✓ Worst customer serviceI initially spent $30 on this game and that ended up costing me over $600. This company made three unauthorized withdraws from my bank account, totally around $600. I could not reach anyone by phone, as the number on their website is not in service. Reached them by email and it was like pulling teeth. Finally they have “cancelled” the payments but I have yet to receive my money back. However even after winning beyond all that (I lost most of it, then from games ended up winning over $60), when you withdraw it’ll take $30 away from you. It crashes a lot and when I did great it “loses” the score, and you can appeal to get your money back. They’re sneaky, though: I’ve done this and got an email saying the money was refunded and it never was. Watch carefully. However, when you lose or have a bad game it somehow saves the score when it crashes... then they changed the minimum game price (increased the cost to enter a game) after I had put money in. Then it’s supposed to match you up randomly or to equal skills, but then it matched me up to someone I lost to several games in a row in a tournament so of course I instantly lost because the person is better than I am. Playing non-tournament games same issue: lost 6 times in a row, won 2, lost 3 more. It doesn’t set you up to even skill-level like it leads you to believe. They also have misleading titles: “$26 in prizes guaranteed” for a tournament: then when you win the whole tournament, you only get $15. You’ll lose money. ✓ Fun at first, riggedIt’s always fun and addicting for me to play solitaire. I played with their z dollars and tried a little real money too. At first there were numerous tournaments for me to enter both paid and z dollars. The more I played I noticed the tournaments started disappearing. I contacted customer service and was told that players start the tournaments and those tournaments are then played at the staring players skill level and only open to players with the same skill level. So then I asked how I find my skill level- well “that is not available and there is no current date as to when it will be made available”. Then I asked how I can start tournaments and the answer was that all those positions have been filled and no new positions would be opening up in the near future. So I continued to play with limited options and only with z dollars. Once I used all my real money I continued to play only z dollars. It seems odd to me that I went from winning 2 out of 3 hands to winning less then 1 out of 8. All of a sudden almost every deck I am dealt is not playable, most times can’t even get 1 card up. I am usually beat by my opponent with less then 10 points between us. I wonder why they would discourage me from playing even if I stopped using real money? ✓ The Game Is Rigged!!!I enjoyed playing this game for a few weeks while I was playing the practice rounds that only cost the in game money. After getting pretty good at solitaire I put 10 dollars in my account and started playing for money tournaments and head to head games, and after playing for weeks it’s obvious the game is cheating. No matter what you get most of the times your opponent will get a few hundred points higher(which isn’t much). Even in games when there’s nowhere to go and no cards to put down the opponent will always get just a bit higher. Also the prices to play money matches are unfair. If you bet 3 bucks you can only win 5. You never can double your money so the game will have you lose 8 times in a row and then you win 1 and barely get any money back. It’s messed up! Plus the way they score you is just plain retarded. It makes no sense! I won’t go into detail on this one but trust me, I’ve been constantly trying to figure it out and I looked it up but I come up empty handed eveytime. If your gonna download this game I suggest only playing the practice games and NEVER PUT MONEY IN AT ALL!!!! I’ve read some other reviews which I suggest you do to. But it comes off like a typical gambling site, when you first join you seem to win easily and win a lot. Then immediately after the initial few plays you find yourself losing constantly. ✓ No way am I giving them any more money..I originally downloaded this game a few years back, enjoyed playing it, although questioned whether I was actually playing real people? I stopped playing for awhile but came back to it several months ago. I was having problems signing in so I scrapped it and opened a new account. Played that account for several months and wanted to use my rewards points in the rewards center but the rewards center wasn’t showing, just a blank page. I sent in a support ticket and was told that because I had my original account showing on their end, they canceled my account that I’ve solely used for over a year. They transferred my funds but wiped out my rewards points that I earned spending my REAL MONEY. 