✓ A GAME CRASHING GAME. (CAVE IN)Like many other people’s reviews this game will continuesly CRASH! For example, when you activate all workers in any mineral mine & then enter another mineral mine it will CRASH! Activating all workers in any mineral mine and then you decide to BOOST all mineral mines by 4hrs it will CRASH! Activating BOOST all mineral mines by 4hrs & then you BOOST all mineral mines by another 4hrs it will CRASH! So you end up loosing both BOOSTS. By selling your 1st worker for full price & then selling your 2nd worker for full price it will CRASH! This happens when you have to watch a video/ad. Whenever trying to enter The Mainland Mine it will CRASH, CRASH, CRASH, CRASH, CAVE IN!!!!! Impossible to enter. You may well lose something whilst purchasing items, when the game CRASHES! But you’ll of paid for it. I don’t believe it’s my device, as that works perfectly well with the other games I have. If it turns out to be my device then it’s time to end this game completely. Still, when all these issues are solved this game is still enjoyable, but beware of future issues. Perhaps it’s time to upgrade the list of devices it will work on..Version: 2.85.1

✓ Good but flawedThis is quite a challenge, and consequently I enjoy it. However, the idea of a self playing idle game, is that in our absence it continues. When I reload it, the video is often not available, and I can’t get any bonuses! I am connected to the internet, and a few mins later it is fine, so it appears to be a bug, and a rather large one at that! Having played the game for 36 hours (I hate the screen time report!!) I have not managed to complete the New Years challenge. I put this down to two things, one the fact that the relaunch bonus fails, and secondly without investment of real money, you can not complete this. Because of this, I can not rate the game well. It needs fixing, and by the time it is, I will have uninstalled it!.Version: 2.28.1
✓ DisgracefulI was going to do a nice review as this game is great but then I was messaging what I thought was like a robot and it said describe how this game is so I wrote great and then it responded with thank you a human will get in touch with you tomorrow between so and so time. I typed no and cancel but it just ignored me. How do they have my number? This is disgraceful and they’re giving false advertising and NOWHERE in the review did it say that I would be getting a phone call. Absolutely appalled. Now that my problem has been resolved, I do feel much happier about the app but would not be downloading it again in the future. Misunderstanding but still do not recommend. ✓ Small drop rate on higher priced itemsI don’t hate this game whatsoever. I’ve personally played a ton of it. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen a company that is as greedy as this one. Every single thing is gated behind an in game currency that can be unlocked by purchasing or for playing for ever. I’m not complaining about the currency itself but the prices of the items to buy. It almost guarantees the players money to be spent. One suggestion is to not make the game so grindy, as in having to play countless hours to have just enough money to buy a reward that has a small chance in giving something worth all the time you just spent playing. Another suggestion is to remove the whole chance system on high priced items in offers or the shop. I can understand it on lower priced items but playing for countless hours to buy something that only has a small chance of giving you something you want is unfair. So to conclude my review please try to fix the whole system of chance on higher priced items. Like legendary chests etc.I do believe this would help the game because players would feel rewarded for all the time they just spent on your game. Hope this review finds you well. ✓ Ads are to muchThe ads are becoming too much, I’m a long time player well in comparison to other games also I spend a lot with in app purchases more than any other game I play. But the ads are too much they’re not even 30 second ads anymore the 30 second ads you can’t close for another 10 seconds and now they’re combining ads so you have to choose one and then it plays after that so it can drag an ad out to a minute. I love the game and claim my bonus with the ads but for paying players you need to cut the ads or reduce them to 5 second ads 15 seconds max. I’ve spent a couple hundred more than I would on ps4 games cut me some slack with these ads!.Version: 2.94.0

✓ Stole my moneyHave been playing this game daily for a couple of years, so clearly it’s my go-to time killer. Enjoy the simplicity and there is no real penalty if you don’t play often. I have spent quite a bit of money in packs for this game ($1000+). Never had any issues until last week when several of my boosts that are available via purchase disappeared from my inventory. I thought this was strange but understand glitches do happen. So I contacted them to let them know, after a bunch of back and forth, still no resolution and no end in sight. I don’t have the luxury of going back and forth on email all day due to the whole having to work a job to support my family. Items I purchased with my own real world money should not be arbitrarily taken from my account, then absolutely zero concern on their end to make it right. Ultimately disputed through Apple and got last 3 months of purchases refunded ($350) I guess this is a good deal since what was taken from inventory was only worth maybe $20. Unfortunately now I choose not to play a game that is able to steal my hard earned dollars. Stay away if you are the type to make in game purchases..Version: 2.65.1
