Zwift: Ride and Run for Positive User Reviews

Brilliant winter alternativeIt is a lot to take in but once you have your head around it, the game is great fun. Some people don’t like the ‘game’ aspect of it but given it has free riding, work outs and races, it covers what your average rider needs to stay on top of their fitness. Pays to keep it up to date and it will work fine if you have decent hardware (up to date tablet, computer, etc.)..Version: 1.0.48969

*THE* MMO for indoor cyclingQuite simply, there isn’t anything like Zwift. It’s THE definitive MMO game for indoor cycling. It has its fair share of quirks, bugs, and UI/UX oddities but once you get over them, it offers a great experience that gamifies cycling. Running the Companion App on a smartphone in conjunction with the main app is STRONGLY recommended - it adds a tonne of in-game functionality. Note: I’ve run Zwift on a laptop, iPad, phone, and AppleTV. iPad and AppleTV win for ease of use and reliability..Version: 1.32.1

If you don’t Zwift yet - do it!Couldn’t have gotten through the last eighteen months without Zwift and all the new friends I have made around the world. Started with running, as that’s my thing, but eventually invested in a bike to challenge myself with cycling, something I’d never done before. Now love both! Healthier, fitter and happier for the whole experience. Do it!.Version: 1.16.2

Fantastic! This App has been a great tool to get the maximum out of my spin cycle and the support is unparalleled. 5 stars for sure.Version: 1.33.4

Excellent cycling appI have read a lot of the reviews and I honestly have not had any of the connection problems. At first, I attempted to stream from my phone to the TV but it was significantly delayed so I bought the Apple 4K and downloaded the app directly on the TV and no problems ever since. I use a Wahoo Kickr core trainer and a Wahoo armband HR monitor and I have never had connection issues. I love this app so much so that I get accused of having agoraphobia! My son, the gamer, feels the graphics are rudimentary compared to his video games so perhaps that is an issue that can be addressed. Also, there are times that my avatar will literally ride right thru someone which is unsettling and obviously not realistic. Overall, this app has changed the way I ride. You could never get me on a trainer for an hour prior to Zwift. Now, I often opt for the trainer rather than going outside!.Version: 1.0.70832

Bike geniusZwift has revolutionized my training and helped me increase my fitness even though I am in my 50s. My wife and I often ride together — it is a great way for us to spend time together and stay young yet ride the workouts which are appropriate for our different fitness levels and experience. On those days I consider not riding because of weather or being sick of four wheeled death machines, Zwift ensures I will get that workout in. And it is super addictive as well as allowing for very precise training. I thought it was crazy to spend $1k or so on a smart trainer until I demoed Zwift. Then I did not hesitate to swipe my card..Version: 1.0.30934

Great way to keep cyclingGot myself a Tacx flow smart and a £40 wahoo arm heart rate monitor (don't use your watch it isn't accurate, especially an apple watch, waste of time) then installed zwift on my ipad2 and most importantly zwift companion and off I went, after using Tacx utility to calibrate. Has worked brilliantly from the off and I have done rides, races, TTs, FTP plus our club rides are now through the zwift companion so get an invite each week and join the ride. Definitely making me a better ridder as well as went out and did a PB on everyone of my normal climbs. Only comment was joining a book/scheduled event is not obvious and I missed the first couple until someone talked me through it. You have to start a ride in any world 5 mins before the event starts then look for the join group button in the bottom left hand corner..Version: 1.0.48969

If you are listening Zwift peepsLet me start by saying how much I love this game/experience. When I looked at the price I thought wait, how much? but then after using it for a couple of weeks now I can say that I am hooked. It is the experience that keeps unfolding the more you use it, I haven’t even scratched the surface of its potential so will keep on riding on. If Zwift people are reading the feedback which I’m sure you are, please keep developing you are doing an incredible job, obviously as I keep using this app I suspect over the coming 6-12 months I’d love to see new worlds getting added to keep up the excitement..Version: 1.0.25769

SceneryThe only thing missing is realistic scenery..Version: 1.54.0

Had to unfortunately stopI was really enjoying it. But, started to get double billed. When you spend so much time of your life on hold , checking your bills and writing to see why you’ve been billed extra it’s just better to stop.Version: 1.49.0

Zwift makes indoor cycling class! Agreed!Ignore the negative reviews on here i dont get how someone has rated it 5 stars and slated it! I have used zwift on and off for several years now. I have an ancient iphone 6 and it still works well. I use this to check my badges and change my avatar. For people who dont get it, get out on your bike in the real world. Or do both and enjoy all things cycling - love and peace to all x RIDE ON!.Version: 1.22.4

Something for nothingSsssooooo many comments on here moaning it costs money. Well wake up people as in the real world you do not get anything for nothing. There are so many idiots in this new century who think they should get anything on the internet for free!!! Some idiot even saying a one off fee like PlayStation should be used then it’s free for the rest of time, are you real? I have been using Zwift for years and it’s great.Version: 1.0.71228

Awesome ZwiftRide, race, explore the different worlds or join a plan (or an event) to improve certain aspects or your riding ie. strength, cadence, endurance etc. Find friends or make new friends cycling along. Absolutely love it and would encourage everyone to give it a go. Thanks Zwift.😀🚴‍♀️👍.Version: 1.0.53416

Great but…This app has been really useful for cycling through the winter and keeping fit. And for that experience 5* However, logging in…!! Zwift blame Apple. For an app that uses Apple as a platform and the monthly fee is not cheap, that’s not a valid reason for this issue where the user struggles to login to the app. I can login through the web but for the app…! I deleted the app & reinstalled it; updated it; changed my password (which is near impossible to do through the app); toggled airplane mode and no change to logging in on various devices. It didn’t work. When I turned off my mobile device completely and started it up again, it worked!! This is a 0* rated experience!! And blaming the platform… that’s a poor excuse for anyone. Choose the platform. Make it work. That (& the great experience you have when you can get into the app) is what you’re paid for! Thanks for your hard work. I hope I’ve given you enough info to work on & I hope you manage to resolve the issues… All the best.Version: 1.20.1

