✓ A great photo manipulation app...For kids. This app offers nothing more than what is already offered by Lightroom or any other generic "Cam" or "Editor" apps. It's far from being polished and feels like a really cheap tool with a descent looking design. Also, most of the tools also lack fundamental features of good photo editor apps. I can't see a single reason why this app is in the top paid section. I don't recommend it at all; Try using Lightroom along with better apps to do things like layering, blending or even add stickers if that's your thing..Version: 1.2
✓ A COOL APP THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED!This used to be a cool photo editing app. I paid to have it upgraded. I couldn't figure out why the app wasn't on my phone anymore until I realized this was the app. I understand of rebrand, but this is not even a rebrand. This is just a completely different app now. How can you do that? Why can't you just make a new app? Why would you change the entire app to be AI? AI at this point is not even original or necessary because nearly EVERY photo app offers Ai. This app used to be so original because you could edit and change colors/hues. I could never find any apps that did it the way this app used to but now I can't even do it at all. It's just a ridiculous AI app that does nothing. This is ridiculous and I don't even know how Apple would even allow this to happen? Can they just change an app completely like this? ✓ What Happened?I've been using this app for a while now, and it was my go to app for all things photo editing. However, in the past update the color shade adjusting button has disappeared and has not been replaced or added to another feature within the app. Without this feature it's very difficult to edit photos with only their preset filters that are provided. Please bring it back!!!!!! With those features this app is an easy 5 star. With out that fundamental feature this app is no longer the premiere photo editing app..Version: 2.1

The update is trash and premium features are now behind a paywall. The former photoshopping tools that are still on this app are a shadow of their former capabilities. ✓ End of an eraWhen I got this app it was LightX and it was absolutely fantastic for editing photos on the fly. I was impressed with what you could do for free compared to other photo editing apps on the market. After a few weeks, I went ahead and paid for the full version as the developers clearly put a massive effort in this app. Today, I am reviewing my pending app updates and see a new app that I know I didn’t download with “AI” in the name. Slightly confused, I checked the app history and see that it is LightX and thought maybe they are adding AI capabilities to my already paid app (for an additional cost of some kind, of course) but upon reading the app description, I see that it actually turns the app I already paid for into an annually billed subscription service. I am so glad I take the time to read these app updates prior to blindly clicking the update button. I know the developers are going to send a canned apology but, please, there is no need for the theatrics. You have some great developers and I am sure your AI app is great but I am not interested in paying any subscription fee for something I occasionally tweak my mobile phone photos on. Looks like this is where we part ways. Thank you for the years of use, LightX. Tapping delete is a far less cruel way to erase you from existence than updating you to another annual subscription AI artistry app. You will be missed but never forgotten..Version: 4.0.1
✓ I paid for this, what happened?The new update came out and just deleted the app I paid money for. When LightX came out, I bought it, and I still use it today. But now they want to remove ability to use the app I PAID for with an “update” that adds “AI” features that I never wanted. If it were an addition, I would be fine with it, but it’s not. The old app is gone. If you’re also confused what happened to LightX, it’s gone. This isn’t an upgrade, it’s a downgrade they want you to pay for, and I won’t. ✓ Works sometimesAfter reading many positive reviews I bought the app. I found the cutout tool to be very hit and miss. Mostly miss unfortunately. For some reason I can't zoom when doing the cutout which makes it practically impossible on a phone sized device with anything not large in the frame. Maybe it's better on an iPad. "Retouch" does better at the cutout and healing brush type of tools I've found. In summary, it works sometimes, then it's great, other times it's just easier to use photoshop. Lastly the tutorials get really annoying. It's pretty straightforward to use the app because it's like many others. The tutorials should be opt-in not mandatory..Version: 2.1
✓ These amazing reviews are from a different app!Up until about two weeks ago, this app was called LightX and almost every review you see here is from that app. This new app “AILeap” is completely different and was forced onto existing paid customers who purchased LightX. I am a prior paid user to LightX, which I have been very fond of. This new AI app that you created should not have been pushed to your current LightX users. Yes, I see the plus button to edit photos similar to how it used to be. I don’t want all this extra garbage and begging for AI subscriptions every time I log into something I have already paid for. As far as I am concerned, you stole from me. You should’ve just made a separate app, not overwrite your existing app in an update in order to trick existing clients into subscribing. I already have an AI app that I use, I don’t want yours. ✓ Sharing the sentiments of many other "burned" LightX purchasers.I absolutely loved the original LightX app (no not the newer subscription service version) but the one-time fee one. It was super simple, effective and did all I needed it to do. Today I find out not only was I force updated to this new AI app, but despite avoiding their newer apps with subscription fees they forced this update - took away access to the LightX app which I had paid for - and now require a subscription for the same features I used to already own. ✓ Needs WorkThe app is good and offers a lot of features that are desirable for a mobile editing app. An issue I have with the app is its problem with precision. I found myself getting very annoyed using the select and erase options when editing hoar color in selfie. it would randomly make the whole background a certain color or ye "brush" or lines you drew with fingers were too big which resulted in me erasing a lot of what I made.