✓ PURELY CASH GRAB GAMEWhenever I play a game I like to be able to get all achievements but sadly they make it impossible if you don’t spend a bunch of money, like serious money going into the hundreds. The special events are impossible to achieve without spending serious money as well as the islands where you gotta forge keys. To get all 3 medals, you have to complete the island within a day. After seeing if this was possible with playing normal, it is not. I used thousands of in game cash to get token boosts and everything. During the 24 hours trying to achieve the final medal I had used over 20x1hr x2, 5x5min x50, 1hr x50, 2x1hr x20, 2x1hr x100, 2x5min x100, 13x5min x10 and 4x1hr x10 and still hardly put a dent in getting the achievement. The game is completely rigged so if you want to get the achievements you have to pay a lot of money, possibly thousands of real dollars. It’s total bull to do this in a game. I highly suggest you select one of the better idle games out there because there are thousands of better ones. They do not keep customer in mind and only want your money so they also shove offers down your throat and prominently show them as well which is annoying. If you think spending the couple bucks to get the always x2 will help, it won’t. This game doesn’t want you to succeed or care if you enjoy it, they are a scam..Version: 3.71.0
✓ It’s good now and then but requires effort to seriously progresI liked to play idle miner a lot at first until getting far enough. Unlocking the ice continent isn’t exactly as exciting as I thought. The original mine is already a great deal off effort and strategy to advance efficiently. Between swapping managers around, being sure they are running their abilities, and buying into what’s needed. That’s fine to deal with but with all the different minerals on a continent it gets difficult. Then prestige on all of them and tracking progress of them all is tough. Then there’s a freaking ice continent with different currency and stuff. And I just gave up trying because I saw I’d be unlocking all these minerals on ice continent and a whole fire continent like what the heck.. then there’s event mine, like all games have, that needs worked on. So for me way too many things to track to progress at a good pace. Maybe I’m a noob or my managing skills are bad but I think it’s way to much. PS managers are meaningless when I have to be there anyway to activate them.. so instead of tapping the little guys and making them run around I just press buttons for managers anyways. ✓ BuggyThe adverts crash the game all the time. I don't mind watching an advert for a boost but when it crashes time after time it's wearing my patience down. At the moment I cannot boost my mine by watching a video it always crashes despite rebooting my iPad. It's also quite tedious now I don't really get much from seeing slightly different backgrounds every time I move down a mine or to a new mine that's not much of a reward. There's chests that give you new levels of Manager but so far I've had dozens and don't really see much effect, in fact most of the new ones are less powerful (x1.5 for example when I already have x2) so I really don't see the point. You can kinda tell this game wasn't designed from the start and the developer is just adding new features to try and keep us interested. Overall it's ok for a few days but soon tires..Version: 2.1.3

✓ Fun game, terrible battery performanceDespite Milliegolf’s Nov 4 review, this game really is pretty easy to learn and play. The game gives you hints while it’s loading, and one of them is to upgrade your elevators and warehouses. That’s likely all that Milliegolf needed to do. If you just look around, you can identify bottlenecks to cash flow and upgrade the right things. I have also played AdCap and prefer Idle Miner. I’ve been playing the game for a couple of weeks now and really enjoy it. It’s simple to play, but you still have to think about strategy to speed up your progress. I have two complaints: 1) battery consumption is ridiculous, and sadly this week’s update (1.45.0, which claims awesome performance improvements) did not fix the issue. I’m not sure what performance was improved because everything else worked fine before. 2) there’s far too much reliance on watching ads to speed up progress. Without the ads, progress is slow enough that you might abandon the game entirely. With the ads, you can easily spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game. I would rather pay a fee up front to gain the boosts instead of having to watch ads all the time. Unfortunately, the only things you can purchase give you bonuses but do not let you eliminate the ads. It appears that the developer is very responsive, so I’m keeping my hopes up for further improvements. For now, it’s another fun way to kill some time..Version: 1.45.0