Excellent since dual worlds availableI’ve been using Zwift on PC and Mac for about 3 years now, mostly in the late Autumn to early Spring months, but gave up when there were just too many riders it was ridiculous. Now we always have the choice of two worlds I’m happy again and using it regularly. The only advantage to PC/Mac over iPad was the worlds hack, and now thats no longer needed I just use my 12.9” iPad, which is tremendous for Zwift because of the touch screen for interactivity with the app - and the excellent graphics. I’ve never really liked indoor training and rarely did much more than an hour before Zwift, but now I train harder and longer over the winter months..Version: 1.0.34056

AmazingAmazing for cyclists. I’ve never been more motivated. Never used it for running. Highly recommend. Please fix Apple Watch pairing issues for heart rate..Version: 1.0.46903

Suddenly indoor cycling is worth it.I use Zwift on iPad Mini 2 and the companion app on iPhone 6S connected to a Tacx Bushido Smart trainer and a Wahoo Tickr HRM and I can honestly say the experience is flawless. Heart rate, power, cadence and [virtual] speed are all measured and the trainer adjusts the resistance to match the terrain/course. The workouts and training plans are superb and have made a big impact on the speed of my development (and recovery times), helping me know how far I can push when riding out on the real roads. The gamification is just enough to incentivise training that bit harder for longer and it really pays off, and the Strava uploads and live segments are great..Version: 1.0.25769

It’s ok. But there’s nothing better.Decent exercise app, for the most part. Never experienced any issues with connectivity, and the workout plans are great. Intro music amazing. Very happy. 4 stars because the UI and the UX is so bloody awful. All of the symbols and buttons are totally proprietary to Zwift, and Zwift doesn’t provide clear instructions for any of these symbols ... frowning toast symbol? Your guess is as good as mine. I get that being unique and having brand identity is important, but Zwift created its own universe of buttons and symbols and does a terrible job of explaining each one and how to use it You cant create custom routes, only custom workouts. Editing custom workouts on anything except a computer is really frustrating. Navigating in general is just difficult unless you have the Zwift Companion app which loses connection 9/10 workouts for me. Dashboard during free ride is extremely annoying. Anytime there’s a Zwift segment, 2 different screens pop up and begin feeding KOM info about the upcoming segment. It’s distracting and there doesn’t seem to be a way to remove. Overall for $15/mo I’m satisfied. But I’d be quick to try something else if it became available..Version: 1.0.59353

Loving it but....Absolutly LOVE this app! Seen a lot of result and it good quality. Only defult is that there it always take me a eternity to conect because there is always probleme. Over all I would still rate this app a 4 stars out of 5 because of it many benift..Version: 1.33.3

Not as good as it once wasThis has become less and less reliable and we now expect a crash each time we ride with it. Our iPad is virtually empty and WiFi installed in the garage itself is easily in range and yet it has become more frustrating over time. If the connection is lost the indication of this fact is so small it is missed easily. (an online trainer connection is more than important) the words on the screen appear as big as the clock and unless your ready for them unreadable. The application drops out with a sudden black screen then back to the iPad main screen without explanation. Forcing you into restating the whole thing from scratch. Sometime you go back to the point you were at, other times you begin all over again. Since we pay for this app I don’t feel the development team is keeping up with the basics..Version: 1.21.2

Everyone’s hereThis is not just an app but it is a community of Keen cyclists all able to ride together, train together and race together from anywhere in the world. Before the lockdown and before getting a smart trainer and getting on Zwift I would have chosen to have ridden in the rain and the cold …last winter, as with this winter I’m indoors and absolutely loving the brilliant riding and training… thanks for a great platform..Version: 1.0.71228

Be aware of the data usage.I loved using Zwift. It’s great for training, motivation and keeping you fit when you can’t get out on the roads. However, after the first month of using Zwift I got my monthly internet bill and it was 5 times more than what I’d usually pay. Unless you have unlimited GB from your internet provider, be very careful how you use this app. You could end up with a unexpected massive bill like I did. :(.Version: 1.0.32268

Zwift App + Joining an online club (Evolution Cycling Club) = PerfectionMy first introduction to Zwift was by way of a cycling friend. Once I decided to take the plunge I went all in, brought a Smart Trainer that came with a Zwift 30 day free trial and after a few minor hiccups I was riding my first group event. I got dropped after 5k. It turns out I entered the wrong Cat. Oops a lot to learn, but learn I did. With a few more rides under my belt I stumbled onto an EVO Flux group ride and really enjoyed the ride, the group chat and more importantly the great support they provide. 15 months later, Zwifting has replaced my road riding (only 4 rides on the road in that time), yet I Race ZRL, compete in WRTL TTT events and Proud to ride wearing my in game EVO Magenta ride kit. Plus I have a new bunch of great people from around the world whom I ride/race and tt with. One day I might even meet some of them in person. Living the Dream..Version: 1.39.0

Cancel your gym membershipI’ve been using Zwift for about 4 years now. It’s superb. Training for a long distance triathlon in the winter with snow on the ground seemed impossible until I started on Zwift. Cycling alongside other real people, participating in group rides, the option of joining races which are really well organised and monitored to stop cheats, and a myriad of workouts means this app is literally the one stop shop for any cyclist. It’s so good, that there’s just no need to venture out on the roads in less than great conditions - it’s not a make do, it’s a genuine substitute. The larger the screen you have it on the better - it’s much easier to see all the stats provided to really improve training output..Version: 1.23.3