1.4 million rewards points. They said that they can’t transfer rewards points and if that’s the case, why not let me spend them and get $100 game play to put back in the game?? It would only be more money in their pocket because we know I would’ve just dumped it back into the game. Instead, when I asked about it, they referred me to their game rules stating something about cheating and fraud, insinuating that I was somehow trying to cheat them. There are several weird things in the setup of the game though, hence my rating. The setup games are easy enough, gives you a taste and a solid run through. It asks if you want to play a cash game, and you’re led to a screen that asks for a cash deposit. One positive here is that they accept PayPal; if they hadn’t, I wouldn’t have even gone this far. You have to deposit at least $10 to play your first game, and - here’s where it gets sketchy - THEN they ask for your location to see if you’re even eligible to play these types of games. I live in SC, so I’m not, but I was unaware until after the transaction had been fully completed. I went to withdraw my $10 I deposited, and I got an email saying it takes 4-6 WEEKS for the money to show back up in the account. So you can take/accept money in about 30 second, but it takes a month and a half to get it back? Seems sketchy for sure. When you deposit money and play the cash matches, you’re very likely to lose all of it at the end because losing hurts more than winning helps. For example, if you lose a game, and then win a game, you still lost some amount of money. The only way to make money through this game is to win majority of the games you play (which obviously is very difficult) or play and win a game with high stakes (also very difficult). Basically you have to be beast at this game if you’re looking to get some extra cash, otherwise whatever cash you deposit you’ll be likely to lose. They had a deal where you deposit $5 and they give you $10 in bonus cash. At first I was doing well, but then they took away the lowest stakes option for me and the lowest stakes became $0.60 per game (entry fee) (whereas before it was $0.25 per game). That’s when I started losing cash and i now do not have enough money in my account to play more games unless i deposit more. ✓ Very annoyingOk, so while I enjoy playing the games in general, there are too many system glitches that are just plain obnoxious. For starters, when you deposit funds into you account (which I do via PayPal), the only option I had to withdraw any money would be in the form of a check (which a $1.50 processing fee). I reached out to customer service asking if I could withdraw back into my PayPal since that’s faster and more preferable, but I was informed that I could only receive a check and it would take a number of weeks. Secondly, they offer little bonuses on the form of “trophies,” one of which requires a streak of ten games per day for a month, or three months, or a year. I live in California and apparently, this platform works on a completely different time zone, so the day “expires” by 4PM Pacific Standard Time. So the majority of the day in which this quota would need to be met is when I’m asleep. It’s bogus and has caused me to lose a lot of streaks as it is. There have been multiple instances where the app has crashed in the middle of the game, which is when I have to reach out to customer service to report the crash if there’s any money involved. ✓ ❌❌❌Skillz stole from me! ❌❌❌❌❌❌ Let me explain why after 3 years of playing, numerous Skillz black coins sent to my home, and tons of time sharing with others to join, only to stop using the app unless I’m really bored and want to play the Skillz practice token matches only or with random free Skillz funds. When playing a match (for CASH/funds) and you lose to the opponent, you can not review the match to see what went wrong on your part or where the opponent did better than you IF Skillz didn’t give you the replay if they so choose! But they will give you the replay for other matches that are clearly understood why you had lost such as you knew you were slower than normal or the match wasn’t your best, etc. The funny part is they even say they won’t give you every game replay even though they do have the ability to. My suggestion to the developers: once the replay (of every match) has been played or not touched in a set amount of time, delete the replay so you can offer replays on ALL matches. I would have low win streaks and then all of a sudden there was no match to be found and got the “awaiting opponent” nonsense or even worse, the game started crashing all of a sudden and soon I had racked up quite a few “aborted” games. Cash games started up fair in the beginning where you would get playable hands and could score at least 1k points easily. Here is my biggest hang-up: the betting feature is a complete scam. And I’ll tell you why... Say I go to Vegas and play a card game. Let’s say I bet $1 on a hand and I win. I would effectively get $2 back (the $1 that I bet initially, plus the $1 the house owes me for winning). Pretty simple concept, right? Ok, so in this game, I can bet $0.25 to enter a match. Then all of a sudden, I’m matched with one person consecutively for the next 4-5 matches and lose all of my money. It never fails. They say they use some sort of algorithmic formula, and it’s based on skillset of two people. If I’m beat by someone 3 times in a row, what would tell anyone that we match in skillset? ✓ This game should be off the App StoreFirstly I just wanna day I would give this 0 stars if possible but its not. So I got this game to try it out, and then only used a small amount of money for it but