✓ “A gift for you”It’s a fun game until you start getting the pop up “a gift for you” which is an ad for a small reward. I wouldn’t have an issue with it if I could refuse the gift, but you can’t… you are forced to watch the ads unless you exit the app. What’s worst is that it pops up every 5 minutes! ✓ Love the game but not the crashesFirst off this is a great and very addictive game! I also love that rather than making every game perk a micro-transaction you have the option to watch an advert to speed up progression. That said it will eat your battery and gets very frustrating with how often it crashes, presumably due to the amount of memory it uses. The astonishing frequency with which this game crashes is the only reason for the 2* review. Sometimes it seems to crash at random but I’ve noticed several things that seem to vastly increase the chances of having a crash: Switching Mines, Starting a New Mine, Collecting Quest Rewards and also trying to activate any of the aforementioned advert perks (2xBoost, 2xIdle Collect, etc). The most frustrating thing for me though is when you successfully redeem a quest reward then try and go back to the mine you were in and it crashes. When this happens it shows the new quest you started and not the one you just finished but you still lose all the quest items you just received! I’ve lost at least 4 20x multipliers and over a dozen 10x multipliers because the game crashed! So its a great game, just needs some serious memory optimisation and stability fixes rather than new features!.Version: 2.36.0
✓ Game ALWAYS CRASHESSomewhat long time player and I almost got to the fire island, however I'm considering stopping. Reason why is that the game crashes so dang often. On average, my game crashes about once every 3-5 min, if I turn off wifi, it lasts a bit longer. Whenever I try to watch a video, the game crashes either at the start or end, some times middle, 9/10 times, not exaggerating. I end up watching a video so many times just for a stupid bonus, I don't even bother reducing wall times anymore because of how much it crashes! I think the issue is wifi related however I play this in different locations, and even where the wifi is best, the game still crashes 3/10 times on a video! There has no be a way around this, either have the videos pre loaded or load them as you click the play button then have it not use wifi anymore. This makes this really fun game almost unplayable for me, esp since the crashing got worse the further I progressed in the game (thinking it has something to do with the huge numbers you reach). ✓ Idle miner tycoonThis is a great little game but unfortunately it’s greatly spoilt by two things firstly like most games these days it is interrupted by too many advertisements it just seems you spend more time watching so many adverts than actual playing time and secondly is the amount of times this game crashes and I have found that to get on in the game you almost have to do things several times before you can achieve what you want because it goes back to where you last left the game. I have now got to the point were I have got so fed up with it that I’m going to have yo ditch the game which is a shame because as I said it’s a great little game but so frustrating if the the makers could improve upon this I would return to the game but until they do then adios amigos..Version: 2.94.0
✓ More like idle crash tycoonI used to love this app, and I've had it for multiple years. I also got the factory one around half a year ago. But for MULTIPLE MONTHS this app (and even MORE the factory version) has had a MASSIVE crashing problem. I've literally waited for months for SOMETHING to be done about this, but each time I get excited after an update and try the app again the issue is STILL there. The final straw was the most recent update from a few days ago: an OVER 100MB update (so I couldn't get it until today when I finally remembered and had internet) that STILL failed to address this MASSIVE issue. The bug works like this: I load up the app, and all is fine until I decide to go to the map/a different mine after more than 90 seconds of having the app open, where it abruptly crashes. I'm at a high level, so now it's virtually impossible to make daily checks on all of my mines, because that would requireat least 10 re-openings of the app, not including events, lost saves, and crashes that happen at other times during play. The problem is FAR worse in the factory one, like I said in my review for it..Version: 2.41.1
