✓ Is this a money trapI have most of the bimi boo apps and you have to pay for most of them in all the apps is almost the same cost to get the full pack all I am trying to do is distract my little brother for a while and in this game he has finished all the pictures.Version: 1.88
✓ Lovely app, shame about adverts even in paid for versionMy toddler loves this. Keeps him occupied for ages. We have the paid for version which, at £7.99, isn’t cheap. I was incredibly disappointed that it still had adverts for other Bimi-Boo apps in the corner. Of course a toddler wants to then press this appealing corner picture and purchase another app. Cue toddler tears and frustrations ruining an otherwise lovely play session. ✓ In app purchase doesn’t include or unlock colouringWanted to love this, and I’m sure if you payed for the full version (overpriced as it is) it may be somewhat enjoyable. ✓ Developer removed premium access after I paid for itThis is a great app. My children love it. So much so that I paid for the full version, that is supposed to include all pictures and tools. Imagine my shock when my child complains that she doesn’t have all the access she used to. I look in the app to find that all the tools are locked down behind a paywall again. ✓ Issues with this app on iPhone XSMaxThe app auto zooms when opening the app it will not allow you to exit the adds. App has to be closed completely in order to go back in to coloring but it continues to stay in some sort of zoomed mode. I have tried everything asked of me by the developer. ✓ Bimi BooI got this for my son and was disappointed that he could only play one for free. Most colors and tools were locked, but he still enjoyed it. I looked to see how much it would be to unlock everything and I decided to just buy the Aliens pack for $2. He got to color alien pictures, but the colors and tools were still locked. I still ended up having to pay $8 so he could use everything. Soooo my suggestion is to pay everything up front so you won’t be spending a couple bucks here and there and have it add up without getting everything. To pay everything up front just click on one of the “locked” tools and it will give you the option. My son loves Bimi Boo and we have another of their games we bought. ✓ Unable to restore purchases across family sharingAfter many attempts of restoring the full price version, installing and uninstalling, turning on and off family sharing, restarting the iPad, I’m contacting the developers for a refund. We recently set up an older iPad for our child with a family sharing account and no amount going through the proper steps gets it to work. Over all it’s an okay app that’ll keep a kid entertained for a decent amount of time but the thought of having to purchase the full app again may want to stop some parents if they’re using apps across multiple devices.