Spinning in an other dimensionAdding so much fun to the cave ! Let’s ride :).Version: 1.54.0

Brilliant appZwift has been amazing during lockdown. I was initially sceptical as loved the ‘real world’ of Sufferfest. But Zwift gives me so much more social & community interaction, which is so sadly missing at the moment. I’ve had very few tech issues using Zwift on iPad, Companion app on iPhone and connecting through a Wattbike Atom. There have been some, but name me a perfect app!!! Given the massive increase in subscribers and usage over a very short period of time, that’s brilliant. Well done Zwift!.Version: 1.0.49617

Most fun on a bike since I was a teenagerJust about to hit 12,000 km in 3 years. It’s still fun because you are riding with real people and can always find someone at your level. My favourite activity is to have a go at the sprints. Way safer on Zwift then with the idiots behind the wheel in real life..Version: 1.54.0

Amazing fitness appIt really makes safe indoor training possible. It takes the boredom out of the train. Races are amazing for people who’s access to irl races is limited.Version: 1.44.0

Love the new interfaceI’ve been a member for more than 3 years and have been crying out for something closer to what you are doing now. The old interface made it hard to find training programs and search for events. Also now sorting courses by duration and effort, distance etc is useful. It was quite a big and surprising jump, but I’m all for it; on the road with you as you iron out the bumps!.Version: 1.30.0

Doesn’t work on IPad ProCurrent version doesn’t work on new iPad Pro - disappointed to say the least..Version: 1.0.70832

Addicting - also one bug that needs to be addressedZwift is hands down the most addicting way to ride an indoor trainer. The way they’ve made it into a game makes every ride a competition against both yourself and hundreds of other riders. You can compare yourself instantly with riders from around the world to see how you stack up. The only drawback is that if you lose internet connection for even a second during a ride, the app won’t upload your complete ride. I’ve heard from support that they’re working on a safeguard for this. But, I logged a ~16 mile ride with over 1000ft of climbing only to have it log the first 7 miles of the ride only. I hope this gets rectified in the future for all the zwifters who deal with spotty Wifi connections!.Version: 1.0.34042

Expensive but a fun reliable app22 dollars a month is expensive.. I love how there’s always constant events every hour and the animation is pleasing. Would love to see more clothing attire and bikes/ wheels added, the more the better :).Version: 1.0.65416

Interface is still clunky and VERY touchyI love Zwift, but there a few annoying aspects to the starting screens. Despite the latest interface, it’s still not intuitive and when using an Apple TV remote it is extremely difficult to perform small movements in your selection. As an enhancement idea, I think it would be great if your avatar had the cadence recommended by the training program when performing a workout and there isn’t a cadence sensor linked to Zwift. It can be difficult to judge the suggested cadence, but if you could follow the avatar that would be very handy.Version: 1.32.1

Genuine Game ChangerRiding with others, whether cooperatively or competitively, is the key, motivating factor. You will ride more, you will push harder and even have more “fun” because others are there doing it with you or against you. Variety of terrain, workouts, group rides and group workouts, races and all the eye candy is the icing on the cake but doing it all with others will keep you coming back for more. Technically it’s worked for me 99% of the time on various hardware, give the free trial a bash if you want reassurance. Costs - way less than a round of drinks per month and it saves me way more than that by continuing to be an appealing alternative! Just to add, this review is based on using PC, iPad and iPhone versions with a power meter and basic “dumb” trainer. I have also used the very basic speed sensor setup (virtual or “Z Power”) for a short time, which worked absolutely fine, but is likely to significantly exaggerate your performance (in my case, verified with subsequent power meter comparison, around +7-10%)..Version: 1.0.25769

Nice app, but….I’ve been using Zwift for running for a couple of months now. I am now using it to train for a half marathon. I really like it. The workouts are challenging. However, sometimes my workout isn’t available for me to do when I am planning on running. For example, this morning I was planning on running my long 12 Mike run, but Zwift says my run isn’t available for two more hours. This has happened a few times. It’s very frustrating. On top of that, if I run on my own I can mark the run as complete, but Zwift won’t track it. So my mileage is off. It is a nice app though..Version: 1.17.0

ZwiftLes entraînements en groupe nous amènent à aller plus loin, plus vite et plus longtemps 💪.Version: 1.54.0

Really enjoying the experience, average power soon? What are your thoughts on displaying average power, better metric for riding steady state as I would in a triathlon, cheers m.Version: 1.16.2

Needs more singletrackIt’s been great doing Dirt Destroyer and Singletrack Slayer to stay in shape over winter for mountain biking. Will we ever see more mtb programs and(or) another self-steer single track trail like Repack Ridge? Please?.Version: 1.34.0

I ride on Zwift 5 days a weekLooking at some of the reviews you would think this software barely works! I ride on Zwift regularly throughout the year (been using it for around 2 1/2 years) and it’s rare to have a problem. Some of the issues I’ve had in the past were related to my flakey internet connection. As some of the other reviews have said - it’s a game changer and it’s taken indoor training from something that was dull and tedious that only the most dedicated cyclists would stick with, to something enjoyable with plenty of options. Whether you want to race, climb, group ride or whatever - you decide..Version: 1.0.34056

Totally addictedThis is such the perfect way for work out for busy parents. I do look forward to once the kids are in bed and I can hop onto a social ride with people which also pushes me so much more than riding myself. I think there’s something for everyone whether you at a serious cycler for a slow poke like me that appreciates the games and badges and social element to keep me motivated. Ride on!.Version: 1.0.61162

