OLD REVIEW: I’m so excited for the mobile ports of the AA series! It plays super smoothly and it’s great to have the auto save feature in case you need to put your phone away. However, I’ve purchased the other episodes and the app doesn’t recognize that I’ve done so. Thus, I’m unable to play past the first half of case one. ✓ Great game, but.....I love the ace attorney series and have all the games on my ios device, but why do we have to verify that we have purchased everytime we start it? I get that you want to protect the app from pirates but when we don't have internet we're screwed as we cannot continue our save. Also is it possible to select a section from the chapter instead of always starting from the start? ✓ A great port that still holds up in 2022I very recently have been playing this series again after only playing the original Phoenix Wright game in 2020. After finally playing through the original trilogy games on the Switch, I went to go see if the rest of the games were available for me to purchase without spending an arm and a leg, and I was very delighted to find that I was able to! The game played very well for me, and I didn’t experience any bugs whatsoever either! (I have an iPhone 11 if that helps at all) I 100% recommend this game to anybody that enjoyed the original trilogy of the game, as well as for those that are looking to get into the series without playing the first three games! I’m looking forward to purchasing Dual Destinies when I get the chance to next, and after that Spirit of Justice! :).Version: 1.00.04
✓ Nearly perfectBig AA fan here. I was so excited to see Apollo Justice get some remaster love. I didn't even mind the prices. The new visuals are stunning!! But my one complaint, the one thing stopping me from giving 5 stars, is that sometimes there are issues when the videos start playing. The audio continues, but none of the visuals follow. ✓ Great!As a longtime fan of the series, this port is definitely a higher quality remaster than PW trilogy. While the game itself isn't the best Ace Attorney game by any means, I think it has the best visuals of any Ace Attorney iOS port. Additionally, I see a lot of people complaining about glitches and such however I experienced no such thing. ✓ I need more of these!As with the original trilogy I loved playing this game! The visuals are really nice, the sound builds up hypes for big moments and the story is wonderful with plenty of twists and turns to surprise you. I find it really difficult to fault this game. Gameplay wise my only problem is that you can’t wind through the video often shown for chapter 3 but I feel that’s a feature or lack of from the old game. I would rate this a 5/5 but as with others the need to be online when the game first launches is annoying. There is no need for it as 1) the user has already brought the game or they can’t get access to the chapters anyway and 2) you literally only need the Internet when you first go onto it. After that I have immediately not been using the Internet and it’s been perfectly fine. It seems like a really dumb thing to add. Overall it’s another ace attorney game I have loved and I hope CAPCOM make all of the games from this series playable!.Version: 1.00.01

✓ Fun and worked perfectly!I don’t usually write reviews (I’m lazy that way) but I remember being hesitant to purchase these ports because of the negative reviews, so here’s my experience: My game worked just fine! I had one minor glitch, where the music would stutter for a moment, but this was rare and happened maybe 3 or 4 times in the entire game. ✓ Not bad!A very unique addition to the Ace Attorney series. Most of the gameplay from the other games is still the same, but the perceive mechanic adds a cool new way to see past lies. The comedy and drama are at their prime, but it does get a bit too twisty at the end. Some of the logic seems very off, but by now, it looks like that's an Ace Attorney norm. ✓ Ace Attorney is Perfect on MobileThis is a port of a DS game and honestly the gameplay fits perfectly on mobile. For 16 dollars total between the 4 episodes you’ll easily get your money worth. Total playtime for me was about 20-25 hours and it’s well worth it. ✓ An above average port and update with minor issuesThe visuals have been given a good makeover all-around, resembling the actual anime series. More detail has gone into the updated backgrounds compared to the Ace Attorney Trilogy. There is, however, an issue with sound effects, especially with the text/dialogue sound effect, which sounds incredibly hollow and echoey for no apparent reason. It's very distracting if you're used to the series and expect it to sound a certain way. That said, the new pricing model is a bit iffy. Previous versions provided the first chapter for free and the rest as additional paid content. Now you're asked to pay, an admittedly small amount, but even this will only net you PART of the first case. You have to pay for the second part, as well as the additional cases. This makes the full game slightly more expensive than the newer and more advanced Dual Destinies, albeit there are no extra cases DLC cases as this was originally a DS game rather than 3DS..Version: 1.00.00
