✓ Sign in and “Auto join” issues1. Passwords are not automatically suggested when trying to open in safari. 2. When clicking an “auto join” link, it tries to open in safari even if you have the app, which leads to the password issue again. 3. When clicking an “auto join” link for the first time this season and then logging on to your safari login, you have to create a new password, once you have done that it doesn’t take back to the auto join link. 4. It’s hard to find how to join a league from the FPL page in the app, I couldn’t find a way to find a league to join. Why not allow a quick add button where you can use the five letters at the end of an auto join url? Please make this more user friendly to reduce so much wasted time. Thanks.Version: 2.2.1
✓ Difficult to find info at timesThis is an app that gets worse as time goes on. Sometimes it’s great, other times I can’t figure out how to find basic info. For instance, a score for yesterdays match of a club I don’t follow. I can’t figure out how to find it. I am sure it’s there someplace, it’s just easier to do a web search for most info. Every year they make it a little more difficult to use as they promote stuff I don’t care about..Version: 3.0.13
✓ All the EA Sports hallmarks.As a person with who does not claim to have psychic abilities I find it amusing that even if the app didn’t have EA Sports plastered throughout it I’d still know it was made in conjunction with the game development giant. It has all the telltale markings of an EA Sports product, on the surface it looks well laid out with clear design language and a well thought out structure. Where this app self-destructs is where any Fifa football title fails, in its operation. The app has exponentially long loading times and crashes are a common occurrence, any updates thus far have only exacerbated said problems and the app now has the reliability of the maiden voyage of the Titanic. The best way to summarise would be to compare the app to any British built and designed sports car of the 1950s/60s beautiful to look at but it won’t work, ever..Version: 1.1.20

✓ ReviewThe app has a lot of good information but is not entirely user friendly. I am technologically savvy so I didn’t have too much of an issue but my friends who did the draft with me had a hard time viewing the points, other teams, the head to head match ups which would be nice if they did a side by side comparison to show predictions but it doesn’t. Additionally, notifications that someone scored or assisted but maybe I haven’t gotten that far yet. Love the sport and love the league..Version: 2.0.9

✓ Last update is a major downgradeNot a fan of the new update: 1. You can no longer see how many fpl players have transferred in or out on the player view unless you go to the transfer page and scroll all the way to the right. 2. Lots of unnecessary stats on players. 3. If you’re making a few transfers and you keep tinkering with many players for a position, you need to ‘restore’ to your old player every time. Previously you could go back straight to the transfer pool. 4. You can’t tell if the upcoming fixtures of your players are home or away. 5. The journey to see beyond 3 fixtures is too long. I could go on and on. Very disappointed and annoyed at this. All the changes have resulted in longer journeys to access the data you are after. ✓ Long Time UserI’ve been doing fantasy EPL for years, and much of it through this app. Generally, I enjoy the app and find it useful. However, there are glaring deficiencies. The app should do better to update scores, fantasy points, and injury news in present time. Better insight to predicting games and outlooks for players in upcoming matches. ESPN’s Fantasy (American) Football does just fine with this, but please don’t come back with the “Go pLAy tHaT GamE tHen” response. Improve your scores and highlights. Not all are available for each match, if at all. Again, I’ve played this app for many years and am generally satisfied with its improvements over time. I think y’all can continue to make this app useful and user-friendly if you focused on the above instead of reporting what Liverpool players had for breakfast..Version: 2.0.13

✓ Poor Fantasy Draft ExperienceI normally don’t write reviews but it’s so poor the way they set up draft fantasy in this app that I had to share. You can’t really say they included Fantasy Draft in this app because it’s not really part of the app. They make you access via web browser in-app. You have to log in every time you want to access. No one knows the draft order till the draft starts. No customizing rules. It’s very obvious how little they prioritized this feature. Maybe next year they’ll understand Draft Fantasy is absolutely the future and improve. Togga Fantasy Draft was easily the best PL Fantasy app out there. Still waiting for a replacement..Version: 2.0.7

✓ Transfers and set line up.Having to set the line up before the first game and not being about to change players available after the morning of the first game is not like any fantasy site I’ve ever used. You should be able to change your line up right up until game time of you hav available players. Having to make transfers so you are always at a positive number while picking is very annoying. ✓ Regular crashes/freezes after numerous updates and so many features missing!Would love to rate this app 5/5 bearing in mind how much I use it but couldn’t do so honestly due to the number of recurring bugs I find whilst doing the simplest of things. Specifically, the app consistently crashes with the back button disappearing and pages freezing. This is aside from the gap in features between web and mobile app too, like team of the week, manager of the month (select phase) and game week summaries. ✓ Access abilityGenerally this app is accessible for blind people using voice-over. That said, several elements, particularly buttons, are labelled incorrectly. Wording should not be abbreviated/shortened. The app could benefit from being tested with apples accessibility wizard. As for #FPL I would also love a function where you could add a player to a watch list of potential players. Would help greatly in managing a team. ✓ Good but could be betterEverything is great for the most part. Losing two stars because anytime i look at like ups, if I even tap the screen, the app goes crazy and starts rapidly scrolling it’s self up and down. To better illustrate say I’m looking at the starters and want to scroll down to the bench, the app wil start shooting up to keepers then down to forwards then up to defense and then down to subs for a second before launching itself back up to keeper again.Version: 2.1.46