Very good, except…Excellent, except for Apple Watch pairing that needs to be fixed..Version: 1.57.3

AddictedI haven’t cycled in about 10 years. Running was more my thing. Decided to mix it up and bought a WattBike and downloaded this app same day. It’s been fantastic. Everything worked very easily first time and I’ve been on it nearly every day since. I can’t wait to get home from work and go for a ride. Family life suffering slightly 😉 I can’t recommend it more highly and have suggested to a few cycling friends..Version: 1.0.34050

Up there with or above the restI’ve used zwift since it was released in beta, it’s progressed to become a great indoors tool. I’ve also had many other similar types of training set ups but come back to zwift every time, the training is great, group rides and events are a fantastic way to get thru the winter months, the only thing ( which is easy to resolve) is the daft background music. Out of Tacx, sufferfest it’s great value for money, and easy to use..Version: 1.0.22935

Updated: fixed their login bug in latest iOS 13 buildAs great of a workout it can be when it works, their app organization feels like some desktop UX that was ported (poor affordances, no size scaling, unclear navigation hierarchies). But, the real loose-poopie kicker is that whenever you Log Out on iPad OS 13.* you may not be able to log back in, like ever, at all. That means constant emails back and forth with Zwift support and asking for refunds, and lost workouts. The team seems to be prioritizing other work and not thinking this is a worthy bug to squash. Could be a 4 star product. Could be. But it ain’t. The competition in this space is heating up, I’m looking forward to that competition keeping teams on their toes..Version: 1.0.44575

Does EverythingFree ride in the mountains, test your sprint or just ride (you always find somebody to push you too). Then there are the workouts when you need to build on those weaknesses. The product is mature, stable and makes all other forms of training for casual and sport cyclists pretty much redundant. Be warned though, although any trainer with just speed sensor is needed, the full experience of 14% gradients, road feel and an utterly convincing jaunt through the rolling country of the Watopia hilly route, are best achieved with a very expensive Tacx Neo trainer. Next comes the dedicated pain cave. Zwift will cost you, not just for the subscription..Version: 1.0.22144

GlitchesA good exercise game overall just some glitches like when you end a race and check results the game crashes and if you are on a route and you change direction it ends the route..Version: 1.45.0

ZwiftI love it, have been using it for about 10months now, at home(Australia )with kicker and at work (offshore Africa) on Wattbike, I have a foot pod for running treadmill at work and home . It has worked like a dream, would like more places to run.Version: 1.0.32535

What has happened to this AppFirst of all I use an iPad with Zwift installed, I have an Ellite Supercrono Smart turbo Trainer and I use Garmin speed and cadence sensors with my CABLE (North Pole Express) as the bridge. I have used this set up for the past 3 years with very little issues. The small issues I have had, I have resolved without much effort. I have been using this App for 3 years now and I have really enjoyed using it. Even more so now the developers have added new Maps. For the past month however, I have been having issues with dropouts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Zwift and uninstalled and reinstalled the Cable software re-pairing the sensors each time, I have turned off other devices to cut down the chances of interference, I have even installed Zwift on my Samsung Galaxy A71, HOWEVER, no matter what I do, each time I ride, I continually get multiple dropouts within the ride; 10 per 15 minutes. My speed, and cadence drops out. I have installed new batteries in the Cable, speed and cadence sensors multiple times. Why is this happening Zwift. I have now uninstalled Zwift permanently and I’ll be using something else..Version: 1.0.54684

PriceWhat!!!! Gone from $10 per month to $20. If in my business I increased my prices by 100% then I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t take to long for my business to close. Something else will come along, it always happens.Version: 1.0.34042

Great fun with amazing resultsI started using Zwift during the first lockdown, which helped me greatly to keep my sanity. Since then, as my fitness levels gradually increased and I became more confident, I have used it more and more for climbing training and further and distances. The amazing result is that this year - for the first time ever - I’ve entered 3 Sportives of 75, 67 and 119 km and I am not afraid of hills any more. I turned 60 2 weeks ago and I’ve never felt fitter or better. Thank you, Zwift..Version: 1.48.2

Great appThis app is amazing. It has so many features including structured training sessions and plans. You can free ride on endless roads in many different worlds from wattopia to London. It is a great way to get fit and is very enjoyable. You can also race with people of your own ability. The sweat point function is amazing giving you something to save up for, same goes for xp points. Amazing app whatever king of rider you are, pro to beginner there is something for you. Really great app although should make it a function to make your own workout on a iPhone as well as a iPad..Version: 1.28.0

Game changer for treadmillsI’ve never been into treadmill running until quarantine when I got one but still hated the feeling of running in place. While running in a virtual world is still different, I feel like I’m going somewhere, seeing new things, I like the gamification of distances unlocking rewards, and was surprised at how much I like the community element! Giving each other “ride ons” makes me feel like we’re really all out here supporting each other. And the training programs are actually really good! I’m working towards a half marathon and feel really strong already. My request to developers is to have more routes that don’t involve running on streets— I want trail runs, not to be on the side of the road. My virtual knees hurt lol.Version: 1.0.57818

Great training and immersive for allNew cyclist here and definitely done more miles on the turbo than the road thanks to covid (no one needs my inexperienced self crashing over a pebble on a back road...) I don’t think I could sit on a turbo for longer than 15 minutes if it wasn’t for something like Zwift. Love the group rides and the training plans. Which are of course included in the monthly price. Couple of technical glitches here and there but I think these are being captured in the updates..Version: 1.0.49822

Recent Updates DisappointThis was good up until a month or so ago. The menu structure was changed so that it takes much longer to find the rides you want. They need to spend their energy to expand the number of rides rather than messing up the front end..Version: 1.30.0