✓ Pretty Cool if only it didn't crash all the timeFirst the bad stuff. This constantly crashes as it's so memory hungry. It's so bad at this that it's really really annoying. Now the good stuff. This is seriously addictive. For some reason I feel the need to get to the next level again and again. I think that might be because there is a final level off in the distance, but then each element has its own levels, each mine shaft, lift and warehouse too can all be upgraded to extremely high levels and each increase is more expensive than the last so to max out everything is I guess the ultimate goal. Of course doing so wouldn't really achieve anything but the need to work towards it is there. It's pretty cool too that it keeps working when it's not being played. Not as fast mind you but if you leave it for a day you'll have earned many coins. I've seen a comment that buying new managers when the ones you get are seemingly random costs all your idle cash and is frustrating. I sympathise with that one. Of course you can sell them again and get your cash back. What I'd like to know is whether selling back the ones you don't need influences what manager is available to buy or by keeping them do you take them out of the purchase pool and so increase your chance of getting the one you want and then you can sell back the others?.Version: 2.29.0
✓ Good game but could be so much betterI have been playing now for a few months and I have really enjoyed the game. However it could be so much better. First off the events are nearly impossible to complete. I like how everyone starts out pretty much equal in the events (unless they have super managers) but I have NEVER been able to complete one and during an event I am playing a lot throughout the day and night. I go into the game every half hour to hour throughout the day and I am very lucky if I can get a silver badge, this last event I only managed a bronze badge. Anyways I don’t understand why the developers think it’s fun to set every event so it’s impossible to complete. Secondly the rewards have really went downhill as well. I have fun playing the regular game but when I can’t complete the events I find myself not even wanting to play the game anymore. Lastly, I very rarely get Legendary chests and these are necessary to upgrade your workers. I hope the developers make some changes and put the fun back into the app by making the events easier to complete. ✓ Better Have Patience.This is reasonably amusing and a time killer, but definitely one of those low-brow cash cow apps, nothing more. Literally every element of the game has advertisements trying to poke you into spending real life money on very temporary things like boosts that last 5 or 10 minutes, or for in-game currency that is gone in a flash. There are tons of ads to watch if you want a two hour income boost, and that only counts on the specific mine you’re on, so each mine gets you the pleasure of watching more and more ads. There are special event mines going on. You cannot and will not succeed those challenges unless you put in lots of real life money. The game is addictive and a joke at the same time. I wish there were a way to purchase a completely independent and non advertisement based version, I would’ve bought this outright because again, it is a good time killer, a simple to follow management game. But they designed it to get way more cash from you than it’s worth. If you are extremely patient and prepared to be forced into a losing situation at times, and prepared to be poked with ads and offers extremely frequently, you’ll otherwise find alot to like..Version: 3.00.0

✓ Recent update purely for monetizationThe most recent update for this game made a big change to the “chest” feature. Players could previously buy legendary chests and were told exactly what they would receive. Each chest came with a legendary card, which justified its high in game currency cost. Now, however, they mad it a 50% chance to get a legendary card, which means I will now waste half of the money I have spent hours collecting in game on useless cards just for the hopes of a legendary card. They did this purely so people would waste real money to buy more chests because they can’t get they cards they need now on the first shot. They tried to justify this by saying the other chests will have better cards but any card other than legendary is useless and the epic chest only gives a 5% chance of a legendary card while costing half the cost of a legendary chest (which is already too expensive). This seriously disappointed me because they have changed over to this “loot crate” system that has plagued the gaming world in the last few years. They now expect their players to waste half the money they grind for on basically nothing. This was a dirty move and changed a 5 star game into a 2 star game overnight. Nothing pisses a player off more than a greedy company and this is the definition of greed. For new players it is not as catastrophic, but for those at higher levels it was a vital game feature to advance in the game..Version: 1.46.1
✓ Crash, crash, crash !!Unfortunately have given up on this game. It’s fun to play but the constant game crashes and battery drain is too much. During an hour of gameplay, it will crash more than a dozen times and drain 30-40% battery! It crashes mid gameplay, switching between mines, clicking anything on the maps, launching adds and at the end of adds giving no reward. This was all on the low-res option too. Maybe there is too much animation for my older iPhone to handle. Possibly including an option to turn off/reduce animations might help?.Version: 2.88.0