✓ Wonderful port, but poor sfx qualityVisually this game is stunning, the HD sprites are phenomenal. There is a small issue with the low quality sfx sorta ruining the whole updated feel of the game but other than that it's fixed some missing elements that the Trilogy port left out, and we have case artwork now! I'd say if that were improved and you worked on better compressing the game (it's 2.3 GB! ✓ It's a pretty great port compared to the TrilogyI don't know what everyone's problem with the game is. Compared to the many glitches and problems I had to face in the Phoenix Wright Trilogy, this is a piece of heaven in my book. First off, the HD is great. The animations and artwork look amazing and clean. The gameplay is a major upgrade from how the Trilogy was done. Sections like the map examinations aren't so glitchy compared to the Trilogy and forensics sections are very smooth to control. Sure the music at times faces a glitch, but it can be fixed by closing the app and entering it again. The app is great and is something people should definitely buy if you wanted to know the story behind Apollo Justice's first year as an attorney..Version: 1.00.01
✓ Really enjoyable gameI finished the phoenix wright trilogy and i really enjoyed it, so i looked to see if there were any sequels and i found this game. i was a bit bummed when i saw phoenix wright wasn’t the defense attorney but i really really enjoyed the game and i’d put it probably on the same level as the original trilogy. the game itself is good although i didn’t realise you’d have to pay £15 (unsure if that is the right amount as i don’t remember exactly) to unlock the other episodes, i knew it was too good to be true for 99p. but if you want an amazing follow up to the ace attorney trilogy with the return of some old faces too then this is definitely for you😁😁😁.Version: 1.00.05

✓ Great port of the originalI went ahead and purchased the full game despite the reviews warning of glitches and freezing. I only encountered freezing in a certain part of the third case, which seemed to resolve itself after I closed out of some other open apps and let my phone cool down a little (game tends to make my phone run warm if played for a long time). I played on an iPhone SE... so if you have that or something better the game should run fine for you. The game is even better than I remember. The graphics are sharp and clean. ✓ Amazing StoryIt did take up a lot of space, I had to delete some apps to get it to download, but that was worth it in my opinion. It’s an amazing game. The story is so detailed and interesting to follow and figuring out the clues was really entertaining. I didn’t have any problems with it crashing or anything like that, bearing in mind I’m playing on an iPad that is just one year old. Very old iPads probably couldn’t handle it. Had no problems with text speed etc as was reported by some others. My one complaint, is why make you pay 99p for the app when it’s not like that unlocks any playable content at all? I figured the episodes must cost extra, but it’s a very strange way to do it. ✓ Excellent gameI’ve been a fan of ace attorney for multiple years now. i’ve played all the games, and let me tell the people complaining about the rest of the cases not being free; this game isn’t a free game. it shocked me that on the ios they even GAVE you a free trial. this is a close to $30 game. it will never be free. it’s on multiple platforms, and it’s the same price across all of them. stop complaining, it’s very much worth the money. capcom would loose a ton if they decided “oh let’s make this game free because people are complaining :)”. you don’t wanna pay the money you don’t get to play the game, simple. for those who see past this novice issue, the games are amazing and really test your wits. the characters are loveable and relatable, the cases are well constructed and investigations are tricky. it’s an excellent game and one of my favourites in the franchise. also to the people complaining about the dual destinies and spirit of justice problem: of course they’re gonna pull it from the app store??? so other people don’t buy it and then find they can’t get the cases?? are you dumb? also there was a solution on the internet if you looked that allowed you to get the cases you paid for and it only took a few minutes to do. before you go bashing the games with one star reviews just to complain about the two games getting pulled, literally stop and think..Version: 1.00.01