Totally addictiveAddictive, fun, intuitive. Something for everyone. Races, group rides, workouts, social rides and much more. Never looked back..Version: 1.15.0

Train all yearIn northern climates, an indoor trainer is necessary in the winter. In southern climates, there are many summer days when riding outside is too miserable to enjoy. No matter where you live, scheduling conflicts, distracted drivers, dogs, and unpredictable weather can easily derail training progress. Zwift — WITH A SMART TRAINER — keeps indoor training productive, engaging, entertaining, social .. and so much more. Whether you’re free riding in one of the many worlds, or following a structured workout provided by Zwift, or following a training program, riding with a friend or trying to advance in the game .. Zwift has something for everyone. It’s helped me eliminate “excuses” during Ironman training .. having a bike I can hop on first thing or last thing, tired and yawning to start or whether it’s the highlight of my day .. I’ve been able to get stronger on hills, improve endurance, and see gains .. I ride a lot outside now too but it’s awesome to have something to engage me indoors. If you only have a basic trainer, Zwift is just entertainment. Invest in a smart trainer and then come back to it. Because it’s really truly fun once you’re fully connected..Version: 1.16.0

Opens up a whole new option for getting on your bike.I tentatively dipped my toes in to the whole world of virtual riding a while back. I’ve slowly gone from dumb to smart trainer, iPhone to iPad to pc and a big screen, it’s been a really fun evolution. One thing that hasn’t changed is my choice of app. I’ve tried a lot of others along the way but Zwift just seems to have that secret sauce when it comes to fun and usability. They seem to really have an eye for future content and functions, I appreciate that they are always trying to improve. Once I discovered group rides and races…there’s no going back. Thanks Zwift for letting me get more riding in to my busy schedule!.Version: 1.29.1

AwesomeZwift is a great way to lift your spirits, especially during winter months. I use it all year round fir the training sessions and FTP tests. Worth every penny. Works well in conjunction with Strava..Version: 1.58.0

AddictiveWhen the weather means it’s not nice and Zwift is available then why would you even bother going outside?? Then along came ‘Lockdown’ (1, 2, 3 etc) Group rides, discord, messages, banter are all possible with Zwift; however The Cafe stop is not a thing in Zwift (good or bad??) So why Zwift and not TrainerRoad or FulGaz or Sufferfest?? Riding a bike as a kid was fun, it was freedom; it was an adventure... Zwift is all those things in a Virtual environment that allows you to ride through a volcano, climb steep climbs (Alpe Du Zwift) and explore a virtual jungle; it’s a game that is more than just a game. You can enter races, (yes people cheat just like real cycling 🤪) you can challenge yourself, you can escape the ‘real world’ and for however long you wish you can be that kid with the smile riding your bike or going for a run. That’s what what your money buys you when subscribe to Zwift. There’s a saying where I live... Winter Miles; Summer Smiles. Zwift can deliver those winter miles. There’s enough going on in Zwift for it to be good value. That’s my view..Version: 1.0.61162

Incredible potentialI bought this app along with a wahoo kickr snap to ride with my friends from across the country. So far the app has shown to be a very strong training tool and alternative to outdoor cycling. This isn’t designed to be a forza quality graphics game so don’t expect that. It is pretty accurate when polling stats from any connected devices and rarely has bugs with timing. A few things worth noting… The app has crashed on me a few times, losing all data mid race and therefore not allowing my training statistics to realistically show progress. Uploading the completed activities to apps such as Strava frequently gives crazy unrealistic maps that run out into the ocean or don’t portray the real path taken. App occasionally has issues displaying live stats for wahoo cadence sensor. I don’t believe this is a device bug but the actual game software itself. With that being said, I highly recommend the app for the price and the possibilities to train and improve your riding abilities..Version: 1.14.1

Cycling Game changer!!!I had a not very smart trainer and was using it with ifit for a year and didn’t really notice any gains. Then I found out about Zwift and got into cycling as a sport, I can’t believe I hadn’t jumped for this sooner. From the first virtual ride (using Zwift hub one) I knew this was going to be a real game changer for me. I really can’t praise the set up enough, the hub one trainer and app run so smooth and set up was so easy that I didn’t really even need instructions. I have only really been doing the events and haven’t really got into the training side of it yet. The results speak for themselves though, I have lost 10kg of body weight and my w/kg numbers are continuously improving. I love the Zwift community too, I have found people to be light hearted, encouraging and welcoming on this platform. I can’t stop telling people just how good it is. This certainly beats stuffing your face and watching TV (for the majority of the time anyway ;p).Version: 1.62.0

Zwift racingSuper fun and challenging.Version: 1.33.6

Life changingZwift is so much more than just an app to me. I am a Zwift disciple at this point. I have been Zwifting for close to 4 years now and can’t imagine how boring the past 4 winters would be without Zwift. I have met numerous people from around the world on Zwift and have become part of a larger cycling community because of this “app”. Sure, the interface could use some updating and it seems to take forever for new routes and worlds to come out but really enjoy the app still and am never left without a challenge. From racing, to tours to group workouts and events there is something for every rider of any ability. Even my 9 year old likes Zwifting! RIDE ON!!.Version: 1.0.67630

Good but…Companion app is occasionally hit and miss that’ll it pick on your session. Otherwise pretty cool training aid..Version: 1.27.0

Incredible Virtual Fitness PlatformI am amazed with zwift as a platform. Prior to zwift an indoor workout of 60 minutes was a boring slog. Now 60 minutes goes by in a breeze. Setup: I use zwift on Apple TV 4k. I ride on e-motion rollers from inside ride using a powertap with BLE for power and cadence. I never have connection issues between the powertap and Apple TV. For heart rate I use Apple Watch paired with the zwift companion app. This works well most of the time. Occasionally there are pairing issues between the Apple watch and the companion app. Zwift has enabled me to commit to fitness in a way that I have not been able to do in quite a few years. I'm losing weight, getting fit again, and I am having fun while doing it!.Version: 1.0.32535