then quickly realized that I’m not going to actually make any money off of it so I go to withdraw and the only available option is check even though I put the money in with PayPal and then the email I got says it takes 4-6 weeks for the check to process. Also when you initially deposit money in it says it gives you “bonus cash” which it doesn’t because after I put in the withdraw request it disappeared which didn’t really surprise me but it just doesn’t make sense why they give you “bonus cash” that can’t be used in games and virtually has no purpose but to trick the user into think they have more money than the actually do. ✓ BEWARE- Rigged cash games - bots.So I finally decided to download the game to see what all the hype was about. I played a few practice games and I seemed to always win weather it was playing against a computer or a human. After playing for several practice games I decided to deposit money into the account. I found it strange that once I started playing cash games, I was only facing robots with odd player names and I went from always winning to always losing when I was playing the $50,$20 and $10. The only time I won was once with the $1 game. I came close to winning in the other games by a way of a tie and then the tie breaker I conveniently was only able to score around 200 points and the robot or human with an odd user name scored over 2,000 making me lose the match. I have even entered tournaments and lost every one except for when I had $3-$5 left. As soon as I made my deposits. I would lose on every match. I am not new to online cash games, and I know when a site is rigged. This one is absolutely rigged without a doubt. BEWARE!!! This is not to say they do not have a fun game concept, but it is only good for the play points not really cash. I just don’t believe that this app isn’t rigged and that they don’t have bots playing disguised as humans with the odd player names. They got me for over $100. It was a lesson learned. ✓ The game cheats when you play for real moneyI loaded $15 dollar to this game and lost every dime. It just so happens the game ha a replay feature where you can watch you game and your opponent in a side by side view and my last game played I could only get 20 points because there were no other moves I could do so when I was done the other player was still going and I was wondering how but when the game finally ended it showed the other persons points was over 1000 so naturally I went to the replay to see how the heck they got that many points from such a bad spread and their cards was totally different from mine and so before I contacted the game I watched. Few more of my games ones that I won and lost and both sets of cards were always the same except some games the feature to watch the replay is not available so that leads me to wonder if they cheated me entirely out of my $15. This game is not worth it it seems like the developers are the only ones that are winning. To play to win $1 you have to pay them $0.60 so really you are just playing for $0.40. Then when you are playing sometimes you don’t have an opponent so they match someone to you later in which they probably change the cards in some cases because you may win 2 games then you lose 4 it’s like a pattern of winning and losing so when it is all said and done you walk away with no money to cash out..Version: 1.24
✓ Not fun anymoreI’ve spent months playing this game almost every day and in the end I just find that it’s lost it’s fun. The matching algorithm consistently matches you with players that are slightly more skilful or lucky to have better cards than you. I’ve played many games where I reach my highest score of the day and still lost out by 2-10 points. The high occurrence of tie breaker games also indicate that many games are purposely matched to have the same amount of moves. I think if the game provided more info about each match like number of moves, time, number of mistakes against an opponent then it might keep me engaged so I can improve my skills but as it is, it just seems random and predetermined. ✓ Absolutely HorrificThere’s better solitaire games out there. All these reviews are lies. You’ll have more fun playing solitaire with a irl pack of cards. The rng of how the cards are distributed is appalling. You start the game with 90% the same color. Have 0-1 starting move. And when you draw cards. The chance to have 3 of the same numbers in a row is as high as 70% every game. The most frustrating and most bs in solitaire. You’re supposed to move cards up and back down when and if you need it, but this game penalizes you for it. Not to mention matches are 5 minutes long but you get an irritating notification every minute. “4minutes left”, gee I had no idea I started this match 1 MINUTE AGO. not to mention the reason ppl dl this game is due to ads in other games saying you can win irl cash. Which is not even true remotely. If you do this and play, prepare for a world of nightmare as I told you so. ✓ Asked me for money THEN told me there were no tournaments near me.I would appreciate a refund for the money invested to participate in tournaments as there are apparently none in my area. This should be recognised before allowing the player to purchase in-game funds as this is now useless to me.