✓ CrashesI’m at level 9 of the coal mine and it crashes every 2 minutes; it just gets annoying. I play on Apple IPhone 6. It is also very laggy and my rewards for my epic expedition went missing. When I go to research that is normally where it crashes. After the 2 minute crash thing had gone(Edit) Research Is were it happens but within the first few minutes but after they have passed whenever u go into research it will crash and I have noticed a patten; the game crashes every half hour and it is as soon as it turns 18:30 to 19:00 for example. I have also lost 1 hour time jump and 1 half hour time jump and 12 super cash. The crash also happens when you’re on the map. In the new update, I don’t see a difference in the bug fixes and performance changes you have made. In fact, the crashing is worse..Version: 3.27
✓ Not what I would call 'idle'This game is fun; it really is. The time required to play is enormous for an 'idle' game, though. Each mine has thirty levels plus the elevator and warehouse. There are seven main islands with five mines each, events that repeat each week for decent rewards, and then Impossible Island, which takes 25 days just to unlock one mine (and 200 for the first three). After my second round playing this game, Mainland was still the death knell: 225 mines taking at least a day of semi-active play each, and it takes dozens of them to get or upgrade Super Managers. Plus now, only basic SMs are available in Mainland; the rest are for Super Cash in the store - achievable, but by no means quickly. If you're going to play, get the ad-free or you’ll be drowning in the things. Consider the permanent double active (not idle!) boost or the game will crawl, same with any other idler. After that, feel feee to enjoy - but be aware of the time investment each and every day..Version: 4.6.0
✓ It’s got problemsGuys I played this game for a long time and there’s so many ads. Not just like Papa bad that you need to click that. But there is a lot of ads when you’re like trying to get a chair store purchasing something and it’s like very annoying. I also don’t like it because you don’t earn a lot of money and money is a main thing in this game. You earn like a little bit of money and to buy a new island it’s like so much I can’t even tell you how much it is. ✓ Ok untilAt the start I really enjoyed the game and was always playing it yet there was some issues with the app crashing. I always added new mines yet I got to the barriers and it didn’t have a new mine Button even after I spent my coins to unlock it. I find it boring staying in the same coal mines all the time. I would go to another mine but the other places all have question marks. I thought I would go on a expedition but it says you have to be on mine shaft 6. ✓ Not a gameOriginally when I played this I very quickly noticed that there was nothing to play. I played it for 4.5 months grinding every day to complete things. The satisfaction with this game was completing things and getting satisfaction that you put in a little effort and finish something. However this satisfaction fizzled away. After unlocking and completing all islands and even fully prestiged several mines the developer adds more. And endless cycle where you can complete anything and a game with no playability. The one thing that made the game appealing was lost. I hope the developer reads this and understands that this is not a game where people want continuous new content, it’s a game that people want to complete. The first 3 islands islands are reasonable easy to get and the grinding challenge comes from fully completing and prestiging the miners. The super manager mines means you get that quick dopamine rush. Not trying to complete the other islands. The dawn and dusk mine were nice enough. But the plans for the next two take away what the ‘game’ stands for. Today I’ve made the difficult choice and deleted a game that I have enjoyed for so long because there is no playability and no end goal in sight..Version: 2.68.0

✓ Just lost all my progressI started playing again about 2 months ago and have been logging on daily, just upgrading my mines and having fun and I got up to the sapphire mine. Then the summer games event mine came out so I played it and got to mine 7 then went off for the day. Now I just logged on and the game bugged out and for some reason let me buy up to mine 11 just completely bypassing the barrier and then it crashed, I just loaded it back up and everything has been reset and I’m back in the coal mine. I’ve just deleted the app cos I really can’t be bothered restarting the whole game. I hope the devs read this and find out what that stupid bug is so no-one else has to restart for absolutely no reason. I liked this game too :(.Version: 3.56.0

The first mine only gives you like 100 dollars then the second you gives you more than the third one gives you like 3,000 dollars and you really want to get that money but the lift has to collect the first one and the second one before the third one and by the time you collect the lift is full and then the third mine builds up and builds up more money turns out to be $1 million and the lift is still collecting $300.Version: 3.76.0