Game changer for indoor trainingI’ve been using indoor cycle trainers for the last 20+ years when the weather dictated I need to train indoors, since using Zwift I have definitely noticed the intensity and enjoyment increase remarkably! My wife even commented that she’s never seen me train that hard indoors! Love Zwift, just need more time to train, less working👍🏼.Version: 1.51.0

Apple tv training planWow. there really should be a better way to just pick up your current plan without all the clicks..Version: 1.42.0

Life changingLittle bit of backstory, I bought a Zwift hub one with a free year of membership towards the end of December 2023. I was looking for a cardio workout that was easier on my legs than running. Since then I have been completely hooked. I have rode over 500 miles spent over 30 hours on Zwift! (Would of been a lot more miles however I’m working on unlocking the Tron bike) I’ve competed in a couple races with my friend and they were extremely competitive got the same butterflies in my stomach as a real life race at the start and throughout I was pushing to my limit. There’s endless things to do on this app including races, group rides, workouts, hill climbs, sprints and so much more, I can see myself using Zwift as my main form of cardio from now on it’s honestly amazing. I wouldn’t usually sit here and write reviews but this has changed my life. So thankful to the developers can’t wait to see where it goes in the future!.Version: 1.58.0

ExcellentGreat bike training / weight loss app. Riding over 6000 miles a year with a wahoo trainer on my own road bike. Using Apple TV 4K with large screen tv mounted on wall in pain cave. The app works with no significant glitches. Tracks heart rate, power, cadence and will take your riding to the next level. I also have the the wahoo climb and Bluetooth fan. Love the level ups. Currently working on all the route badges. Keeps one motivated such that I do not have time for riding outside anymore. No risk of getting run over at home. I take call from home and can pause the ride for unlimited time and pick up where I left off. Can’t recommend program this enough for the biker who wants serious ride time..Version: 1.0.49822

Fenced group rides unrealisticSince Zwift has added the “fence” on group rides it’s difficult to recommend Zwift. For 6 months on Zwift I was delighted to do group rides. In order to discourage a few flyers from going off the front, group leaders asked for and got a fence which can be set for 5,10,or 15 seconds ahead of the leader. Cross the fence and your out of the ride. Leaders often yo-yo in the wattage, or get behind on hills while others have crested and must stop to wait or will bump into the fence. 15 seconds isn’t too bad on flat routes. But 5 and 10 are ridiculous on any route. It’s not a realistic group riding experience to have to ride bunched on a leader..Version: 1.0.39718

Zwift runningMy husband and I liked the idea of him riding while I run, both of us using Zwift for working out together. While the idea of Zwift running is a good one, the execution is not living up to my expectations based on what I have seen with the bikes. I have tried the original Milestone and the Milestone-turned-Zwift foot pods and neither is able to stay connected. The drop outs are so frequent and aggravating that on most of my treadmill runs, I end up turning the iPad off and just watching the little graphs built into my treadmill. It’s become a question of which is less annoying, the hit-and-miss function of Zwift for Runners, or the boredom of that little blip on the treadmill marking my progress..Version: 1.0.32535

Genuinely delightedI’ve gone through most of Lockdown seeing people doing e-training and thinking how much easier it is to just get out on your bike outside....like a normal person should do. However, New baby born mid-Covid has predictably smashed our days to pieces and that’s amazing. But the belly I’ve developed and accompanying dad-bod not so much. Thought I’d see what this is all about, and as a severely time-limited person the ability to jump on my bike, fitted with Bluetooth speed and cadence sensors to a dumb trainer for 30-60 minutes and do a structured workout is excellent. I’m a big big fan of this app - the collaboration is great, the plans and ready-made workouts are excellent and I like the structure of wattage goals too. Give the 7 day trial a bash, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.Version: 1.0.55226

What’s NOT to love about ZWIFTRide anytime. Ride with company. Ride to Race, Train or just for social interaction. Zwift has opened up a new world of riding for me. I just love it 😆.Version: 1.0.33010

Best fitness in your living room!Ever since I started Zwifting, my fitness has grown by leaps and bounds! This is the best thing that happened to me!.Version: 1.33.5

5 star all the way.Best riding platform out there. Endless workouts and a ton of routes. The racing is fantastic too. The Zwift team is also very fast to respond. By the time I notice any little (very very little) issue, somebody has already complained and they’ve addressed it in the next update. (Eg of what I'm talking about is something like your avatars visual cadence doesn’t perfectly match your actual cadence on the bike. Small deal stuff). Way to go Zwift team keep up the good work. It’s very obvious you have top notch staff on your team..Version: 1.43.0

The best all rounder!I only joined in 2022 however it seems Zwift has made plenty of progress in the last 12 months. I’ve tried other platforms and each have pro’s and con’s. I always come back to Zwift as it has the best all round features. I would like to see more in-game metrics during a ride not afterwards. Price might be high but to me I’m getting a quality experience and beats going to stinky busy gyms..Version: 1.56.0

I constantly use this app!I have a modestly priced Schwinn stationary bike that hooks up via bluetooth, and have never once had issues. I am not a fan of the spinning, motivational-style of Peloton, nor the price, and this is a far better option for me. I also am not looking to “kill it” or be on a bike forever, so having a bunch of rides that take in the 30-50 minute range is great. If I feel like it I can do a race, but even that is not real competition unless I want it to be. There is, however, something motivating about seeing progress in the routes you take and points compiled. And just like real life, seeing others makes you want to keep pedaling. I do wish I could cross some of the longer rides off my list by riding them in chunks, but otherwise have no intention of ditching this app after (as of now) almost 2 years of use..Version: 1.24.0

