has been unavailable, I’ve been trying to contact help for over 6 months and I can’t speak with anyone, Every time I have a conversation with someone they leave the conversation or don’t reply. The customer service is DISGUSTING. As a long standing customer I feel ignored and treated like I don’t matter for over half a year. They have robbed me of hundreds of pounds offering a service they have not provided. I have a young family of three and I invested in this to help my business and they took my money and left my family and business worse off. ✓ Terrible app and customer serviceThe programs are okay but customer service, although cordial, are not helpful. I paid for an annual membership to access all the programs that I want, but the app kicked me out of a workout program on days 35 and is now forcing me to start the program over at day 1! So even when you pay $500 for an annual membership, you don’t really get to access the programs when you want. The only ‘solution’ customer service has offered so far is telling me to update the app, which I’ve done twice but it hasn’t fixed the issue with me getting access to day 36 of the workout program. And the app hangs up constantly whenever I try to open or move within a program. You get screens with gray pulsating boxes that seem to get hung up for a long time before you can get to the next screen. And any time you try to move around within the program, it does this over and over, so you lose a lot of time and you lose your momentum in the program/course. So I have a membership that I can only partially use and they don’t give refunds. If they don’t fix the issues, I”ll have to go through my credit card company to reverse the charges..Version: 5.13.4