✓ AddictiveThe advertising situation. Isn’t bad, in IdleMiner Tycoon. It doesn’t play unwanted pop up ads. that is the main reason, I continued playing. Progression is good enough to keep you interested but, mining is a terrible industry. Do not play this game. And, I don’t want to level up my ability, to ad boost. That is not a skill. Once I realised how good ad boosting is my progression increased substantially even though I cannot bring myself to put any stars in the blue tree skill because they are all ad related. The blue skill points level up different aspects of the ad boosting system. Deleted Idleminer, in the obsidian mine, with shaft 30 at level 1. Lift/warehouse 88-87 respectively. Deleted, and will not play again because the blue skill tree exists..Version: 2.8.0
✓ Too many VERY long ads to progress in gameI have enjoyed this game, I really have. But after playing for several months I have gotten to a point where if I don’t “boost” production, the game goes nowhere. So I’m stuck watching ads. I often play at night when my partner is asleep and the white background ads are VERY bright and you have to click “next” four (yes, I said 4) times every 13-14 seconds to clear them. So it is basically a full minute ad. Ads should be 30 seconds MAX with an option to skip after 5-10 seconds. ✓ Suggestions!Heya! Please read to the end! I play idle miner everyday, and I have some suggestions. One, with the collect all button, we should be able to collect all our stuff without unlocking all our mines. We can’t because we have to unlock the mines! That’s ridiculous. We should be able to unlock the button when we buy the gold mine! Two, the event mine money should be converted into our regular mine money. If that would happen, the event mine would have more of a purpose. Three, I unlocked the mainland mine and I need to buy dawn continent gears for research. It says you need to unlock the dawn continent. Ok how am I supposed to get more income if I can’t buy the gears?! Four, why do super managers cost so much? I know they are better managers but really? One hundred green gems? You have to replay every mine and you don’t even keep the shards you made! I was at aw and I have to start all over. Sure we can keep our money for the regular mines but not for the mainland mine?? That seems unfair. Five, the chests are great, the rare chests give me epic cards sometimes but I think the chests are overpriced. ✓ Great game ruined by AdsThis was a great game I played everyday. I enjoyed the challenge of trying to complete the mines especially the special event mines where you gain lots of cash and upgrades but you have a limited time to do it. The only way to complete these mines is by watching ads in order to increase the amount of gems you are collecting. While the ads are kind of a pain, I would sit every night and let the ads run to make sure I was collecting the most gems while idle. Then a few months ago they started running ads that have multiple parts. It takes 3 to 5 seconds to load the timer then the ad runs for 10 to 15 seconds and you have to hit next to continue watching the ad. You have to do that usually 4 times to gain the upgrade. It has taken all the fun out of the game. Letting an ad run its course is one thing, especially if I was doing something else and put the iPad down for a minute. But to have to click next multiple times means I can’t put it down. You can get rid of the ads but it costs almost 15 bucks to do it. Now I might play once a week or so and usually after 2 or 3 ads I quit. Please get rid of the multiple segmented ads so this can be a fun time wasting game again. That’s why only 2 stars. ✓ 40 second ads!?Most apps out there are going to the “skip in 5 seconds” option. People know if they want what is being offered or not in less than 5 seconds so to force people to watch (or set the phone down for 30 seconds waiting for sound effects to silent) and then having to wait another 11 seconds for the ad to try to force participation is annoying... Anyway, by the time the ad is over you’re too annoyed at it to want to even try it. To add more time to double income, you have to repeat that process over and over - often having to watch the same ad again and again. Anyway, as fun as the game is to watch growth daily, the ads have killed it - then know one wins since ads aren’t being watch when game isn’t played. Please update ads to have the - skip in 5 seconds - option so the game can be worth waiting for the actual game time. The point is not ads. If it is, a more effective way is mentioned above. This is a highly addictive game, I've never missed daily reward, i car for all my mines and, I'm on top of my expeditions. Idle Miner is amazing and i love it... But one thing i don't love, is that you sometimes you cant exit out of an ad when you try to boost your mines. I bought the idle cash forever and i watch ads to boost my mines to get x4 income. But ill get ads (ex. Lords Mobile) that i watch and when it finishes, the close button doesn't pop up. I thought maybe i should give it a minute because some close buttons dont pop up right when the ad is finished. The longest i waited was 5 minutes and nothing happened. Then i would have to close the app and i wouldn't even get the boost for watching the ad. Honestly this little thing is what ruins the game for me. I wish the developers would look into it. ✓ Addictive but ruined by dodgy adsI love the game, but it’s seriously let down by the ad platform it uses that isn’t all that transparent. It uses a tiny pool of repetitive ads, some that try every trick in the book to make you go to the App Store taking you out of the game, sometimes hiding the countdown, sometimes hiding the ‘X’ so you again click through to the App Store and worse some that ignore your phone settings just to give you annoying in-game ad music. The number of different things that pop up as soon as you enter the game and the icons that are permanently on the side that you have to navigate make it nearly unplayable. ✓ Crashed and Lost it all…I’ve been playing this game for nearly two years. I hate how long it takes to earn enough coin to progress especially as the levels increase, but I was hooked and was dedicated to finishing starter island. I leave the game open earning coin overnight and sometimes during the day with my phone on the charger. Last night the game crashed and would not reopen this morning. The upgrade today did not fix the issue. I tried reinstalling the game today but when it reopened I had lost everything and it started from scratch. I had only a few more levels to go on each mine on starter island (had 25 of 30 levels maxed on each of the five starter island mines) and had several other islands well underway. I had over 10,000 hours of run time and it’s probably responsible for ruining my iPhone battery. All of this to lose all my progress overnight. ✓ Needs quality updateThe game is good all in all, although it gets rather annoying later on when you have more than 3 mines. I’d say that the chests do almost nothing to help you move quicker through the game. They give you a few cards which have the smallest chance on upgrading 1 out of about 12 multiplier-increase characters. The problem here is that all these characters do the exact same thing so it is worthless to have 12 different characters. This makes the game exceedingly boring after roughly 3 mines because after that all there is to do is just wait for your resources to collect, which is a very slow and boring process. Other than the slowness of late game and the frustration of the character cards, this game heats your phone up dramatically and drains your battery. Also there is a significant lag when you have so many different workers on one mine. I would recommend that an update be made where once you gain 5 workers or so it trades out to a single 5x efficient worker on one floor to lessen the lag and battery strain. Furthermore, I feel that after you prestige a mine, it’s simply a huge hassle to have to break the barriers. Specifically the time it takes. I feel that every time you prestige the time to remove a barrier should be cut in half. Otherwise, you simply lose a lot of resources over time for the first 3 days or so after a prestige. I like this game, but there are a lot of things I would like to be changed to make it more enjoyable..Version: 1.51.1
✓ Idle CrashesThe game has a decent expansion curve for idle clickers. There is enough new content that gets fed to the player as they go through the first continent. After that it gets a little repetitive but events are there to keep you from family on holidays. Main problems are some of the events are 48 hours long, and without spending cash you may as well ignore those completely; then there's the crashes. Crashes prevent you from playing more than 10 minutes without throwing you out. What makes this worse is that it loses the work you put in but remembers the time, so you lose progress. I completed a reward this morning which I actually earned yesterday as well so I've lost 12 hours progress. For a clicker, with events - catastrophic and will likely lead to me deleting the game. ✓ One big marketing campaignAfter playing this game for 3 months, and other idle games for many years, I can honestly say this game feels like one big marketing campaign. You open the game to pop ups and these refresh during the day and pop up again. The left hand of the screen has flashing icons for offers as does the top of the screen. Most things you can do in the game also have some kind of bonus function you can pay for. It’s none stop. As to the game, it’s cute but has little depth and there isn’t a whole lot to do except resist the offers. Once you have the continents open and progress a little ways with them everything grinds to a halt. It then seems to come down to the super managers you have to progress (yup, lots of offers to get more of these) and building up a levels resources for boosted runs (more offers for these) to put on a few levels.. rinse and repeat. The sad thing with spending