Not compatible with M1 iPad Pro.I purchased a new iPad Pro 12.9” 5th gen with the M1 chip, started Zwift, paired successfully with the trainer and HR monitor, entered a route, and all the telemetry shows up but the VR world is a black screen. You can ride but completely in the dark. I did some research online and it seems that no one with an M1 iPad can use Zwift right now. For a company making millions of dollars a month on subscriptions, there’s no excuse for this. Pretty sure they’re going to take our monthly payments on time as usual but it’s been 11 days since we had our iPads and no update. June 2nd, 13 days later, the app is up and running with the latest update. It’s been a long couple of weeks but at least they got it running. I’ll update the rating to 4 star for that..Version: 1.0.71228

Zwift is cool!Following a rather nasty bike accident on the open road I decided to stick to riding a exercise bike attached to Zwift at home. This app is great. You can enjoy it on so many levels. If you want to do workouts you can, if you want the … er… thrill of social media whilst cycling you can do that as well. You can enter races or just do your own thing. It’s quite simple, the harder you pedal the faster you go, and the fitter you get. That’s it really. I have yet to see the abominable snowman, but have encountered various dinosaurs, wild boar, ibex dogs and deer on the way. It’s not real life, the Alpe D’Huez does not rise from the Mayan jungle accessed through an Italian village by way of a tropical undersea cycle path, but it’s jolly fun all the same. Love it!.Version: 1.23.3

Amazing gameLove the game although I would like Zwift to add the choice to import you own local or famous routes that you can ride with friends or your self.Version: 1.40.0

Best video game ever!If you want to call it that, I certainly do. Be prepared to sweat and have fun. I’ve been a road cyclist since my late teens, raced competitively and been on year-round training programs. This is the perfect app for that. At my age now, I don’t have the time or frankly the courage to ride at length on US roadways and Zwift imo is a fantastic substitute for that. I can tell you the responsiveness of the game as far as terrain, drafting, momentum etc is incredibly accurate. For me the experience is enhanced by having a large screen monitor (I used to use a projector!) and some floor LED lights for effect… makes it that much more fun. The in-game achievements are a nice reward to go after as well. Plus they always have so many organized events to take part in- or just explore on your own. Enjoy!.Version: 1.24.2

Way too many updates, annoying in the extremeWho can fault Zwift for the online community and virtual ride experience? What stops me from giving 5 stars is the excessive number of updates which is utterly ridiculous. All I want is the freedom to jump on my trainer and go for a ride on a whim. Not too much to ask right? It feels like barely a fortnight goes by without a lengthy app update leaving me standing around waiting for minutes. TBH when that happens I give up and ride outside..Version: 1.16.0

#1Absolutely the best way to stay fit indoors..Version: 1.56.0

Mostly greatMostly great app. And appreciate the ongoing improvements and courses. Could use: - detailed breakdowns of activity. These semi-available in Strava, but nonsense that it’s not available in system. - Post race details - Better navigation options in training plans. Tough to see what’s ahead..Version: 1.0.26728

ZwiftaholicThis has been a godsend during lockdown. There’s so much going on that it keeps it varied. Love it! Racing, social rides with great clubs, in game pacers (new). The gamification is great fun also.....I will get that Tron bike!!!! I’ve also had the pleasure of dealing with some of the gozwiftausnz crew and not only do they have a great product but Wes and the team are a great bunch too! Ride on!.Version: 1.0.57818

Found a new passionAfter a shoulder injury due to a bike crash I needed something to maintain fitness. This has allowed me to improve my muscle tone and it’s triggered a passion for sprints. Love them! The scenery is great, variety of courses, training plans and races. If you can’t get out to ride, this is great alternative.Version: 1.0.55600

Should’ve signed up a long time ago !!Never been so motivated. Don’t have to depend on the weather anymore to be able to train, not to mention winter. Love the guided workouts, the many maps. It’s quite realistic and so much fun. Would love the ability to “star” or bookmark a workout for later.Version: 1.39.0

Rate itGreat application and a small glimpse into the future of stationary based cycle training..Version: 1.0.28834

Great way to get back on the saddle!Moving to Montana I thought would yield great cycling opportunities, instead turned out the choice was to ride next to 80 mph traffic or ride on dirt paths. My road bike spent three years in hibernation and it has been thrilling to give it a second life - in the winter no less! Zwift has been an excellent way to challenge myself and get my legs used to long distances again. I do recommend blasting an uplifting cycling playlist to get in the groove. Elevation adjustments have been tricky to navigate with the trainer I have, but standing up seems to help. Also using clip on pedals makes a big difference..Version: 1.59.0

Very good but sort out Apple Watch connectionThe app is great and takes outside cycling indoors. With plenty of other users online from different time zones there are regular (round the clock as far as I can see) races and group rides. The scenery is well done and so is the variety. But please, subscription isn’t cheap so surely you can work out how to connect the heart rate monitor on an Apple Watch more easily than the complicated instructions on your website. Come on! Please!!.Version: 1.0.48093

The most bang for your buckI’ve been using Zwift since 2016 so seen a lot of changes, it has been an incredible evolution in a very short space of time. Where else do you get so many options to train with others from all over the world? Free rides, training sessions from the likes of GCN, PR challenges, crit races, time trials, missions, meet ups, fun social rides, clubs to join, new worlds and courses constantly added, guest appearance rides from the worlds best like Geraint Thomas and Spartacus, Alpe D’Huez and soon to be added Mont Ventoux. Gives me everything I could ever need for a small monthly fee while never having to leave my house. Ride on everyone!.Version: 1.0.53005