✓ Enjoy Draft but frequent glitches/unexpected app closures are annoyingJust redownloaded the app to set up a PL draft fantasy league and have been unable to even update my profile (also unsure as to why I’m being forced to do this) as the app continues to quit and close unexpectedly. I don’t know why draft fantasy isn’t built into the app like the cash fantasy version but it seems that opening a browser within the app is causing issues as setting up a cash fantasy league works perfectly well. ✓ Badly madeIn terms of the actual flow of the app, it’s very good and easy to understand, it’s friendly competitions with friends are fun also. However, signing up and logging in to the app is incredibly complicated. I was recently signed out for no apparent reason, and when I went to sign back in with the exact same details, it wouldn’t let me continue. So, as most people would, I tried to reset my password, when it said that they would send me an email with the instructions on how to reset my password, I never received an email. So I tried again and again and again with no prevail each time. Trying it on other devices brings no success either. It was only on my 5th attempt of even trying to create an account in the first place was I successful. Definitely would not recommend!.Version: 1.2.12
✓ Notifications would be greatA good app but could have improvements. Me and my friends often forget to do our teams before the deadline. Why can’t the app send a push notification for all users as a gentle reminder? Also maybe a notification about your league positions etc? Scout report too, just a couple of ideas. I like a lot of users probably lose interest after Xmas towards the end of the season. The main reason is the lack of engagement from the app I often just forget about it. ✓ Good Idea, Needs WorkThe app itself is fluid, user friendly and fun to use. My problem with this app is not the design, but the server that must be used to obtain and reflect player points. It’s incredibly slow and you find yourself refreshing the app often. Also, the BPS is poorly addressed and at the best of time I have no idea why BPS was and wasn't awarded. You should be able to view BPS calculations live alongside the standard fantasy points so that you know immediately the total FP per player at the end of every game. League displays are also frustrating. Leagues don’t typically update until the evening, usually a couple of hours after the final game. The FPL Draft was a fantastic addition but needs a LOT of work as to how it’s integrated into the app..Version: 1.1.16

Why can’t every player lock at their own game time to allow for late changes. Never been explained the reason for this. ✓ Lineup rules are a jokeFun app to use but having to set an entire lineup hours before the first game starts when a schedule could span over 3-4 days if there is fri and Monday night football is utterly ridiculous. So many times I waste my captain pick because there’s no way to know if they are in the starting 11 before you’re lineups are locked out, then you don’t even get the vice captain points because your captain gets subbed on with 10 mins to go and gets a point so you get it doubled to 2 points. Should take a leaf out of NFL’s app you can make changes to any player right up to kick off on every individual game. Really not bothering too much with this app any more until they sort this out because it’s a complete coin flip when setting your teams as to who is even going to be playing or not.Version: 2.0.13
✓ App is broken and can’t report itSo I wanted to place a bug report in to the app developer, find I can’t actually do that within the App Store (Iphone) transferred to the desktop site, which is no real problem, to only find apple physically wont let me upon completion of the writing the report (on my iPhone) place the report in because of a mail address error during submission. Completely pointless. My issue is I can’t see current live points during games. I also during team selection for next weekend can’t see any listed results within the full player profile option. The fixtures are also not displaying any scores for this weekend. It’s like the app is currently stuck in the past. I would of placed this as a big report like all other apps let you do. ✓ Great app: room to improveSo I am mostly using the app for Fantasy PL and not happy with the app. 1. It is not as user friendy as it could be. 2. The fantasy league does not live within the app and it opens up a mobile version of the website. 3. Nothing comparable to "ESPN Fantasy Sports" app which I use to play NFL Fantasy with friends. Please take a look at what they have and review their features. Only one example is the side by side and head-to-head live results for each week. 4. Also just like the NFL Fantasy, I believe FPL could do more subtitutes. At least three more. Say, 2 goalkeepers, 6 Defenders, 6 Midfielders, and 4 Forwards. This way you could be more strategic. It is very limited now, so a player gets injured, you can't place it on the bench, because you do not have enough players to sub, you need to trade him and get another one which doesn't make sense. According to Apple guidelines “if you see a request to track your activity, you can tap allow or ask app not to track. ✓ Usable but needs to improveI’ve been playing Fantasy EPL with a few of my buddies for the past couple years and I think it’s quite fun to play but needs some updates to improve. First, it would be nice to add a button for news for individual players. Whether their managers mentioned about the player, injury update, starter competition with teammates, etc. any news/update/incident related to the player. Second, maybe some new scoring aspects for forwards. There are only handful of strikers that score in so many games. I feel like adding a different scoring aspect like “30-40 successful pass gets 1 point” or “4 shots on target gets 1 point” etc. Third, can you add the difficulty of each teams (2-5) next to the teams that they already played against? I think even separate rating of their defense, mid field, and offense might be a good idea to gauge how well my players were, are, and will be. ✓ The EA run Bonus Points system is broken.Give us the Isak assist against Everton and remove the first assist for Kane against Man Utd. Kane ended up with three bonus points with only two assists. Things like this throughout the season cost players vital points and unfairly adds extra points to other players, and can be the difference between winning and losing leagues and cups. The EA run bonus system is strongly skewed and biased towards certain English and Home Nations players. This season it started off with Kieran Trippier and now it’s skewed towards Harry Kane. The system should be scrapped and replaced with a man of the match system, where only one player receives the extra points based on an independent panel of analysts..Version: 3.0.7