on these type of games is that it gets you very little progress in the game and hooks you in to spending more as you feel invested in the game. One super manager at lvl one can easily cost you £50 in this game and there are lots to get. Even with a few good super managers it’s still a slow, slow grind. ✓ Horrible don’t waste money on itThey never balanced the game but rather have my review removed (probably what happens to all there negative reviews btw). On a 25 level mine I make an entire letter grade under which is longer than it was before when I first got the game. U can pay 12-50$ for speed but that obviously just for kids playing on there parents phones to be suckered . At this rate it would either take a year or 2 of grinding or lots of money. It was my favourite, I’d graft constantly especially with the special event mines as it’s keeps the game exciting with new mines and rewards for completing parts of the event mine. The only problem is you may complete the whole event mine and when it’s over with you don’t get your rewards. It’ll say your rewards have been added to your inventory but sometimes you only get a few of the rewards and other times I’ve had events finish and haven’t received any rewards at all. For a little while this problem was sorted then it crashed, I lost all my event badges, game data had to start again and since then the rewards don’t always end up in my inventory after the events. These rewards can then help you with boosts and cash that you can use in your other mines to further your mines but you complete the event mines and don’t always get your rewards given to you. It’s just annoying and a waste of time completing the events. It’s frustrating as well so if you do wanna play, don’t bother with the events if you’re like me and get annoyed at wasting your own time.Version: 3.71.0
✓ Achieve A New Level Of AnnoyanceI remember when this game was pretty basic. I would spend hours playing. Over the course of a number of updates it gradually became more of a nuisance. Log in to Facebook so we can track your activity there. 5 popups asking for money, 12 icons running down the left hand side and on the top of the screen all flashing begging for your attention. A random gopher popping up at the bottom feeding you an ad based reward. This game went from enjoyable to down right flipping annoying. Only a matter of time before the creators run out of screen real estate and render the game unplayable. I feel sorry for the devs and designers whom put so much energy in to making this game. They had a really fun and solid concept but some bean pusher or upper probably wanted more ways to earn revenue and kept telling the team to add more more MORE. ✓ Great game but it does have a couple of down sides.I have been playing idle miner for about 5 months or so now. I love the game it a great way to pass time very simple but addictive. There are a few issues though. Firstly as I said I have been playing for about 5 months daily and have only ever gotten 4 legendary chests and out of those I have only ever gotten 1 legendary worker. You can’t get the legendary worker cards to lvl them up and they basically become useless. My common workers are at least double that of the legendary workers. Secondly the event mine prizes have gone way down hill you used to get so much more in prizes for completing the mine and why is there no legendary chest in the prizes for fully completing the mine? They did add daily log in prizes in which at the end of it is a legendary chest which is great but it isn’t helping players as much as intended. Third mines can only be prestiged 5 times and for most of us our idle cash comes from upgrading mines trying to save 4800 cash for legendary chests but what happens when mines are maxed out how do you get idle cash? Getting idle cash from expeditions is a very long slow process and probably wouldn’t keep players playing. I really do love the game and shall continue playing if it wasn’t for these couple of issues I would easily give the game 5 stars. ✓ Fun but crashesI’ve enjoyed the game. The ads are tolerable because you get to usually choose if you want to watch them and use them to double your income. After several days and only 4 mines plus the mainland, the sheer number of times this game has crashed is astounding. Pretty much it will crash about 50% of the time (feels like more) when I switch between mines. Then one must add on the 25 seconds to load each mine, each time, and my x10 incomes for 5 mins are actually eaten away due to crashes and load time. ✓ EhI really like this style of game and have played many like it; this one is pretty cool and entertained me for quite a while! The actual game process is quite good as well as graphics. Gameplay is easy enough but the fact that you can’t choose which managers you are buying is just incredibly irritating when you’re spending all your money for a rubbish one that you already have 10 of. Not worth it. As someone who has gotten to the end of the second continent it is now basically impossible to keep track of what’s what and I have lost track of the first continent entirely....