Perfect lockdown appIt’s hard times for everyone worldwide during the COVID-19 lockdown and we need every bit of positive support we can get. The benefits of exercise have been proven again and again both physically and mentally so we need to try and stay active whenever possible. Turbo training used to be a boring slog but tools such as Zwift change this. You really get involved in the whole Zwift world be it a gentle spin through the desert or a ride round the sites of London. Then if your competitive side comes out you can test yourself on more challenging routes and climbs then even join races and really test your form. This is a great tool especially in times like these, it brings the outdoors indoors. Take care of yourselves and stay safe..Version: 1.0.48093

Back from the deadZwift has helped me come back from a horrible Tibia Plateau Fracture. I was an avid rider who thought riding was over. 2 years later I am in as good riding shape as I ever have been! I used to ride 68 miles daily (34 & 34) to work and back, which helped put the miles in my legs but left my wife constantly worried for my safety. After being run off the road a few times and losing two friends to being hit by cars, I gave up the commute. I turned to mtn biking. After my injury and a year of PT, I started to Zwift. I love it! The workouts are great! Group rides, racing & Tour de Zwift are awesome, but so is the fact that I can jump on anytime and just ride. I can be a loner or social anytime, day or night. My vO2 max is back up to 52 and I feel stronger everyday. The best part of Zwift (if the above doesn’t seem to be enough) is that it is completely safe! I don’t miss riding outside on roads, at all! No rain, no dogs & most importantly, no texting drivers! No worries for my bride and family! So, sprint, push it (if you like), dig deep or go for a fun base or recovery ride. Zwift offers endless rides, routes and workouts (or create your own). Do it all in the safety of your climate controlled environment. It is great training, great riding and great fun! Go Zwift!.Version: 1.21.2

Your guys rock!Zwift, the best thing to come out of lockdown. Let’s keep creating new courses & comps like off the maap. Keep up the good work Wes & co..Version: 1.0.56501

I cannot recommend this game enoughThis game has become such a positive in my life. It keeps me motivated and I keep coming back for more. There’s always something new in the game to try. It’s a real challenge.Version: 1.23.0

Cool Motivation for the indoor cyclist.Came upon Zwift accidentally when I realised that my Concept2 Ergbike and heart monitor could connect to Zwift simply by adding this App to my AppleTV. Outputting to a large TV screen provides an almost immersive experience. Connection so far 99% reliable - no drop outs during training - a very few slight hiccups when connecting but I think that’s down to the PM5 monitor on my bike, not Zwift. I find it great fun to use and being able to ride with people from all over the world has certainly improved my appetite for indoor cycling - after a month my fitness has improved noticeably- I’m overtaking more and being overtaken less..Version: 1.0.59353

Makes indoor cycling funFor me, It is actually more social cycling on Zwift than in bunch rides outdoors..Version: 1.18.0

Why does Swift make me ride harder?Earlier this week, I managed the highest continuous output for the longest duration that I have done since I’ve been using Zwift. Why? Well as it turns out another rider, I believe it was M. Miller, was just ahead of me. If you don’t think you have a competitive spirit think again when you can’t bear the thought of letting them get away from you. The training sessions are good and introduced variation, which makes the time go better. Plus the people making the training sessions. Have an idea of what it takes to get better, I don’t. And another source of motivation is having other riders to challenge you to keep up with them, Primo!.Version: 1.57.1

Au quotidienBelle façon de se motiver Toutefois j’ai de la difficulté à me retrouver dans les graphiques, vélo avec roues surlignees?..? Échanges de textes Ride on etc….Version: 1.57.3

Fabulous Concept - pray you don’t have problemsInside the game environment is a great experience. The level of detail that the game goes into is truly amazing. Setting rides up with friends, joining other rides, training programs, linking back to Strava, there is just so much to go at. It got me back on my turbo trainer and loving it. It’s a five star app all the way ....except for the customer service. I had an issue with my Bluetooth connection dropping out, once mid race, which was frustrating to say the least. First response took 7 days, and was the equivalent of “have you tried switching it on and off again?”. Second response has been nearly two weeks now and nothing..Version: 1.0.58982

A great distractionPrior to zwift I had a dumb trainer and my longest workout was around 45 mins, then boredom would set in and I would give up. I’ve been on zwift a month after not riding for years and managed a two hour session. Having other riders pushes you on whether you race, do group rides or just explore the various tracks. If you have a standard turbo you can buy a cadence and wheel speed sensor for around £50 and give it a go..Version: 1.0.39718

Train harder than you thought you couldWith Zwift I’m training harder than I thought I could and that’s being transferred to my road riding. I’ve always had turbo trainers and always trained as hard as I thought I could, then along comes Zwift with other cyclists to ride with or compete against and I’m pushing much harder. The app isn’t as intuitive as it could be, but I’ll forgive it that. If you can stretch to an interactive turbo trainer it makes a big difference..Version: 1.0.34050

Fantastic!!I love this app and the Zwift smart trainer. I went with the Hub One and coupled with the app on my phone it’s the best cycling thing I’ve brought (along with my bike of course! 😆). I’ve done over 1000km so far and not had a single problem. It’s perfect for the winter months and rainy days. So convenient just to jump on and get going, the longest part is picking the ride! The interaction between the app and trainer is really good. You definitely feel the climbs. But the best bit is no weather, headwinds, traffic, puddles or potholes!! If you’re think of getting smart trainer, stop thinking and just get on and buy one! You won’t regret it. I’d also recommend a big TV (connected to your phone), a big fan (you’ll sweat a lot) and rocker plate (for sprinting and comfort) 👍👍.Version: 1.59.0