Why do I have to verify my email address and make a brand new password to play on the same account and device as I have played in forever. ✓ You cannot ask me to enable tracking to login!I have been using the Facebook login for the app, however since iOS 14.5, i have made to sure to turn on the ‘do not track’ so that Facebook cannot track me whatever I do. And now PL wants me to enable the tracking so that I can login. Sorry, you are going in the bin PL. As per App Store guidelines you are not allowed to ask users to enable tracking (and a host of other things) to get your app working. It is a free app I know, that doesn’t mean I have to do something which will have wider consequences to my privacy at least. So, off you go to the bin..Version: 2.1.36
✓ Descending into farceI have been enjoying FPL for several years, but the latest situation of an unprecedented blank week with only four matches playing has ruined the entire season for me. Yes, there is a free shot option for such occasions, but like many I have used this in a previous blank week. In my view FPL have ruined a good competition buy running such a minimal week, which was not indicated or warned of until about a week ago as a risk. I shall seriously consider whether it’s worth playing this game again faced with such blatantly unfair flaws. The app does not show overall points in the standings. You have to login to the website to see them. NFL points and results updates real-time. It can sometimes take until late hours of the night after the end of the week for the app to update the standings and final results. The app has made no adjustments to the challenges of Covid-19. They could have added an extra substitution, extra cap, an extra transfer each week, or an extra wild card etc. The owners and creators could have come up with a “Covid stimulus package” for FPL managers. 😀 Other than that, everything else is good..Version: 2.1.30

With new season, had to upgrade to new version of app. Now app updates individual player points once, then stops updating. ✓ Updates stink & app doesn’t functionThere have been a load of updates made to the app that have made it far worse to navigate. Right now a game is 45 minutes in but when I tap the game for details from the “latest” screen, it doesn’t display any details and the view is the same as the pre-game screen. When picking my fpl team, the app is buggy, doesn’t remember changes I make unless I hit save after every single adjustment, and on the list view of players if I click “substitute” nothing happens at all. Clicking to see the player’s points breakdown used to just expand the game details right on the same screen, but now launches a new window - super annoying. ✓ Captain - change it up next seasonThe game can be a bit predictable with the captain picks. Eg picking halland as captain is almost compulsory to keep up . You will have the data and it maybe skewed as we have not seen a player dominant like has has apart from salah freak year. Why not limit captain pick to max of 10 game weeks if the software allows it. Reward those that are daring. For instance those that captained Son when he scored 3. ✓ Table too hard to findThe best part of this app is the table (although I’ll never get used to a “live” table that presumes a win before the end of a game), and it takes multiple taps to get to. It should be visible from the time I open the app, or at least have a it’s own button in the bar (would be acceptable if the table was open at the top of the “EPL” tab). I’ll probably just stick with the yahoo sports app that takes the same clicks to see the table and also shows other sports of interest. Also, no way to follow teams that are relegated to lower leagues. ✓ Pl fantasy footballI enjoy playing fantasy football league especially being a squad competition even doing the quizzes it would be nicer or better if the squad was slightly bigger. My main gripe is every year when it comes to recominsing is that it’s a nightmare to log back in to the fantasy if it’s not a nightmare next season then it will be better starred until then I will still tell people to join because it’s good different fantasy football games get points for tackles made even saves when keeper lets to many goals in can claw back some points. Nothing to add is this being read ?.Version: 3.0.21
